"Why are you closing me out on everything? I deserve to know!" Adrien shouted. His father Gabriel, sat there with an emotionless face.
"You don't. You have no right to know why your mother left," he said, not actually caring what his son would think.
"Why!?" his eyes were full of tears.
"Because, Adrien," he said. Now he was sirious.
"'Because' isn't an answer!" he knew picking fight with his father wasn't the best idea, but he needed to know. He found his mother's diary. It wasn't finished, but it was written something about that involved with him- because she got pregnant. The page got wet and ink on it was blurred so, he couldn't figure what it says. But he kind of alredy knew the answer.
"She left, because you!" Gabriel stood up from the table, where he was having dinner. That was a blow to head. He knew it was because of him, but his father's confession, he lost it. His eyes finally gave up and let the tears streming down his cheeks as he ran back to his room.

What he did after that, he felt embaressed by it. His hands were covered by scars. He didn't listen to Plagg's protests, but he just started doing it and he couldn't stop. Plagg was doing anything he could, but it wasn't enough.
When he realized what he had done, he ran out. Away from where he called home. He couldn't phone Nino nor Alya. Not even Marinette. They would all just judge him. He forgot Plagg at home too, so he couldn't transform. He couldn't tell anybody.
He sat down breathless on the bench in dark lonely park and started crying once again. He was pulling the sleeves down, to cover his scars as much as he was regretting every single one of them.
His sobs were heard by a girl in a red and black spandex suit and she didn't hesitate to go look what was going on. When she saw the boy, her heart started to race. She was Ladybug. She wasn't shy Marinette. She could do this.
He heard footsteps and tried to be soundless, but failed.
"Hey, you okay?" she asked and put one hand on his shoulder.
He looked at her and his eyes went wide in suprise.
"Uh yeah," he said awkwardly, looking away from her eyes. He couldn't face the girl he loved with all his heart. If she knew ... She cannot.
"No you're not," She sat down beside him and sighed. "If you want to share, I'm here for you," she said with a sad smile on her face. Truthfully, her day wasn't good either.
"Why?" he asked with a wisper and finally looked at her beautiful blue eyes. He could get lost in them everytime he saw them.
"Why what?" she asked carefully.
"Why do you care? No one does," he let out a sigh and covered his face with his hands. But when he wasn't careful, sleeves rolled down and exposed the scars, that were made not so long ago.
"Adrien, ..-" her words were lost somewhere, when she saw what her classmate did. "-what have you done?"
She took his hands and looked at the scars.
"Why did you do it?" she asked, now she nearly crying too. She couldn't see the love of her life being like this. A tear escaped her eye and that's when he realized that she was crying too.
"I-I don't know," he sighed, and by his suprise she wrapped her arms around him.
"Promise, you won't do it again," she wispered into his shirt.
"I..- you still didn't answer my question," he said into her hair.
"I care. I care more than I should. But I care about you, I care about everyone in this city, even if it's Chloe," that made Adrien smile a little.
"Plase don't do it again," she said.
"I-I promise, but how do you know my name?" he asked. Ladybug's eyes went wide. She was lucky, they were still hugging, so he couldn't see her face.
"Uh, Chloe told me?" it sounded like a question, she wasn't even sure he fell for it.
She pulled away from him.
He didn't care how she knew his name. He was just happy she did. Because that meant she knew both of him. She knew all of him.
"Sounds like her," he smiled sadly.
"Promise me,-" she wiped the tears of his face, "-that you won't hurt yourself again,"
He put his hand on her, which was still on his cheek and looked in her eyes. "I promise,"
She carefully pecked his other cheek and pulled away completely.
"If you need someone to tell it to, I'm always here," she said. "Sometimes it's easier to tell someone you don't know, than to someone you see on daily basis,"
'If she only knew,' he thought.
'Why am I lying to him? We do see each other on daily basis!' Marinette mentaly slapped herself.
"I-I.-" he started. He didn't know how to tell her. He wanted, but he didn't know how.
"Slowly. I'm here and I'm not going anywhere," she said calming him.
"Yesterday, uh-I found my mother's diary," he started.
'He never talks about his mother, this has to be sirious,' she thought.
"And she wrote alot of things. I regret reading it. Not just I invaded her privacy, I also caused myself alot of pain. She wrote some stuff about, being pregnant,.. with me,-" his eyes starting to water again.
"Just cry. It helps," she said and hugged him.
"And she was writing something about me b-being the r-reason of her l-leaving," he hugged her back and starting crying into her shoulder. She didn't mind.
"The page was b-blurred, so I c-couldn't read it all, but I know what it says," he cried.
"I asked my f-father today. And he just c-confirmed it. That triggered that I c-cut myself," he told her all. He felt weak. And he hated it. He hated the feeling so much.
"It's nothing wrong with feeling weak. I feel it sometimes too. When I do, I remember that I have amazing people around me that help me through hard times. And I'm not alone. Niether are you. You have Nino, who went though all that trouble that he got you that party. You got Alya. I know her and she would do anything to make a person feel better. And also you have Marinette. I know she's a stuttering mess infront of you, but she does care. I believe you have other freinds too that care. And also you have me. If you need me, just look for me and I will be there," she was crying too. And now he was the one to wipe her tears.
"You should go. Your father could be worried," she said. He nodded and stood up, and so did she.
"He cares about you, Adrien. He just doesn't know how to show it," she smiled. He sadly smiled, before she ran off.
That would be a night he would remember forever.
