MARINETTE POV:

After he said his name to me, I'm no longer stuttering in front of him, I was no longer afraid."So, Mari, where do you live?"Nino asked."Well, I work and own a bakery near the port. I make Macaroons and other delicious food. The business is booming. Until-"My happy face got turned upside down immediately then I was starting to cry."Until?"Nino said."Since the great depression came,I had to *sniffs* close the b-bakery for *sniffs* good. Now I have nowhere to live"I started crying in front of him and the girl behind him.

"Hey"Nino said and knelled in front of me."If you don't have a place to live, why not join us?" He said in a delight voice."I'm no pirate. Plus, I can't handle a sword. I can only treat your wounds and much."I said in a sad voice.

"Well, we can train you, to become a pirate, a great one.""Really?""yes". The girl in the back coughs to get our attention."Are sure Nino, I mean she's just a civilian?""Yes but, she has potential. Plus she's the one who help me when you leave me to die.""True. then so be it!"

"THANK YOU. I won't let you down."I exclaimed."Well then, you need to change your clothes. It's covered with blood" He said that and I look down seeing the blood on my shirt."Follow me" said the girl."oh by the way,I'm Alya Cesaire." Alya then signaled me to follow her at her quarters down below deck. When we reached there, she quickly opens the door and opens a chest just beneath her bed. She looked through it and pulled out this along with a red cutlass and a red pistol.

(This is the cutlass Mari's gonna used without the pistol in it so its just a regular cutlass with modifications)

"So, what do you prefer, dual or solo?"She asked"Dual"I replied. She took out another cutlass with the same modifications."You should go and change."She told me. I nodded and quickly got off with my clothes and then change to the robe that she gave me. 

I both grab the sword and put it into my empty slot along with my pistol. I was done when suddenly she screamed telling me to stop. I stop dead on my track and turned around and gave me a leather armor with matching colors with my robe. I put it on and quickly go to the captain's quarter to meet up with Nino. I knock three times to the door then he said "come in" a monotone voice."So.....when do I start training?""Now" he replied in a monotone voice.

5 hour time skip

"I think I'm getting the hand of this." I said in cheerful voice. "Hehehehe,you almost stab me!" he replied in a cheerful voice. After training, I went to Alya's quarter to rest for a while. I'm so tired of 5 continuing hours of fighting and a short break in between, but hey, atleast I can kill and defend someone.

I was laying on Alya's bed then suddenly I heard a cannonball shot."ROYAL NAVY!" a pirate said near Alya's quarter. I quickly run upstairs to the deck where I can see the crew working on the cannons and shooting pistols and rifles

"MARINETTE OVER HERE" Nino shouted. I run as fast as I can, up the stairs, to the quarter's deck."You will join Alya and half the crew to board the frigate." I nodded. I ran to Alya and where half of the crew is."GET READY TO BOARD" Nino said. He slightly ram the frigate so it still stay a float. After that, all of us jumped on the deck of the frigate. (Heres the fight 'cause I am lazy and don't know ho to write a epic fighting scene)

NINO POV:

Jesus Christ. I had only trained her for like 5 hours and so still she gets the hang of it. She might be as good as me and even ??????. No not possibly. I'll question her later for now we need to win this battle/boarding."NINO, a little help please?" I heard Alya screamed. 

She was busy fighting off the captain. I jumped near her and all of the sudden I saw Alya on the ground holding her right knee using her right hand and the left for her sword."YOU WILL PAY FOR THAT" I said furiously. When I took out my sword, he took out his pistol and aimed for me."Since when do I started fighting fair?" The captain said while smirking. 

Just then, I saw Marinette behind him, running towards the captain with her two red cutlass full speed. As soon as I switch back to the captain, I saw two metal blades piercing through him. After that, she quickly kick his back making him fall to the ground bloody."Never underestimate us pirates." She said in an evil voice.

 After she said that, she quickly pulls the two red bloody swords from his back onto her slot. Note to self:never get Mari mad. She goes to me and puts extends her hand towards me."You need help?""Y-yes I-I do?"Why am I stuttering this much. She pulls me up with her bloody hands."Oops sorry"as she said that rubbing the back of her neck. 

I smiled and quickly yelled to the crew "Execute all prisoners,grab what you can. Were leaving in 5 mins" "Aye captain!" The crew said in unison. I quickly look at Mari and said"Follow me"she nodded then smiled. As we were walking to my quarters I thought to myself Is she ready to hold the legendary weapon? 

I open the door telling Mari to close it shut and the blinds also. I look through my cabinet then opened a secret compartment leading to the legendary weapon."Marinette?" She raised a brow "I want to give this to you. This is a legendary weapon only worthy pirates usually had this. Since you proved yourself a while ago, I think you might be a worthy pirate to have this." I pulled the legendary weapon out to give to Mari. "Quick question?" I hummed. "Why a yoyo though?" 

"I actually don't know." As I scratch the back of my neck. "But legend has it that the string is made of twine, not just regular twine but indestructible also. When it comes contact to an enemy, it releases energy making fly backwards. You can use it manually also by quickly pulling it back." "Okay, can I try it?" Mari said. I nodded then she started to play with it
