December 31, 2017-January 1, 2018

Marinette's POV

When I got home my mom welcomed me with a punch and a slurred "go to your room." When I got there I made sure I locked the door, then worked on my homework til I was done which I thought was weird cause it was the first day of school, and the day before New Years.  I have a tv in my room and i was watching the news when they started the countdown 10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1

"Happy New Years dad" was the last thing i said before i felt sick and had to lay down.

Adrien's POV

After school I was waiting for my chauffeur to show up when Nino says "hey dude, dad not here yet"

"No Nino my dad doesn't pick me up from school my chauffeur does but he's not here either" I say back

"Too bad dude if your old man did pick you up i was gonna ask if you could come over and spend New Years with me and my family."

"I would love that but we have plans" I say sadly

"Beep,Beep" I hear the Jeep go.

"see ya Nino" I say as I get in the Jeep.  "Why the Jeep Gorilla" I ask my Chauffeur, he doesn't mind that I call him that

"Cause your father told me to take the Jeep, Cat" We have weird nicknames for each other. When I got home I told my parents about my day they seem weird for some reason like they know something i don't. After dinner they tell me to go to my room to get ready for Chloe's New Year Party I'm forced to go to. 

"Uggg" I say when I get to my room frustrated about having to see Chloe and hang out with her all night. I hope I'm not near her when the clock strikes midnight. *shudders* 

"Adrien time to go, Limo's here" his mother calls

"Coming" he yells back.

"Now Adrien this year is going to be different, we're going to leave before midnight ok??" my mother explained to me 

"Yes mam i understand" I say in return.  After we arrive Chloe comes running, but I slink into the crowd before she can reach me which makes her furious.

"MOVE PEOPLE!!!" she yells as she tries to make it through the crowd.

"Adrien time to leave" my mom says

"K... Yes mam" I say quickly as I get out of my hiding spot from Chloe.  As I get in the car people start counting down and the more time that goes by the sicker I felt.  When they got to one I was already passed out.
