Young Marinette looked out of the bakery shop, she was three and was determined to see the outside world.

"Mama, what's that?" Pointing at the lamp post
as she asked Sabine Dupain- Cheng.

"That, Marinette, is a lamp post."

"Mama,what's that?"

"That, Marinette, is the Effile Tower, the Heart of Paris."

They soon went out to the playground where all the youngsters play. Where she was playin she heard a voice:

"Please Natalie! Let me play with the other children! It's not fair since it has stated in the Parisian law that all civilians have the right of FREEDOM!"

He was running away from Natalie when he accidentally bumped into Marinette and she fell to the floor, with tears streaming down her face. Sabine quickly picked up the young Marinette to her feet and the boy knew he needed an apology.

"Hey there..." He stuttered, "I'm sorry, for what I did just now... Bumping into... Y-you..."

"Its okay... I mean I'm okay!" She said, both eyes meeting his.

"Is there anyway I can make it up to you?" He asked

"Ummmm...." She spatted "Promise I'll see you in the future?"

"Sure thing, what your name by the way?"

"It's Marinette , and you?"

"I'm Adrien, Adrien Agreste."
