"Stupid bet," - Marichat

It rained. It rained for like two weeks. And Marinette was stupid enough to forgot her umbrella. Again.

She sighed as she ran away from Alya's house. They were also going somewhere and Marinette was to shy to ask if she could borrow one.

She sighed as she walked downstreet with nothing but her jacket to keep her warm.

"Oh, Marinette. Why are you so forgetful?" Tikki popped her head out of Marinette's purse.

"I don't know. I just am," she sighed. Tikki hid, not wanting to be too wet.

A car drove downstreet and ran over a puddle, so she got splashed.

"Really?" she nearly yelled. She started running, because she didn't want to catch a cold, even though she knew she would anyway.

"I'm surpised I actually can protect city from akumas," she muttered below her breath.

"Princess? What are you doing without an umbrella in this weather?" a very known voice stopped her. She turned on her heels and faced no one else than one of the superhero duo standing infront of her. He put umbrella over her head, so the rain wasn't falling on her anymore.

"I forgot my umbrella," she sighed.

"Yes, I can clearly see that," he laughed as he watched the girl infront of him shiver.

"C'mon, Princess. Let's get you home, before you 'cat'ch a cold," he said, hugging her over the shoulder. She didn't protest, she just went with it. She thought it was because he wanted to keep her warm, but he knew better. For him it was so he could touch her.

His little Princess was on his mind 24 hours of the day and he couldn't shake it off. He started liking her, even though he couldn't never admid to himself. His heart still belonged to his lady.

They stopped infront of the bakery.

"I'll meet you at your balcony," he said.

"Why?" she asked curiously.

"Because, you see. If we don't take of you properly, you can catch a cold," he said, giving her one of his famous smirks.

"No, I mean why don't you come in through the door? My parents aren't home," she said and laughed at his face. He couldn't believe he just got invited in and that voluntary.

"C'mon kitty cat," she said and laughed it off. She started developing a massive crush on him, even though she would still choose Adrien over him.

The girl and the cat-looking boy entered the bakery and they were more than happy that nobody saw them. No one wants rumors. They are just awful.

She went to change her clothes and expecially told the cat to stay there. He did as he was told, even though he couldn't help himself to secretly take one of the croissants.

She quickly changed into sweatpants and a t-shirt. She left her hair wet and went back to Chat who was waiting for her in the bakery downstairs.

"You can come now," she said and shook her head. Chat and her started talking, a few weeks ago. They don't even remember how it happened. They just know it did.

Chat walked behind her upstairs first into apartment, then in her room. He was here as Adrien, and once as Chat when they were trying to defeat The Pupeeter. But that's all.

"Nice room," he complimented.

"Thanks," she said and sat down in her chair. Now that she could finally think properly she remembered the bet she made with Alya.

"If you won't ask Adrien out, then you need to kiss the first guy you speak to," of course she chickened out and ran away from him, so she had to make the bet true. She was avoiding every boy today, but she totaly forgot about it when Chat talked to her. Stupid rain.

Truthfully, Alya did that to motivate her, but she had no idea her best friend was so deeply in love.

Marinette got nervous and started shaking her leg. Chat noticed and turned her head to her.

"You okay?" he asked, and she looked him. She cracked a nervous smile and he knew that smile. It was the smile she always gave him when he was Adrien. He prefered when she smiled with her whole heart. But this wasn't it.

"Yeah, uh-just nervous. We have uh a math test tomorrow," she lied. She didn't know he was in the same class as her. He would know if they had test tomorrow.

"Nope. That's not it," he said and moved slowly towards her. She squicked and moved away from him.

"Purr-incess?" he asked suprised.

"Ugh let's just get this over with," she groaned as she went over to him and pulled him closer by his collar.

"Princess?!" he wasn't even sure what she was doing, but he didn't mind.

The moment her nickname left his lips, hers were placed on them. Chat's eyes went wide and when she wanted to pull away, he kissed her back and pulled her closer to him. It started as an innocent kiss, but it didn't end like it.

Chat pushed her against the wall, her legs were wrapped around him. He started leaving kissed down her jaw line and stopped at her neck where he searched for the perfect spot, before biting it. She let out a groan, but let him to it anyway.

"You taste like croissants," she mumbled.

"What can I say, your family makes the best ones," he muttered into her neck.

She lifted his head with her hand and pressed her lips to his again.

(it went on blah blah. NO NOT THAT FAR YOU PERV)

The next day, Marinette was in school with a scarf around her neck. She was acting really weird that day too.

Alya and Nino were just watching curiously why would she have a scarf on her, if it's a hot spring day, but she just shook it off.

He knew she had a mark on her. His mark.

After school Alya dragged her into janitor's closet, because she wanted to know what the hell's going on.

"Please. If I tell you, please don't freak out. And it's your fault anyway," she sighed and take off her scarf. Alya nearly screamed when she saw the hickey, but Marinette covered her mouth.

When she was sure Alya wouldn't scream she took her hand off her mouth.

"Marinette Dupain-Cheng is that a hickey?" she tried to erase it or at least mess it up if it was make-up, but it ended to be very real.

"It's your fault," she sighed. She actually didn't even feel like she was betraying Adrien.

"When I say kiss someone, I meant a small peck or something, not a fricking make-out!" she wisper-yelled.

"I still blame you," Marinette shrugged. Alya rolled her eyes. "Okay, who?"

"Not telling you," she replied and smirked at her friend. Alya tried to protest, but in that moment the door opened and behind it there was standing Adrien and Nino.

Marinette started covering her neck with her hands just so she could cover the hickey. Alya smiled at them. She was finally able to cover it with a scarf and smiled at the boys.

"Don't you dare to tell them," she looked at Alya, who had a smirk on her face.

"You know our Marinette, made out with someone," Alya said and poked Marinette. Marinette got all red in the face.

"Oh really? Who?" Nino asked, Adrien just stood there trying not to smirk.

"She doesn't want to tell me. I was hoping you could help me," she smiled at two of her friends.

"No, no, no, no!" Marinette didn't realize Alya took off her scarf until now. The boys saw the hickey. Adrien saw it.

"Woah, you really do like that person," Adrien stated.

"I-uh..-" she couldn't deny that she didn't. "Yeah I do."
