Temple of Top-Gear

(Narrator's P.O.V)

Carter: *does his transformation pose* Henshin! *spins his driver*

Rider Time! (Techno Rhythm) Kamen Rider Di-git-us! Digitus! Armor Time! (Mach Driver Honoh rock music) Chaser! Chaser!(Final part of Chaser's Transformation Tune)

After equipping the Chaser Armor, Carter tried his best to defeat both Another Drive and Another Chaser but the problem was that he was fighting them alone as everyone else was caught in the Density Shift. As Carter threw a solid punch into Another Chaser's side, he was knocked to side by Another Drive who lined Carter up for a powerful strike by Another Chaser which sounded like they broke a rib or two as he was sent sliding backwards and force out of his transformation.

Carter: *groaning* Dang it! *coughs up a bit of blood* That last one... really hurt.

Another Drive: *chuckles* That's good. *looks at Another Chaser* Now then, shall we end this and take what is ours?

Another Chaser: AFFIRMATIVE.

The two then rushed at Carter with intent to kill and almost getting him when his shadow jumped up and slashed at the two of them before grabbing Carter and the gang and escaping with them. As soon as they were far enough, the shadow then released them as it soon revealed itself to be Kamen Rider Chiteka.

Deva: *confused tone* Huh? *looks around* What happened?

Marlow: We were ambushed by Another Chaser. None of us saw it coming.

Carter: *groans* I did... and I'm afraid they aren't alone.

Lanney: *surprised tone* What?!

Before Carter could say anything, Alex rushed in to the group only to see them (minus Chiteka) either confused or in the case of Carter beaten up.

Alex: *concerned tone* What happened?

Carter: *weakly stands up* I'm afraid that we were ambushed by Another Chaser... and there's something else. They aren't alone. There's another one with them and it's... one of the Main Another Riders.

Alex: *nervous tone* Which... Which one was it?

Carter: *sighs* It's Another Drive.

Alex: *nervous tone, sighs* How'd things get even more worse? First that Another Rider attacks the city and now we're dealing with the "Rouge Ranger!"

Carter: *thinking* "Is that one of the names they gave Another Drive?"

Deva: *annoyed tone* How did the heck did that other Another Rider get here?! We were told that there would be one!

Marlow: *curious tone* That's what we're thinking. Another Drive is one of the Twenty Another Riders and they haven't been seen since their defeat by the Riders long ago. So how could one of them be here? In this very city alongside a fellow Another Rider?

Alex: *sighs* I don't know. What I "do" know is that if those two aren't dealt with soon, it will seriously damage this city's economy and increase the risk for people here.

Carter: *brave tone* Don't worry, Alex. If anything, we'll do everything in our power to ensure that we will do everything in our power to ensure that we defeat Another Chaser and Another Drive.

Alex: *smiles* Thank you, Carter. *looks at Chiteka* And thank you,... umm?

As the group were curious with the person behind the mask, the rider then pulled off the Ridewatch on his belt, revealing the same black spikey haired boy with the purple scarf from the school attack a few months prior. While Carter, Deva and Lanney already knew about him, but the same couldn't be said for Alex and Marlow... or so they thought.

Marlow: *realization, surprised tone* Wait a moment... Hitori Tokayama, is that you?

Carter, Alex, Lanney and Deva: *shocked tone* You know him?!

*Timeskip brought to you by Marlow and Hitori dragging a confused Carter, Alex, Lanney and Deva someplace to eat*

(Carter's P.O.V)

We found a nice restaurant to get a bite to eat after we learned the name of Kamen Rider Chiteka, but our interactions when we got there were very silent and awkward. Deva, Lanney and I were a little curious as to how Marlow knew about Kamen Rider Chiteka aka Hitori... well Deva was more agitated compared to me while Alex just sat beside us not saying a word. Marlow and Hitori were sitting across from us as we remained silent, only for that silence to be temporally interrupted by the sound of Hitori sipping a cup of tea.

Deva: *slams on the table, agitated tone* How the heck do you know him?!

Marlow: *shrugs* Why wouldn't I know him? He's one of members of the student board.

Deva: *agitated yet shocked tone* What?! Since when?!

Marlow: About a month ago.

Deva: *shocked tone* What?!!

Carter: *grabs Deva's shoulder* Deva, calm down. I'm sure Marlow has a good explanation behind that.

Before the two of us could answer, I then received a text from someone on my phone.

"I was transferred to Gwain College five months prior when you showed up. During that time, I met up with Marlow and the student board and after a few months, I was brought onto the board with my grades." Hitori

Deva: *confused tone* Wait, why haven't we seen you around? You'd think a member of the student board would be noticeable.

Marlow: That was his part of the agreement when he joined. He wanted to remain anonymous, but still have an input.

Lanney: *confused tone* Did you also know about him being a Kamen Rider, Miss Marlow?

Marlow: *shakes her head* No. I'm afraid I was also in the dark about that as well.

Alex: *confused tone* I'm sorry, but can we please get back to the point at hand.

Carter: *looks towards Alex and nods* Right. So about our situation involving Another Drive.

Deva: Yeah, now that you mention it. How they heck weren't we informed about there being two of them? I thought it was just one.

Alex: *nervous tone* I don't know! Mr. Marine'ucard filed the request, but he only mentioned the one.

Marlow: *curious tone* If that's the case, then why would he leave such information out? You would think that something like one of the main Another Riders wouldn't be something a person would leave out.

Lanney: *confused tone* Perhaps he might of been too stressed to add a lot of details.

Alex: *shakes his head* No that's not true. Before he left, Mr. Marine'ucard seemed almost calm when he posted the request. Almost as if he didn't even care about Another Chaser attacking the city.

That was another thing that we didn't know about. The reason why their mayor would send the request. If he "truly" never cared about what happened here in this town he wouldn't have sent the request. Before we could question that topic, we then heard the sound of the restaurant's doors open for us to turn see a hooded figure talking with the restaurant owner for a moment before they pointed the figure in our direction.

The figure then walked towards us before looking directly at me. I wasn't sure if they wanted to threaten us or what, but they seemed to smile at the sight of me.

???: At last we meet, Kamen Rider Digits. *looks over at Hitori* Oh and it appear Kamen Rider Chiteka is with you, that makes things easier.

Then Hitori and I jumped back in our seats as the figure seemed to know about mine and Hitori Rider identities and the gang (excluding Alex) also had somewhat of the same reaction that I had. I wasn't sure how they know about our Rider sides... or at least that's what I thought before they just laugh and sat down next to me.

???: Ahahaha! Oh come on, I don't bite. I just wanted to get to see you for the first time.

Carter: *confused yet nervous tone* Umm... I'm sorry, but do I know you?

???: *shrugs* No and I doubt you would have. My "little sis" usually doesn't talk about me much, but she's a good person regardless.

Marlow: *confused tone* "Little sis?" What do you mean and how do you know about Carter and Hitori's identities as Kamen Riders? The only people who know about it are us, a friend of ours and the members of the royal family in Gwain.

The hooded figure then just giggle for a bit before she dropped the hood to reveal a young but middle aged woman with long gold-ish yellow hair like Gwain and matching eyes, she was wearing very revealing black armor with gold component and a black horn headpiece.

???: Well then, I suppose I was the only member of my family to be kept out of the loop.

The group's jaws as they got a glimpse of the woman... well excluding Hitori. The two of us had no idea of who this person was and why everyone was so shocked.

Alex: *nervous tone* Q-Q-Queen Twain?! This is... unexpected.

Twain: *shrugs* Well yeah, I could have let Arthur know that I was coming but I was busy looking into something on the way here.

Marlow: *curious tone* What exactly could be more important? Did you find something of value?

Twain: *smirks* Funny you should mention that, before I arrived here I was investigating a rumor about an old structure not too far off from Marina Bay. A temple of sorts built to honor one of the Heisei Twenty.

Carter: *surprised tone, thinking* "A temple for a Kamen Rider?"

As she brought up the structure, she then pulled out a map which looked really old.

Twain: Apparently they were said to be built several years before the riders ever arrived and have been a prime target for tome raiders, archeologists and explorers. After hearing that rumor, I headed toward the structure to see if the rumor was true.

Lanney: *confused tone* And... was it?

Twain: *nods* You bet. The thing looks exactly like an ancient temple. I tried to find an entrance to place, but I couldn't seem to find it and when I tried to make one some type of spell it just... deflected my magic away like it was nothing.

Marlow: So the temple was protected?

Twain: Yes and with not much detail on it asides from it being linked to the riders themselves. So I thought the only option would be to find a Kamen Rider and with any luck, find out what was so important about these temple. Which is why I came to find Digits.

Carter: *confused tone* Wait..., how'd you know what I look like?

Twain: I found an old media article posted from an unknown source about you and a boy named Geo. Said that you two stopped one of the more recent attacks by the mysterious rebel. *rolls her eyes* As to how I knew about your identity as Kamen Riders..., that was actually just a guess.

Hitori and I were then dumbfounded. Twain only guess, but still got it right.

Twain: *shrugs* Any who, I was hoping you'd be able to help me. I know this seems out of your field of work, but you do carry knowledge in regards to the Riders themselves.

Deva: *confused tone* Wait, why do you think that the Kamen Riders are the key to accessing this temple?

Twain: *lies back in her seat* When I was at this temple, it seemed to bare strange marks resembling one of the Heisei Riders. Not to mention the statue I found there.

Gang (excluding Alex, Hitori and Twain): What statue?

Twain: *pulls out a photo* "This" statue.

As she passed us the photo, I was surprised at what I was seeing. It was a picture of a statue built in the form of Kamen Rider Drive and it was striking his signature pose.

Carter: *nods* Yep, that's without a doubt Kamen Rider Drive.

Twain: Then perhaps it might have something we can use in there.

Marlow: *confused tone* What do you mean?

Twain: *crosses her arms* I heard about what happened when Another Drive showed up and I saw how you could use the Secondary Ridewatches, but the only possible chance of winning against them is using the Main Ridewatches.

Carter: *confused tone* But where can I find one of them?

Twain: I'm not sure, but that temple might be your best bet.

Marlow: *serious tone* How can you be so sure that a Ridewatch would be in an ancient temple? Especially since we found a Ridewatch from a crate which came off a ship.

Twain: I don't know, but if it's bearing the marks of one of the Kamen Riders especially in regards to the enemy your fighting then it's too big of a lead that can't be ignored.

Carter: *nods* She's right, Marlow. The fact that a temple in Rider origins may sound too good to be true, but right now I can't see another option if we plan on beating Another Drive even with the Chaser Ridewatch. *stands up* When do we leave?

Lanney: *nervous tone* W-W-Wait! I understand you're eager to help these people Carter, but I think we're ignoring a crucial detail.

Marlow: *nods* She's right. We can't leave these people just to go exploring a temple while there are Another Riders on the loose. *looks at Hitori* That being said, it's not a terrible idea since there are two riders present.

Twain: *claps her hands together* Then we split up into two teams. One team keeps an eye on the Another Riders here and try and stop them if necessary while the other explores the temple and see if we can find anything to help you.

Carter: *nods* I think that's a great idea. *realization* Wait... who should go with who?

Twain: I can handle that part. Since I'm the main explorer in this group, I will be going to the temple and since Alex is acting mayor he'll stay here. As for who stays and goes, that's up to you and your group.

Carter: *brave tone* In that case, I'll go with you. Hitori can stay behind and help keep the people safe.

Hitori: *thumbs up*

Marlow: *stands up* I'm coming with you. If this temple "is" something of Teora's history, the least I can do is check it out for myself.

Deva: *looks at Hitori* I'll... stay behind and help out Hitori.

Carter: *looks at Deva, curious tone* You sure, Deva? I mean you could come with us.

Deva: *rolls her eyes* Yeah, I know. As much as would want to go temple hunting, I think the action would likely be right here. Besides... I kinda.. owe him a favor for saving my life.

Carter: *nods* That sounds fair. *looks at Lanney* What about you, Lanney? Do you wanna stay here in Marina Bay or come with us to explore that temple?

Lanney: *nervous tone* I... I don't know. *looks at Carter* Maybe... maybe I could go with you? I-If that's alright with you?

Carter: *pats Lanney on the shoulder* It is. You don't have to worry about asking me.

Twain: Then it's settle.

After that, we split up into our groups so that we could hold down the fort on two fronts. As the three of us followed Twain in the direction she claims to be the temple. We traversed through the deep woods around the city to try and find it alongside her. I believe that we would find it with her help and thankfully we did... and let me just say is that it's on of the most surprising sight for me to ever see in my life.

Twain: *closes the map* Alright, we're here. Now then, first things first. We need to find the entrance.

We then began to split up in order to find the entrance, but just as Twain said before we could find it ourselves... or at least that's what I would have said. After exploring around the base of the temple on the right side, I found what appeared to be slot on the wall which appeared to in a similar shape to that of the slots on my driver.

As I was wondering what this slot was doing there, the Chaser Ridewatch then began to glow. I wasn't why it was doing that, it was the second time that it was doing it. I knew that it meant something, almost as it was telling me to put it in the slot. I then attached the Chaser Ridewatch into the slot... nothing happened. I thought I did something wrong, but then I tried spinning the dial and pushing the button on it.

At that moment, the energy from the Ridewatch spread throughout the temple from the slot on the wall. After the light subsided, the walls besides the slot then began to shift and side to reveal an entrance.

Carter: *shouting* Hey guys, I found the entrance.

The other soon got to my side of the temple as they were kind of surprised and also confused on how I found the entrance. Thankfully for them and me, I had an answer as I took the Chaser Ridewatch off the wall.

Carter: It started after I found a slot on the temple walls, next thing I know the Chaser Ridewatch was glowing. Then I had the strange idea to insert it into the slot, it did nothing at first but then I spun the dial and pushed the button and then the entire temple lit up and this passage opened up.

Twain: Hmm... Perhaps it might have some connection to the temple itself. After all, Chaser was one of Drive's allies.

I was about to say that it wasn't completely true as Chase was technically an enemy to Drive... at least at first. Regardless I held my tongue as we proceeded to enter the temple. Yet another thing to surprise by was the temple interior. While old and covered in overgrowth on the outside, on the inside it didn't show any sign of... well "being old." No dust, no cobwebs, no broken pieces or debris. Nothing to signify the signs of age.

As we went deeper into the temple's interior, I noticed something strange about the statues we passed. They weren't just statues of Kamen Rider Drive or any of his allies. In fact, quite the opposite. They were life-like statues of his very enemy, The Roidmude and there was a lot of Blank ones.

I wasn't sure why there were so many of them, but it didn't put me at ease but in truth everyone else was having a great time. Twain and Marlow were looking around at the interior, surprised at what history was hidden within these walls. Lanney was also enjoying the scenery around us which meant I was the only one concerned about our surroundings. Then we ended up getting into a large area of the temple full of these Roidmude statues.

Twain: *looks at the Roidmude statues, excited tone* Facinating. It appears that these statues seemed to be plastered around this temple. *curious tone* But what do they have to do with Drive?

Carter: They're Drive's "true" enemies, Mechanical Life Forms or as they are formally know as Roidmudes.

Marlow: *confused tone* Wait, how do you know that?

Carter: If your exposed to enough knowledge to the Kamen Riders themselves, you tend to figure out a lot.

While Twain and Marlow were busy thinking about the Roidmudes, both me and Lanney were more focused on what could be inside this temple that could help us defeat Another Drive. We then found a locked door with the same slot as the one on the outside.

Once again, I did the same trick with the Chaser Ridewatch by inserting it into the slot. The energy once again flows all the way throughout the temple and opening a door in the chamber... or at least that's what I thought. As I pulled the Ridewatch out of the slot, I then heard a scream from Lanney.

Carter: *concerned tone* What's wrong, Lanney?

Her only response was just stuttering as she pointed at the statues of the Roidmude, only they were now moving and attack Marlow and Twain.

Marlow: *grunting as she was fighting the statues* What in the name of Teora is going on here?!

Twain: *draws her sword* I don't know! These statues started moving on there own.

Carter: *shouts* It's got be some kind of defense mechanism for the temple! It's probably trying to stop us from reaching the center.

Marlow: In that case,... *spin-kicks one of the statues* We'll have to split up. I'll hold the line here, the four of you continue on.

Lanney: *concerned tone* But Miss Marlow-?!

Marlow: *kicks down a statue, serious tone* There is no time! Just go!

While we were a bit hesitant in leaving Marlow behind, it was either that or be swarmed by the statues themselves. I sighed before shouting "We'll comeback for you!" and leaving Marlow, leading the way with Queen Gwain and Lanney deeper into the temple. The next room we found was as large as an area which gave us a little bit of caution when we walked inside. The thing we noticed almost immediately was that there was a pair of statues. This time however, they were statues of Heart and Brain in their Roidmude forms.

Carter: *confused tone* Why exactly would an area within an ancient temple?

Twain: Hmm... I'm not sure myself. Like I said, the rumors that I've heard about the temple said that they were built several years before the Heisei Twenty arrived. Some of the other rumors surrounding it's construction even made claims that they were gods coming to wage war against the Another Riders.

Carter: I wouldn't say that's true about them since none of them actual fit the description of a god... *concerned tone* Well... all but one.

Lanney: *confused tone* What do you mean?

Carter: Are any of you familiar with the tenth member of the Heisei Twenty?

Twain: *curious tone* Decade? Only partly. Most of the texts about him were either lost or destroyed. The ones that remain only explain him as sort of a traveler, some could say that he could even travel to different world of his own free will.

Carter: Actually that's true. Decade can Dimensional walls to traverse across the multiverse as well as travel through time, but his true power is completely unknown to me. And his powers have earned him two distinctive names. "The Passing-through Kamen Rider and... *sighs* The Destroyer of Worlds."

Lanney and Twain: *shocked tone* What?!

Carter: Yeah. I was pretty shocked when I heard about it. At first I assumed it was someone pulling a prank, but when I found out I was pretty shocked myself. Though compared to his true fate, I would say that it feels like a neutral-good ending.

Twain: How so?

Carter: Well... The riders themselves have their own story to follow as it's their journey. Decade "doesn't" truly have one. That's why he's always traveling to other worlds, to find a world for him to call his own.

Lanney: Did he ever find one?

Before I could answer her, I noticed a pair of figures rushing toward us and one of them leaped at Lanney. In a quick reaction, I pushed her aside and drew my Jikan Crosser in a movement to block the attacker but when the figure managed to hit me I felt an extremely powerful force run through my body before I was sent flying back into a wall. I had a couple broken bones and I was coughing up a bit of blood but otherwise I was fine.

Lanney: *concerned tone* Carter! Are you alright?!

Carter: *grunts* I've been better. Ugh! What was that?

Twain: *serious tone* I think you should be asking "Them" that question.

As the two of us turned in the direction that Twain was facing as my eyes widened with surprise to the two figures.

Lanney: *surprised tone* I've... I've never seen these two Riders before. Who are they and what are they doing here?

Carter: Kamen Rider Heart and Brain. Two Roidmudes who ended up becoming Riders and if I had to take a guess, they're the ones guarding the way to the temple heart.

Twain: *drew her sword and smirks* Well then, perhaps we could see if they can let us through.

In response to that, Twain launched herself at Heart as her sword clashed with his fists while I was left to protect Lanney while fighting Brain. Now this was somewhat a conflicting fight. While my hydrokinetic abilities and creating water out of thin air gave me a pretty good advantage but Brain's poison hands carries 999 toxicants and most likely most of them are water-proof so I had to do my best not to let his attacks touch us while forcing him to use his Brain Megane Blade to avoid any poison damage.

As we were trying to defeat Heart and Brain, I could hear the sound of a large army of Roidmude statues headed our way with Marlow trying to run away from them.

Carter: *nervous tone* Not good.

Lanney: *shocked tone* There's too many of them!

Twain: No way we can fight all of them and these two as well.

Marlow: *shouting* We don't have to. We just need to slow them down!

Without a second thought, Marlow literally struck the frame of the entrance of the area, causing it to collapse and leave the Roidmude statues trapped behind us. Fortunately the sound of falling debris managed to grab their attention long enough to give me and Twain an opening to counter attack.

I quickly manage to catch Brain off-guard with a quick yet powerful slash which pushed Brain back while Twain used her sword to slash at Heart before sending him flying right at Brain before knocking them both down.

Carter: Now's our chance! Let's end this!

With that, Twain took a finisher stance while I equipped the Cross-Z Ridewatch into the Jikan Crosser.

Finish Time!

I then began to tighten the grip of my sword while Twain and Marlow tag-teamed Heart and Brain. With their power and speed, the two Roidmudes were now on the defensive trying to find a way to counter them. Unfortunately they never got the chance as Marlow unleashed a flurry of kicks as Twain sent them flying into the air with a powerful swing of her sword before I pushed the trigger on the Jikan Crosser.

Cross-Z! Million Muscle Slash!

With that sound, I let loose a powerful fire sword-beam at the duo as it clashed at them causing them to explode. We then saw that all that was left of the two were a pair of small cars.

Twain: *curious tone* Hmm. This isn't what I was expecting.

Marlow: *confused tone* What does this have to do with the temple itself?

Carter: Those are Viral Cores. It's basically creates their new bodies, their physical ones anyway. Though I'm not sure why there weren't any Cores, unless they were Plain Roidmudes but that doesn't make any sense since it was Heart and Brain's body.

Lanney: *surprised tone* It's still amazing that you manage to take down a pair of Riders like they were nothing.

Marlow: *nods* I'd agree, but right now we have to get out of here. It won't be long before those Roidmude statues break through the rubble.

Twain: *nods* Right, so where do we start?

Carter: *confused tone* I don't know... Maybe it has something to do with the Viral Cores we got.

It was a race against time as the rubble started falling loose as we heard the sound of Roidmude statues pounding the debris while we tried to figure out this puzzle. Luckily we managed to find some clues to the answer.

The Viral Cores that we found had etched-in marks on them of a heart and a brain on them so that it had something to do with the statues we saw when we entered, but the problem was that we didn't know what purpose it served.

Our next clue pointed us towards the statues of Heart and Brain..., which made sense since they were the ones we encountered after the Blank Roidmude statues but we weren't sure how we would uses them to find a way out.

Lanney: *confused tone* What do the Viral Cores have anything to do with the statues?

Twain: Maybe the statues have something that can open a pathway deeper in?

Carter: Yeah that would make sense, but there's one thing we don't know... What "exactly" are we looking for?

Marlow: Something out of the ordinary which could function with what we found. A slot to put them in if I'm correct.

Carter: *curious tone* Like the Shift Landing Panel in the Shift Brace?

Marlow: *nods* Yes, but where would they even put something like that?

That was a good point to be sure. A Shift Landing Panel would be a good idea to use for the Viral Cores since they do share similarities to Shift Cars, but as Marlow said, where would they put a panel like that on a pair of statues? We quickly began looking for anything that the statues possessed that could open a path for us. It was pretty difficult, but eventually I found something out of the ordinary with the statue of Heart. Within it's literal stone heart, there was exactly what I thought, the landing panel.

I then took the Viral Core we got from Heart and I slot it into the panel. In response, the statue's heart began to glow a bright red as statue started to move towards what looked like an entry way.

Twain: *surprised tone* What did you do?

Carter: *climbs down* I found a panel in Heart's... heart, so I used the Viral Core from Heart on it and it began moving it on it's own.

Marlow: *curious tone* Hmm... so your saying that it was the statue's heart that activated it for that one. *looks at the other Viral Core and then at the Brain Statue* I think I might have figured it out. Carter, do you think you can create a set of water pillars for me to walk on?

Carter: *nods* You got it. One water walkway coming up!

With a quick deep breath and a twist of my wrist, I concentrated and slammed my palms into ground with magic coursing through my body as I created two large pillars of water. In response, Marlow literally leaped into action as she began jumping up each pillars until she was inside the Brain statue's head as it began glowing green as it began moving until it became a mirrored position of Heart's. After it finished, the large stone wall under the statues' hands began to move upward and revealed a path deeper in the temple.

Lanney: It worked! It's revealed a path.

At the exact same time, the debris gave way revealing almost twenty thousand Roidmude statues literally marching towards us.

Twain: *shocked tone* And not a minute to soon!

Carter: Well I suppose there's nothing left for us to stand around here, leg it!

Without another word, we raced down the path that had opened to us with Marlow literally giving us a quick head start thanks to her agility. We were hard pressed to keep pace with her and try not to get overwhelmed by the large army of Roidmude. Though to our surprise, we didn't have to worry about them for long. When we were almost out of the path we raced down, they just... stopped. They became motionless and then fell to pieces.

After we exited to the center of the temple, we then saw an larger statue of Kamen Rider Drive but still intact. What's more there was a pedestal siting right in front the statue and what was siting on it... was a delight for us to see.

Carter: *suprised tone* The Drive Ridewatch! We found it.

Twain: *nods* I'll say and considering that it's just sitting there in this room... *picks up some debris* Which makes it the perfect location to set up traps.

Carter: *confused tone* What do you mean?

In response, Twain chucked the debris onto the floor as it sprouted spikes and slammed in on the rock. This made all of us except Twain dumbfounded as the floor returned to normal.

Twain: *surprised tone* Huh, it's just as I thought. Even at the end, they wouldn't make it easy for us.

Lanney: *scared tone* So we now have to deal with traps?

Twain: Well yeah. It wouldn't be a temple unless it has quite a bit of booby traps. Right?

Marlow: *sighes* The ironic thing is that, she isn't wrong.

Carter: *confused tone* Is there a way to get around them?

Twain: *looks at the floor* I'm not sure there there is a way around. Take a look at the floor.

We did so and to our surprise, the floor had various different tiles on the floor. Each with different marks on them in the shapes of roads. The one that was activated by the debris was in the shape of an L-curve.

Marlow: *confused tone* Hmm... So there's meant to be a road for us to follow, but the tiles are all scrambled up.

She was right in a sense. The tiles did show a path like a road, but the problem was that none of the tiles would show us a path... in a normal way. We soon noticed that there was "some" semblance of a path and with no other way around, I took a leap of faith and landed on a straight tile... nothing happened.

Twain: *smirks* Looks like you got a lucky tile. Think you can pull it off again?

Carter: *shrugs* I don't know. I just guessed the tile and got lucky on that jump.

Though I was honestly surprised, I was sure that I'd get crushed or trigger another trap. Then I noticed rays of light shining down on three other tiles while a couple tiles adjusted into a straight line across to one of them.

Marlow: *confused tone* What's going on?

Twain: Hmm... I'm not quite sure, but it seems that whatever it did it seems to activate some type of mechanism. Almost like it "wants" us to step on them.

With little options at the moment, Twain, Marlow and Lanney jumped on the light-shown tiles. In response, the tiles once again began shifting until the very floor began to show the Drive symbol on the floor before energy raced through the floor to the statue. The pedestal then moved towards us before stopping right in front of Marlow as the lights disappeared.

Marlow: So this puzzle was actually a mechanism for us to acquire the watch. Seems kind of simple for something as powerful of a Ridewatch.

Carter: Well at least we can now say that we've been temple spelunking, but now we can get out of here and take down Another Drive.

Before we could do so, we then heard the sound of slow-clapping at the way we came in. The clapping came from an adult Teoran with silver hair and eyes in a business suit.

???: Well, well, well... It seems that you were able to find the temple. Though I suppose that it isn't all surprising since you had the greatest explorer from the Dominion of Twain.

Twain: *smirks* Well it's it good to see you too, "Artie." You're looking pretty good for the fact that you left.

Lanney: *curious tone* "Artie?"

???: "Arthur" actually, Arthur Marine'ucard. I never did prefer that little nickname of yours, but that's not why I'm here. I'm here to talk business and I believe that you have something that I want. So I'll make it simple, you four can hand over that little trinket for a start.

Lanney: *shocked tone* What?! B-but we need this!

Twain: Exactly, last I checked this watch is key to helping you deal with your Another Rider problem and having an Another Rider messing up your business.

Arthur: "Messing up my business," you say? *evil laugh* Oh you are so mistaken, my dear. While my partnership with Moon Tech was beneficial to me as the mayor, however much like any good business men I am thinking bigger.

That wasn't the end of it, as he reached behind his back as he pulled out a black and violet Ridewatch. I knew that was no ordinary Ridewatch.

Also as he snapped his finger as Another Chaser appeared with a seriously beaten Hitori and Deva. Arthur then pushed the button on the watch and then pressed it against his chest as he transformed into Another Drive.

Drive!

Another Drive: *sinister tone* Now then... lets talk business.

Next Time on Mirai Gwain Riders!

Arthur: I can't just simply let you walk away with that, no can I?

Carter: *anger tone* Why are you doing this? Are these your people?!

Start your Engine!

Carter and Hitori: *serious tone* Chou Build Up!/ Shadow Rise!

Hey guys, It's me Bravekabuto58.... Yeah, I'm still alive despite the whole pandemic going around. So I know I said that I was going work on one of my other stories, but after Gwain Saga 008 dropped I felt it reignite my will to keep this story going.
