Scene: Collège Françoise Dupont.

Alya was at school, but while Miss Bustier was teaching the class, she was cutting out a picture of Ladybug. She then used the cutout picture, placing it against all the students' faces in an attempt to discover her secret identity.

"I'm very pleased with how you all did on your last assignment," said Miss Bustier. Some of you have really stepped up, and I do appreciate it. Now it's time to move on to our next assignment." Alya then placed the picture against Chloé, who looked at her and pointed at Miss Bustier. Alya turned and discovered that Miss Bustier was looking at her and quickly hid the cutout. "Are Marinette and Camilla still in the girls' room?"

"Uh, I don't know, miss," said Alya honestly.

Miss Bustier notices the empty seats behind the class.

"Tonight, I want you all to read chapter three of the breathtaking France, the First Thousand Years. Then, answer this simple questionnaire," said Miss Bustier handing the home worksheets to everyone, but gave two to Alya. "See to it that Marinette and Camilla receive their homework."

Once outside, Alya attempted to call Marinette on her cell phone but only ended up getting voicemail instead.

"It's Marinette; leave a message," said the recording. "Beep! Hehe."

Alya then went to the girls' toilet and searched for Marinette.

"Marinette?" she called.

All of a sudden, Camilla bursts out from one of the doors panting.

"Camilla!" Alya said, surprised.

"Oh hey Al, I don't even know what I ate this morning… but I wouldn't go in there if I were you." Camilla said, quickly coming up with an excuse and composing herself.

Alya decided not to cross that bridge, a bit disturbed. "Okay, so have you seen Marinette?"

"No, Isn't she with you?"

"No, she didn't come to class,"

That's odd, her leaving class the same time she did when there was an akumatized villain attack. She didn't want to jump to conclusions that fast, so she just put that at the back of her mind.

Both of them left the bathroom.

"You actually missed most of the class, so I managed to put your homework in your bag and surely you can share it with TJ." Alya explained, then looked concerned. "I hope he's okay with the headache." 

"Meh, he'll live. He's gone through worse," she shrugged, knowing he didn't actually go to the nurse's office. "Good luck with your search on Marinette, I'll see you outside."

While Camilla went to class to get her bag, Alya continued looking for her bluenette friend. She made her way out of the yard and approached Rose and Juleka.

"Uhh, have you guys seen Marinette anywhere?" she asked, but the two girls merely shook their heads.

She then made her way to the locker room and noticed that Chloé was looking around as if she had something to hide. She quickly hid and then saw her pulling out a Ladybug costume and yo-yo from her locker. She gasped, quickly closing her mouth and watched as Chloé ran off.

"Chloé's Ladybug?" Alya stared.

She then followed Chloé outside and watched as she boarded her limousine. She then instantly pulled out her phone and began calling Marinette.

"Hey, Marinette. Ring me ASAP. We gotta talk," she said urgently, then saw Nino with Toby and then grabbed the former's hand and the latter's attention. "Guys, wait!"

"Yeah?" Nino asked.

She also grabbed Camilla's hand.

"Come with me; I need your help!" she said, dragging the two along. Toby stared at them confused, but followed.

The four of them made their way to the riverside and sat down on a bench.

"So—" Alya then quickly placed a finger over Nino's mouth and attempted to call Marinette again.

"It's Marinette; leave a message," said the recording. "Beep! Hehe."

"Ughh," Alya groaned. "I hate when she goes AWOL. She's not calling me back! Where is that girl?!"

"Seriously. My man Adrien's the exact same way," said Nino empathizing. "But I guess you gotta be sly when Mr Control Freak is your daddy-o."

Alya's phone then rang, and it showed some news footage from earlier today

"Once again, the M-Team have saved Paris from the clutches of a menacing villain," said Nadja.

The twins glanced at each other, knowing they didn't hang around after they had defeated the villain and that Sky Falcon had Skydived the both of them back to school which explained how they were able to get to school in time.

Alya looked at Ladybug; she was waving at everyone with her yo-yo in her hand and looked similar to the one that Chloé took from her locker.

"Hey! I think I've just sniffed out who the real Ladybug is!" Alya announced she grabbed Marinette's bag and then placed a sticky note on her tablet with a message.

Those words were enough to make the records in their minds to screech to a halt.

"Wait, Already?" Camilla asked, astonished.

"I'm interested, Who might that be?" Toby asked.

She then leaned in and beckoned them to also lean in as she whispered. "Chloé."

The three of them looked at each other and then immediately burst out in peals of raucous laughter as if they had just heard the funniest comedy.

"Nice one, That's the funniest thing I've ever heard come out of anyone" Camilla said in between laughs.

Toby noticed Alya wasn't laughing with them. "Oh You're serious?" he blinked.

Nino then spoke. "Chloé? Seriously? She's too self-absorbed to think of anyone but herself, much less save the world. You are cray-cray, lady!"

"I am so not! You'll see!"

"Of course you aren't, just like the Sahara desert being the coldest place." Camila said sarcastically.

It was then they heard the sound of their mom's car pulling up and sounding the horn.

"Your mom's here." Nino said.

"Sure thing, I'll see you tomorrow morning," Toby said, both sharing a fist bump as they left and Alya then began dragging Nino away.

So they entered the backseat in the car.

"Hey mom." They both greeted.

"Hey kids, how was school today?" Edna said as they drove off

"It was kinda nice," Camilla replied. The twins looked at each other, the previous conversation still fresh in their minds, and then after a few seconds, burst out laughing hysterically.

"Okay, any of you want to give me the gist on the joke of the day?"

"Oh it's our friend Alya who believes Chloe Bourgeois is Ladybug," Toby said, still laughing.

"That is highly unlikely because from what you told me about Chloe, her attitude doesn't match that of the spotted heroine and again, I've seen the both of them in the same place so consider that theory debunked." Edna said.

"True that," They both said and then silence followed.

After saving Paris, Ladybug was now making her way back home, swinging from roof to roof until she reached a billboard and detransformed behind it.

"Time flies fast when you're saving the world," said Tikki. "Day's already over!"

"Tell me about it," Marinette groaned. "I missed an entire half-day of school AND half-day of seeing Adrien!"

"Whoever's behind all of this sure is keeping us on our toes!"

"You don't have any toes!" Marinette laughed.

She then entered the bakery and approached her mother, who was at the counter.

"Alya brought your school bag home for you, Marinette," said Sabine, handing her bag.

"Hey, mum…" Marinette sighed, taking the back.

"You seem so forgetful these days," Sabine noted. "Maybe you just need some fresh air and extra exercise for that growing brain of yours!"

"Good idea, mum. I'll start tomorrow," she said, kissing her mother before making her way upstairs.

Once she was in her room, Marinette sat at the table and prepared to do her homework.

"Ladybug saved Paris from destruction once again, but who's gonna save Marinette from her homework?" she sighed as she opened her back. She then noticed that on a tablet was a sticky note. "What's this? 'Call me. I know who the real Ladybug is'?"

"No way!" Tikki gasped. "You think she knows?"

"I doubt it. Alya's always jumping to conclusions before she has her facts straight," said Marinette confidently.

"But just in case…"

"No worries, Tikki. I got it covered," said Marinette, pulling out her phone. She then attempted to call Alya but then realized there was no signal. "Dang. No signal."

She then made her way onto the balcony to see if she could get a signal outside. There she saw a man working on the cell tower.

"Sorry, miss. Cell tower maintenance," he said apologetically. "The whole neighborhood's down. No signal for the next hour!"

"Come on, Marinette," said Tikki. "Try again later. Let's head down and finish your homework."

Scene: College.

The next morning, Sabrina rushed over towards Chloé limousine, which part outside the school and opened the door.

"Hey there! Hi!" Chloé waved as they walked by several students. "You look totally fab! Uh, no, not you. Hey, it's still a month from Halloween, you know?"

Alya, Nino and the twins watched as they entered the school, and Chloé's attitude wasn't exactly confirming Alya's theory.

"You need to have your head examined," said Nino. "If she's a superhero, then I'm the Wizard of Oz."

"And I'm the queen of England." Camilla said.

"I'm telling you, she's Ladybug!" said Alya walking off.

"But do you have any sufficient evidence to back up your claims?" Toby asked seriously.

"I will, soon." she said confidently and then grabbed Nino's shirt and pulled him away with the twins staring while shaking their heads knowing already that someone would get akumatized.

Scene: Marinette's room.

Both Marinette and Tikki had fallen asleep while doing Marinette's homework. Eventually, the two of them woke up, realizing it was morning.

"Uh… what time is it?" Tikki asked.

"Uhh, school starts…" Marinette then checked her tablet and her eyes widened in horror when she saw the time. "An hour ago?!"

Scene: Locker room.

Alya was putting her plan into action.

"Now, don't mess up your lines," said Alya, giving Nino a threatening look and then quickly shoving him over to the lockers.

Nino collided into the locker opposite Chloé. "Oh, uhhh… Ladybug! Look over there!"

Chloé followed his finger, which was pointing directly at nothing. "Uhh, what kind of lame joke is this?"

"Uhh, well, that was… Did you see Ladybug yesterday? Isn't she amazing?" He then leaned in towards her. "I wonder who she really is."

Chloé then pushed him back. "Uhh… up too late DJ-ing, Nino? Obviously, you didn't get your beauty sleep."

While Nino distracted her, Alya began taking photos of Chloé's locker. Unfortunately for her, Sabrina arrived in time to notice this.

"Uh… Chloé! Alya's looking in your locker!" she said

"Uhh… that's a lie! I so was not!" said Alya. Then suddenly, out of nowhere, Kim took a phone. "Hey! Give it back!"

Kim then handed the phone over to Chloé, who saw the pictures of her own locker. "Who's the little liar now?"

A few moments later, they were in Mr Damocles' office.

"She's guilty of invasion of privacy! I have proof!" said Chloé.

"What?!" said Alya. "Seriously! All I did was take a measly photo!"

"I'm sorry, Chloé. But there's no school policy on invasion of privacy," said Mister Damocles.

"Then… then breaking and entering!"

"I didn't break into her locker! It was open!" Alya pointed out.

"And nothing was stolen?" Mr Damocles added.

"Only my very soul! My locker is my secret garden! He who enters uninvited burglarises my inner being and steals my life force!" Chloé cried and pressed ahead against Kim's chest.

"Right. An hour of detention for you, Alya," said Mr Damocles.

"Are my ears failing me?" said Chloé approaching him. "Did I hear you're giving one miserable hour of detention to a… a heinous criminal? Sabrina!"

Sabrina then pulled out a clipboard. "The school rules clearly state that any student guilty of theft should be suspended for one full week."

"Yes, but she's hardly stolen anything," Mr Damocles pointed out.

"I'm not sure that my father would share your point of view," said Chloé, pulling out her phone, preparing to call her father.

"Uhhh, well, now, Chloé, let's not bother your father, I mean, the honorable Mayor with a minor locker situation…" said Mr Damocles quickly.

Chloé then started to call her father.

"Ehhh… what I mean is, you're suspended for a week, Alya."

"What?!" said Alya, outraged. "That is so unfair! I am so gonna protest this on the school blog!"

Mr Damocles looked at Chloé, who was smugly shaking her phone, and he sighed. "The school blog is hereby suspended as well."

Alya glared at Chloé. "She's no superhero; she's super-psycho!"

Scene: Hawk Moth's lair.

Hawk Moth could sense the negative emotions coming from Alya.

"Ahhh… School life. Such a science experiment. A petri dish of cultivating secrets, lies and betrayal, the thriving vivarium for my evil akumas," he said as he turned a butterfly into an akuma. "Fly away, my little akuma, and evilize her!"

Marinette was dashing towards school as quickly as she could and had just gotten through the front door.

"I'm late, I'm late, I'm so, so late!" she said.

As she made her way upstairs, Alya water down the stairs running away from school. Once she got to the riverside, she pulled out her phone and attempted to call Marinette.

"It's Marinette; leave a message," said the recording. "Beep! Hehe!"

She then hunkered down depressed, and then the akuma phased into her cell phone.

"Lady Wifi, I heard through the grapevine that you're seeking to unmask Ladybug… I'd like to help you if you agree to help me too," said Hawk Moth.

"I'll expose the lies of anyone who covers up the truth!" Alya vowed. "Sign me up!"

She then began to transform into Lady Wifi.

Marinette had just entered Miss Bustier's classroom and quietly walked to her seat. She then noticed that Alya was missing. She leaned over towards Nino and tapped him on the shoulder. "Where is she?"

"She's been suspended…" Nino whispered back.

"What?!" Marinette explained

Miss Bustier turned towards her. "Marinette, if you're going to come late, would you please do it discreetly?"

"Sorry…" said Marinette apologetically and then leaned back towards Nino. "What happened to her?"

"The short story? Accused of breaking into Chloé's locker. I mean, Ladybug's locker…"

"WHAT?! Marinette yelled."

Miss Bustier turned her furiously. "That's it, Marinette! Go to the principal's office!"

Marinette sighed, took her bag and left the classroom.

"What are you talking about?" Adrian whispered to Nino.

"Exactly what I said, bro. Alya says Chloé is Ladybug! She is crazy!"

"Don't we know it?" Camilla muttered.

Adrian turned towards Chloé, who winked at him. He then quickly turned away and turned towards his tablet, beaming very confused.

Marinette had just reached outside of Principal Damocles' office and knocked on the door.

"Mr Damocles?" she said, but no one answered and then began to open the door. "Sir?" Her eyes widened when she saw Mr Damocles frozen in place with a pink stop icon on his chest, resembling a stop button. "Huh?!"

Marinette approached Mr Damocles and waved her hand in front of his face, but he didn't respond. It was almost as if someone had pressed the stop button on a video. Then suddenly, the computer screen lit up, and Lady Wifi's face appeared, and it wasn't just in the principal's office; it appeared all around the school.

"I'm Lady Wifi, revealer of the truth!" she announced, leaning against Mr Damocles. "For our first exposé, your principal would like to share a little tidbit with you. So, Mr Damocles, is it true you wrongly suspended a student named Alya today?"

"Uh… yes, it is," he said, looking ashamed.

"So, you were biased? Unfair? Totally unjust?!"

"Yes, I was."

Marinette then noticed that the phone Lady Wifi was holding, and a ladybug charm on it and she realized who it belonged to.

"Oh, no! Alya!" she said and quickly opened her purse. "Tikki, time to transform!"

"You're going to have to fight your best friend!" Tikki asked.

"Nope! I'm gonna have to save my best friend!" she corrected. "Tikki! Spots on! Yeah!"

Marinette then began to transform into Ladybug.

"For my next scoop, I'll be taking you to meet the girl who's been hiding behind the Ladybug mask!" Lady Wifi announced and then shot a pink stop icon on Mr Damocles, freezing him. "Stay connected!"

The screen then suddenly turned off.

"Everyone, for your own safety, go directly home right now!" Miss Bustier announced. "And don't forget to read chapters four and five!"

All the students then immediately ran out of the classroom.

Adrian quickly made his way to the boy's toilets.

"If Chloé is Ladybug like Alya said, then Lady Wifi's gonna head straight for her house!" Aidan concluded, opening his jacket, and Plagg flew out.

"And it also means you must have a crush on Chloé!" Plagg laughed, much to Adrian's annoyance.

"Plagg! Claws out!" Adrian yelled.

He then began to transform into Cat Noir.

At the same time, the twins also made their way to the locker room, thankfully nobody was inside.

"Seems that our hunch was right," Camilla said as their Kwamis flew out of their jackets.

"Yes it was, but your friend isn't right about Chloe," said Luupa.

"She doesn't know that and now she'll stop at nothing until she finds the identity of Ladybug," said Breeze.

"Then we're gonna stop that from happening," said Toby as he thrust his elbow down clenching his fist "It's Morphin' Time!"

Camilla gives him a deadpan look.

"What?" he asked.

"Bro, this isn't Power Rangers." she said.

"I know, I'm working on the team's main transformation catchphrase, but I'll figure it out," Toby said. "Breeze! Take Flight!"

"Luupa! It's Full Moon!"

Both of them transformed into Sky Falcon and Gray Wolf.

Scene: The city.

Cat Noir ran across the roof of the buildings before he reached the hotel, where Chloé lived. Once there, he then used his staff to spy upon Chloé in her room and was shocked to discover that she was dressed up as Ladybug.

"What? This can't be!" Cat Noir gasped.

"Who's being a sneaky kitty now?" said a voice.

Cat Noir turned and stared as Ladybug was standing next to him. "Oh, Ladybug. But—"

"Come on, you don't actually believe she's the real Ladybug," she said.

She then pulled out her yo-yo to spy upon Chloé, who was playing with her yo-yo and ended up tying herself up.

"Yeah, of course not," said Cat Noir, sounding relieved.

A wind blew from behind them as Sky Falcon landed beside him on one knee and both fists, wings retracting as Gray Wolf got off his back.

"Just from looking at her, its doesn't take a five-year-old to deduce that you two look nothing alike." Gray Wolf said.

"And besides, who would believe that she's the original Ladybug?" said Ladybug. "She's obviously just a die-hard fan. A copycat?"

"Right," Cat Noir agreed.

"Well we already know you're the real lady so no one's gonna argue," said Sky Falcon.

Scene: Chloé's room.

Chloé was now trying to untangle herself from her yo-yo when her cell phone rang. She picked herself off, hopped over towards her back, and pulled her phone out.

"Hello?" she said, answering it.

However, there was no answer; instead, the entire phone glowed bright pink. Chloé quickly tossed into the floor and then suddenly shooting out of it was Lady Wifi.

"Well, hello there, Ladybug!" she said.

Chloé tried to run away, but Lady Wifi pulled out her phone and shot a pink pause icon on Chloé, stopping her in her tracks.

"We got Wifi!" said Ladybug as they headed towards the hotel.

Lady Wifi then shot out a camera icon above Chloé. "Well, well… So my hunch was correctamundo."

Then suddenly, every television screen and computer screen around Paris showed an image of Lady Wifi.

"Everyone thinks the girl beneath the Ladybug costume is a little angel," said Lady Wifi. "Think again, people! The real Ladybug is…" She then removed Chloé's mask. "Chloé Bourgeois, everyone!"

Then suddenly bursting into the hotel were the M-Team.

"Who are you?" said Lady Wifi staring at Ladybug.

"She's a genderbent version of spiderman who is suffering from measles," said Sky Falcon sarcastically which earned a weird glance from Ladybug who he then gestured at with a serious expression, "Isn't she the real deal you're looking for?"

Lady Wifi turned towards Chloé. "But I thought you were Ladybug!"

"Sorry to bust your news story," said Cat Noir. "Next time, double-check your facts."

"You'll be sorry," Lady Wifi glared.

She then deleted the pink icons on her cellphone, which released Chloé. Chloé then continued to run across the room until she tripped and fell over. Then the screens all across the city disappeared.

"Alya?" said Ladybug.

"Alya's been disconnected," said Lady Wifi. "I'm Lady Wifi. News flash! Ladybug, let's find out who you really are!"

She then fired pause icons directly at her, and Ladybug quickly dodged them.

"Guys, Follow me!" Ladybug yelled as the team followed her.

The four of them then somersaulted directly over Lady Wifi and exited the room. Lady Wifi chased after them, firing pause icons at them as they made their way to the staircase.

"So, what's the plan?" Cat Noir asked as they ran downstairs.

"She gets her powers from her phone, so let's lead her to the basement, where there is no service!" Ladybug explained.

"No service, no power. Nice one, milady!"

Ladybug looked up and saw Lady Wifi looking down at them, then immediately fired a pause icon.

Ladybug quickly dodged it. "We've gotta go lower!"

"I've got you now, Ladybug!" Lady Wifi laughed.

Lady Wifi then looked at her phone and noticed that she was losing cell phone reception.

Ladybug and the others were currently down in the basement with their weapons ready as Sky Falcon drew out a feather shortsword from his wing pack.

"Get ready!" said Ladybug.

"So, what do you do when you're not Ladybug?" Cat Noir asked.

The three looked at him, shocked and Ladybug facepalmed herself. "Can't you see we're a little bit busy right now?"

"Yeah, now is not the time," Gray Wolf reprimanded.

Ladybug then noticed that Lady Wifi was no longer above them, and you could hear the sound of a door closing. "She's gone back into the hotel!"

The four of them quickly made their way upstairs, and then they noticed that pink lock icons were all over the doors.

"She locked all the doors!" said Cat Noir. "Hey, you realise we all might actually know each other in normal life."

"I am very much surprised that curiosity hasn't killed you yet." Sky Falcon said, looking at him.

They then finally came across a door that had no pink icon.

"She's left this one open," said Cat Noir.

"Get ready for an ambush on 3," said Ladybug. "1, 2, 3!"

They then burst into the dining with weapons at the ready, only to find that Lady Wifi was nowhere to be found. The only thing out of place was that all the tables had phones on each of them.

"Ahhh… So much for the ambush," said Cat Noir.

Follow me," said Ladybug, and they made their way towards the tables. "Where is she hiding? And what's up with all these phones?"

"Wait, didn't she jump out of Chloé's phone before?" said Gray, remembering how Lady WiFi appeared in Chloé's room.

Ladybug's eyes widened, already realizing the ambush.

Suddenly a pink light shot out of a phone, and Lady Wifi appeared. She then instantly fired a pause icon at Sky, who narrowly blocked it with his wing. They quickly split up, running in different directions.

"How now, brown cow?" said Cat Noir dodging the icons, and they quickly looked at the table up and used it as a shield. "I thought it was you she was after!"

Lady Wifi then fired another icon at him, smashing through the table, and he collided into the wall. Gray Wolf leapt to grab her attention by firing a volley of arrows at her, causing her to neutralize the arrows with her pause icons and then she sent her own barrage of icons which she side flipped over to avoid while firing her own arrows.

Ladybug then wrapped her yo-yo around Lady Wifi's wrist, but she disappeared into one phone before she had a chance to pull her towards her. A few seconds later, she reappeared above another phone on another table.

"Ha! You can't get me!" Lady Wifi laughed as she jumped from phone to phone.

"Yes, I can," said Ladybug and began swinging her yo-yo around, smashing all the phones as she slowly advanced towards her.

Lady Wifi quickly made a mad dash towards the kitchen, and Ladybug and Gray Wolf followed her. Then Lady Wifi fired a lock icon at them, but they were able to roll to safety. Unfortunately, her main target was, in fact, the door preventing Cat Noir and Sky Falcon from following them.

"No, no, no…" said Cat Noir as they attempted to open it. "Hold on in there, Ladybug! Sky, is there any other access to the kitchen?"

In his HUD, Sky Falcon began pulling up the schematics of the hotel and found the service elevator.

"There's a service elevator. Fortunately, it's big enough for two people." Sky Falcon replied.

"Good, just what we needed."

Back in the kitchen, Ladybug found it difficult to fend off Lady Wifi's attacks and even resorted to using a frying pan. Gray Wolf fired a volley of arrows at her causing her to dodge, growling in annoyance as she redirected her attacks towards the canine heroine who dodged and was about to shoot but unfortunately, she was hit with a pause icon before she could release the arrow. Ladybug took advantage of the distraction and tossed the frying pan at her and then tried to dive at her, but she disappeared at the last second. Then before she could move, Lady Wifi fired two lock icons pinning her to the wall. She then brought out a camera icon in front of her and began bringing up her image on every television and computer in the city.

"Who is Ladybug? Is she a superhero or a super-weirdo?" said Lady Wifi. "How can we trust the girl when we have no idea who she really is? We have the right to know!" She then attempted to pull off Ladybug's mask, but it won't come off. "Why doesn't it come off?"

"Uhhh… because it's magic?" said Ladybug, smugly.

It was at that moment that the service elevator door opened, and Cat Noir and Sky Falcon hopped out.

You're out of minutes, Lady Wifi!" he said

"Oh, how romantic. Lovebird and Tomcat have come to save their love bug and puppy," said Lady Wifi.

"Hunh?! No!" Sky Falcon said in disgust at the very thought of dating his own sister, "We're not even dating!!"

"I am not his love bug!" Ladybug retorted.

"We'll come back to that later," Cat Noir winked.

Unfortunately, before he had a chance to make a move, Lady Wifi began firing lock icons at both of them. They were able to dodge them and were deflecting them with their weapons. While they were occupied, Lady WiFi deleted a pink icon on her phone, releasing Gray Wolf who, at the time she was about to release an arrow, mistakenly shot Sky who was already in front of her with an explosive arrow that set off, sending him slamming into Cat Noir, both of them being knocked into the freezer room and probably locked it. Cat collided with the shelves, and his ring slipped off, releasing Plagg and turning him back into Adrien.

"My ring!" said Adrian as he began looking around for it.

"Ooh… so chilly in here," Plagg shivered.

Sky Falcon got up, groaning as he looked up to see what he never expected to see. Adrien Agreste, in the freezer room with him. He knew Adrien never came here and was with Cat Noir when they had crashed, Unless…

His friend was Cat Noir this whole time. Even nothing came out of his mouth as he wanted to speak. Adrien looked at him in fear particularly because his identity has been exposed.

"Okay, this just got awkward," Plagg said, breaking the literally cold silence.

Meanwhile, Gray Wolf had no idea of what had just happened. In her point of view, she had prepared to shoot the WiFi themed villain and the next thing she remembered, she shot her brother who suddenly appeared in front of her. She was confused.

"Well, well… what am I gonna do with both of you?" said Lady Wifi looking at Ladybug and Gray.

"Get her to use her Lucky Charm!" Hawk Moth advised. "It'll force her to switch back, and her identity will be revealed, and her Miraculous will be mine."

"If you don't get them outta there fast, your crushes will soon be slushes. Haha, ha!" Lady Wifi laughed and deleted the lock icons around Ladybug's hands, freeing her. "Good luck with your cat and bird popsicle! I have other news to cover!"

She then disappeared.

Scene: Outside Le Grand Paris.

Mayor Bourgeois and two police cars were outside.

Chloé exited the hotel and ran to her father, hugging him. Her phone then began to ring, and when she answered it, Lady Wifi shot out and flew into the sky. She then landed on the top of the hotel and began broadcasting herself across all of Paris.

"What's up, peeps!" she said. "Listen, everyone! I present you with the award-winning news story you've all been waiting for!"

Sky Falcon and Adrien were still staring at each other in shock.

"S-sky, I-I-I can explain-" Adrien stuttered, flustered and was trying to explain but was interrupted by the raised hand of Sky Falcon.

"We will talk about this later, right now,..." he said, able to find his voice as he switched his goggles to X-ray vision. "...Let's find your ring."

Outside, Ladybug and Gray tried to break down the door leading to the freezer room, but it wouldn't budge.

"I'll get you out of there guys!" Ladybug promised.

"Take your time!" Adrian shivered.

Fortunately Sky Falcon located the ring beneath the shelves as he grabbed it and tossed it to him. "Catch!"

Adrien caught it. "Thanks."

"Don't blink, 'cause Ladybug's about to drop the bomb on her real identity!" Lady Wifi announced.

Ladybug realized she had no choice, but he used her power. "Lucky Charm!"

She flung her yo-yo into the air, and appearing out of thin air was a red box with black spots.

"This better be some lucky box…" she frowned.

They both looked at the box and noticed that its markings indicated that this was not supposed to be placed in a microwave.

"A non-microwave safe box, where on earth is this thing getting at?" Gray Wolf said, a bit annoyed.

Her eyes then turned towards the lock icon on the door and then to the microwave.

"Of course, the microwaves!" she said, getting an idea.

She quickly unplugged the microwave and inserted the box inside it. She placed it on a trolley and pushed it against the door. She then replugged the microwave and turned it on full power before Gray Wolf, already understanding what she was trying to do, kicked it towards the icon.

"Come on, micro-thingies, jam this signal…" said Ladybug.

The microwave had successfully melted away the lock icon, but then it short-circuited and prided itself. Ladybug quickly pushed the trolley to one side and opened the door to see Sky Falcon who was crouching and had formed a tent with his wings which he unfolded, revealing a shivering Cat Noir who got up only to fall out, and Ladybug caught him as Gray Wolf helped her brother up.

"You okay, Cat Noir?" Ladybug asked, and then her Miraculous began to beep.

"You used your Lucky Charm… there's not much time left," said Cat Noir.

"Exactly!" Lady Wifi smiled.

"Open the kitchen door!" said Cat Noir.

"We could, but the microwave's busted," said Gray Wolf.

Ladybug then got an idea. "That's it! Here's what to do, listen to me…"

The team huddled together as Ladybug was whispering something.

Cat Noir giggled while he separated, putting a pan over the top of the camera icon, blocking Lady Wifi's screen.

"What is she up to?" said Lady Wifi

"Don't let my Miraculous get away!" Hawk Moth commanded.

"Right!" Lady Wifi nodded.

"Okay, You guys know what to do," Ladybug asked in which they nodded.

"M-Team!" She stretched her right hand forward for her teammates to place their right hands together over the other, "Let's do this!"

The three then stepped away from Sky Falcon as he looked up towards the ceiling while activating his X-ray vision to find a clear path. Once he found one he yelled "SkyDive!"

His wings unfolded as he immediately shot up into the air, spinning along the way and cutting through each floor as a result all in a blinding speed, scaring the living daylights out of the hotel guests in each room, and finally making it to the roof and stopped short above the surface in front of a surprised Lady WiFi, flapping his wings midair.

The rest of them jumped out of the hole and the team quickly engaged her in combat. She then immediately fired pause icons at them only for Sky and Gray to block the attacks and keep her occupied as Ladybug and Cat Noir front flipped over them as they rushed forward to the WiFi antenna.

"Here it is," said Ladybug.

Cat Noir nodded. "Cataclysm!"

Cat Noir was just about to touch the antenna with his destructive power when electricity charged through it, and Lady Wifi appeared on top of it.

"Nice idea, kitty cat, but I'm not gonna let you cut me off so easily!" she said and began firing pink pause icons at both of them which was countered with several arrows, neutralizing them as Sky Falcon and Gray Wolf joined them.

Ladybug heard her Miraculous beep again, warning her that she had less than three minutes. She sighed as she swung her yo yo at her which she blasted with her phone. This gave Cat Noir enough time to reach the antenna without her noticing.

"Nooooo!" Lady Wifi yelled.

Cat Noir then touched the antenna, which began to crumble, and Lady Wifi felt the ground. With the signal now lost, the pink icons on the kitchen door disappeared, allowing her to escape.

"Lost the signal!" said Lady Wifi looking at her phone.

"Gimme that phone!"

Cat Noir attempted to grab the phone, but she easily dodged him and kicked him away.

"Alpha's Howl!" Gray Wolf unleashed her sonic attack, causing Lady WiFi to cover her ears and double over in pain, giving Ladybug the opportunity to wrap her yo yo around her wrist, holding the phone.

With one good tug, Ladybug was able to force her to drop the phone, which she then caught and then smashed on the ground. The moment it broke, the akuma flew out of the phone and attempted to fly away.

"No more evildoing for you, little akuma," said Ladybug, swinging her yo-yo. "Time to de-evilize!" She then swung the yo-yo catching the akuma before it could escape. "Gotcha! She then released it now the purified butterfly fluttered away. "Bye-bye, little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug!"

She then tossed her Lucky Charm into the air, and the magical ladybirds began fixing the damage. A few seconds later, Lady Wifi turns back into Alya.

"What?" said Alya.

The M-Team then bumped fists. "Pound it!"

"The M-Team! Wow!" Alya beamed, looking at the four of them. "Can I get a quick interview? Just let me grab my phone!"

Cat Noir then heard his Miraculous beeping and looked at Ladybug. "Uhh… you should go. You've only got a minute."

"So—" said Alya, pulling out her phone and discovering that Ladybug had disappeared. "Oh, no! Where did Ladybug go?"

"She went to detransform, and we will soon but we'll quickly tell you what you need to know." said Cat Noir.

Gray Wolf then placed a hand on her shoulder and started listing out, "One, Chloé is not Ladybug; Two, Chloé is not Ladybug; Three, next time you have a new scoop, make sure you double check, triple check, quadruple check thoroughly and even consult us before jumping to conclusions and deeming them true. Do you understand?"

"Yeah, I got it."

Sky Falcon then spoke up, "Well, looks like our work here is done, Let's roll."

He then gave a two finger salute before leaping off the edge of the roof with Cat Noir and Gray Wolf following.

Ladybug entered the reception room and immediately dashed towards the nearest room. A second later, The three heroes had landed in the reception room as they started walking.

Cat Noir's mind was still on what had transpired in the freezer, which didn't go unnoticed by Sky Falcon who placed a hand on his shoulder, bringing him out of his thoughts. "Relax, Adrien. No one knows about your identity. It's safe with us."

"I'm sorry if I didn't hear correctly, but did you just say 'Adrien'?" Gray Wolf asked, shocked.

"Yeah, he's Cat Noir," he replied which caused her to briefly look at the cat hero and all she had to do was imagine him and Adrien together.

"I can see the resemblance."

"Okay, since you guys know my identity, It's only fair if I know yours, right?"

"Well, we'll have to discuss it privately," said Gray Wolf as they entered the same room Ladybug had entered just in time to see her detransform into- Marinette?!?

Speaking of who, Marinette felt dread after they saw her detransform with wide eyes, most especially Adrien who was trying to comprehend the person he loved was a student in the same class as him. To Camilla, It made so much sense as to why Marinette would be absent the same time as her and also the previous lack of motivation during the Stoneheart incident.

"Marinette?" Cat Noir whispered.

The twins glanced at each other and they could tell that this moment just got awkward. Wow, talk about déjà vu.

They also didn't expect the next thing to happen.

"Plagg, Claws In."

He detransformed back to Adrien which at the sight of him, caused Marinette to hyperventilate. Her identity was just exposed to her team, and combine that with the discovery that the humorous Cat Noir was the same guy she was crushing on. Definitely a recipe for passing out which she was about to do if not for Adrien's reflexes, preventing her from doing so.

The twins had no choice. They had discovered their teammates' identities and it was remaining them This was not how they wanted to reveal themselves. Sky Falcon gave a nervous grin while Gray Wolf sighed.

"Breeze, Cease Flight."

"Luupa, It's Lunar Eclipse."

They both detransformed much to the surprise of the others.

"Well Adrien, are you satisfied with your answer now?" asked Toby in his normal accent albeit nervously.

"Yeah."

"At least everyone knows who the other is, it's easier now," said Plagg which caused Tikki to groan in exasperation.

Marinette then opened the door and, upon seeing that no one was around, turned back to others, "We're all clear. We'll talk on the way back. Let's go."

And with that, they quickly exited the hotel.

"Your mask will fall one day, Ladybug," Hawk Moth vowed. "You'll have no choice then but to hand over your precious Miraculous!"

Then the window at his lair closed.

Scene: Dupain-Cheng House.

Marinette was on the balcony with Camilla and their kwamis and Marinette was having a video chat with both Adrien in his room and Toby in his own room separately.

"So, you're Ladybug this entire time?" said Adrien nervously started the conversation and Marinette slowly nodded."Well, it's still a shock."

"Can you imagine how I felt when I found out you're Cat Noir? I mean, you two look the same, yet you're also different from each other." Marinette said.

"Hey, I'm not the only one, I never expected the cocky Sky Falcon to be the tall gentle friend," he said, pointing at Toby.

'Him? Gentle? Do not make me laugh.' Camilla thought with a scoff.

"And now I can see how you two are always together," he continued.

"But I think we shouldn't have discovered each other's identities, nobody must know who we really are, not even us," said Marinette, "What if one of you gets akumatized and then Hawk Moth can easily get our miraculous."

"Marinette, I have watched more than enough movies and TV shows to know that in a superhero team, It's important that every team member must know each other's identities so as to avoid future problems and to strengthen the trust," Toby said from his room, "And it is that kind of trust that we need in each other to not get akumatized."

"Yeah but still, It wasn't supposed to happen."

It was then Camilla spoke up, "Hate to say this, but TJ's right. Besides, we can't undo what has already happened, so now we have to be ready to handle the consequences that come our way."

Marinette contemplated and then nodded in understanding.

"You know, Marinette, There's something I've always wanted to tell you as Ladybug," said Adrien after exhaling.

"Oh boy, here we go," said Toby as he leaned back in his chair, bringing out a bag of popcorn, watching in anticipation.

"During the Stoneheart incident, I once said to myself that I loved whoever was under the Ladybug mask, and then seeing it was you, turns out that I've been in love with you this whole time."

"R-really?"

"Yeah, It's okay if-"

"I feel the same way for you, the Adrien you. I find it ironic since we're technically in love with each other. "

Then there was an awkward silence between the two. Then Adrien spoke up

"So, are we-"

"I thought of it, and we shouldn't get way too ahead of ourselves, we'll have to take this one step at a time. Who knows what'll happen if Hawk Moth knows we're dating."

"That is actually a wise choice," said Camilla, "And since we're in the same class, it'll be easy now."

"Yeah, and we have so many things to cover like training, meditation, and also timetables to determine which of us would be available to avoid all of us going at once, understood?" said Toby in which they nodded.

"We'll see you guys tomorrow," said Adrien. And with that, they hung up.

"Got it!" Alya's voice yelled.

"Waaahhh!" Marinette panicked, Camilla got into a defensive stance while Tikki and Luupa quickly hid behind them.

Alya then stepped onto the balcony. "Wanna see my new smartphone? It puts my old phone to shame! Just look at these pics!"

Alya began showing Marinette all the pictures on her phone they were all Adrian. "Huh? What's with all these photos of Adrien?"

"Well… with a mask and a costume, don't you think he looks a little bit like Cat Noir?" said Alya showing her picture of Adrien, but covered coloured in black ink to resemble a cat costume.

"Are you out of your mind?" said Marinette, Thinking quickly to preserve her partner's identity, "He's tons more legit than Cat Noir!"

"Hey! I happened to think that Cat Noir is pretty slick."

"Anyway, stop taking photos of Adrien. Well, unless you give them to me, afterwards," said Marinette and snatched her phone away.

"Give it back!" Alya yelled, chasing after her.

"Nope!"

"Oh, come on, Marinette! What if you drop it? Everyone knows how clumsy you are!"

"Okay,  Hey Cami, Catch!" yelled Marinette as she tossed the phone over to her as they played phone potatoes.

The three girls laughed as they ran over the balcony.

Now, I know what you guys are thinking and yes, I agree the reveal was too soon. The reason is I needed to try something new, explore a possibility that What if... they knew who the other is. And also to avoid something repetitive in other fanfics I've read. I just needed this to stand out. Even if it's just for one season.
