A normal day... so far

Marinette's POV
Beep... Beep... Beep...
"Ugh, five more minutes," I groaned clicking the snooze.
20 minutes Later...
BeepBeepBeepBeepBeepBeepBeep-
"Arg, shut up already!" I yelled grabbing my alarm clock. I was about to throw it across the room when I happened to get a glimpse of the time. "Oh no. Shoot. I'm going to be late again!" I began to scramble around my room, and I grabbed my normal outfit, a white shirt with a pink jacket and pants.
"Here Marinette," Tikki said sweetly as she handed me my hair brush. I thanked her and quickly put my hair into my normal hairstyle- pig tails.
Satisfied by how I looked, I ran down the stairs into the bakery part of my house and grabbed a croissant. I was about to grab some jam to put on it when Tikki tapped my shoulder.
"The time?" She said with an all knowing look. I looked at the clock that we had hung up in our bakery. It read, 8:18. I have two minutes to get to school.
Shoot.
I stuffed the croissant in my mouth and ran out the bakery door, locking it behind me because my parents were out on a delivery outside of Paris, and made my way towards the school- which happened to be righ by my house.
I ran up the many steps that lead to my classroom and snuck in while Miss B was facing the white board.
"Let me guess gurl," Alya whispered giving me the same all knowing look that Tikki gave me earlier. "You slept in."
"Hehe... maybe," I whispered back scratching my head.
"If you have enough time to talk, then you have enough time to listen, ladies," Miss B said calling us out.
"Sorry mam," I squeaked.
"Oh and when your late," Miss B started giving me a smile. "Be more discreet about it."
I nodded my head so fast that I thought that it was going to fall off.
"Good, Now Gerunds are phrases that-" she was interrupted by the Akuma alarm. Yes, that's a thing.
"We'll finish this tomorrow, for now, remember to read page 245 in your english book," she said as everyone made a single file line to get to the safe room in the school.
"Pssst. Alya," I whispered to my best friend as we made our way into the safe room. I could see that she was already scheming a way for herself to get out of the room so she could film Ladybug for her Ladyblog.
"What gurl?" She asked.
"I kinda forgot my wallet and I don't want to leave it behind, so can you cover me?" I lied.
"Yeah yeah, sure," she shooed me. "Go, just don't get yourself hurt."
I gave her a thumbs up and ran out of the safe room. I went into the bathroom and checked all the stalls. When I was in the clear, I yelled, "Tikki, Spots on!"
A swirl of light surrounded me and I was Ladybug, a hero of Paris. Now to find that akuma. I hopped up to the roof so I could get a better view of the area.
'They wouldn't set off the alarm if the akuma wasn't close.' I thought to myself. 'So where could it be?'
"It seems as if we have a cat-astrophe on our hands," a punny cat said breaking me out of my thoughts.
"Hello Chat," I greated my partner who landed right next me. "Do you know where the akuma is?"
"I am paw-setively sure that I don't, M'lady," he responded being absolutely no help at all.
I began to think of all the possible places when I heard an explosion come from the inside of my school.
"Shall we, Bugaboo?" Chat Noir said wiggling his eye brows.
"Let's get this over with," I responded to my overly flirty partner.
Time Skip
"Pound it," Chat and I said in unison. My earring beeped and I swung away with a goodbye.
Everything was normal. The daily akuma attacks, me being late to school, etc etc.
Little did I know that this would not last.

I'm editing all the chapters, well I should say rewriting all the chapters. I started on my second part to this and I noticed just how bad this first part was. So if you're wondering why it's changing, that's why. Hope you guys like it better.
