Day 10

It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." And they were greatly astonished, saying among themselves, "Who then can be saved?" But Jesus looked at them and said, "With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible."
Mark 10:25‭-‬27 NKJV

 Nothing is impossible with God.
Studying this part was a little confusing. What exactly is impossible with man that only God can do? Jesus is talking about entering the kingdom of God. He then adds and says, "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle that for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." This caused concern among the disciples. "Who then can be saved?" They asked.
What is Jesus talking about?
Jesus is speaking about entering the kingdom of Heaven.

But Jesus looked at them and said, "With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible."
Mark 10:27 NKJV

This was Jesus' response to the disciples' question: "Who then can be saved?"
Everyone can be saved. But without Jesus its impossible for man to save himself.
We cannot save ourselves. Only God can save us. God's will is for everyone to be saved.

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
II Peter 3:9 NKJV

The bible says, "Not willing that any should perish." God's desire is for all men to know Him.

 God wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of truth. We cannot know who we are without salvation.So yes! Its impossible for us to save ourselves from our destruction but through the power of the word of God, salvation is possible.

He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
Psalms 107:20 KJV

The word of God saves us from our destructions. When we receive this word, we can be saved. Salvation is so much more than entering the kingdom of God.
Salvation is freedom from sin. Salvation is deliverance from destructions. Salvation is wholeness. With man, it is impossible to be saved, but with God, all things are possible.

Prayer

In the name of Jesus, Father we thank you. We bless your Holy Name. We declare you're awesome. Thank you for guiding us in the path of righteousness. Thank you for showing us the way to the kingdom of God. May you deliver from our destructions. This we ask in Jesus' name.
