This.... Can't... Be... True... Ladybug's thoughts ran wild as she saw Adrien walk up to Hawk Moth.

"You...." Hawk Moth gasped as murmurs ran through the crowd, "but... You're..."

"If it's my Miraculous you want, then just take it." Adrien said, "but don't touch Ladybug."

"...Adrien... Join me." Hawk Moth said.

"What?"

"You and me... We can become powerful! With your power of destruction, we can work together, father and son. We can... We can be closer than we've ever been, and we can make up for lost time." Hawk Moth said as he put his hand on Adrien's shoulder, "we can rule the world. Together. You, me, and your... Mother."

"My mother?!" Adrien asked, and Ladybug gasped.

He wants our Miraculouses...so that he could...

"With your Miraculouses' power, I could bring your mother back, and we can live in this world, just the three of us. We can rule over a new nation, and your mother could still be alive." Hawk Moth smiled.

"... But..." Adrien looked up at Ladybug, "what about my friends? What about Ladybug?"

"They'll be erased from the equation. Just the three of us." Hawk Moth said.

"But... I love Ladybug." Adrien looked up at Ladybug, and she just stared at him still in shock, "I don't care who she is under her mask. If she's clumsy or stubborn, I really don't care. Because she's really astounded me, and she's so caring, too. So I would never want to live in a world in which she was never or will never be a part of."

"...Adrien..." Ladybug whispered.

"So just take my Miraculous. But please. For my sake, Father. Don't hurt Ladybug." Adrien held out his ring. Hawk Moth looked at Adrien in shock, then at the ring. He turned to Ladybug, and took out her magic yoyo.

"Fine." Hawk Moth said as he threw her yoyo all the way up to her. Ladybug grabbed it, but as soon as she did, Stoneheart chucked her all the way over Paris.

"Ladybug!!" Adrien yelled and started to run after her. Copycat started to run after him.

"No. Let him go. She had her yoyo." Hawk Moth stopped him as Stoneheart landed next to him, "Key-word, had." Hawk Moth started cackling evilly as Stoneheart opened his hand, and sitting in the palm of his hand were Ladybug's earrings. The rest of the Akumatized villains joined him in cheering that they accomplished their goal and finally obtained Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculouses.

"GAAAAH!!!!!" Marinette screamed as she flew past all the Parisian buildings, "Where's my...?! Oh my gosh! He got my Miraculous!! Tikki!!!"

"Marinette! It's okay! Look!" Tikki said as she pointed to where they were flying towards.

Marinette opened her eyes and gasped when she hit a tent in the park. The tent started collapsing under her weight, and soon, she and Tikki were on the ground panting.

"Ladybug?!" Adrien called, and Marinette gasped.

"Tikki! Hide!" Marinette whispered, and Tikki hid in Marinette's jacket.

"Lady-- Marinette? What are you doing here... On a tent tarp?" Adrien asked as he held out his hand.

"Oh! Me? Uh, n-nothing much... y'know?" Marinette chuckled nervously, "but I heard... YOU'RE CAT NOIR?!?!?!"

"Yeah, haha... That went around pretty quick, huh?" Adrien chuckled, "actually, I'm looking for Ladybug now. Have you seen h--"

"There he is!!" Adrien and Marinette turned to see newsreporters and cameramen running after them.

"We'd better get out of here first!" Marinette said as she grabbed Adrien's hand and pulled him through the streets of Paris until she found the Master's place.

"There!" Adrien shouted and pointed at the same building.

"Yeah, yeah." Marinette responded as she opened the door quickly, pulled Adrien in, and closed the door. They peeked out the window, then let out a sigh of relief when the crowd passed.

"Guess that's what I was worried about if I revealed that I was Cat Noir..." Adrien chuckled nervously.

"So, uh, haha, what are you going to do now?" Marinette asked nervously.

"I don't know..." Adrien sighed, "that bad guy, Hawk Moth, is my father. He threatened to kill Ladybug. And I had to give up my Miraculous for her..." Plagg looked at him sadly, then at Marinette. He gasped when he saw the bulge in Marinette's pocket.

"...Camembert?" Plagg licked his lips.

"Plagg... Not now..." Adrien said, "this is Plagg, by the way. He's a Kwami, the guy who gives me the powers."

"Nice to meet you, Plagg." Marinette chuckled.

"Anyways, he wants our Miraculouses, because he said its power can bring my mother back." Adrien looked at the floor, "but this is Hawk Moth. He wants to kill everyone in the city, so that my mother could live. So now, I'm torn... I don't even know where Ladybug is..."

"Can I help you..." The Master walked out with Wayzz following him, but they stopped in their tracks when they saw Marinette and Adrien, "is everything okay? Do you two know each other's iden--"

"No!" Marinette yelled immediately, startling Adrien a little. Adrien looked at the Master, and Marinette started shaking her head, pointing at Adrien, and pointing at herself behind Adrien's back.

"Ah..." Master nodded in understanding.

"I had to reveal my identity in order to save Ladybug's life." Adrien sighed, "but I don't even know where she is or if she's okay."

"Oh, she's fine, I'm certain." Master smiled, and Marinette nodded and held two thumbs up.

"Okay, well, Master, this is Marinette, a friend from my class. Marinette, this is the Master. He's the one that gave me my Miraculous." Adrien introduced them.

"Pleasure to meet you, Sir." Marinette smiled.

"You too, Young Lady." Master smiled and nodded in acknowledgment, "so you don't have your Miraculous?"

"No." Adrien answered as he gestured Marinette to follow him, "but I still have this."

Master turned and saw Adrien had his hand out, and in the palm of his hand was the pin of the peacock.

"You've got it! Good, Young Man. We can--"

But he never got to finish his sentence, because there was a loud crash outside. The three ran out and saw dark clouds forming in the sky.

"We need to go check that out." Marinette said.

"Wow, look at you, taking leadership." Adrien smirked, "kind of like--"

"Let's just go." Marinette said quickly, and the three of them ran and hid behind a nearby building, just at the border of the Eiffel Tower's area. They saw the Akumatized villains rounding up the people there and messing around as if the area was their playground. And at the center of it all was Hawk Moth. He held up the ring and the earrings in both hands.

"He got Ladybug's Miraculous too?!" Adrien gasped, "wait, but that means that when he threw her... Is she...?!"

"Adrien, I'm sure she's okay..." Marinette reassured him.

Adrien looked back at Marinette and smiled.

"Thanks." Adrien put his hand on her shoulder.

"...Camembert..." Plagg whispered as he eyed Marinette's jacket pocket. He couldn't resist, and so he flew out and opened Marinette's jacket pocket.

"Hey! Plagg!" Adrien said when he saw his Kwami fly out and into Marinette's pocket.

"Oh no!" Marinette gasped as Plagg jumped out.

"Gah! What is it?!" Plagg shrieked, "that's definitely NOT Camembert..."

"Oh no..." Master whispered to Wayzz as they watched Marinette's problem unfold.

"Ow! What was that fo--" Tikki squealed as she popped her head out of Marinette's pocket, but she immediately froze when she saw Marinette, Adrien, Plagg, Master, and Wayzz staring at her.

"Marinette... Is that what I think it is?" Adrien asked.

"Probably not..." Marinette chuckled as she shoved Tikki back into her pocket.

"Are you--"

Before Adrien could say anything else, there was a loud lightning crash, and Hawk Moth rose up higher as his butterflies flew around him.

"I summon the power de la coccinelle et le chat noir! La bague du chat noir et les boucles d'oreilles de la coccinelle..." Hawk Moth recited the French ritual.

"Oh boy... He's reciting the ritual! He's summoning for the earrings' and the ring's power to combine... He'll have power over all other Miraculouses, and over everyone..." Master gasped.

"I summon your power!!" Hawk Moth yelled, and two lightning bolts came down and struck Hawk Moth. One was black, one was red. They got absorbed into the earrings and the ring that Hawk Moth held. The energy was then absorbed into Hawk Moth himself, and soon, it was over.

"This can't be good..." Adrien muttered. Suddenly, Plagg started being pulled towards him, "Plagg!!" Adrien yelled and grabbed his Kwami.

"I'm getting absorbed!! Help!!!" Plagg yelled, but the energy was too strong.

"Marinette!!" Marinette looked down at her pocket and saw that the same thing was happening to Tikki.

"Tikki!" Marinette cried as she grabbed her Kwami and held onto her. Adrien looked at Tikki, then at Marinette.

They couldn't hold on much longer, and Tikki and Plagg were absorbed into Hawk Moth's Miraculous.

"Ah... Power... Is mine..." Hawk Moth sighed, "now, my first task..."

"Marinette..." Adrien looked down at Marinette, who had fallen to her knees and started crying.

"Tikki..." Marinette looked up at Hawk Moth as Adrien wrapped his arms around her.

"Awaken..." Hawk Moth held out his hands, eyes closed, and his Miraculous, his brooch, started glowing, "Mélanie Agreste!!"

Adrien gasped as Hawk Moth shot purple, black, and red bolts at the ground.

"Mélanie... Agreste?!" Marinette gasped as she looked up at Adrien. He didn't realize a tear had escaped his eye.

"A giant lightning bolt came down and struck the empty spot where Hawk Moth was shooting his powers. Within seconds, a form started forming in its place. And a minute later, a beautiful woman stood before them. Adrien gasped as tears escape

"Mother..." Adrien gasped.
