(Lila's pov)

I walked into the lunch hall and slowly made my way over to Marinette, she looked up at me and noticed how nervous I was. Quickly, she sprinted towards me and dragged me to her table. It was just me and her, ever since she made friends with me Chloe turned everyone against us. We were just trash to them.

Marinette had always stood by my side and she apologised for shouting at me as Ladybug, she told me how she was jealous and that she just couldn't stand lies, I happily accepted her apology and became her new best friend. She would often visit me as Ladybug when she was on patrol so she wouldn't get board.

"Lila?" her voice rang through my ears, I noticed the lunch hall was empty and everyone was heading to class. Slowly she helped me up and we walked to class in silence, after the last akuma attack Marinette had been in pain. But could you blame her? She get's bullied and she works as a superhero, so the chances of getting badly hurt were high. She placed her hand on my shoulder and looked at me with a sincere smile, "Lila, your spacing out again. Did you even hear what I said?" She giggles as I shake my head no, "Well I was saying that we have a free period. Did you forget?" I quickly say yes and she drags me to the class. When we have free period we need to stay in our home room.

We walk up the steps and sit in our seats in the back, Marinette pulls out her earplugs and hands one to me, I happily accept it and we sit there in silence listening to music. 

(Adriens pov, after school with Nino and Alya)

We watch Marinette and Lila walk out of the school smiling happily, Lila  stops and looks at us before Marinette grabs her hand and runs off towards the bakery with her. I hear Alya sigh and I turn to look at her, "She looks even happier with Lila than she was with us" she states blankly, "Well dudette, could you blame her? Chloe has dirt on us and we have to be rude to her otherwise our dirt gets out." Nino points out.

"I wonder what dirt she has on the others, and why she hates Marinette so much?" "Yeah, why does she hate Marinette so much?" Nino gasped and looked at us shocked, "You don't know why Chloe hates Marinette! I can't believe no one told you!" Me and Alya look at the dj confused.

"Gather round children, uncle Nino is going to tell you a story.... You see only 4 others know this story along with Marinette. We are the original 5, we consisted of me, Mari, Kim, Mylene and Nathaniel and also Chloe. But yeah." he shrugs his shoulders at his statement, "Anyway Marinette and Chloe were always best friends but eventually over time Chloe grew jealous because she was always making new friends. However every year Chloe would win the princess tiara in our old assembly's, and one day Marinette won it. Chloe was devastated and began bullying Marinette into giving her the crown. We stayed with Marinette and supported her until one day Chloe pushed Marinette into a ice lake, she was in hospital for 4 weeks but Chloe didn't care because she got revenge. From then on they have always hated each other. But, could you blame them?" 

"MARINETTE WAS PUSHED INTO A ICE LAKE!!!!!?!??!?!?!?!?" Alya screamed in his face. He slowly backed away and began running for his life as Alya continued chasing him.

(Lila's pov, in Mari's room)

Marinette sat on her chaise and I sat on the floor, we pulled out our homework and sat there in silence, "Lila?" "Yeah?" "What did you get for question 45?" I skim over my work and stop at the answer, "1,234 what did you get?" "Same, I was just checking."

After a few more minutes in silence we had finished our Homework and were now serving customers in the bakery. The bell went off as someone entered the room, "Hello, how may I-" I heard Marinette stop talking and I went through the door into the front of the bakery. She was standing there whilst Nino, Alya and Adrien stood there patiently, "Sorry, How may I help you?" she said through gritted teeth.

"3 croissants please." Adrien replied, an amused smirk on his face, "Hey! Model boy what's so funny?"   I looked around to see who said that, but when I realised all eye's on me I then noticed I had said it. Marinette walked away and told me to serve them, I agreed after seeing her rub her thigh from where she was hurt during an akuma attack.

"Sorry, what would you like?" He pointed at the croissants and I grabbed the serving tongs and placed them in a bag, "That would be $3 please" he hands me the money and walks out. I sigh and hang my apron up and head upstairs. I knew Marinette had a hard life but,

Can you blame her?
