Hey everyone! Welcome to MLWattAwards' very first writing contest! Here's how it works:

This writing contest's theme is "fireworks"; you need to incorporate the theme into your one-shot somehow in order for it to be a valid entry.

Word Count: Minimum of words necessary for your entry is 500 words, and maximum is 1000 words. Unable to meet this requirement automatically is a disqualification.

As you write your entry, keep these in mind:

- Good grammar; a lack of this will lead you to few readers and all good writers strive to achieve good grammar.

- Make sure that your plot isn't similar to another entry's; original story line. If there are two that are quite close in comparison, we would have to do a check with the two and frankly, that's a lot of work on everyone's part.

- Appropriate content. Since there are quite a swell of young people in the ML fandom, it is always best to keep a caution. If you want to know a borderline of how "appropriate" your entry can be, feel free to P.M. this account.

It's sort of like submitting for the Wattys, except for your one-shot.

Prize: There is only ONE WINNER chosen for this contest. Whoever is chosen as that weeks winner will earn themselves a shout out by this account, a vote on that one-shot, and a lovely sticker to place on their book cover (an example is the sticker already on this book's cover).
