It was Adrien's day off. He tried being excited about it but, he knew it'd be a boring day. He decided to go around for a walk. He didn't take his umbrella because the weather forecast said it wasn't going to rain.

Too late now.

Marinette got dressed in some nice white shorts, a dark read knitted sweater, and some black flats with knee high socks. Cat socks to be exact.

She had to go out to buy some more fabric and sewing needles. Since her last one was old by now. She tried her best to hide the small cuts and scratches on her hand. Which she got  while sewing.

Okay I need some red,green, and olive green fabric.

"Come on Tikki!" Marinette said excitingly.

"Alright!" Tikki squeaked.

Adrien had no idea where he was. He was just breathing heavily. A group of fangirls began chasing him down. In an attempt to lose them he entered what seemed to look like a fabric store.

"A-Adrien." He heard a small voice say.

Another fangirl please god no.

He turned around and instantly blushed. What he saw was Marinette in the cutest outfit ever. Not to mention her hair was loose which definitely suits her.

Since when has she been so pretty.

He just kept staring at her while hardcore blushing. Until she pulled him out the trance.

"Are you okay?" She asked worriedly. Ever since her uncle came to Paris they've become pretty good friends.((reference to episode 14))

"YOU LOOK VERY NICE TODAY!?" He yelled out. He was a fumbling mess.

She blushed and squeaked out a small thank you.

"Well anyways what are you doing here?" She asked.

"A pack of wolves/fangirls started chasing after me." He said jokingly.

Marinette giggled.
"You poor thing." She said sarcastically as she made her way to the second floor of the shop.

"Hey they're crazy..but luckily I took care of it!" He said making sure to follow her.

"Oh ok so, are you just gonna continue following me or." She said grinning to herself.

"Well I thought you'd might like some company." He smirked.

"Fine you can tag along for now." She stated.

He was secretly happy to get to spend time with Marinette.

She spent very little time looking for what she needed. She found the green and olive green very quickly and went to get the pieces.

Adrien swore he saw something on her hands but shook it off.

Marinette went to pick out another piece of fabric. Specifically a light red.

Adrien once again saw a bandaid on her hand. This time he didn't ignore it.

Once they left the store Marinette offered if he'd like to eat something at the bakery.

"Ok!" He genuinely smiled.

They walked over luckily not getting caught by the rain. Which meant Adrien had to wait a while at the bakery.

"Mom! I'm home!" She yelled.

No answer.

Marinette saw a note on the counter.

Marinette since we're closed today we thought we'd have a nice date. We'll be back by 10:00 pm. Stay safe!

"Of course.." She said sarcastically.

"What?" He asked worriedly.

"Oh my parents won't be back for a while that's all." She explained.

She lead him upstairs to the living room. He sat at the chair in front of the kitchen counter.

He watched her make tea. Quickly examining her hands when he could.

She served him some tea. He took a sip and it was obviously good.

"So Marinette.." He said awkwardly.

"Soooo.." She said just as awkward. She then proceeded to take a sip of tea.

"Care to tell me why you're hiding those cuts on your hand." He said seriously.

She almost spit out her tea. Causing him to act quickly and grab her hands worriedly.

He swore he heard a whimper when he grabbed her hands.

"I'm so sorry are you okay?!" He was a mess.

"I'm fine you just surprised me that's all." She said looking away.

He rolled up her sleeves revealing a bunch of cuts and band aids on her hands.

He gave her the look. The pouty eyes and frown that broke her heart.

"Marinette..." He pouted.

"I got these from sewing that's all." She said looking away as he examined the cuts. If you didn't already know Marinette was blushing way to hard.

"Are you sure?" He asked looking directly at her.

"What?" She asked. Did he not believe me.

"Are you positive no one did this to you." He said while looking straight at her.

Why is he so worried.

"I'm positive." She smiled brightly. Causing him to sigh.

Man what is wrong with me today..

"Well anyways the rain stopped a bit. Do you want me to lend you an umbrella. So you know you can get yourself home." She said with a caring tone.

"Kicking me out already?" He said jokingly.

"That's not what I meant!?" She yelled out.

"I know, I know. By the way, nice socks." He giggled pointing to her socks.

She blushed.

Cute. Adrien thought. He loved it when she blushed. Although he'd never tell her that.

She then proceeded to run to her room and lock the door. Leaving Adrien out.

"Cmon Mari don't be like that." He said through many giggles.

"Your fault!" She said.

"Hey I'm sorry it's that you look so cute today and all I couldn't help it." He said still laughing. His face said otherwise as he was burning red.

She opened the door just enough for him so see her face.

"Sorry but were you talking about the girl next door because there's no cute girls around here." She joked.

He took it seriously though. He barged through the door then proceeded to look her straight in the eyes.

"Wanna bet" he said smiling.

As he then leaned and kissed Marinette. She was shocked but, that's expected right?

At first it was a bit awkward since Adriens thoughts were wild.

Omg why did I just do that-I'm sorry my lady!-wait her lips are really soft-wait she's not kissing back-OH GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE!?

Marinette could see how tense he was and decided to push away her nervousness and kiss back.

The kiss was warm and sweet just like her. Yet passionate and playful just like him.

They were always there for each other. Without even realizing it. Side by side whether it was fighting evil or, just hanging out.

They will always be there for one another. To bad it's pretty ironic isn't it....
