"Adrien, come back here!" Lila giggled as she chased her playmate in the garden.

"You gotta chat me first!" Adrien joked as he kept running, not looking carefully to where he was going- he face-planted into the puddle.

"A-adrien, you okay?" Lila ran as quick as her little legs to go and knelt next to Adrien, while offering her hand to help him up.

"I...I'm fine. Guess I got too carried away there, huh?" Adrien groaned as he smiled awkwardly.

"Shall we go again, Lila?"

"Sur-"

"I'm sorry Lila, but Adrien's can't play with you now, he has work to do," a voice entered the garden.

It was Natalie.

Lila didn't like Natalie that much, she was always the one who cut the fun between them both.

"Aw man, maybe next time?" Adrien smiled, readying his hand for their friendship move they did- a fist bump.

"Ya betcha!" Lila cheekily smiled while returning the bump.

(3 years pass...)

Lila secretly hid a blush as she readied herself to meet her buddie- Adrien.

"I wonder how he's doing now?" Lila thought.

"It's just a few years, what could possibly change?"

And oh boy was she wrong.

Adrien himself still hade his beautiful hair and gorgeous face, but something was missing- His smile.

"Did something happen in these 3 years?" Lila thought to herself. She finally adjusted herself to ask:
"Whatcha do these past 3 years?"

"Oh well, Dad said I should try modelling," was the reply.
"It isn't such a hard thing, but the crowds of people swarming you in public is not fun."

"Oh..." Lila sighed.
It was just 3 years, how could the change be so big? Compared to Adrien, I'm just a lonely nobody, I got to make something look like I'm the only one who is worth his love.

(Present)
Lila looked downward from the classroom, gazing at Adrien joking with his group of friends.
"At least he's happy." She comforted herself. But something they did just couldn't make her forget about it.

"I guess we are a pretty awesome team,"

She heard Alya joke.

"You mean a Purr-fect quintet, don't you mean?" Adrien replied with a goofy grin.

Stop.

" y...you betcha! Good one!" Marinette stuttered as she laughed shyly to his pun. She then readied her hand for a fist bump with Adrien.

"Great job!" They both said in unison as their fist collided towards each other.

Lila saw everything, with tears streaming down her face, she held her bag and ran out of the classroom, leaving Adrien partly confused.

He's happy, thats what it matters, isn't it? She thought as she exited the school building.
