Marinette gasped as Chloe raised her hand and slapped her around the side of her face.
A bright pink mark left in its place.

She felt tears begin to slowly roll down her face and the alcohol begin to kick in. Her head and heart hurt.

Her head was pounding from all those rounds.

Her heart was hurting from rejection. That's right, Adrien Agreste rejected Marinette Dupain-Cheng.

After her rejection she headed to a bar. Had too many rounds and got drunk. She bumped into Chloe and dissed her, only to be slapped.

She walked the empty streets of Paris, her white dress blowing in the wind and her hair staying somewhat in place with hairspray.

She left her jacket at the bar and her phone was dead.

She was alone. At 3am. Walking the streets of Paris.

She heard someone behind her and picked up her pace. Her heart pounding in her chest. Her eyes slowly beginning to fill with tears.

She felt someone hug her from behind and she froze," It's ok princess, I'm here. Don't worry" she sighed and returned his hug. Burying her head into his neck and slowly crying.

She had soon fell asleep in his arms as rain began to gently fall from the clouded sky.

He carried her to her apartment and placed her in her bed.

Before leaving he placed a small kiss on her lips and wrapped her in the covers.
