Through the other side of the door, gunshots can be heard and then suddenly, it opened and an armoured figure with a minigun stepped inside, covered in soot. He took off his helmet to reveal the author who was already panting for breath. He then walked towards a scanner and placed a chip containing the chapter inside and then, he started watching.

Scene: Jaiye Manor.

Three days after Christmas, Paris is still coated in a white blanket of snow and the day was already starting to break out only for something special to happen on that day.

In Camilla's room, its occupant was currently sleeping on her bed, never noticing her door creak open for an intruder to enter. Said intruder climbed on top of her bed and cast a shadow over her and then assaulted her face with a series of licks, enough to wake her up.

"Ugh… Connor! What the hell?" she groaned in disgust, trying to wipe her face while Connor was barking as if trying to tell her something while wagging his tail, and then dashed out of the room. Camilla then left her room to follow him, while also meeting her brother who had come out and was currently wiping his face with a towel.

Camilla was wearing a grey t-shirt over black sleeping shorts while Toby wore a black undershirt with an arc reactor motif over black below the knees shorts with blue accents.

"Let me guess, Connor decorated your face with a drool mask." she guessed.

"Among other things, yes. Couldn't there have been a better way to wake us up?" He then handed her the towel.

"Who knows? Let's see what he wants to show us."

After wiping the drool off her face, the twins made their way to the living room on the first floor and as they neared the door, Luupa phased out of it, surprising them.

"Luupa?"

"Just what are you doing? Mom might see you!" Camilla whisper-yelled.

"Relax, your mom's currently downstairs and she didn't see us. AND we have a nice surprise just for you."

"A surprise?" said Toby.

"What is it?" asked Camilla.

"Don't worry, all you have to do is close your eyes," they did as they were told, "and no peeking."

Luupa then guided them inside the living room where Breeze was on the coffee table with a bowl full of a white substance where he then pulled out two objects and placed them on the table as he and Luupa then got rid of the bowl and then quickly guided the two of them to the couch to sit on.

"Okay, you can open your eyes now."

As they opened their eyes, they saw on the table, a drawing of a matchstick version of themselves and their kwamis holding hands while dancing in a grassy field and sunny sky background and next to it was a pair of charms that Breeze pulled out.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Both kwamis shouted, making the twins smile.

And by now, you've already guessed it. Yes, it's their birthday.

"Guys, you didn't have to do this," Camilla smiled.

"You guys are so special to us so we did anyway," Luupa said.

"Thanks guys," said Toby who proceeded to pick up a silver charm, "so what is this one?"

"That my friend is a Kwagatama. A great symbol of friendship among us kwamis," explained Breeze.

"We take a hair from our Miraculous holder and join it to the hairs of all the former Miraculous holders. And with them we grow a magic resin for a few months and then during any memorable event of our current holders, we regurgitate it out into this," Luupa took over the explanation.

While they were explaining, Connor was examining the bowl, curious as to what the substance was and took a portion of it into his mouth only for his eyes to widen as he suddenly spat it back and stuck his tongue out in disgust. At this point, the twins didn't know whether to be proud or disgusted at the fact that they are holding something that came out from inside the kwamis but in a way, when dealing with a dog, it's not a new thing.

"So, do you like it?" Breeze asked hopefully.

Camilla picked up her own charm which was white, "Yeah we do."

"It's really nice, we're gonna keep them," said Toby as they got up, "Let's get prepared."

And with that, the Kwamis followed them as they left the room.

Scene: Marinette's home.

Marinette was currently descending down the stairs as she was having a video chat with her secret boyfriend.

"It's great today's the twins' birthday and we get to celebrate it, so remind me of the plan again," said Adrien.

After the Christmas feast, Camilla told Marinette about their birthday and then Marinette told everyone about it so throughout the three day gap, they successfully came up with a plan and thankfully, she knows their house address thanks to Adrien who was told by Toby.

"It's simple, the aim is for all of us to set up a surprise party in their house since we have their address," explained Marinette, "But before that, the M-Team - that's us - will go out on a hangout together and will stall them until they're done, although it's amazing your dad allowed you to attend."

"Yeah, I'm just as surprised as you are. you still think it will go smoothly?"

"I'm very sure. 'Operation Gemini' is flawless and can't fail, I'll see you soon."

"Likewise."

Marinette ended the call as she entered the bakery where her parents were already packaging a birthday cake which was flavoured chocolate.

"Marinette, are you ready? we're leaving now," said Tom.

"Yup, all set," replied Marinette as she picked up a separate box full of macarons, "After all, I'm gonna have to keep them occupied for a while."

"Which means you'll also spend time with the boy you speak so fondly of," said Sabine with a teasing grin, "What was his name again?... hmm... is it Adr-"

"MOM!" Marinette cut her off, already turning red with embarrassment.

"Okay, I was kidding," said Sabine, "We should be going, don't want to keep your friends waiting."

Fully equipped, they closed the bakery as they started departing towards their destination.

Scene: Jaiye Manor.

Inside the house still had the Christmas decorations which weren't put down for obvious reasons, this being one of them.

In the dining room, Edna had put down a bowl of fruits just as she received an incoming call in her tablet. Upon picking it up, she smiled seeing who the caller was with the profile photo being a star emblem and the name being saved as 'Cap Cami'. She swiped the screen to answer it and then, appearing on the screen was a dark skinned woman with brown eyes and dark brown hair that is cut short and combed to the right side.

(I am going to give five stars to the first guy who gets this hint on who I'm talking about correctly.)

"Hey Cap, It's been a while. How are you?" Edna greeted.

"I'm doing better," said Cami, "How's Paris treating you? I heard there were villains appearing frequently there."

"I'm handling myself just fine and Paris is safe in the hands of the M-Team," assured Edna, "Surely you didn't call at 1a.m in your time zone just to talk about heroes and villains."

"No I didn't, Eddie, I actually wanted to say hi to my big sister and to wish my favorite nephew and niece a Happy Birthday."

Edna placed the tablet on the table in a standing position just as the twins, all dressed up, came downstairs.

"Good morning, Mom."

"Happy Birthday, kids," Edna smiled as she pulled them in a warm embrace, "Oh, I still can't believe my babies are turning fifteen this year."

"Mom," they both groan in embarrassment, earning a chuckle from their relative, knowing how emotional her sister can get since she has done it to her many times in their youth and truth be told, she finds the sight adorable.

It reminded the both of them of what happened 15 years ago, how Edna caught a very deadly illness without anyone knowing, how it reached the terminal stages in the start of Winter, how her sister enlisted the best ultra modern medical facilities to keep her stable and after a good amount of days, it paid off. According to what she told the twins on their 14th birthday, she was being given blood donated by Miss Hill the day before they were born and she was able to recover overnight in optimum condition.

"It's just that seeing you on this day reminds me of the day you came into this world," said Edna as she released them but still held onto their shoulders, "And I'm happy seeing you all grown up, is that right, Cap?"

"It sure is. Hey guys, how are you two doing?" Cami said as the twins turned to her.

"Hey aunt Cami, we're absolutely fine," Camilla said, which earned a nod from Toby.

"Glad to hear, I wish you both a Happy Birthday and many happy returns of the day with long life and prosperity."

"Thanks aunt." the twins said.

"You're welcome. Meanwhile I'm gonna get some sleep ahead of today's work. Have a nice day."

"Take care."

"Good luck."

They then hung up and went about their morning activities.

Scene: The streets.

The Dupain-Chengs were walking towards the address of the house which took them 30 minutes to get there, and when they did, they saw Marinette's classmates already gathered... well most of them if you exclude Chloé and Sabrina. Anyways, just by looking at them, you could see various degrees of shock and surprise when the family saw what they were staring at, they couldn't help but be surprised themselves.

"Whoa," Tom managed to say.

Alya who also came, turned to Marinette. "Girl, you sure this is the right address?"

"Yeah that's what they gave us, they wouldn't lie."

"Epic! Adrien's house has definitely got nothing on this," said Nino, awestruck.

"I'm never gonna get used to a view like this," said Kim. "I might cry."

"Go ahead, jockstrap. no-one will judge, " deadpanned Alix.

Just then, Adrien's car arrived and pulled up next to them as Adrien and his bodyguard stepped out with Marinette already staring at him dreamily.

"It's gonna have to take a while to get used to the view," said Adrien, noticing the house.

"Yeah, It's gonna have to," said Marinette with a lovestruck grin because to her, it was about him. Alya noticed the expression on her face and wanted to slap her back to consciousness, but decided to shake her out of it which she successfully did, causing Marinette to stumble in her words. " Oh- uh - yeah, right. Now that everyone's here, Operation Gemini commences now."

And then it started as Marinette walked towards a gate security panel and rung the doorbell. Not long after, everyone else had to step out of view as the panel flashed a green light, signalling the transmission.

"Hey Mari," the voice of Camilla spoke through the speakers.

"Uh Camilla, so are you ready for the group hangout we agreed on?"

"Sure, we'll be there shortly. "

Then the panel lost it's green light. Adrien then turned to his bodyguard. "Okay I don't know if this is the right time, but can me, Marinette and the twins go out on a hangout? It's just the four of us and it won't take too long."

The bodyguard started at Adrien, then Marinette and then after seconds of contemplation, he grunted in approval.

"Thanks."

The gate then slid open, allowing the twins, already equipped in their winter gear to step through to meet the duo. Luckily, their classmates were able to hide earlier in time and were watching intently, but then Ivan looked like he was about to sneeze which was the case until Mylène stopped him from doing so.

"Happy birthday guys," Marinette said as the four of them exchanged hugs.

"Thanks," Toby said.

"You guys are all set?" Adrien asked, earning nods from them. "Alright, let's go."

The four of them left out of sight, causing the others to sigh in relief. Inside the house in the main living room, Edna was looking through her tablet but suddenly blinked in surprise as she saw through the security cameras a whole crowd of people gathered at the gate.

Scene: Vélizy-Villacoublay Air Base.

Outside the base, multiple soldiers including those that were stationed there, stood at attention around the helipad as a military helicopter landed. Then stepping out of the chopper was a dark skinned man in his mid 40s, stood 6'4" in height, was broad shouldered, muscular, had short black hair and a short neatly trimmed beard. He was wearing a bulletproof jacket over a green shirt, dark green pants with camouflage motif, black combat boots and a belt with a holster to store his sidearm and he wore a badge that presented his current rank as a U.S Colonel. So by simply looking at him, he has this vibe of someone you don't want to mess with. The colonel took off the sunglasses he was wearing, revealing his brown eyes as he took in the surroundings, seeing all the soldiers give him a salute, welcoming him as he returned it. He then walked to an individual the same age and rank as him, albeit being french. When he stepped closer to him, you could see the size difference with the former being larger than the latter.

"It's good to see you again, Victor. Did you have a nice flight?" greeted the French Colonel.

"That I have, Emil," said Victor in an African accent as the two colonels started walking away from the chopper. Victor then noticed someone was missing, "Where's the general? I'm not seeing him."

"He left for Paris to have a meeting with the mayor two hours before your arrival and it was a good thing you didn't show up earlier."

That part caused Victor to stop walking as he turned to his colleague, "Why is that?"

"During the time there have been instances of superpowered villains running rampant in Paris, our general started becoming crankier about it and started putting the soldiers under pressure."

"That bad, huh?" Victor winced.

"Yeah," nodded Emil, "I heard you won't resume duty until after new year's day."

"That is correct."

"Okay then, You're welcome to France and Happy New Year in advance."

"Same to you."

They both shook hands and Emil watched as Victor went his way, being escorted by his troops.

Scene: Jaiye Manor.

'This... is unexpected.'

Was what was in her mind as she welcomed all of them inside the house warmly. From the files, she recognized most of them as her children's classmates and judging from the presents in each of their hands, it didn't take a genius for her to surmise what they were here for.

"Okay, for those of you with gifts, you can put them in that corner."

As they were stacking the presents in the direction she pointed at, Nino walked towards her.

"Hey du-… um…Agent-,"

"You can call me Mrs. Jaiye."

"Okay, um Mrs. Jaiye, we were wondering if we could organise a surprise party."

Edna was surprised and then turned to see the expectant looks from the teens, "Well, I don't see why not."

This earned cheers from the teens as she then joined Tom and Sabine on the dining table, "I really appreciate it, but you didn't have to go through all the trouble for this."

"Everything is worth it. It's what friends are for, right?" Sabine smiled reassuringly.

"Yeah and besides, a friend of Marinette is a friend of ours so we did it anyway." Tom said.

Edna was about to say something when their attention was suddenly drawn by a high pitched squeal that came from Rose who had noticed Connor who was just sitting on his own and looking in curiosity.

"Awww, they have a puppy! He's sooo cute!" Rose squealed while at the same time, picking up the german shepherd and spinning him in the air which earned a chuckle from Juleka.

Unsurprisingly, all the girls were attracted and were currently crowding around him as the adults briefly glanced at each other and then back at the scene in front of them.

Scene: Jardin des Tuileries.

Marinette, Adrien, the twins and their kwamis were seen in the park gathering a large heap of snow as they were building a snowman. While each of them were building the sections, they were chatting.

"So, basically if genies existed long ago, what if there are more mythical creatures that currently exist?" said Marinette as she designed the head section of the snowman.

Breeze then flew towards her with a half eaten macaroon in hand, "I'm just gonna point out a few things wrong with that statement."

Camilla, who was with Toby building the midsection, groaned in annoyance, "Breeze, don't start."

"No really, don't," Luupa added.

Breeze chose to ignore them as he finished his macaroon, "Not all mythical creatures exist at all. One good example is the aliens humans portray."

"Technically, Majestia is an alien," said Adrien as he rolled up the base section.

"Thank You!" Camilla flailed her hands up as someone agreed with her.

"Really? Because I still believe she's a human with superpowers. All the talk about her from another planet must simply be a rumour spread by comic book theorists."

"Breeze, there have been many attempted alien invasions," Toby said as he attached the branches to the sides.

"Exactly. And by the way, there's still a whole universe yet to be explored," said Marinette before Breeze could object while Tikki added, "There are more extraterrestrial lifeforms out there, we don't know it yet."

"Indeed and this is coming from the Kwami of Creation," Luupa agreed.

They were done with their section and had assembled the sections together. After they were finished, they stepped back as they admired their handiwork.

"Wait, it's missing one thing," Plagg said as he then flew towards the face and stuck a piece of Camembert to where there's the nose, "There, that's better."

"I don't know, the face needs a wider grin, don't you think?" Toby asked.

"Yeah, we need one more rock," agreed his sister.

Marinette and Adrien went to a tree in search of stones but as Toby was about to follow, Camilla stopped him. He shot her a questioning look,and she pointed at one of the branches on the tree which had a mistletoe hanging above the two of them, causing the twins to grin.

Toby then leaned in to whisper, "Should we tell them?"

Camilla then thought for a moment, "Nah, let them find out for themselves."

As Marinette and Adrien searched the snow, they suddenly found themselves face to face with each other and they abruptly got up with Marinette already stuttering.

"S-s-sorry, I-I just wanted to um, you know, um...,"

"Yeah, I get it," said Adrien, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly. He then noticed a rock and bent down to pick it up, "I found one."

"Thanks," Marinette then collected it and then kissed him on the cheek, although that action alone made her blush madly.

As they were both staring at each other, a snowball was suddenly thrown at Marinette with enough force that sent the bluenette tumbling into the snow with a surprised yelp. This caused Adrien to turn to the twins only to see both of them pointing at each other with both of their index fingers.

Adrien mentally sighed as he helped up Marinette who had a death glare plastered on her face, "Oh it is on!"

With that, she then scooped up a snowball only for the twins to scramble for cover and then, the park became a war zone of a snowball fight.

Scene: Streets of Paris.

Driving along the road was a dark green armoured Hummer H2 that just entered the city itself.

Victor, being the driver, wore an anxious expression for some reason, all was quiet until a phone call came in, which he answered through his Bluetooth earpiece, "Good day, sir."

"Colonel Victor, I see you have arrived," said a gruff voice belonging to the general.

"Yes, I-"

"That's good, you should return to base and wait for further instructions," interrupted the general.

"But sir, I'm not to resume until next year-"

"Then I assume you are unaware of the situation we're facing right here," snapped the general, much to Victor's annoyance, "There's a supervillain running rampant and here you are, slacking off. What do you have to say for yourself?"

"General, I have other things to do, and it's classified."

"You even have the audacity to use the oldest excuse in the book for a sorry excuse of a Colonel," spat the general, "I'm not gonna say it again, return to base, Now!"

So this was what Emil was talking about. Before he came to France, Victor didn't hesitate to volunteer to be temporarily posted to Paris and he didn't want to pass this opportunity like the other ones, so he made up his mind, "I'm afraid I can't do that sir."

"Then you leave me no choice but to teach you the way the military is supposed to treat lazy insubordinates, so say goodbye to your rank!"

"You cannot do that!"

"I can and I will! Do as I instructed you! Last! Warning!" And with that, the general ended the call abruptly.

Scene: Hawk Moth's Lair.

Hawk Moth let out a dark chuckle as his window opened.

"Who would have thought that such a cold atmosphere would be warmed by such anger? Anger of a soldier whose loyalty is being abused by his superiors," He then grasped a butterfly and then turned it into a corrupted akuma and then centered out towards his prey, "Fly away my little Akuma and evilize him."

Scene: Streets of Paris.

To say Victor was pissed was an understatement, the fist shaped dent on the dashboard of his vehicle was enough proof. It's clearly understandable because for instance you just finished a semester and you have plans for the holiday but your mean principal demands school resumption long before resumption date with severe punishment for disobedience, it certainly brings frustration. So Victor was in a state of anger and placed both his hands on his head and tried in vain to calm himself down. He was so occupied that he failed to notice the akuma squeeze through a slightly opened window and touched his earpiece, merging with it.

"Warmonger, I am Hawk Moth. You have served your country well and what do you get? Accusation? Humiliation? Don't you worry, for I give you the power to exact vengeance and destroy anything and anyone that gets in the way of your goal and in return, you will get me the Miraculous."

"Then so be it," Victor said as his transformation took place. While it happened, the SUV began to disassemble part by part, and then they reassembled into the form of a 12 foot tall large mech. Simply by looking at him, you could mistake him for a cybertronian.

The reformed robot then walked forward with a new destination and a new agenda.

Scene: Jardin des Tuileries.

The four teens were laying on the snow, laughing and trying to catch their breaths from their long snowball fight and surprisingly, their snowman was still intact and in one piece.

"That was fun." Camilla said.

"Yeah it was," said Adrien as the four of them got up, "Is there any place you'd like to go?"

Toby hummed thoughtfully, "Well, there are places we haven't visited since moving here to Paris. I suppose we could check them out."

"Or we could just patrol the city?" Camilla suggested.

"Doesn't sound bad," Adrien agreed.

As the three of them were chatting, Marinette brought out her phone to try calling Alya to know about their progress but before she could do it, the four then suddenly heard an crash from outside the park. When they ran out, they saw civilians screaming and running away from what appeared to be a mech armed with weapons. They shared a glance towards each other and then ran to hide in an alleyway while making sure nobody was around as the Kwamis flew out.

"I'm afraid the outing will have to wait, sorry guys," said Marinette apologetically.

"It's okay. The sooner we're done with the villain, the better," said Camilla, "So are you guys ready?"

"Yup, Locked and loaded!" quipped Breeze.

"Okay then, It's Transformin' Time!" Toby said, having come up with the team's main transformation catchphrase.

"Tikki, Spots On!"

"Plagg, Claws Out!"

"Breeze, Take Flight!"

"Luupa, It's Full Moon!"

With that, the Kwamis flew into their respective jewelries as they transformed into the M-Team.

Warmonger was walking along the streets when the M-Team landed in front of him.

"So you are the fabled M-Team," Warmonger said in a deep robotic voice.

"You got that right, and it's these guys that are gonna reduce you to scraps," Sky Falcon said smugly while flexing his muscles.

"So, who's the poor sod that pissed you off this time?" Grey Wolf questioned.

"How about you find out," Warmonger said as he activated a pair of arm mounted guns on both arms and a minigun on his left shoulder. Seeing he was about to shoot, Sky Falcon quickly activated his wings, shielding the team from the barrage of bullets.

"Okay this guy isn't messing around," Ladybug said.

"Yeah, no kidding," said Gray Wolf, "We're basically dealing with a machine with weapons enough to annihilate an entire army."

"So what are we gonna do? He isn't giving us enough breathing space," said Cat Noir.

"We'll need to locate the object in order to defeat him. So until then, we'll have to overwhelm him from all sides," said Ladybug, already forming a plan, "Cat, you take the left. Gray, you take the right. Sky, you fly above. Got it?"

"Yup," the others said.

"On the count of three, we attack. One…"

Gray readied her bow in spear mode.

"...two…"

Cat gripped his staff as they prepared themselves.

"...three!"

Sky Falcon immediately took off, his wings opened a split second before the feline and the canine welded their weapons with deadly precision, deflecting the bullets as the bird of prey took to the sky to draw fire from the minigun. Cat and Gray split up and went their separate ways to draw fire from both arm mounted guns, leaving only Ladybug as she charged forward towards Warmonger, only for him to deploy missiles at her which she acrobatically dodged and as they exploded, she used the kinetic force to propel her up to his level as she wrapped her yo-yo around a loose manhole cover and spun around midair, thereby swinging the cover and hitting his head with it and causing him to stagger, giving Gray Wolf the opportunity to land a deadly slash and stab on the villain's chest with her spear. As his attention was diverted once more, Cat Noir slid between the robot's legs and knocked one of the legs, causing the villain to fall on one knee as Sky Falcon swooped down, dodged the ammos and dealt a kick, followed by an uppercut from Ladybug with her yoyo, sending him stumbling to the ground. Warmonger then quickly recovered and got back on his feet as he continued shooting Sky Falcon, only to be shot in the back by multiple arrows that detonated, knocking him forward.

He then turned to her and tried to shoot only for Cat Noir to deal several attacks from behind and as Warmonger tried punching the feline, Cat Noir dodged Ladybug wrapped her yo-yo around his wrist, trapping it while giving Sky Falcon the opportunity to deal his own damages, knocking him back. The M-Team were attacking him from all sides, making it difficult for him to focus on one person and after a while, he finally had enough.

"THAT'S IT!" Warmonger roared as he rotated his upper body, knocking them away before he stretched out his fists, "Activate Mega missile mode."

As he said that, various slots and pads around his body opened to reveal the various heat seeking missile launchers from the following parts of the body: right arm missiles, left arm missiles, right leg missiles, left leg missiles, dual shoulder missiles, waist missiles, headlight missile, other headlight missile, right rocket fist, left rocket fist, right thigh missiles, left thigh missiles, eye missile, other eye missile, four wheel missiles and finally back torpedoes.

As all the missiles were launched, the larger missiles separated into smaller missiles to double the already large amount. So the M-Team had to split up and run away as the missiles split up to pursue their given targets. Under any other circumstances, it would have been a laughing matter, but people don't think of laughing if they are running with a hundred missiles hot on their tails.

"Hawkmoth must be really desperate if this latest villain of his is any indication." Cat Noir noted.

"You don't say!" Gray Wolf yelled as she was running and leaping across rooftops as fast as she could from the missiles that were chasing her. After she took a sharp turn outmanoeuvring the missiles, she drew out and nocked an arrow and then she spun, back diving off a roof and shooting the arrow up in the sky. As she landed on her feet, she looked up and watched as the arrowhead burst into flares, diverting the missiles and causing them to explode upon contact. Smiling at her handiwork, she then ran from the alley.

Meanwhile, Sky Falcon was flying with his own missiles in hot pursuit and no matter how he maneuvers, they were too tenacious. Just then, an idea struck his mind. He's watched it in a movie many times and doesn't know if it's gonna work or not. There was only one way to find out. He flew straight and performed multiple barrel rolls and as expected, the missiles followed his example and spun around the other and after a while, two front missiles collided with each other, causing a chain reaction of explosions in the sky. Sky Falcon did a loop and cheered.

"Oh yeah it worked! Thank you, Anakin!"

Meanwhile, as Ladybug was swinging, trying to evade her missiles, she brought out and put on her earpiece, "Cat, you still have the missiles?"

"Yeah, do you have a plan?"

"We need to lead them back to the robot. Sky, you still have your missiles, right?"

"Nope,"

"Then you're on standby. When the two of us jump, come pick us up,"

"Got it."

Sky Falcon then turned towards Warmonger while flapping his wings in order to gain speed. Warmonger noticed him and tried shooting him only for the latter to dodge the bullets with a cocky grin. At the same time, Ladybug and Cat Noir were leading the missiles to the robot from both sides. When they jumped towards Warmonger, They were immediately snatched from the air by Sky who flew above him as the missiles couldn't change their trajectory, thereby hitting the mech, causing a huge explosion that could be seen from all angles and a good distance. Gray Wolf arrived at the scene as her teammates landed.

"Looks like the robot was blown to bits," said Cat Noir as he examined the scattered pieces of the robotic villain.

"At least it was easy, let's just find the akumatized object," said Gray Wolf.

As the M-Team went around each looking through the parts, Sky Falcon couldn't help but gloat out loud, "Nice try, Hawk Moth. The decepticon put up a good fight, but it was no match for the might of the M-Team. Face it, there's nothing you can throw at us that we can't handle!"

While he was talking, Cat Noir bent down to observe the head and not long after he had tilted it, the left ear and the eyes lit up.

"What the….."

Cat Noir exclaimed before he was hit with laser eyes, knocking him away. This caught the attention of others as Warmonger's head levitated along with the parts magnetically reassembling and on top of that, parts from nearby vehicles were torn apart as they reinforced the body, replacing damaged parts. As soon as his head was reattached, he spoke up, "Here's one thing you all should learn in combat kiddies." from a nearby vehicle, he magnetically reformed a huge hammer which dropped in his hand as he had it rest on his shoulder, "Whenever you kill someone, don't get near them until you are sure they're dead."

The M-Team who had already come together stared at him in shock while Gray sent a glare at her brother, "You just had to say it."

Sky just shrugged sheepishly.

If Warmonger is able to repair himself after taking damage, then they're in really big trouble.

Scene: Jaiye Manor.

They didn't spend too much time as all they had to do was add some finishing touches to the decorations and slap the hand belonging to Kim, preventing him from touching the cake. As Nino finished setting up his turntable, he joined the rest of the classmates in the living room who were currently laughing from one of the stories Edna was telling them about the twins' childhood.

She was currently telling them a story about their Infiltration into a banquet in Washington and it goes like this:

When they were 10, the notable places in New York suffered from various heists and the criminals only disappeared whenever they were cornered by the authorities- no really, they literally vanished. At that time, the twins, wanting to be agents like their mom, tried investigating the case and ended up coming up with a crazy theory that the thieves were aliens that were secretly invading earth. Even though that idea was shot down immediately by their mother, the twins, being stubborn, dressed up as an adult with a matching ID and snuck onboard the train going to Washington DC and entered the banquet hall with ease…

"...and let me be frank, those two had me fooled. I never thought they had it in them."

"Yeah, Neither did we. I didn't know they're that stubborn." Said Alya slightly laughing.

"Says the one who believed Chloe was Ladybug," said Nino, earning laughs from the others and causing Alya to groan in embarrassment.

"And if I can recall correctly, you also ran into a danger zone trying to film Stoneheart," Edna agreed and then added a bit sternly, "I just hope you learn from that experience."

"Yeah I did, ma'am," Alya nodded, a bit intimidated.

Alix then decided to change the topic, "So I've been meaning to ask, what was their disguise name?"

"I think I have it somewhere," Said Edna as she got up and went towards a cabinet and brought out an ID card. As she came back and showed it to them, they immediately burst out laughing hysterically, the Dupain-Cheng parents and Adrien's bodyguard chuckled a bit, even finding it funny.

Why?

Because the photo on the ID was a 10 year old Camilla wearing a derby hat, sunglasses and a moustache and beside it was the name 'Sir Rupert Stinklebaum' and anyone can simply take a guess who came up with the name in the first place and woe to the guy who was at the receiving end of her wrath. And on a side note, up till the current time, she still doesn't forgive him for that.

"Stinklebaum?" Kim said in between laughs. Even Connor was doing the dog equivalent of laughing.

"You'd better believe it. So after a while, the only time we discovered who they really were was when they took down the thieves in the most unusual way and let me tell you, they weren't half wrong. There was actually an alien amongst them but he was caught by Knightowl before they could escape."

"Whoa." said Mylène.

Ivan then noticed Max who was looking at an object on the side table which appeared to be an upright standing C-shaped structure with hollow metallic plates screwed to each end facing each other, "Hey Max, what are you looking at?" This caught their attention.

"I don't know, but I'm 67.352% certain I've seen this from somewhere."

"Hmm, let me help you increase that probability," said Edna as she went to the dining table and brought out a small metal ball, "Max, is it? Could you please flip the switch by the side?"

Max then found the switch and as soon as he flipped it, a humming sound resonated from the machine, and Edna then tossed the ball in between the discs, the ball stopped midair and levitated between them, earning sounds of awe from the others.

"This is an electromagnetic suspension system using a feedback loop, built by them." explained Edna.

As she said it, the gears in Max's head were spinning and then his eyes bulged wide open as realization hit him like a ton of bricks, "Wait, I remember, this was in the Gizmo show!"

"You mean your favourite show?" asked Kim.

"So you've heard of it," Edna said, "Actually, you are correct. When they were 12, They presented it in the show but even though it worked successfully, They got 2nd place."

"Then who got first place?" asked Tom.

"It was someone else who presented a machine that converts sound energy to electrical energy," answered Max, "And she only won by a 51% margin and a unanimous decision by the judges."

"That must have been a bummer for them," said Rose who was still holding Connor in her arms, "So are they both builders or one of them is?"

"It's Toby that's the inventor, Camilla is simply the supplier of ideas and helps him upgrade machines."

"Okay, Is there anything else about these two that we don't know?" said Alix.

"It depends on how they introduced themselves to you," said Edna. Previously during the time they were still decorating the house, she was impressed by the positive reviews about them from their classmates.

Alya spoke up, "Okay I'll be honest, for Camilla, we get it. But the first time we saw TJ, we didn't think he'd be a tinkerer, we thought he was…"

Edna raised an eyebrow and smirked, "A rebel or something?"

The class looked around nervously, trying to answer that question.

"It's okay, he gets that all the time, the both of them are nice. You really shouldn't judge a book by its cover."

That lesson goes around. Ivan knew that since he learnt that pretty fast after he was pep talked by Toby.

"So, on another note," said Edna, "Would you like to hear a story about how Toby wore a dress?"

Some of them snickered hearing that.

"Now that's something I want to hear," quipped Kim.

As the others were talking, Alya tried calling Marinette, only for it to go directly to voicemail. The same was for Adrien.

"Marinette, where are you?"

Scene: Streets of Paris.

To answer that rhetorical question, remember when I said they were screwed? Yeah, they were as the fight wasn't in their favour. No matter how many times they try to dismantle, damage or dismember parts of the mech, the titular villain magnetically attracts parts of vehicles to replace damaged parts whenever his left ear lights up.

We see Cat Noir land on his back as he rolled sideways to avoid a volley of metal rods shot in his direction and had to open his legs wide avoiding a metal rod that lodged itself in between.

"This is not how I wanted my birthday to turn out!" said Gray Wolf on a roof through gritted teeth as she fired a scatter arrow which split up into multiple arrows. Sadly, Warmonger saw this and his left ear lit up as he magnetically attracted a pickup truck to shield himself from the arrows that blew up the vehicle. He then used the front half to magnetically form a spiked gauntlet in his left hand and threw the other half at Gray Wolf who dodged in time. Sky Falcon swooped down to attack him from behind but Warmonger turned his head 180 degrees and blasted him with laser eyes, sending him crashing through a wall and leaving a trail of feathers. As he walked towards Cat Noir, his right hand was ensnared by Ladybug who tried pulling him. Turning to her, Warmonger stretched his arm forward and shot his hand attached to a chain as it grabbed Ladybug by the neck. It then reeled her in but just as he was about to maul her with his gauntlet, it was hit by two taser arrows and two explosive arrows that destroyed the makeshift weapon. He then turned to Gray Wolf and with Ladybug in his hand, he flung her with a great force towards Gray Wolf who couldn't dodge in time as they both tumbled on the streets dazed.

"Okay tin can," started Cat Noir who quickly spun his staff to block the multiple amounts of ammunition shot by Warmonger who was advancing towards him at the same time, "I know your buttons have been pushed today but you really need to blow off some steam."

He then stopped spinning his staff when he saw the towering mech in front of him raising his foot, "It's Warmonger to you, house pet!"

He then brought it down towards Cat Noir who rolled out of the way and split his staff and plunged them accurately in the ankle joint. Warmonger raised his leg as he tried shaking off the cat themed hero who was hanging on for dear life until he was flung away along with the foot that was detached. As he landed, he was joined by Ladybug and Gray Wolf. They then noticed the detached foot in front of them and the moment it made a sequence of rapid beeps, they realized to their horror it was a bomb.

"Oh sh-"

Sky Falcon suddenly landed in time and formed a protective shield around the team with his wings at the last second just as the bomb detonated, causing debris flying everywhere, the road structures in vicinity to cave in and damages to surrounding buildings.

Warmonger attracted a piece of metal to replace his foot as he walked towards the hole only to find nobody.

"Excellent job, soldier. Now that there's no one else to challenge you, get me their Miraculous," Hawkmoth ordered telepathically.

"Before I do, there is one more thing I need to take care of. "Warmonger said turning away from the destruction as he continued walking towards his destination.

Scene: The Sewers.

The M-Team are seen in the sewers currently running to keep pace with the villain.

"Thanks for the quick save, Sky," said Ladybug.

"You're welcome,"

"So where's Warmonger heading now?" Cat Noir asked.

Gray wolf brought out her bow which she bent into a U-shape and as she did that, a holographic screen appeared between the inner sides as it displayed a map, "Judging from the direction of his footsteps, he seems to be making a beeline straight towards… the City Hall. Why am I not so surprised?"

"Good to know. Now we know the akuma is located in his left ear, but we can't seem to defeat him because he's a walking magnet," said Ladybug.

That was when an idea occurred to Sky Falcon, "Guys, what if we defeat him by using our own magnet."

"What?"

"Gray, do you remember our presentation at the Gizmo show,"

Gray Wolf's ears perked as she remembered, already getting what he's implying, "Yeah, that one, you mean…"

"The electromagnetic suspension system using a feedback loop,"

"I don't follow," said Cat Noir.

Gray slapped a hand over Sky's mouth before he could talk, "We'll simply spare you guys the long physics explanation and put it in summary: We're gonna build a trap."

Sky then removed her hand, "We need to build separate electromagnets opposite each other so when the mech's in pieces, we activate ours at the same time he activates his, keeping him stationary long enough for us to get to the object and break it."

Ladybug and Cat Noir were a bit taken aback.

"That's actually a great idea," said Ladybug.

"At least feather brain can be smart for once," Gray said, earning an incredulous look from her brother, "So while two of us distract the big guy, the other two build it but we'd need to hurry."

"Sounds like a plan," said Cat Noir.

They then reached beneath a manhole cover, "Are you guys ready?"

They nodded.

"M-Team!" She stretched her right hand forward for her teammates to place their right hands together over the other, "Let's do this!"

Scene: Outside City Hall

They then burst out of the hole into the streets just as Warmonger who had arrived and already shot a missile heading straight for the building. Gray Wolf shot an arrow at it, causing it to explode midair. Ladybug and Cat Noir split up and went separate ways, leaving only the twins who stood boldly, facing him.

"STAAAAAAAAAAANE!" bellowed Sky Falcon, earning an annoyed scowl from his sister, "Do you miss us?!"

Ladybug and Cat Noir perched on a rooftop, observing the scene and took a deep breath, "Lucky Charm!"

Ladybug flung her yo-yo into the air, and then suddenly appeared in her hands was a big red and black polka-dotted roll of electric cables.

"Cables?" Ladybug then looked forward, trying to spot what else she could use. In her lucky vision, it highlighted Warmonger's forearms, two of Gray Wolf's arrows and the overhead cables then it made sense.

"Sky, Gray, you guys are right. We're building a trap. Gray, I'm gonna need an arrow, Sky I need the arms," Ladybug said to them through the earpiece as Cat Noir split the cables in half with his claws

"Gotcha," replied Sky Falcon while Gray Wolf made a come here gesture with a grin. Warmonger took the bait as he charged forward. The canine shot an arrow at Ladybug who easily caught it while she and the bird of prey charged forward and as the robot got close, they feinted their punches, causing him to thrust both his fists forward. Fortunately, they expected this as Gray Wolf ran to one side away as Sky Falcon deployed his wings and did a corkscrew spin, slicing them off, one was ensnared and yanked to the end of the street on his right side while Gray Wolf shot a cable arrow and yanked it, sending it flying to the left side for Cat Noir.

Warmonger then magnetically replaced his arms and engaged the twins in combat, "Bad idea."

While they were busy, Ladybug and Cat Noir went to work wrapping the cables on the arms and hanging them from the overhead cables by each inactive taser arrows hooked to them.

"Guys, It's ready."

Gray Wolf dug her spear to the ground to slow her momentum after she was thrown and had to deflect the lasers with the blade, "Alpha's Howl!"

She sent a sonic attack that caused the robotic villain to stagger. Just as he slowly walked towards her, Sky Falcon hovered midair and the second she stopped, it was his turn, "SkyDive!"

He flew at a sonic speed and spun as he shredded Warmonger in pieces, causing him to fall. Ladybug and Cat Noir were running towards him when they saw him levitate once more.

"NOW!"

Gray Wolf pushed a button on her bow and suddenly, Electricity sparked through the makeshift contraption as the electromagnets activated and pulled back Warmonger's attempts at reassembling himself, thereby hanging in midair. Cat Noir ran and jumped towards the head and grabbed onto the left ear.

"Get away from me!" Warmonger roared.

"Cataclysm!"

Suddenly, the black energy caused the left side of the head to form multiple cracks and when it did, the akuma flew out of the head and attempted to fly away.

"No more evildoing for you, little akuma," said Ladybug, swinging her yo-yo. "Time to de-evilize!" She then swung the yo-yo catching the akuma before it could escape. "Gotcha! She then released it now the purified butterfly fluttered away. "Bye-bye, little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug!"

The magical ladybirds began fixing the damage. Soon, Warmonger changes back to the SUV and the M-Team then bumped fists. "Pound it!"

Victor was so confused as to how he ended up in front of the city hall and when he noticed the M-Team, he stepped out of the vehicle and approached them. When the twins turned to him, they were shocked as they couldn't believe who they were seeing.

"Dad?" murmured a shocked Grey Wolf.

Cat Noir was surprised when he heard it and was looking between him and them.

"Are you the M-Team?" Victor asked.

"Yes we are, sir. You were akumatized but you're okay, no one got hurt," said Ladybug.

"COLONEL!"

They all turned to face a French man who appeared to be in his early 50s, had gray hair and wore a uniform with the badge that indicated his rank as a general. He had already exited the city hall with soldiers taking positions and he didn't look the very bit happy.

And so did an already annoyed Victor who tried to speak up, "General-"

"So after my warnings, you still show up here!"

"General-"

"And don't get me started on the part where you tried to blow up the hall with me still inside!"

Victor was already starting to lose it and he wasn't the only one, even the M-Team was starting to get fed up with him, "General-"

"Don't 'General' me! If you were still that giant machine, I would have had my men gun you down in an instant. And you being here means that you're in bi-"

"GENERAL! SHUT UP AND HEAR HIM OUT!" roared Sky Falcon in pure rage using his normal voice. This outburst caught everybody present by surprise, even the soldiers who flinched in fright. Sky then calmed himself down and then turned to Victor, "You were saying something."

Victor then turned to the general, "General, I wasn't clear about my classified assignment so let me clarify. It has been a very long time since I have seen my family so it was why I needed to use this time to spend time with them."

"He does have a point," Cat Noir spoke up, "I mean If it was you, wouldn't you want to go to your own family?"

"Wait," said Ladybug who then turned to Victor, "Colonel, when exactly are you supposed to resume duty?"

"Next year in January."

Ladybug then turned to the general, "Then that means he has time to connect to his family, even if it's just for one day."

"Is it that too much to ask?" finished Gray Wolf.

The general stared at the five of them, then contemplated for a moment and after a few seconds, he took in a deep breath, "Very well. Colonel, I drop the charges against you and you are free to go. But you're gonna resume first thing in January, do I make myself clear?"

"Yes sir."

"Then you're dismissed."

With that, the general walked away with the troops. Victor then turned to the M-Team, only to find they had gone.

"Well now that's settled, there's one remaining thing to do."

He went back to his SUV and drove off.

In his lair, Hawkmoth was glowering.

"You may have won this battle, M-Team. But in the new year's resolution, I will be the one to win this war."

Scene: the streets.

The teens already detransformed were walking along the streets back to the Jaiye Manor at a fast pace.

"So that was your dad?" asked Marinette.

"Yep," replied Toby.

"I'm surprised he'd show up. I mean, we've never heard you guys talk about him."

"Well to be honest, this is the first time in years our dad's ever showed up on our birthdays," Camilla informed them.

"It's what got our parents in a fight and the last time they talked, it wasn't pleasant." added Toby, shuddering at the memory.

"At least your dad's here for you, that's what matters. so let's hope for the best," said Adrien.

As they neared the gate, they immediately halted and hid by the side. They then peered as they saw Victor was inside the compound and was face-to-face with Edna, you could see the height difference with him being 5 inches taller.

There was a tense silence between them as Victor was seen fidgeting.

"Hey, Eddie," Victor began, trying to lighten up the mood.

"Victor," Edna replied with a straight face.

"It's been a long time since we met, right?" Victor said with a small smile which earned no reaction from her. He let out a sigh.

"Look, I know that you have mixed feelings about seeing me here and that I'm the last person you ever want to see. I chose duties and responsibilities over my own family, and all of this was because of me. I was a fool to not see it and it shows how I've failed as a husband and a father," he closed his eyes trying and failing to fight back the tears that were already flowing from his eyes as his voice started cracking, "Not a day goes by without me regretting this day. I know saying that I am sorry just does not sound good enough, but I really am so sorry. I don't know how I'll make it up to all of you, but I pro–"

What he didn't expect was Edna walking up to him to then wrap her arms around him in a tight hug. He slowly hugged her back.

"Why?" Victor asked, bewildered, "I thought you were still angry with me."

Edna never expected him to show up so it's very big of a surprise as she was trying to process all of this.

"I wasn't. I was sad," she said with tears already in her eyes, "Because I was afraid you'd abandon us, forget us."

"I never have and never will," said Victor as they both pulled away to look at each other.

"Just hearing those genuine words coming out of you in the flesh brings joy to my heart," Edna said softly with a smile, "Did you practice in the mirror or something before coming?"

"I may have done that a few times," admitted Victor. The two connected foreheads together as they cherished this moment, "I love you so much."

"So do I," she whispered back, "They both miss you too."

Victor looked into the house, "Are they inside?"

"No, They're hanging out with their friends," she replied, "Let's get inside. It's getting cold.

They both walked inside the house.

After they entered, the team stepped out of their hiding place. They were a bit disappointed they didn't hear what they were saying.

"Well that went well," said Adrien.

"Yeah, too well," said Toby as he typed in the password, gaining them entrance.

"That's a relief," said Camilla as they walked towards the house, "So guys, do you wanna hang around in the manor?"

"Sure, why not?" said Marinette who looked tense about something, but Camilla chose not to question it. They then opened the door, finding the inside dark and quiet. They stepped inside in a battle stance. After a minute of anticipation, the lights suddenly came on.

"SURPRISE!"

They didn't know what to say as what they saw were their classmates and the whole living room in a party atmosphere and of course, they were very delighted as they received many 'Happy birthday' greetings from each of them and when they went to Edna,

"Guys, there's someone you'd like to meet,"

Then stepping out was Victor with a smile on his face, "Happy Birthday, kids."

The twins already knew but was nevertheless overjoyed as they hugged him while he lifted them off their feet and spun them around, laughing.

Meanwhile, their classmates and Marinette's parents, even the emotional ones, couldn't help but feel touched seeing the heartfelt embrace between father and children.

"Looks like Operation Gemini is a success," said Alya who was with Marinette.

"Yeah, it is," said Marinette as the two girls did a signature handshake.

A while later, the party had commenced and everyone was having the best fun anyone has ever had.
