In an old Mansion turned into a party hall

[It's the Gala of the Year. Every prestigious family of the town had received the invitation. Heather Bennett enters one of the biggest rooms of the Party Hall with her cousin Lucia.]

Lucia:

I can't believe we are finally visiting our ancestral house. I mean this has been with our family for more than 500 years and we never got a chance to visit it.

Heather [excitedly]:

It needed some renovations as it was an old building. But now it's safe for us to be in. It will be a great place for dad to host more of these lavish charity balls and galas.

Lucia:

This house is gorgeous, with so many unique antique pieces and the architecture is just so out of the world. I am going to take selfies for my social Bookgram. You coming?

Heather:

I need to fix my hair, you go ahead. I'll catch up with you.

[Heather looking into the mirror in the room and fixing her hair with her hands.]

Heather [pretending in princess voice and saying playfully]:

Mirror, Mirror!

[Someone appears inside the mirror and it makes Heather to stumble backwards on her feet.]

Heather [half scared and half surprised]:

Who are you?

The guy inside the mirror [feeling the happiest]:

Amelia my love, it's me... your Arthur.

Heather [almost panicked]:

How did you get there? You are not hurt are you? And who is Amelia?

Arthur [lovingly]:

Your blood had protected me always and your soul had come to be with me forever.

[Then Heather did the one thing she never thought she would do, she ran from there like her life depends on it.]

London England, 1519

500 Years Ago

Bennett's house, Amelia's room

[Amelia and her mother Diana siting on Amelia's bed.]

Amelia [crying]:

Mother, you know I cannot imagine my life without him.

Diana [calmly]:

My child, you have to understand we are from the long line of blood witches from the Bennett clan. We can never have relationship with anyone from Mckleish clan. Your father will never allow that.

Amelia [angrily]:

I will not allow father to decide my fate. I'll leave this house before he forces me to marry someone else.

Diana:

Oh dear, you're only 17, you don't understand how this world works. Without protection of your father you will never survive a single day.

Amelia:

I don't need his protection. I have Arthur with me.

Diana [in a disappointed tone]:

That Mckleish boy will be of no good to you. We all know they only want our Bennett blood to do their evil black magic.

Amelia [disapproving her mother]:

It is not true mother. My Arthur is not like that. He is the kindest person I ever met. He doesn't even practice magic. He is a man of science.

Diana [standing from the bed]:

Enough Amelia. You are blinded by love or may be this evil magic that you call science. Tomorrow you are going to get married to Patrick by your father's wish.

[Diana left the room, leaving sobbing Amelia behind.]

[There is a soft knock on Amelia's window]

Amelia [opening the window and in a surprised voice]:

Arthur, what are you doing here? My father will have you killed if he sees you.

Arthur [getting inside Amelia's room]:

I could not abandon you my love, in the state of despair. Come with me, we will go far far away from here.

Amelia [hesitantly]:

Oh I would come with you in a heartbeat but how far can we run away? My father and his army of guards will find us in no time.

Arthur [trying to give her some assurance]:

Trust me, I know a place where no one can track us down. Not even your father.

Amelia:

You have to know that my father is master of magic. He can reach to places where no man can.

Arthur:

His magic cannot reach the place I am going to take you to. We are going to a land beyond sea.

Amelia:

Everyone here knows my family, no sailor will allow us to use their ship.

Arthur:

Oh my innocent Amelia, we are not going to sail.

Amelia [slightly confused]:

Then how are we going to travel beyond sea?

Arthur [with a smile]:

We are going to fly.

Amelia:

But Arthur, the magic of flying is long lost with my great grandfather and you yourself don't practice magic.

Arthur:

Yes we are not using magic. It is science that is going to get us far away from here. A friend of mine is making a vessel that can fly. We can go to his place tonight and fly from here at the break of dawn.

Amelia [looking into Arthur's eyes lovingly]:

I will go wherever you take me. I have vowed my life to you my love. As long as we are together it will never bother me where we are.

Arthur [cupping his hands on Amelia's face]:

I love you so much Amelia. I will do everything in my power to keep you safe and happy. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. You have my soul in this life and beyond it. I will be always yours and my heart will beat only for you... forever.

Amelia [joining her forehead with Arthur's]:

Yes, we are together for eternity.

Arthur [touching his lips with Amelia's and slowly whispering]:

We will never be apart.

Amelia [a single tear falls down on her cheek]:

Yes, I promise my love.

[The door to Amelia's room opens and enters Amelia's father with his guards.]

Thorus [authoritatively]:

Guards, catch him.

Amelia [trying to stop them]:

No father please stop, Arthur run.

[Guards seize Arthur and hold him so that he cannot move and other guards are holding Amelia off.]

Arthur [lovingly to Amelia]:

Whatever happens after this, remember I'll always love you.

Thorus:

Enough of this foolish act of yours. I will never allow a Mckleish to corrupt our Bennett blood.

[Amelia gets out of guards hold and runs to Arthur.]

Thorus [to his guards]:

Kill them.

Arthur [pleading]:

No please, I am ready to do whatever you want but please don't harm my sweet Amelia.

[Guards manage to separate them both and hold them down.]

Thorus [with a devilish grin]:

Then give me your soul.

Outside The Mansion, the Gala Day

Year 2019,

[Heather is running away from Mirror and the thing she just saw inside it.]

Heather [bumping into someone]:

So sorry Dawson, I was in a rush.

Dawson [trying to balance her]:

Hey, you okay? You seem little flushed.

Heather:

Yes yes I am fine, just little out of breath.

Dawson:

Yeah I can see that. By the way where were you running like that?

Lucia [walking out of the mansion towards them]:

Hello love birds. Since I am your wedding planner, I think this mansion will be the best location for your wedding ceremony next month.

Dawson [excitedly]:

It's a great idea Lucia.

London England, One month after the party

Year 2019

At the mansion

[Heather is standing in front of mirror in the wedding gown. She opened her veil to have a one last check in the mirror.]

Arthur [looking astonishingly]:

You are looking gorgeous Amelia.

Heather:

For God's sake, you have to stop popping up like this. I am getting married today.

Arthur:

You know in your heart how you truly feel, my dear.

Heather [slightly annoyed]:

I have been telling you this same thing for the last one month. I don't remember you in this or from any other life and I am certainly not Amelia.

Arthur [sadly]:

I wish you all the good luck in the world and I wish you will find love in your heart.

[Heather left the room and started to walk down the aisle. She was having a weird feeling in her heart, it was there for the last one month. She kept dismissing it thinking it as wedding jitters. But now she was not sure, it felt more than that. She saw Dawson was waiting for her anxiously at the altar and the moment she reached the altar she fainted.]

In Heather's Dream

[Heather was transported to event when Amelia and Arthur were held by the guards. She could sense that it was a dream but could feel Amelia's love and pain at the same time.]

Amelia [crying hard]:

Arthur no, please don't agree to this I beg you.

Arthur [satisfied determination in his eyes]:

I am sorry Amelia but I cannot watch you getting hurt. Don't worry my love we will reunite someday.

Arthur [to Thorus]:

I am ready.

[Thorus chants some spells and traps Arthur's soul in the mirror in Amelia's room. Arthur's lifeless body fell on ground.]

Amelia [screaming and running towards Arthur's body]:

No.... please wake up, don't do this to me. I can't live this life without you.

Thorus [without any emotions]:

He is gone from this world, his soul is trapped in this mirror forever.

Amelia [angrily]:

You say he was the evil but you are worse than him. Today you used his soul to fuel your magic and he gave his soul to save his love. So who is the evil now?

Thorus:

Don't be foolish child, he never loved you. He might have used you for his dark magic that he called science. Now he will never harm you.

Amelia:

All he has done is love me with his soul and heart. He has never forced his beliefs on me. You on the other hand have used his soul for your own power. I'll never allow this.

[Amelia snatches the dagger from the nearest guard and slits her wrist. Diana her mother reaches to Amelia's room and gasped in horror by seeing her daughter in the pool of blood. ]

Thorus [along with Diana running to Amelia, who is lying on the floor half-conscious]:

What have you done my child!

Amelia [trying to smile painfully]:

I am saving Arthur's soul, this is the least I can do. My blood will protect him always and my soul will comeback to be with him forever. You will not be able to see his soul in this mirror father.

[Amelia chants some spells and her body lies still in the pool of her own blood, next to Arthur's soulless body. Thorus and Diana cry hard for their dead daughter.]

[The scene vanishes out of Heather's sight, and she lands inside the mirror world, surprised with things she witnesses a few seconds back]

Heather [standing inside the mirror world]:

Arthur my love, I remember everything now. I have come back to you.

Arthur [with happy tears]:

I knew our love is for always and forever.

[Heather hears some dim voices from Dawson]

Baby please come back to me.

Arthur:

This time you have to choose one of us for good.

Heather [confused and clueless]:

I don't know, this is all new to me. I need time to think over this.

Back at the mansion

Doctor:

Heather is in deep coma now. But she can listen to you, so all you can do is keep trying to bring her back.

Dawson [with strong determination]:

I will not give up.
