Adrien was staring out his window.

Thinking, when suddenly he was hit is the head with a piece of cheese.

Rubbing the back of his blonde head, he screeched: "Plagg! What was that for?!"

Plagg looked at him and rolled his eyes.
"You've been staring out that window for two hours."

"What!" Adrien ran and looked at the clock. "Great. I'm late for dinner."

Pause.

"Well, it's not like anyone will care anyways. I'm the only one there," Adrien sighed.

"Look, kid. I know life is frustrating but this is getting a lit-" Adrien cut Plagg off.

"Shut up. You're ruining the moment where the crowd feels sorry for me."

"Whatever. What were you even thinking about that whole time?"

"Ladybug-"

"Oh, of course," Plagg mimked him. "This 'love of you life' or "cat's meow' as you-"

"SHUT UP AND GO IN MY JACKET, PLAGG!!!"

"Fine, fine fine fine Mr. Bossy-has-an-attidude-"

"OH MY GOSH DON'T MAKE ME SLAP YOU INTO MY JACKET YOU LITTLE PIECE OF STINKY BUTT CHEESE!!!!"

After Adrien destroyed his room with rage....

After dinner, Adrien went back to staring out his window.

His thoughts were stuck on the villain he and Ladybug had just defeated.

Dark Cupid.

He tried to tell Ladybug he loved her..... but it didn't turn out well.

He was shot by Dark Cupid with some kind of "evil arrow," and apparently he started saying horrible and thoughtless things to Ladybug.

Her reaction? He had no idea.

But another weird thing that happened was Ladybug mentioning a kiss.

Kiss?

WHAT KISS??????

Sure, it was Valentine's day, but still.

KISSSSSS???????!?!?!?!?!?

He couldn't remember anything from when he was under Dark Cupid's spell..... so he literally had no idea.

Anyways, his thoughts suddenly drifted back to the things he said.

The horrible things.

The mean things.

Everything..... and he didn't even remember what they were.

He sighed and snapped banc to reality.

Looking at the clock, his heart stopped when he realized it was almost midnight.

"Oops......" He mumbled, climbing into bed. "Hopefully I'm not grumpy tomorrow at school......"

Marinette's room....

Marinette laid in her bed, completely horrified.

She kissed Chat.

Yes, THE CHAT NOIR.

She groaned and fell on her back.

"It's a good thing he doesn't know," She sighed. "He would never stop bugging me about it if he did."

She turned on her side, looking out her window.

"I wonder who he really is," She whispered to herself.

The next day at Ladybug and Chat Noir's daily patrol......

"Well," Ladybug said, landing on the teal roof of a building. "That just about covers ALL of Paris!"

"Yeah..." Chat said ackwardly.

Ladybug looked at him.
"Is something wrong? You seem a little-" she shivered. "Normal."

"I'm fine," He answered, not looking her in the eyes.

"Were missing something here."

"What?"

"Puns, Chat. WHERE ARE YOUR PUNS?!?!" She grabbed his shoulders and shook him.

"Uh.... are you sure you're okay?"

"Not important," She let go of him. "What's important is that you're not being yourself. What's up?"

"I told you," He looked away. "I'm fine."

"Yeah, but not purrfect," She nudged him.
While she was giggling, he had a blank expression.

"Oh come on," She said. "That was funny!!!"

"I'm guess," He sighed and looked down.

"Chat," She put her hand on his shoulder. "You know you can trust me. I'm your friend and I love you."

His face immediately went to a ginormous smile, and she rolled her eyes.

"As a friend."

His face immediately drooped and he went back to being pouty.

(FRIEND ZONED!!!)

"Chat, you can trust me."

He finally looked at her to see she had a worried expression on her face.

"I'm sorry," He gave up. "That's it."

"For what?"

He looked at her.
"Ladybug," He started. "I'm sorry for all the things I said. I just.... wasn't myself. He was controlling me, and I said what I said..... I couldn't help it. It's just... you don't know how much it hurts me to know that I hurt you. I'm sorry if I did. I hope now that you know how I feel, maybe you won't hate me." He blinked away a tear.

She stared at him, surprised he felt this way.

"Chat," She paused, trying to word it. "I can't believe this is how you feel. I know you couldn't control what you said. And I knew you weren't yourself. I don't blame you for what happened. I didn't believe anything you said. And I'm sorry too. I should've been more clear about how I felt."

He looked at her. "Really?"

"Really." She smiled.

Silence.

"One more thing," Chat said.

"Yeah?"

"Ladybug," He started. "Remember that thing I was trying to tell you?"

"Yes."

"Well.... it's.... I just wanted to say-"

She put a finger over his lips.
"I know," She said quietly. "I love you too."
