Enter the Queen, Fire and Fury!

(Third-Person P.O.V)

As the trio enter the grounds inside the gate, Carter and Geo were surprised to see a massive castle. As for Ami herself, she was busy trying to make sure the group and her remained out of sight. As the group progressed further into the castle, Carter and Geo were quite amazed by the castles interior as it wasn't anything like the castles back home.

Carter: So... you live her in this castle, Ami?

She nods in response to Carter's question which peeked Carter's interest. The fact that she lived within the walls of a castle could mean something, but he wasn't sure at the moment. As they proceeded deeper into the castle walls, Geo then stop before looking at a mirror in the hall. He was looking at his hair as he had notice it had changed from black to white and he wasn't to thrilled. As Carter was following Ami until Carter noticed a trio of figures up above on a higher floor. Carter soon found himself getting a bit of a closer look at them. Two of them appeared to be a pair of royal guards. As for the other one, it appeared to be a women with yellow eyes and long hair which almost reaching the ground. She was wearing a white and grey suit with brass-ish gold rims on her shoulders, wrists, hips and high-heel soles.

Even though he didn't want to do anything else regarding them, Carter soon found himself eavesdropping on their conversation.

???: Queen Gwain, there's still no sign of the princess.

Gwain: Please, keep looking. She must be in the woods.

With that, the guards nodded in response as the soon left in their search. This also left Carter a bit surprised. "Ami? Being a princess?" Though it was a shock for sure, he did remember the fact she live here in this castle which made a bit of sense. As Carter joined back up with Ami and Geo, she lead them further down the hall. Unaware of the fact, they were being watched by a pair of eyes from above.

(Carter's P.O.V)

It took as bit of a while, but soon we found ourselves in a nice bedroom which I assumed to be Ami's. It seemed pretty cozy as I got a look around. As for Ami, the moment she got inside she quickly shut the door and the curtains in the room before taking a small breather before sitting Geo in a chair. It groaned as his weight. I still wasn't sure about this massive change in strength, durability, weight and appearance, but their are a few benefits to these changes.

As I soon looked back towards Ami, she told us with sign language to stay here in the room as she opened the door to see the queen herself stood outside in the hall. Only for Ami to quickly shut the door and then gave us a sign to hide. Fortunately I had some time back home to study from horror movies where and where 'not' to hide in situations like these while Ami tried to find a spot for Geo to hide.

As for myself, I knew that in this case the closet, while an obvious choice to hide wouldn't do me much good so the only thing to do was the most obvious... Hide under the bed! With the reflexes of high-sprung cat, I quickly ducked straight under the bed frame while Ami from what I heard found Geo's 'perfect' hiding spot. As I briefly looked out toward the door, Ami had already opened it, trying to play it off cool and not give it away that two complete strangers were hiding in her room...

It didn't work as Gwain soon enter the room as she began looking around while chatting with her daughter.

Gwain: Hi, Ami. I just came by to check on you and now the whole castle is looking for you. And also... to ask you...

I held my breath as Gwain calmly walked over to the closet and then casually lean against it. I wasn't sure where Ami had hidden Geo, but I was sure that she probably hid him in the closet. I was afraid that she had found him and was about to expose him and me... She did find Geo, but it wasn't what I had expected.

Gwain: What's this boy doing in your room?

I wasn't sure how she found him until I briefly looked at the ground beside them both... it was a lamp shade... Ami had tried to pass Geo off as a lamp. While part of me was kind of hoping he was in the closet, I knew that Geo's black shoes were kind of a dead giveaway. Fortunately for me, she had yet to notice that I was here as well, but I couldn't just leave Geo hanging and Ami would be chew'd out by her mom if she knew Ami brought two strangers home... I wasn't sure what to do at the moment.

I soon heard a little bit of a nervous "Teehee" from Ami as well as a little cute noise from Ami, but as for Gwain she wasn't in the mood for games.

Gwain: *serious tone* Don't you "Teehee" me! You'd never brought a stranger into the castle before. Now tell me why he's here. And I want you to tell me the truth.

Carter: She was only trying to repay us for saving her.

That was what I said as I had chosen to reveal my cover to them. All eyes soon fell on me as I slid out from under Ami's bed. I knew I would get in trouble for this, but the fact I could enable the right thing.

Gwain: *crosses her arms* How long were you down there?

Carter: Just a minute or two.

Gwain: Did you see anything you weren't suppose to?

Carter: No, ma'am.

After that she seemed slightly annoyed that there were two strangers in her castle, but when she asked for an explanation as to we were here I gave her as much of the truth as I could excluding revealing the part about me becoming a Kamen Rider. I wasn't sure how she would react or if she even knew anything about Kamen Riders.

Gwain: So let me get this straight. You two save Ami from a pack of wolves after she got lost and met you both and that's the reason she brought you here?

Carter: That would be hitting the nail on the head, your Majesty.

Gwain: Well in that case, thank you both. However there is something odd about your friend here. *teleports in front of Geo* Why is his hair white?

Ami on one hand was actual kind of curious while I wasn't sure myself. I've only been here for only a couple of hours and even I'm not sure about the history behind that. Fortunately Gwain gave up before finding an answer.

Gwain: So tell me. What are your names?

Carter: Huh? *realization* Oh right, my name is Carter and my friend beside me is named Geo.

Gwain: Geo? That's a weird name.

I wasn't about to argue with her, mostly since as a Queen she's likely have the authority to toss both of us out if we pushed her. I was kinda curious as to why Gwain was curious about Geo's hair when we heard a cute little bark from right behind us. The source came from a little white creature sitting on a table. It just stared at the two of us as Ami walked over and picked it up while Gwain went off to tell the maid to prepare a guest room. Which made sense since it was pretty late, but in truth I was a little focused on the fact Ami had placed her pet atop Geo's head as it lightly tapped him.

When we got to our guest room, I was kind of surprised how roomy it was. I was going to ask Geo about him, but unfortunately I was down on my luck as he had already fall asleep. Again it made sense, fighting a pack of wolves which shot balls of energy from their mouths would likely tire someone out or make them feel batter and bruised... or in my case dead. As I laid my driver and Ridewatch on a nightstand nearby the bed, I started to think back to why I was chosen to become a Kamen Rider in the first place once again. These thoughts kept wrestling around in my head for a while, but soon I got tired of it and went to sleep.

As morning soon came I noticed that Geo was still asleep, keen on me not to awaken him I carefully shifted my weight so I didn't wake him up. I had already changed into my new clothes which I got recently from Unknown. While I didn't wake Geo, we did receive a warm welcome from Ami in her casual wear.

Carter: *surprised tone* Oh. Good morning, Ami.

She seemed quite happy to see us while Geo seemed a little tired, but soon enough we managed get going. Ami gave Geo a new hoodie, but sadly for Ami she didn't expect Geo's jacket to be heavy. Fortunately we didn't have to worry about that for too long as we soon found ourselves headed to get some breakfast at the Great Hall and lets just say... it looked less like breakfast and more like an all-you-can-eat buffet. I felt intimidated by the large spread across the table while me and Geo sat across from Ami and Gwain.

Carter: *surprised tone* Wow, this is... quite spread you have here, Your Majesty.

Gwain: Help yourselves. Consider it my gratitude for saving Ami.

Carter: Really? *stands up and bows* Thank you so much.

As I sat down, I began wondering what I should eat first. They definitely gave me a lot to work with. Pancakes, waffles, omelets, bread and etc. I wasn't sure where to start, but I soon found myself with a stack of pancakes with a little bit of butter.

I took my time working down the stack, but as I was doing so something didn't feel right. At first, I thought it was just indigestion, but then I soon noticed... Gwain hadn't taken her eyes off Geo since we sat down for breakfast and she still had that cautious look in her eyes. I was a little worried to see this, but hopefully things would smooth out I mean it is early in the morning.

Sadly my instincts were quite wrong as without warning, an energy sphere was shot directly at Geo and what shocked me was that the one who threw the sphere was Gwain. I was about to double check if Geo was alright, but I was soon interrupted by Gwain.

Gwain: *stern tone* Guards, take the princess and her other guest up to her chamber and protect them at all cost. They must not be allowed to get out.

Carter: *shockly confused tone* Wait, what do you mean?! What's going on?!

Gwain: We've got an intruder.

I was about to ask about that when a pair of guards grabbed me and lifted me out of my chair as I was being carried alongside Ami as Gwain vanished into thin air. As we were being carried to Ami's chambers or her room if I had to guess, I was still trying to figure out why Gwain attacked Geo like that. What also made me worry was what would happen to Geo with her current pace.

When we were brought to Ami's room, they shoved us inside as four guards stood outside the door and a few others inside. As I turned to ask Ami what she knew, I quickly stopped myself from doing so as the look on her face told me she was just as confused as me.

Carter: *looks at the exit* We have to get out of here. *turns towards Ami* Do you have any idea that could-.

Before I could finish, Ami took off her headband before transforming it into it's bow form and then letting lose a few energy arrows and hitting each of her targets as they collapsed to the floor. My jaw dropped to the floor as I saw every one around us, not dead but asleep. I knew that because some how I could notice that they had a status effect on them... somehow.

Carter: *looks back to Ami* This... isn't your first time being placed under lockdown, isn't it.

Ami shook her head as she put her headband back on as we raced off trying to find Gwain and Geo, fortunately once we got outside Ami had already spotted them both as I faintly saw her lob Geo into the ground. Without another word, we rushed as fast as we could towards Geo's crash point and when we got there I soon stopped in my track as I could see Gwain looking down at Geo as I could her voice speak with the stern ton of a powerful military commander.

Gwain: I won't let another human escape, not this time.

Without another word, she let loose a slim beam of light from her finger tips as she struck Geo right in the chest. As I gasped, I soon noticed something that terrified me. I could somehow see Geo's life and it was steadily decreasing. I didn't want to fight her, but with Geo's life on the line I knew that I had to stop her. Before I could grab my Ridewatch and belt, Gwain stopped her attack. The reason why is that Ami had gotten in front of Geo.

Gwain: How come she always manage to get past security?

Once again, before I could say a word Gwain disappeared again only this time she reappeared in front of Ami. I then thought about how Gwain was able to disappear and reappear at will..., she must have the ability to teleport. Anyway I soon noticed that Gwain and Ami were having an argument regarding Geo. I could take a guess why... sort of.

After a while, they seemed to be in agreement and I breathed a sigh of relief as Ami picked up an unconscious Geo but my relief soon turned to a little bit of fear as I could feel the sight of someone behind my back. Unfortunately I knew who was.

Gwain: *sighs* I suppose that since Ami was able to escape, so were you. Well... at least we were able to deal with the intruder.

Before she managed to start walking away, I then walked up in front of her. She didn't seem fazed by me, but she knew that I meant business.

Carter: Why did you attack Geo?!

Gwain: *stern tone* That isn't your concern, but since you and Ami managed to escape you won't mind explaining how you two escaped?

I knew that she wouldn't budge by the look on the face, but I didn't want to reveal Ami's secret in case we would ever need it. Both fortunately and unfortunately for us, an explosion drew our attention away from each other as a flaming and injured guard crashed into the ground beside us.

Guard: *coughs* Your... Majesty.

Gwain: *shocked tone* What happened? Why aren't you protecting the castle?!

Guard: *weakly* I was..., but... *grips his side in pain* we were surprised attacked... by one of "them."

Gwain: What do you mean? Those things haven't even made a single attempt to attack here ever since they first appeared. Why would they attack now?

Guard: *weakly* I don't know... *coughs*, but what I do know is that... *winces in pain* we have every single guard we here trying to fight that "thing", but we're barely slowing it down.

Gwain: *nods* Alright. You've done your part, for now. *turns towards me* I'll deal with you later. Right now, my people need my help. Get this guard to safety. I'll return when I've dealt with that thing.

As she briefly looked at us, she then teleported away. I knew she was very strong especially she was able to knock Geo around like a bag of crackers. As I slung the guard over my shoulder, he tried to make an attempt to move of me, only as he winces in pain.

Guard: N-no! You must let me...!

Carter: Easy there! You're pretty banged up after... whatever it was that attack you. I need get you out of here.

Guard: You don't understand! Our weapon... Our abilities... They were completely useless against that monster! If my suspicions are correct, I doubt even the queen can defeat that thing.

Carter: *shocked tone* What are you saying?

Guard: If her majesty is to stand any chance of survival, you need to help her.

Carter: *shocked tone* Me?! Are... Are you sure that I'm the boy for the job? I mean... How do you think that I could do any damage against... whatever you guys are fighting.

Guard: *winces in pain* I know... because I know about these creatures. Old legends... which date back as far as to the founding of this kingdom. These monsters are... dark reflections of the heroes who once fought alongside Queen Wain.

That's where he completely lost me, Kamen Riders fighting alongside Teorans? That doesn't even make a lick of sense. Kamen Riders hail from our world on Earth, so how could Kamen Riders have existed here in this world? Before I could even as about that, the guard then reached into a small pocket in his armor. As he struggled to pull out whatever it was in there, I could see a bright orange dial as he pulled a Ridewatch of a familiar rider.

Guard: The monster that attacked the castle... It looked almost like... this. When I found this... *winces in pain, weakly tone* I thought I could use it's power to... to...

Carter: Hey, hey! Stay with me here! We can talk about this later.

Guard: *panting, weakly tone* No! Listen... to me. I know that the heroes who once fought beside us... have returned to us... and that you know where they are. *weakly gives the watch to Carter* Take this.. to them. Perhaps they can... succeed... where we have... fail...

With that, the guard passed out from his injuries. I was surprised to find that he had a Ridewatch in his possession and he was looking for the me and other Riders, but that was the last thing I wanted to know right now. As I carried the wounded guard to safety, I soon met up with a small party of guards alongside Ami. They helped me take the wounded guard I was carrying to safety, but as I turned back towards the castle as smoke rises from it only for me to start thinking about Gwain.

At first I was upset at the fact that she attacked Geo and didn't give a clear reason behind it. Then... I thought she only did it because of her status. As much as I didn't want to admit it, as a Queen she doesn't have to tell us anything unless she wanted to and truth be told she "was" doing her duty of protecting her people which in a sense... also meant me too.

Without another word, I quickly raced back towards the castle in a sense charging into battle. As I reached the gate, there were blue fires spread throughout the castle grounds. To do my best at suppressing the flames, I tried using my new powers to put out as many as I could before Queen Gwain was literally thrown to the ground, battered and bruised with a little bit of blood dripping from her mouth.

As I raced over to help her, I soon heard footsteps coming from the steps of the castle. As I turned to face the unknown enemy. Sadly as I got a look at the monster, it was just like before. Gwain was fighting against an Another Rider... and one which made a mockery of one of a strong Kamen Rider.

Another Cross-Z: This land... This kingdom... I'll burn it to the ground!

Gwain: *serious tone* I won't let you!

As Gwain tried to bring herself to her feet as Another Cross-Z then charges at her to try and kill her, fortunately her teleportation seemed to give her a little advantage against them. Unfortunately, Another Cross-Z seemed to be much stronger when they landed a punch to Gwain's stomach which made her fall to her knees before coughing up a bit of blood.

Another Cross-Z: *scoffs* Is that it the best of the mighty queen of Gwain can do? I am sorely disappointed.

As they started to walk toward Gwain, I saw how Gwain was barely standing after that single punch. She was clenching her stomach as blood dripped off her jaw. She might be able to dodge Another Cross-Z, but taking too many hits like that and she's a goner. As a means to stop them, I hurled a ball of water at Another Cross-Z and it caught their attention.

Gwain: *notices Carter* What are you doing her? You should be getting to safety along with the others!

Carter: I am, but not before I deal with that thing.

Gwain: *groans* You have no idea what you're doing. This monster... they're too strong.

Carter: *pulls out driver* No... They're just a person, using stolen power. As a real Rider, I'll defeat this Another Rider and show you what hides underneath this outer shell.

I then equip my Ziku Driver as I pulled out my Ridewatch before turning the dial and activating it.

*Electronic Beeping* Digits!

I then equipped the watch onto my driver before getting into my transformation pose.

Carter: Henshin! *spins the Driver*

Rider Time (Techno Rhythm) Kamen Rider Di-git-us! Digitus!

As I transformed, I then rushed at Another Cross-Z as I then began letting lose a flurry of punches against them. Though my attacks were pushing them back, but as I was dealing out blows Another Cross-Z hands then ignited with blue flames as they then began a counter-attack with their new flaming hands. Though dodging them wasn't as much of an issue, the heat produced by these flames were making them a lot more dangerous. It's bad enough that there strength could almost one-shot the queen of this land, but those flames were almost hot enough to melt the entire castle.

Sadly I lost focus and then I got hit in the stomach as I was sent flying back. I could still feel the burns on my stomach even with my armor on. I did my best to hold my ground against them, but the burns on my stomach made it harder to focus.

Another Cross-Z: Is all you can do is block? If this is the best you can offer, then I should just end this fight and burn you as well as this land til there's nothing but ashes.

Carter: *groans* No... I won't let you harm anything more than you already have.

As Another Cross-Z got ready to unleash a powerful attack, I quickly pulled out the Cross-Z Ridewatch. I knew that if I were to stand a single chance at enduring and beating the flames of this fiery fighter. I was almost caught off-guard with a intense flaming attack from Another Cross-Z when out of nowhere a yellow ball of energy struck them square in the chest, stunning it for a moment.

Gwain: If you have a plan to beat that thing, I suggest you do it now.

Carter: Roger! *pushes the button on the Ridewatch*

Cross-Z!

I then quickly plugged the Cross-Z Ridewatch on the left slot before preparing to transform. Another Cross-Z tried to unleash a massive wave of fire, but once I spun the belt around a set of armor baring a resemblance to Kamen Rider Cross-Z with the Cross-Z Adapters with the Dragon Fullbottles as shoulder armor appeared to cancel out the flames before breaking apart and combining with my Base Form to create a new one.

Rider Time! (Techno Rhythm) Kamen Rider Di-git-us! Digitus! Armor Time! Wake up Burning! Cross-Z!

I was completely stunned that I was actually able to use other Ridewatches besides my own, but if Zi-O and other riders like them then so can I. As Another Cross-Z began to attack me, this time I could actual fight him without injuring myself with their flame. They tried various different fire techniques to actually do any damage, but thanks to the Cross-Z Arms form they felt less like burns and more like a warm breeze. I then began to counter attack by laying into them with more punches and a few kicks along with a few Parkour attacks and a little bit of my own fire before knocking the wind out to them.

Another Cross-Z: *Grunts* Why?! Why aren't my attacks hurting you?! WHY?! *Charges at Carter*

Carter: *blocks their attack* Isn't it obvious? I told you before, you're just a person using stolen power from a "real" Kamen Rider. You are not Kamen Rider Cross-Z. You're just pretender to the real deal!

I then threw a powerful punch with knocked Another Cross-Z to the ground before getting back onto their feet.

Carter: I'm not going to let a pretender disrespect the name of Kamen Rider by using an Another Rider form! *notices a faint glow from the Cross-Z Ridewatch* Huh?

Out of nowhere, a strange sword appeared from the Cross-Z Ridewatch. It appeared to be a combination of the Beat Crosser and Jikan Girade. Let's call it the Jikan Crosser. Without another word, I leaped forward with my blade and it seemed to do just as much damage or even more then my basic attacks.

Another Cross-Z: *Roars, pulls out Another Beat Crosser* I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED UNTIL THIS COUNTRY BURNS WITH ME!!

Carter: That won't happen as long as I'm around! "I got the feeling I can't lose!" *removes the Cross-Z Ridewatch and places it onto the Jikan Crosser*

Finish Time!

As Another Cross-Z rushed at me with all their might almost even getting me in the stomach as I pulled the trigger on my blade.

Cross-Z! Smash Muscle Slash!

As the blade struck Another Cross-Z, sparks and flames erupted from the blade before I slashed the Another Rider before he was thrown into the air and exploding. When the Another Rider reverted back to their original form, somehow the fires around us had dissipated. When I got a look at the person and what shocked me was that they were... Teoran. They were a teenage boy wearing a black and gold cloak and the most noticeable feature was the symbol on the chest. It looked like a broken Shocker emblem.

Mysterious Teoran: *grunts* I will... not lose to the likes of you! I will be... the one to destroy-!

As he reached for the Another Ridewatch, it sparked briefly before it exploded. After that, the guards soon returned after a while to take the criminal to jail. Gwain appeared a bit injured from her battle against Another Cross-Z, but she acted like she wasn't hurt that much. As for myself, I couldn't say for sure. After I defeated Another Cross-Z, my entire body felt tired as if I could barely stand up.

Gwain: So... I suppose I owe you a debt a gratitude for not only risking your own life for the sake of my people, but also my own life as well. While I am skeptical as to how you were able to beat these monsters on your own, you didn't choose to run away. Now then I do need to ask-.

Before I could hear the rest, my entire body felt overwhelmed and then I started to feel my mind drift away and... I fainted.

(Third-Person P.O.V)

As the young human who became a Teoran began to collapse to the ground, he soon found his body in the hands of the queen herself. Confused, but not completely as she assumed that Carter had only passed out from exhaustion.

Royal Guard: *approaches Gwain and bows) Your Majesty. I have some bad news.

Gwain: What's wrong?

Royal Guard: I'm afraid... the prisoner has sacrificed himself.

Gwain: *stern tone, glares at the guard* Explain.

Royal Guard: As we were escorting the prisoner to his cell, he seemed to be screaming out in pain. By the time we released him, he was nothing more than a pile of ash on the ground. We have yet to determine the reason behind this, but... and this is merely a guess at the moment this was to dispose of any possible leads as to who sent him. Much like the others before we once tried to lock away for interrogation.

Gwain: *sighs* Of course, thank you for that. Continue to monitor the activity of these "Another Riders."

Royal Guard: *bows* Of course, Your Majesty. *notice Carter* And what about the boy?

Gwain: I will deal with him.

As the guard left, Gwain looked upon the young unconscious hero in her arms as she began carrying him to a guest room with two questions dwelling in her mind.

Gwain: *thinking* "Why did these monsters choose now to attack after being so silent for so long?" *Looks at Carter* "And... why do I get the feeling that you are somehow involved in this?"

Next time on Mirai Gwain Riders!

Unknown: You've got big things coming, "Digits." Best be ready!

Gwain: Listen, This is the deal...

Carter: What the Heck is Going on here?!

???: So we have two strong elements from Gwain's Royal Guard. Let's see what you've got.
