While Tikki was asleep Marinette pulled up her T-shirt and stared at the bruises covering her back. The deep gashes on her arms and the scars on face. She hides this by using makeup, it may not look natural close up but from a distance you see no difference.

"Look at me, im ugly" she said to herself as she took in a deep breathe. Slowly tears began rolling down her cheeks, she grabbed a blade and walked into the bathroom.

She held the blade towards her heart, "No one will miss me..." she didn't hear her friends enter her room. Before she could plunge the blade into her heart a hand grabbed the blade, she turned around and saw the many shocked faces of her classmates, "Marinette, what are you doing!" Alya screamed as she began crying. Marinette pulled down her sleeves and looked down, "Who did this to you Mari?" Kim asked as he grabbed her hands, "My parents...." she whispered. People gasped as Adrien lifted her head, "And?" she gasped and looked down, "Im being abused on both sides. By those looks I can tell you know. My powers don't heal me, they heal those around me, when I get home my parents hurt me. I was whipped an hour ago..."

No one saw her take back the blade, but they all saw her plunge it into her heart.
