(It is tragic that Kirby Morrow passed away. He brought to life one of the best characters in the series. Cole is one of my favorites because he is the rock of the group. I love how he is always there for others and stands up for them. Oh! We also have one of my favorite Fire Emblem pairings! Enjoy!) 

(Cole's POV)

                 We arrived at a ruin than a temple. Who even lives here?

"Cole, we should make sure the Miraculous is safe" Wayzz said as he finally spoke.

"Right" I answered as we turned to Hunk, "Hey, can we see the Miraculous and Kwamii please? Wayzz wants to make sure he is ok"

Hunk nodded his head as he held out the Miraculous. It was a hair clip, so Hunk put it in his hair as a white light shined. Hunk held out his hands as the Kwamii appeared.

"Next time, we need cushions. That fall was not fun" the Kwamii said, exhausted and relieved, "Ah, nice to see you again. I am Ziggy! Thank you for finding me!"

"No problem, little guy" Hunk said warmly, "If you are hungry, I can cook something for you"

"Really?!" Ziggy asked excitedly as Hunk grinned and got to work making something for us.

I sat away from the group as Wayzz sat in my hair. I can't believe my mother was here and did something. I knew she was something else, but I didn't realize she was the Elemental Master before me.

"Cole?" my dad asked as he looked at me.

"What?" I asked dejected as I didn't bother to look at him.

"I know you're mad at me, but please listen, I had a reason for this" my dad explained as I shook my head.

"Sure, you did" I answered annoyed, "You knew mom was someone amazing, but you didn't bother to tell me. Instead, you made me move on and focus on dance and school. Forget it, dad"

I picked myself up and walked deeper into the temple. I could hear my father sigh, but I didn't want to listen. I really didn't care at this point.

(Hunk's POV)

I wish I could help my best pal, but I am not sure how.

"Is he ok?" Ziggy asked worriedly.

"Sort of. His dad kept a secret from him. Cole's not happy about it" I answered him unsure.

"You want to protect your friend?" Hawkeye asked as he stared at me.

"No! Well, yes. I want to help him more than protect" I answered nervously as I rubbed the back of my neck, "Cole's a tough person. Toughest I know besides Shiro. So, it is surprising to see him upset. I just want to help him. Be a friend to him"

My phone buzzed as I realized it was from Shay! Ah, that's right! She was supposed to pick us up!

"Excuse me! I have to take this!" I exclaimed and bowed my head as Hawkeye stood up and marched back to the temple.

I wonder what is up with him.

"He means well" Miss Louise said with a smile as she sat next to me, "Hawkeye has been a long time, so he isn't used to other people visiting him"

"He's not?" I asked surprised.

"Oh, no. He was raised in the desert by himself" she answered as I texted Shay to reassure her that I was safe and would meet with her later, "He only met us five years ago. We were researching some kind of power in the temple when we crossed paths with him. My husband fought and won, but we met Hawkeye's teacher who informed us of the situation in Sumeru"

"Really?" I asked as I tilted my head at her.

"Oh, yes. My husband and I love adventure and learning something new, whether it makes sense the first time or not. Sumeru was always an interesting place, but we never had a chance to fully explore it. Mainly, because Hawkeye is very protective of it. Now, tell me about your friend. Is he going to be ok?" Miss Louise replied warmly.

"I hope so, but I can't really do anything about it. I can only give him advice and help when he needs it" I answered her sadly, "I know Cole loved his mother, but I don't know anything else about him"

"Then it is time for my wife and I to divide and conquer" Mr. Pent said with a grin as he rose to his feet, "I'll speak with his father and see what I can learn. My wonderful wife can help your friend. After all, I may be a dad soon"

I felt my expression turn into delight as I faced Mrs. Louise to congratulate her, but she laughed.

"Oh, I am not pregnant" she said with a shake of her head, "My husband does want to be a father, but not too soon if you ask me"

She laughed at my expression as Mr. Pent walked to Mr. Lou. I looked at Mr. Louise who helped me stand up. We walked after Cole and into the temple as Ziggy sat on my shoulder.

"So, are we going to help Cole unlock his power?" Ziggy asked curiously.

"Hopefully, but we should help him first" I answered my partner as we walked after them.

(Pent's POV)

I don't see why I cannot ask if my wife is pregnant. I know she and I would make wonderful parents! If we have a girl, I will spoil her rotten! Ah, but first things first.

"Are you alright, Luo?" I asked as I sat across from him.

"Ah, not really" he confessed in a sadden tone, "I am not sure how I can even help my son now. He's so much liked his mother. Oh, Lily would know what to do. I wish she were here"

I knew his mother passed away, but I didn't realize that Cole was so much like her. Hm, maybe he saw too much of his mother in his own son.

"Why would she know what to do?" I asked as I tried to help him.

"She was the former Elemental Master of Earth. I know it was inevitable that my son would inherit her powers. He has her determination and will to stand up to others who couldn't stand up for themselves"

Ah, he did inherit her powers and more than her strength. I wonder why he didn't want his own son to unlock this power.

"Why did you not want your son to unlock this power?" I asked curiously.

"Because then he might suffer the same fate as her! I don't want to lose my son like I lost my wife. I will not survive through that..." he said in dismay.

That's right. She died using her power and protecting this place, I believe. Hm, perhaps we need to have Cole unlock his power and protect this place as well. I don't believe in coincidences because I believe there is a reason he was brought here.

"Did you ever come here?" I asked as I tried to form a plan.

"Yes" he said with a smile, "I came here to sing for a theater. She was attending and saw me dancing and singing. She then came backstage after she broke my security guards to meet with me. She was a fantastic woman"

Love does take many forms.

"I know the feeling. I met my wife as she was practicing archery for her school. I was walking home with my two friends as one of them suggested we take a short cut through the course. She released her arrow as it struck my shoulder. I was so impressed with her aim, skill, kindness, and beauty that day as I was being rushed to the hospital" I reflected with a smile.

"There is something very wrong with you and the humans of this era" Vioarr informed me.

"Love takes many forms. This happens to be our form. Also, you've seen how strong my wonderful wife is. I love her for that" I replied to him as Luo chuckled.

"Ah, Lily would've loved to meet your wife. I could imagine her asking Louise how to use a bow" he said in relief.

"And knowing my wife, she would want to learn some hand-to-hand combat. She was always a fighter" I added as we both shared a laugh.

We are a unique pair of men, but I am sure we can figure this out together.

"Why was your wife here? Did she have family?" I asked as I kept talking.

"Yes. The Elemental Masters of Earth have always lived here. They worked with the guardian of the Afri Miracle Box to protect an ancient item that only someone of Afri blood can wield, the Shield of Afri" he explained, "My wife was tasked with protecting that with the guardian who has quite grown since the last I saw him. I am surprised he doesn't hate me"

"Hawkeye is rather stoic and quiet, but he would never hate anyone unless they attacked his home and friends. If anything, he was sad that he lost a dear friend, but I know he was happy too. She was rather lonely here and wanted to experience something different. I am sure he is pleased with her decision to leave. I am also sure your wife didn't regret a moment of leaving her home to be with you and your son" I reassured him.

"Thank you, Pent. That does relieve me, but I know have to explain that to my son who is just as stubborn as his mother" he said with a little laugh, "I suppose I should've seen this coming. He would want to learn about his mother one day. I just wish it didn't involve some grand adventure and saving the world from ruins"

I personally think that's what makes life fun, but I know that is not for everyone.

"Well, why don't we go and speak with him? I am sure he has calmed down" I reassured him as I glanced at the entrance to the temple.

The sandstorm was still brewing, so I am unsure of how long we will have to remain here. Hopefully, not too long. Otherwise, I am not unsure how Luo and his son will make up. Speaking of his son, where did he go? I turned to the tunnels and noticed it was empty and that our other friends and family were missing. Well, that's interesting.

"Where did they go?" Luo asked as he stood up and looking for them.

"I assume Hawkeye led them deeper into the temple" I answered calmly as I noticed his panicked expression, "We can deeper into the temple if you wish, but it might be best if we wait here"

Luo shifted his feet as he sighed.

"As much as you want to help your son, your son also has to stand on his own too" I pointed out, "He's already doing that, but are you going to let him?"

He remained quiet as he sat by the fire. I could only smile as I pondered on being a potential father in the future. I should clarify, my wife and I do want kids. We are just unsure when to have kids. Hopefully not too late, but I will only be ready if my wonderful wife is. As for them, I am sure they are fine. After all, this temple is strong enough to remain hidden from outsiders for a long time. I am sure it will remain like that for more years to come.

(Cole's POV)

"And why is it only now that I am learning stuff about my mother?! Seriously, it doesn't make any sense to me!" I exclaimed to Wayzz as I continued to follow Hawkeye.

"Well, I don't know much about the Elemental Masters, but your mother must've been someone important" Wayzz reasoned as he let me get out my frustrations.

"Your mother and you are a descendant of the first Elemental Master of Earth who created this temple to house the Shield of Afri after a few incidents were documented of it" Hawkeye answered as I looked at big guy, "I am sure the Author had no intention of gaining popularity, but those books are dangerous if a person believes it to be true. So, the Elemental Master of Earths created this temple to protect the shield and the Miracle Box"

So, my mother protected the Shield of Afri and the Miracle Box? Makes me wonder why she married my dad and left this place.

"I suppose it is only your birthright and my respect for your mother that I even dare show you the location of the shield" he said as I shook my head.

"I thought the shield was lost to time itself" I asked unsure, "Also, yeah those are stories from the Age of Fairytales. None of it is real"

"And yet you have the Elemental Power of Earth, a magical creature on your shoulder, and I have obtained the power of the gods. Nothing is a fairytale" Hawkeye answered as I couldn't help but agree with him.

"So, what is this place?" I asked as I got a good look at it.

It was an old temple, but there's something about it. Maybe because it is hidden away and I never thought to find this, but there is something else about it.

"This is the Shrine of Seals" Hawkeye answered, "The place where the Guardian of the Miracle Box of Afri and Shield of Afri remain"

I looked pass him to a golden alter holding a beautiful, golden shield with many different gems on it. Whoa. That's impressive. I always thought it was a fairytale, but I guess it is real. I am starting to think there are no such things as fairytales, but who really knows.

"Can anyone from Afri use this shield?" I asked curiously as I thought about using it when I am fighting with Wayzz.

"As long as the blood of Afri flows through your veins, you can lift the shield" Hawkeye answered dramatically, "But those who try to lift the shield that do not have the blood will not be able to"

Figured as much. The Legend of East and West proved that much. Only those born in their respective countries could wield the items. Though, I do not get how the Three Dragons of Asiand worked since you would have to inherit it.

"So, did my mother ever use it?" I asked curiously.

"She did" Hawkeye answered with a grin on his strong face, "She was a strong lady and fought anyone who dare threatened us and our homeland. Nothing stopped her. She was a mountain of power!"

Wow. My mother is awesome! I suddenly realized something as I sat down to look up at the shield.

"Why did my mother give this all up?" I asked confused, "She had a wonderful life here. Why would she walk away from it all to have me?"

I glanced down, dismayed as Wayzz tried his best to comfort me. Hawkeye then sat in front of me with an intimidating expression on his face. I shifted back and nervously watched him.

"I may have been harsh on you" he spoke calmly, "You're still learning your powers and abilities. I was in shock"

"Why?" I asked surprised.

"Your mother left, because she found love and happiness" Hawkeye replied, "I did not understand why she would want to leave, but after seeing you, I understand. You are not what I expected from her, but I am envious that you were with your mother until the end"

Oh. I didn't realize this. My mother was important to him as well. She really meant a lot to others.

"I miss her too..." I answered sadly, "But what she taught me helped me and my friends out a lot. It was thanks to her that helped me save my friends a lot of the times"

"Your friends are interesting, aren't they?" Hawkeye asked as I let out a laugh.

"You have no idea how interesting they are" I replied as I grinned, "Some are responsible, but most of them are not. They mean well, but they can be a handful. I'm there to make sure they do not cause more trouble"

Hawkeye was bewildered as I simply laughed.

"If you ever come to North America, I will introduce you to them! I think you'll have some fun! You do know what fun is right? I hope my mom let you have some!" I said with a grin as Hawkeye smiled at me.

I grinned at him as I finally calmed down. Sure, I am still hurt about my dad not telling me anything about my mother.

"I am sure he had a good reason for keeping this a secret" Hawkeye reassured me, "I too would keep a secret from my daughter if she didn't have to live the life I did. I am sure your mother would not want you to be in harm's way if she knew you could have a better life than hers"

He's not wrong. My mother did everything she could to keep my father and I happy and enjoying our lives. I can see her doing something like that.

"Hey, is everything ok?" Hunk asked as he ran up to us with Ziggy on his shoulders, "Man, this temple is really big. Bigger than you would think"

He was panting as he had his hands on his knees. I nodded my head as Mrs. Louise joined up with us.

"Ah, it is warm to see you in your natural state" she said warmly.

"I guess so" I answered as I glanced at the shield, "So, do you think I am here to protect the shield?"

"I am not sure" Hawkeye answered, "The shield has shown no signs of awakening. I do not know if it will ever open itself up to us again. Perhaps that is good. We have no need for the shield in this time"

"Really?" Hunk asked as he sat down in relief.

"The shield, along with the other weapons around the world, were only activated when the world itself was in danger" Mrs. Louise answered thoughtfully, "Since the world isn't in danger, I suppose the weapons have no reason to active nor find a holder"

That kind of sucks, but it also makes sense. I don't want the shield to be used if it doesn't need to be used. Hunk was looking at it as he tilted his head.

"So, is it true? Can it really protect itself from anything?" Hunk asked curiously.

"Supposedly so" I answered as Mrs. Louise nodded her head in agreement.

Hunk simply nodded his head as he glanced back to Ziggy.

"Does that mean you've seen it before?" he asked curiously.

"Oh, yes. One time or another one" he answered with a grin, "It can protect anyone with the blood of Afri from any harm. Of course, if anyone else uses it, they will not be able to. But we should leave it alone if we really don't need to use it"

"Got it! Doesn't want to be used, so we won't use it! Hey, we found you, so we should head back home, right?" Hunk asked me curiously.

"Huh. I didn't think about it" I confessed unsure, "We did find the Miraculous, but I can't help but feel like we have more things to do here"

"Well, it is your call" Hunk said to him, "You're in charge. I just kind of tagged along"

Well, we did find Ziggy and some information about this country. Of course, I am sure I should not let everyone know about this place. Hm, I've got to be careful about what I say.

"To my knowledge, the sandstorm is still occurring" Mrs. Louise said as she tapped her cheek, "I wouldn't go out in a sandstorm until it passes and even then, aren't you meeting with your friend?"

"Ah! Shay!" Hunk exclaimed as he stood up and grabbed his phone, "Uh, do you think we can hang out long enough with Shay before going back home?"

It is not like Hunk can see her every day.

"Sure thing" I answered him with a nod of my head.

"You're the best buddy!" Hunk exclaimed in relief as Mrs. Louise laughed at him.

Well, things should be smooth from here since we found the missing Miraculous. So, I don't see why we can't rest here for a few days. I am sure everyone else will be busy with their own missions anyway.

(Pent's POV)

Luo was resting as I looked at the scene before us. They were taking their time for sure. I wonder why. Unless they are taking their time, but I do not think so. I honestly believe they are resting for a moment.

"Is everything alright?" Luo asked as I picked up a malicious aura from the sandstorm.

"No. Stand up and come with me" I said seriously as I transformed and helped him up.

"What is going on?" Luo asked as I motioned him to be quiet.

We moved to the wall and waited. I could hear someone coming towards us as I tried to peek at who it could be.

"Find the shield and the new source of power" the lady answered as I saw creatures of darkness rising from the ground!

I quickly covered Luo's mouth with my hand as I thought about our situation. I can hold them off until the others arrive. Luo could even alert them if I send him back. Well, I suppose this it.

"Must you cause this much trouble" Vioarr asked with a sigh.

"But that is the reason you formed a bond with me" I answered as my hand glowed over Luo to teleport him to his son, "Now, let's fight!"

I stepped out and approached my foe. It was a young lady wearing a black cloak as her yellow eyes glared at me. Ah, that's new, but interesting too.

"I am the Fancy Mage" I declared before her, "I accept your surrender"

She and her undead army didn't make a move. I won't either. It isn't polite for a man to attack first when a lady is in his presence. She glanced at me and then the undead army she created.

"Kill him and anyone who is in your way, my Risen" she ordered before vanishing into darkness.

Risen? That's not possible!

"How do you know that spell?!" I demanded as I rushed towards her.

I phased right through her spell of darkness and shook my head. She got away from me, but I will make sure to do my research when I get back from this. For now, I have my work before me.

"Very well" I said as I charged up my magic in one hand, "If you do not wish to get hurt, then leave. If not, then let me defeat you in one swift, strike!"

The Risens charged at me as I swiftly cast my magic. I am sure the others will be able to handle the situation before she arrives, I hope.

(Cole's POV)

As we prepared to return to the entrance, Mrs. Louise and Hawkeye were alert.

"Is something wrong?" I asked as I glanced to them.

"I sense my husband's magic" Mrs. Louise said as she glanced around until a green flash appeared before us!

"Ah!" my father shouted with worry as he landed before us.

"Dad?!" I exclaimed as I helped him up while Hunk asked worriedly, "Are you alright, Mr. Luo?"

"Where is my husband?" Mrs. Louise asked seriously.

"We were resting at the entrance until he noticed someone coming. He used his powers to teleport me here" my dad explained worriedly, "Something is coming"

Wayzz and I shared a look as I said, "Then I'll help him"

"Don't! This is something different! Something dangerous!" he said worriedly.

"What was it?" Mrs. Louise asked calmly, "My husband has his magic and can handle himself in almost any situation. If this person scares you, then I do worry how he will fair. He can only handle himself for so long"

"It was magic, but dark" my dad explained nervously, "This magic is something different. This magic raised the dead"

Everyone froze as we registered what my dad just said.

"Raised the dead?" Hunk asked nervously as Ziggy glanced at Wayzz.

"But that spell should've been lost to the Age of Fairytales" Ziggy pointed out nervously.

"Unless a person of dark magic somehow kept it" Wayzz reasoned, "It wouldn't surprise me if that was the case, but I wonder how they got their hands on it"

"How dangerous is the spell?" Hawkeye asked seriously.

"This spell can raise the dead and command it" Wayzz informed us, "The only way to stop it is to find the caster and stop them"

"I should be able to find the person" Mrs. Louise said calmly, "I am good at tracking and searching. I should be able to find the caster. You have to distract the Risen and protect the shield and Miraculous. Can you do this?"

"We've got this" I answered by punching my fist in my hand, "Ready to go, Wayzz, Ziggy, and Hunk?"

"Wait me?" Hunk asked surprised as he pointed at himself.

"We need all the help we can get, Hunk. No time to sit and hide. We've got to do our part" I said seriously to him.

He nodded his head and turned to Ziggy.

"So, I've never done this before, so how do I do that?" Hunk asked nervously.

"Just say is "Bleat it" or "Transform me". As for your power, you just have to say "Genesis" and think of the object you want to create" Ziggy explained calmly to Hunk.

"Oh, ok. That doesn't sound too hard" Hunk said as I grinned.

Unlike him, I am ready for this!

"Wayzz, Transform me!" I shouted as he flew into the bracelet.

Hawkeye transformed into his hero form as Mrs. Louise rushed to find the person casting the spell. I turned to Hunk who was still nervous.

"You've got this" I reassured him.

"Right, I can do this! It is just like cooking! Except the chances of dying are much higher than before" Hunk said as he put the hairclips in his hair, "Ok, transform me Ziggy! Please!"

In a flash of black and white light, they transformed.

(Hunk's POV)

Wow! Wow! This is something different! I don't know if I like this or not! I saw Ziggy flying into the hairclips. I looked at myself to see a new outfit forming. My hair is tied up by a white hairband. I gained strong, pristine gloves and black boots. I had a black, heat resistance pants and a strong, black shirt. A white coat appeared over my shirt and buttoned up. I had a black mask over my face as a paintbrush appeared in my hands.

"Huh, that's something I will never get used to" I confessed as I looked at myself.

"I am going to be honest; I didn't think you would pick a chief outfit" Shell Shocker asked impressed, "So, what's your hero name?"

"Oh, right, I need one of those! Uh, Gentle Goat!" I answered with a grin, "Because I will fight, but I will be gentle about it to the best of my abilities!"

"Whatever works for you, my friend" he replied as we turned to Hawkeye and Mr. Luo, "So, what do you want us to do?"

"Attack first. I will stay here and protect the box, the shield, and your father" Hawkeye ordered, "And call me the Desert Wanderer"

Cole and I nodded as we rushed to fight the enemies who are the undead. Yeah, I am not sure how this is going to go. We stood at the entrance and found a few zombies coming towards us!

"What is this?!" I shouted in a scared tone as I stood behind Cole.

"Probably the enemies we were supposed to fight. Are you ready?" Cole asked as he put up his fists.

I am glad one of us is ready for a fight, because I am not sure how I can fight these things myself. Cole ran forward as he punched one in the face. The zombie hit the ground, but it got itself up!

"It didn't go down!" I shouted as I pointed at it.

"They are zombies! They don't go down!" Cole shouted as he threw another one into a wall, "We just have to keep them busy until Mrs. Louise can defeat the caster"

I sighed as Cole kicked another one. The one he threw into a wall was coming towards me! I let out a scream as I ran the other way.

"How do I fight?!" I exclaimed as Cole glanced to me.

He threw his shield to knock it back, but it was still coming! I looked at the paintbrush in my hands. Cole gets a shield, but come on, a paintbrush? How can anyone fight with that? Well, I better try something before this thing tries to hurt me! I swung the paintbrush with all my might to slam it into a wall!

"Oh! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to swing the brush like that!" I exclaimed to the zombie who was groaning in pain.

"Hey, Gentle Goat, a zombie is dead and doesn't have any emotions nor thoughts. I don't think it cares" Shell Shocker replied with a grin as he punched another one into a wall.

"Oh, right" I said in relief as I held the paintbrush and saw Shell Shocker's shield on the ground, "Heads up!"

I kicked the shield up, swung the paintbrush, and used it knock the shield back to Shell Shocker's side. Shell Shocker instinctively struck his hand out to catch the shield, swung it, and knocked the zombie back.

"Nice teamwork! Let's keep it up!" he said with a grin.

"I've got your back!" I answered determinedly as I held the paintbrush and ran forward to help him.

(Hawkeye's POV)

I could hear their conversation and could only grin. He's leading his friend well.

"I hope they can do this" Luo said nervously.

"You trusted Lily with fighting and protecting you, correct?" I asked him seriously as I slammed my axe on the ground.

"Of course, I do! Lily was a strong lady who could handle anything she was thrown at!" he said determinedly.

"And your son is also her son. Do not worry and have faith in him. He will not be under your care forever" I informed him "You will have to learn that he is ready to stand on his own and follow his own path"

Luo was surprised as he hesitantly waited behind the alter while holding the miracle box. I glanced to search for Pent and Louise. I didn't see either of them. What are they doing?

(Louise's POV)

I ran through the temple as I searched for the caster. I could hear the boys fighting, but I hope they can last longer until I find the caster. Of course, that will be easier said than done. This temple is massive, and we have mapped out everything of it yet.

"Where do I look?" I wondered as I continued to run.

"If I may, perhaps I could sense the power, Lady Louise" Frijo, my god, suggested with a grin, "This is a dark magic as the Kwamii spoke of, but there is more to it than that"

"What is it?" I asked as I listened to her and decided to sit by a pillar.

"Dark magic gives off its own power. I wouldn't be surprised if Hawkeye and your husband could sense this as well. However, if the caster is strong, they can cloak their magic to be that of light magic" Frijo explained, "I am picking up two sources of magic. One is your husband, and the other is the caster"

"I see. Well, my husband does have a unique magical source" I recalled with a grin, "You can pick up his magic?"

"I already did. Your husband is at the front of the entrance, so the second source is at the back of it" Frijo informed me as I turned the other way and ran down the hall.

I put my bow back and held an arrow as I remained quiet. Frijo informed me that the magic was getting stronger as I remained quiet.

"More and more. Conflict shall fuel the gateway to other realms" the caster spoke as I listened to her.

The other realms? So, the legend of 16 realms is true, but I can worry about that later. I took a quick ran before sliding across the ground. I hide behind the entrance to hear her.

"Humans and fanus living here have no need to worry about their struggles for my master. The access to other realms will be his" she spoke again as she raised a hand to create another Risen.

I carefully held my bow and drew back at the arrow to release it to strike her hand.

"Gah! Who is there?" she asked as she marched forward.

I ducked away and hide behind the pillar. I have to drag her to the others. I will not be able to fight her by myself. I don't understand magic like my husband, so he should be able to stop her. I noticed it was too quiet in the room.

"Thoron!" she shouted as her spell crashed through the pillar I ducked under!

I covered my head and rolled away from the debris as she lunged at me. She grabbed my throat as I gasped in pain! What is she doing?!

"Interesting. The power of the Gods has returned. I have read the stories by Miss Author who claimed that a group of young high schoolers had awaken their powers to that of the Gods. I've always read the articles surrounding the idea that the Gods have been living among us for a long time. It appears my theories were correct" she said as she examined me, "I wonder how much energy and potential can be taken from someone who was bestowed the power of the Gods"

In a strong grip, she powers began to drain mine! What is this?! I let out a scream as I struggled. I swiftly kicked her chest and forced her to drop me. I was gasping as I felt my neck while she felt her stomach.

"That power. It was more than that of the Gods, isn't?" she asked in a knowing tone as I picked myself up, "And this place is holding more than I desired"

She dusted herself off as I held my bow.

"I want that power. It shall benefit my master and accomplish our goals. You will surrender yourself to me or I shall take you by force!" she declared as darkness dripped from her hands to create the Risen.

"I'm afraid you won't be taking this power of mine so easily" I answered her as I then drew an arrow and aimed my bow at her, "Not without a fight!"

She waited for me to make the first move, so I took a page out of my husband's book and drew another arrow and fired two at her. She was distracted as I then pulled another arrow and let the powerful light flow into it. I released it to the ground to shatter it! She was caught off guard as I ran down the hallway and rushing towards my husband.

"She's too dangerous to fight alone, and she can't find out about the power my husband and I were entrusted with either. How close am I to my husband?" I asked Frijo.

"Actually, he's in the other direction. You're heading to where Hawkeye is along with Cole and Hunk" Frijo informed me.

Well, those three are stronger than me in terms of strength. I should use that to my advantage, even if I do not wish to endanger Cole and Hunk.

"We have to let my husband know I need his help" I informed Frijo as I drew another arrow and aimed my bow back while running, "Please ensure this reaches him, Frijo"

"Understood, my lady" the god replied as he strengthens the arrow as I released it.

It flew away from me as I then focused on running back to Hawkeye and his group.

(Hunk's POV)

"Seriously, why can't the undead stay dead?" I wailed as I swung the paintbrush against the same one into a wall.

I glanced to Shell Shocker who continued to block the punches from one. He was panting, but he was still trying to defend us. I wish I had your strength, Cole. You can handle anything. I hope I can do something to help you at least.

"Out of the way!" we heard Mrs. Louise shout before turning our attention to the hallway.

She was running towards us as Hawkeye turned his attention to her. She then slid across the stone floor and turned to face the entrance. She drew her arrows and fired it at the pillars.

"Shell Shocker break the pillars!" she ordered as we shared a glance.

Shell Shocker then kicked his undead solider to the pillars. I swung my paintbrush to throw the other undead to the pillar. Then, he threw his shield as Mrs. Louise threw released her arrows to break it. The pillars collapsed and blocked the entrance.

"What happened?" Hawkeye asked as he turned to Mrs. Louise.

"There was a caster. She was after the powers here and the one my husband and I have" she explained as she finally had a chance to catch my breath, "She's dangerous and knows too much"

"How does she know so much?!" I exclaimed worriedly.

"She's been reading the myths and legends about it as well as the Author's work. I know the Author is someone of interest, but this is bad if people are starting to believe in her work" Mrs. Louise answered, "She's collected so many stories and shared it with others. I know most would believe it to be fantasy, but she doesn't. She's also working for someone who also has an interest in all of this"

"We need your husband" Hawkeye said seriously, "We have to make a plan and get rid of the caster before she gets her hands on the Miracle box and the Shield as well as our powers"

"Is there a back exit?" Shell Shocker asked seriously, "Or, multiple exits?"

"Yes, but we can let the shrine fall either" Hawkeye said seriously, "This shrine holds a power as well. If we let the darkness fall into it, then Afri will be in danger. That darkness would then spread to Europa and the other continents"

Great, so how are we going to stop her?! We heard a loud crash as we turned to the broken entrance. She's coming!

"Then, we need to get the shield and Miracle box out of here" Shell Shocker said seriously, "Keep some distance from us and her. We also have to have someone stay here and watch the shrine"

"That could work. My husband will also be here to give you a hand. I'll take the shield and box. Hunk and Luo please come with me. I assume you want to stay here and help Hawkeye fight" Mrs. Louise said as she looked at Shell Shocker.

"What?! No, absolutely not!" Mr. Luo said in disbelief, "Cole this is too dangerous! You cannot do this!"

"I have to! Whether you'll be proud of me or not, I don't care. I have to help my friends!" Cole said determinedly to his dad and turned to me, "Take care of my dad and the items. I won't let them get pass me!"

He rushed forward with Hawkeye following him. Mrs. Louise picked up the Miracle box and gave it to Mr. Luo to hold. She took his hand and pulled him after her while I took the shield and glanced at Cole. I know he's still upset about the secret his dad kept, but I don't think he'll listen to us now.

"Hunk!" Mrs. Louise called after me as I hesitantly left him.

Just be safe, buddy.

(Cole's POV)

I cracked my knuckles as I prepared to fight the witch. Hawkeye swung his axe downward as he stood tall. We are so ready for this. Then, in a powerful motion, she broke through the debris and hovered before the ground. Wow, she really is a witch.

"Interesting" she spoke in a creepy, quiet voice, "More powers are present here"

Her gaze fell on me as she seemed to be thinking about something.

"An elemental master? I believe them to be gone, but it appears that isn't the case" she said as she raised her hand to gather darkness.

What does she want with me? Hawkeye stood in front of me with his axe in hand.

"If you wish to hurt the son of Lily, you will have to get pass me" he declared as she eyed him and then waved her hand to cast a spell at him!

I threw my shield to block her spell as Hawkeye rushed forward to swing his axe at her. She raised her hand to create a shield of magic and stand against his strike. She was struggling to hold herself against his attack. I grabbed my shield and rushed to swing it at her. She raised her other hand to cast a wind spell to knock me away!

"Woah!" I exclaimed as I hit the ground and grunted.

"Cole!" Hawkeye shouted as he turned his attention to me.

This gave that witch the chance she needed and waved her other hand at him. It happened so fast. She cast a powerful lightning spell to blast Hawkeye into a wall!

"Hawkeye!" I shouted as I picked myself up and rushed to help him.

He was hurt, but he didn't have any lasting injuries as far as I can tell. Suddenly, I felt someone grab me from behind and hold me up!

"Let me go!" I shouted as she shook her head and waved her hand to have me turn around and face her.

"An Elemental Master hasn't been seen for years" she spoke as she gathered darkness in her other hand, "I want to know everything about them"

Her powers ran through my body as I screamed in pain. I was forced to transform back into myself as Wayzz bounced off my shoulder and landed on the ground. I screamed as I tried to break free from her hold, but I couldn't!

"Don't come any closer or I will kill him" she threatened as Hawkeye restrained himself.

We need help. Someone help me!

(Hunk's POV)

Mr. Luo and I heard Cole shouting in pain as we turned our attention to him.

"We have to keep going" Mrs. Louise said urgently.

Mr. Luo and I stood where we are. I can do this! I took the shield and ran back to the fight!

"Hunk!" Mrs. Louise shouted with worry.

"I have to go back and help my friend! He helped others before, and I am willing to do that now!" I shouted as I ran as fast as I could to help my friend.

"Hunk!" both parents shouted as I continued to run until I noticed they were coming after me.

I can't let Mr. Luo get hurt, so I am going to take a page of their book and do something completely reckless!

"Genesis!" I shouted as I waved the paintbrush to create a wall between us!

"Hunk!" they shouted as I turned and ran down the hall.

"I'm coming!" I shouted as I continued to run.

I could feel myself transform back as Ziggy landed on my shoulder.

"What is going on?" he asked confused as I gave him a weak smile.

"It is a long story, but I have a reckless idea" I explained nervously, "You just hang on tight! I have a plan to save my friend! Sort of!"

Ziggy was surprised as I let out a loud, nervous laugh as I glanced at the shield. I am sure of this! I think. I really have no idea how this is going to end! I don't know if I can do this, but I can't just stand back and let this happen either!

"Guys!" I shouted as I saw a terrifying site before me.

Cole was losing his strength as Hawkeye couldn't do anything to save him.

"Hunk!" Wayzz shouted as he rushed to us, "Do you have a plan to save Cole?"

"I have a crazy idea, but I am sure it will work if I am right about this" I answered him and glanced to Ziggy, "We need a distraction! Can you two handle that?"

The two of them nodded their head as they flew towards the scary lady. I really hope this works if not, then this will end very bad for us! I threw the shield to knock her back as she dropped Cole! Cole had his left hand over his throat, but he swung a punch to knock her back! I then grabbed the shield and pulled Cole and Hawkeye behind me.

"You will not get away with this!" she said as she raised her hands to have darkness and lighting crackled.

"Oh, no you don't! I will not let you hurt my friends anymore! You will leave us alone!" I shouted as I raised the shield, hoping this will work.

Hawkeye and Cole helped me raise the shield as it created a powerful barrier to protect us from her spell! Oh, my gods, it is working! The shield can withstand the attack! I was right!

"I will break through this shield! It will only be a matter of time!" she vowed as I gulped.

She's right. This shield will give out if we don't do something to do! I need a way to fight back! How do I fight back?!

"By listening to me" a voice spoke as I closed my eyes.

I opened it to find myself standing over a yellow stain glass circle and facing someone who clearly isn't human!

"Who are you?!" I exclaimed as I pointed at him and fell.

"Please relax. I know my kind hasn't been seen by yours in eras, but I was once the Yellow Paladin" he said with a bow, "I am Gyrgan. I have been searching for someone to take my power, and I believe that should be you"

He held out his hand as I blinked a couple of times. Ok, this is real, right? Wait, let me check! I pinched myself and yelped in pain. Ok, yes this is real!

"I'm sorry about that, but I just had to confirm that this was real and not a hallucination caused by that lady!" I explained to him as I stood up.

I finally got a good look at him. He was definitely an alien. That much is true. He has two tiny ears, and his hair was a in two pigtails and on his shoulders. He wore a yellow and blue robe and yellow shorts. He has green shorts and brown boots.

"So, uh, are you sure about me? I am not always a fighter" I informed him.

"That's why I also chose you" he answered me, "You find a way to win a fight without hurting your opponent. You're using the Shield of Afri to protect your friends. You also rushed into the fight to save them. I see no other reason why I shouldn't choose you to have my power"

I was surprised as his hand was still in front of me.

"So, are you ready to become the Yellow Paladin of Voltron?" he asked with a grin.

I could only smile as I answered, "Yes, yes I am!"

I grabbed his hand, shook it, and felt a tremendous amount of power flowing through me as a yellow light shined over me! She's so going down!

(Cole's POV)

Hawkeye and I could feel tremendous power coming from Hunk as we took a step back.

"What's happening?" Hawkeye asked confused.

"He's unlocked a new power!" I exclaimed as I pumped my fist into the air, "Go and get them, Hunk!"

We saw him gain a new power right before of your eyes. He gained a white and yellow armor as a helmet fell on his head. He raised his hand as a strong, machine gun appeared! Ok, I didn't think he would get a weapon like that. If anything, I expect a hammer or whisk.

"Whoa! He wasn't kidding!" Hunk said in awe as he then faced the witch, "Time to send you back to the afterlife! Assuming you are a real witch!"

Hunk then pulled the trigger as he fired a powerful round at her! That's insane! She could barely keep up as she held up her defensive shield. She could withstand the attack, and Hunk was getting tired. He can't keep this up!

"Light!" Mr. Pent shouted as he cast a powerful wave of light to cover the witch!

Hunk sat down in relief as I helped him relax. Mr. Pent was standing before us as a powerful light spell engulfed her.

"Is everyone alright?" he asked seriously.

"We are fine. Thank you" I said in relief as Mr. Pent smiled and then turned serious at the site of the witch.

"Now, you will tell me who you work for" he said seriously as he snapped his fingers to make another light appear in his hands, "Or I will make you talk"

She was struggling in his light spell, but she was able to face him and hold herself up.

"I am Sonia. I will never inform you of who my master is" she said as she snapped her fingers to gather darkness around herself and teleport away.

"Oh, thank goodness it is over!" Hunk said in relief as he transformed back to himself.

I noticed a bracelet on his wrist as I glanced to Mr. Pent. He transformed back to himself as his wife and my dad joined up with us.

"Well, this complicates things even more" Mr. Pent said with a shake of his head, "For now, let's rest and think about this and who this Sonia is"

He glanced to us as he shook his head.

"Let's rest" he said with a shake of his head.

So, we returned to our human forms and sat on the ground. We still have a lot of work to do.
