Chapter 30: Gorizilla Part 2

Unaware of Hawkmoth on their tail now too, Adrien and Marinette soon found themselves staying close to Artemis and Rayla, who were surprisingly good at avoiding bumping into anyone who could recognise the teens. So much so, that they managed to have a nice walk on their way to the department store Artemis had mentioned without needing to run away at the drop of a hat. But there was still an air of awkwardness surrounding them and Marinette could tell that Adrien had some questions he needed answered. And quite frankly, she did too.

"So, you really knew Adrien's mom?" Marinette asked Artemis, breaking the silence among the group and saving Adrien; who was staying close to her side, from doing it.

"Oh, Emi and I were as thick as thieves when we were younger. Some of those awkward situations I mentioned I've had earlier, I shared them with Emilie." Artemis admitted, a fond smile on her lips as she led the way to the store she mentioned. "That woman was a wild card, I tell you!" the older woman declared, a chuckle escaping her mouth the more she reminisced on the past.

"She sounds amazing." Marinette breathed in amazement, soaking up all she could since this was the most she'd heard about Adrien's mom. Sure, Adrien talked about her very fondly. But those incidents were few and far between since Adrien was more eager to focus on his present life.

"Aunt Emilie was the best! She always told the best jokes and was so kind!" Rayla cheered, sticking close to Artemis while both teens looked at her in surprise.

"You knew her too, Rayla?" Marinette asked.

"Not as well as Artemis, that's for sure. But I got to meet her a few times before she..." Rayla admitted, only to trail off as she thought about that faithful day. "She truly was amazing." the white-haired girl sighed, a wistful smile appearing on her lips as she looked at the ground with watery eyes.

"Just like her son." Marinette agreed after hearing the similarities between Adrien and his mother, causing the boy to blush at the compliment.

"Very true. They are so similar, I almost forget that they are different people." Artemis said, sending a cheeky smirk Adrien's way before looking at the path ahead of them again. "Ah, here we are!" the sea-green-eyed woman announced after looking past a building corner, walking out from behind it and causing Marinette to look where they were going and gasp in shock.

"You never said that the department store was Hex Couture! These guys are almost as exclusive as the Gabriel brand!" Marinette exclaimed, making Adrien look and see she was correct when he spotted the distinct storefront.

"You never asked." Artemis simply replied, crocking an amused eyebrow at Marinette's reaction.

"Clearly I should have! This place is so expensive, I can't even afford to buy a hair clip here!" Marinette squawked, her arms gesturing at the store with an incredulous stare.

"You won't have to worry about paying here today. It's my treat since I was the one who suggested coming here." Artemis said as they walked up to the store, earning another shocked look from Marinette at the older woman's generosity.

"No, I can't let you spend money on me!" Marinette argued, hoping to prevent Artemis from wasting her money on her.

"You should know by now that I'll insist otherwise. And I won't be budging on it, either." Artemis replied, stopping in her tracks to turn and address the hesitant girl.

"Ugh, fine. On the condition that the next time I babysit Rayla, it'll be for free to pay you back." Marinette relented, knowing she was in a losing argument with Artemis.

"We'll see." Artemis replied with a smirk, followed by the group continuing their walk and entering the store.

"Whoa! This place is awesome!" Marinette exclaimed, spinning in place as she took in the store in its entirety and unaware of Artemis paying the doorman for his discretion.

The store itself was styled like most clothing stores in Paris. But Hex Couture managed to blend opulence and modernity in a way that didn't feel overwhelming, save for the gold leaf molding on the high ceilings above them. The walls and ceilings were a nice warm-toned white and were paired with charcoal wood floors adorned with patterned area rugs around the shoe racks at the back. Alongside the shoes, the register desk stood in the back of the store and right next to a doorway to the storage room of the store. All around the store area past the window displays were racks of clothes of every size and color, with an escalator situated right across from the front entrance where the group was standing. If anything, it was quite the sight to a certain designer.

"You haven't seen anything yet! This is just the men's floor! There's more upstairs!" Rayla squealed, having been shopping here with Artemis for years and excited to show her favorite babysitter everything.

"How about you girls go up to the ladies' floor upstairs? I'll stay with Adrien to help him down here." Artemis suggested, smiling at her ward's excitement and looking to take the opportunity to talk to Adrien alone.

"Sounds great! Come on, Marinette!" Rayla cheered, quickly grabbing Marinette's arm and dragging her towards the escalator.

"Okay, okay!" Marinette fondly chided the eight-year-old, the two of them going to the escalator and finally leaving Artemis and Adrien alone. As soon as the girls were up on the second floor, Artemis and Adrien started to walk over to the aforementioned men's area.

"I can hear the gears in your mind turning from here, kid. You might as well say what you want to say while you can." Artemis said as they approached a rack of clothing near the entrance, momentarily surprising Adrien with her perceptiveness.

"Why are you helping us?" Adrien asked, finally breaking his silence after re-encountering Artemis now that he could talk about his heroic duties.

"Can't I just be nice and help out my friend's son and his friend to avoid a crazy mob?" Artemis questioned the boy, her hand trailing behind her to feel through the displayed clothes while walking through the racks of garments.

"Please don't be cheeky with me." Adrien tiredly requested, not in the mood for any games with the mysterious woman he was following.

"Sorry, I can't help it. It's in my nature to be sneaky." Artemis chuckled, turning to face him as she stopped walking. "Even then, Emilie was even worse than me when we were younger. She was always sneaking out from her parent's house and doing her own thing." the greying-brown-haired woman added as she looked off to her right, her arms crossing over her chest with a smirk as she once again reminisced her time with her friend.

"Much like you were, today." Artemis remarked, reverting her gaze to the boy in front of her.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Adrien inquired Artemis, flabbergasted by her accusation.

"Come on, Adrien. You're too much like your mother for me not to tell when you're lying." Artemis claimed, her smirk never leaving her face as she gave him an amused once over. "So please, tell me why you risked sneaking out of the mansion today of all days?" the older woman requested, her features softening to offer some form of support to the now nervous boy.

"It's... personal." Adrien shyly admitted, his arms coming to wrap around his middle while looking down at his feet.

"Let me guess... you wanted to go see Solitude, right?" Artemis asked, placing a comforting hand on the boy's shoulder and making him look right at her in shock.

"How did you know?" Adrien questioned the older woman, surprised that she hit the nail right on the head.

"It was obvious to me because that's where Rayla and I are going." Artemis revealed, leaving Adrien staring at her with wide eyes. "Well, me at least. Rayla doesn't much care for silent films and is going to see the new Trolls movie instead." she amended, which did nothing to settle Adrien's surprise at this unexpected fact Artemis had told him.

"But, it'll be nice to see a movie Em and I worked on with André again." Artemis fondly admitted as she started walking through the racks again, leaving a stunned Adrien behind.

"Wait... you worked on the film too?" Adrien asked, quickly processing her words as he caught up to her.

"Yes, I did. While Emilie was the main actress and André was the director, I worked behind the scenes as the camerawoman." Artemis regaled as she adverted her gaze to the rack of clothes, still walking through the store while inspecting the garments. "When André told me he was feeling sentimental and screening the movie today, I couldn't help myself in going to see it." the sea-green-eyed woman said, coming to stand next to a rack of jeans.

"Working on that film is one of the best memories I have with Emilie."Artemis continued, taking a pair of dark blue jeans from the rack and holding them to Adrien to see if they were for him. "Well... before she met that oh-so-serious husband of hers, that is." she added, shrugging her shoulders with a lopsided smile.

"Are you talking about my father?" Adrien asked, shaking his head at the presented jeans.

"Obviously." Artemis replied, putting the jeans back on the rack. "But I have to admit that he wasn't always so stuck up. He used to be fun." the greying-brown-haired woman admitted, starting to sift through the other colors of pants for something more befitting Adrien's preference.

"My dad... was fun when he was younger?" Adrien asked as he joined Artemis in the search, not believing what he was hearing.

"Is that so hard to believe? Honestly, with the way you have his horrible preference for wordplay, it's a wonder how you two didn't drive your mother crazy." Artemis groaned as she went through the jeans, having experienced a lot of Gabriel's cringiest puns over the years. "You know, that particular movie is also how your parents met." the older woman mentioned, startling Adrien from his searching to once again look at her in shock.

"Really? But mom always said that she met my dad when she came to Paris from the UK to study abroad." Adrien stated, wondering why Artemis was saying otherwise.

"Oh, they did. However, it's a bit more complicated than that." Artemis began, still looking through the jeans. "I met your mom a few years before she came to Paris and we became fast friends right away." She regaled as she took a pair of pale blue jeans from the rack, running her hands over the pant leg to smooth any creases.

"At the time, I had inherited my family's fortune and was rich enough for her parents to approve of our friendship. So when Emilie wanted to leave the country, they asked me if I could go and keep an eye on her even though I already planned on doing so." Artemis explained, lifting the new pair of jeans towards Adrien. "After arriving, we met André and became friends with him, quickly getting roped into his dreams of being a film director." the sea-green-eyed woman continued as she placed the pair of jeans back on the rack, both she and Adrien not liking that pair either.

"At first, things were going well. I was working backstage and making the movie magic come to life, André was directing and scriptwriting to his heart's content, and Emilie was getting to shine on the big screen like she had dreamed of. But then everything changed when Audrey, André's crush turned wife, came into the studio with her latest find." Artemis continued to regale, turning away from the rack to look at Adrien as she reached the end of her sentence.

"My father." Adrien stated, having a feeling where this story was going.

"Yep. Originally, Audrey brought Gabriel with her because the movie needed costumes. And in one of her rare and most charitable deeds in her youth, she lent Gabriel's talent and services to our project." Artemis went on as she took out a more colorful pair of jeans from the rack. "As soon as Emilie saw Gabriel while we were doing that very first scene, she fell head over heels in love with him." the greying-brown-haired woman reminisced, both her and Adrien liking the olive green Artemis had found.

"Wow... I had no idea." Adrien breathed in awe as he took the jeans from Artemis, draping them over his left arm before going to look for more options.

"I would have thought they'd tell you. It's the reason why Gabriel has the only existing DVD locked up in your house. It's a reminder of how he met Emilie and started their story together." Artemis reflected, still looking for more colors that suited Adrien.

"Father's been... less open since her passing. He barely talks about her now." Adrien nervously admitted, turning to another rack behind them and reaching for a pair of baggy black pants.

"I honestly don't blame him. I definitely didn't handle her loss well, either. Ended up a total mess when she passed away." Artemis confessed, nodding at Adrien's choice. "But we'll talk more about that later. We have only an hour before the movie starts, so we better get you some new clothes." the older woman reminded the boy, watching as he draped the black pants on his arm on top of the olive green pair.

"Right, of course. That's why we came here, after all." Adrien sighed, slightly disappointed that the woman who had been more open to him about his parents' love story than his own family was closing up again. But he filed those feelings away for the moment and went back to choosing more options for pants. "Dang, how am I going to choose what to wear?" the green-eyed model wondered aloud, seeing quite a few options that he liked but knew his father would never approve of.

"In my experience, clothes are meant to be an expression of who you truly are within. It's always best to choose what feels right to you." Artemis advised, bringing out a pair of charcoal jeans from the rack next to her.

"My dad used to say that very same thing before Mom passed away. He always strived to bring out the best in people through his designs." Adrien remembered, nodding at the offered pants and adding them to the others they picked out.

"A wise sentiment. While Gabriel and I were never friends, that was one of the few things we could agree on. Even when we first met each other." Artemis said, determining the amount of pants they had was enough to move on to the other parts of Adrien's new outfit. "You know, when your father was starting, I was his best customer after Audrey first brought him to the movie set." the sea-green-eyed woman revealed, leaving Adriend further surprised by her words as he followed her to the shirt racks.

"Really? He never said anything about that!" Adrien exclaimed while coming to stand at the shirt racks and shelves, not believing what he was hearing.

"He didn't know. I always made sure he didn't find out to make sure he didn't get an even bigger ego than he already did. But his work was always incredible, and I've always been wise in where I invested my money." Artemis admitted, a fond smirk on her lips while thinking of those times she helped support Gabriel in the past.

"Do you still have any of your commissions from him?" Adrien asked, starting to look through the shirts that they had on display.

"Of course. This outfit is the very first one I commissioned from him and he used the money from that commission to take Emilie out on their first date." Artemis replied, taking a few steps back to show off the outfit she had on to the boy. "And it's also the reason why I decided to wear it to see the movie. This outfit helped make Emilie happy and find true love in your father." the greying-brown-haired woman admitted, bashfully rubbing the back of her neck as she looked at the floor with a sigh.

"For all his faults, your father truly loved your mother. I've never seen anyone so devoted to another, since..." Artemis acknowledged, only to trail off as she thought about her own experiences with love.

"Since when?" Adrien questioned, left intrigued by her words before she shook herself out of her trance.

"It doesn't matter right now. Let's just focus on your disguise." Artemis decided, stepping to the shirts and refocusing on the task at hand once more.

"Right, of course." Adrien absentmindedly agreed, joining her in the search. But the abrupt change of subject only left Adrien further interested in learning the truth, now making him want to find out more about Artemis... wherever it might lead.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

While Adrien and Marinette were with Artemis and Rayla, Placide I.T. was still on the other side of town and finally exiting the Métro to try and find his charge after recovering from the fan mob. But just as he re-emerged to the streets of Paris, he was shocked to see the Agreste limo; which Placide had parked quite dangerously in his hurry to find Adrien, about to be towed by Officer Roger.

"Is this your vehicle?" Officer Roger questioned the bodyguard when he saw him, leaving Placide stunned. "What kind of parking job is this in the middle of Paris? Do you think you own the streets?" the officer berated Placide as he handed the bodyguard a ticket, causing the already enraged man to crumple and throw the ticket away while Roger went to address the person who was about to tow the car away.

"All right, take it away!" Officer Roger told the tow-truck driver, prompting the car to be lifted from its horrible parking spot. While that was happening, Placide's crumpled-up ticket suddenly bounced from the back of the wing mirror and hit the back of Roger's cap before stomping over to the limo. But after getting hit by the ticket, Officer Roger angrily turned around to lay down another lecture to the man, only to see Placide trying to get the car down from the tow truck.

"And assaulting a police officer on duty. This is not looking good for you!" the law enforcer warned the bodyguard, writing another ticket for him just as Placide suddenly heard his phone ring and quickly picked it up. "What do you think you're doing? Don't pick up! I'm talking to you!" Officer Roger demanded, to which Placide's only response was to turn away from the policeman and further anger him.

"All right, you asked for it! Failure to comply. And another for bad behavior." the officer lectured as he wrote yet another ticket, his words going in through one ear and out the other with Placide as he saw he had one new message... from his boss. Upon seeing the sender of the message, Placide's blood ran cold as he clicked on the voicemail and lifted his phone to his ear to listen to the message.

"What have you done? Where's Adrien? Don't tell me it's that hard to keep an eye on a fourteen-year-old boy! Or are you just too stupid to do something so simple? You'd better find him and fast!" Gabriel threatened from his end of the voicemail, leaving Placide nervous while Roger started sticking tickets on his body. Unfortunately for the bodyguard, growling at Roger while listening to Gabriel's message didn't help him much, only causing Roger to write him more tickets as he finished hearing Gabriel's warning. Nor did the sight of the Agreste limo being placed on the flatbed of the tow truck help either, leaving Placide both drowning in tickets and no ride to cover more ground.

What was he going to do, now?!

Fortunately or unfortunately; depending on one's opinion on the matter, Placide wasn't in as much trouble with his boss as he thought. Gabriel had only left the harsh voicemail for his son's bodyguard in the hopes of getting enough negative emotions out of him to turn him into an akuma. With the added strife Officer Roger added with being a constant thorn in Placide's side alongside the limo being towed, it was just the extra push Gabriel; now Hawkmoth, needed. And never one to pass up such a golden opportunity, Hawkmoth couldn't help the excitement bubbling within him as his lair's window opened to him, letting daylight stream into the large room.

"A failed bodyguard who can't perform his duties. Anger and frustration are perfect fodder for my akuma!" Hawkmoth crooned to his fluttering butterflies, pleased that his plan had worked as he transformed one of the aforementioned butterflies into an akuma and let it flutter from his grasp. " Fly away, my little akuma, and evilize him!" the silver Lucha Libre mask-wearing man ordered the corrupted bug, the akuma flying out the lair window opening and into the city towards its target.

Seeing as Placide was still near the Place des Vosges, the akuma didn't need to cover that much ground before finding him. Upon seeing its target, the akuma fluttered towards Placide I.T.; who was covered in Officer Roger's tickets, while the policeman and the tow truck drove away with the Agreste limo. But it wasn't until the bodyguard punched a nearby pole in anger and hurt his hand that it entered the bracelet Placide had found earlier, infecting the item he'd been holding the whole time and creating the psychic link.

"Gorizilla, I am Hawkmoth." Hawkmoth greeted the silent man once the link was established, the glowing purple butterfly-shaped outline appearing on Placide's face. "I'm giving you the tracking abilities you'll need to hunt down the person you've lost and accomplish your mission." the resident supervillain offered, quickly receiving a grunt of agreement from the bodyguard before he was quickly covered in the tell-tale dark arua and transformed into .

As soon as the transformation was complete, all the nearby civilians started running away screaming when they noticed the giant blue gorilla that appeared in the streets. The chaos also alerted Roger to turn around and see what was going on, only to come face to face with Gorizilla as he roared and pounded his fists on his chest in anger. Immediately, the cop joined the masses and ran away from the new akuma, knowing that it wouldn't be wise to face off against such a gargantuan villain.

But once all the civilians were gone, Gorizilla looked down at the tiny bracelet in his hands and smelled it, aiming to lock onto Adrien's lingering scent. As soon as he got a lock on it, the giant ape of an akuma put the bracelet in his pants pocket and lept into the air, jumping a distance into the city to track down Adrien.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Despite Gorizilla now on their tail, Adrien, Marinette, Artemis and Rayla were unaware of the danger coming after them... well, after Adrien at least. But since they didn't know about the new akuma, the quartet was still in Hex Coutrue and working on the two fourteen-year-olds disguises to avoid being recognised. It took a little bit and even though they didn't know how their companions were doing on the floor above them, Adrien and Artemis finally find him an outfit that no one would expect him to be in.

Much like the look Adrien had chosen for his civilian disguise, he had chosen his new disguise to be similar to it as well. The shirt he had chosen ended up being a sleeveless hoodie in a muted neon-green color, paired with a leather biker jacket on top of it. Out of the many options of pants that the two had chosen, Adrien decided to go with the charcoal ones to help break up all the black he already had in his outfit. The shoes were black lace-up combat boots with the charcoal pants tucked into them and black aviator sunglasses sitting on top of his head, adding to the look he was hoping for. But when looking at the whole look in the mirror, it didn't leave the two of them satisfied by the outfit.

"I don't know. Something's missing, don't you think?" Adrien mused aloud, turning his body around to look at the whole outfit from different angles within the mirror in the men's shoe area of Hex Couture.

"Yeah, you're right. It's missing something to make it yours truly." Artemis agreed, the hand resting on her chin coming to hover in the air near her head before snapping her fingers. Almost instantly, her black spell aura appeared around her hand and an image of a cartoon koala hugging a tea bag with the words 'My Puns are' above the image appears on the boy's new hoodie. "There! That's much better suited for you." the older woman declared, leaving a stunned Adrien to look at her through the mirror in awe... and recognition.

"I know that spell aura. I've seen it before!" Adrien exclaimed, turning to look at the smiling Artemis dead in the eye.

"Glad to see you're quick from the get-go. I was worried you'd be a little less alert than you actually are." Artemis commended the secret feline hero, impressed with his quick deduction.

"So, you're... Styx?" Adrien tentatively asked, earning a confirming nod from Artemis and leaving him flabbergasted by her silent answer.

"Are you a-" "Please. I'm not something as common as a mere Changeling, kid." Artemis quickly assured, even though she was omitting the full truth of what she was.

"But if that's the case... what are you?" Adrien questioned the newly revealed magical woman in front of him.

"I'm a sorceress." Artemis simply revealed.

"Then, why do you have a Troll form?" Adrien probed, finding Artemis's answer insufficient for his curious tendencies.

"Despite having a human Trollhunter and the latest heroic Miraculous holders being human, Troll-kind still isn't very open to humans in their cities. Magic users or not." Artemis explained as she looked off to the side, her arms coming to cross over her chest with a sigh before shaking off her train of thought to refocus on the conversation at hand. "Besides, what kind of proprietor of quality disguises would I be if I didn't use my own products to make sure they're up to scratch?" the sea-green-eyed woman rhetorically questioned the boy, earning a thoughtful nod from Adrien.

"Good point." Adrien replied, knowing that there was logic to her methods before another thought suddenly came to him. "Wait, if that's the case then why did my civilian disguise fizzle out when I bumped into the guy that started this mob in the first place?" the green-eyed model interrogated, thinking back to how he got into this mob mess in the first place.

"That disguise works differently than your Miraculous-based one. The one you use under your suit is based on a real appearance of yours, so it holds up easier than your other one." Artemis began to explain, letting her arms drop back to her sides. "Your civilian disguise, however, doesn't have a form to copy off of. It requires your full concentration to maintain the disguise and will fail the second you lose it." the greying-brown-haired-haired woman continued, defending her talents and illuminating the limits they had too.

"You never said that when I first got it. And it sure doesn't look like you have that problem." Adrien brought up, arching an accusatory eyebrow her way.

"I've had practice with mine. The more you work on your ability to subconsciously concentrate on maintaining the disguise, the easier it will become for you to do so." Artemis revealed, assuring Adrien that he could do the same as she in time. "But personally, I didn't think you and Ladybug would have to use those disguises as much as your hero ones, so I didn't worry about telling you." the older woman admitted, a small smile appearing on her lips as she bashfully rubbed the back of her neck while Adrien internally mulled it over.

"Seeing as today was the first time I used this disguise, that's a fair enough assumption to make." Adrien replied, knowing she did have a point. "Wait, are your magic abilities the reason why you know about the Miraculous?" the blonde model asked, hoping to finally figure out why Artemis knew so much about his ring and kwami.

"All magic users are aware of the Miraculous and their powers. It's something learned very early on when developing magical skills." Artemis explained, once again omitting certain truths about her knowledge... and herself.

"Right, I see." Adrien said, glad to have an exact answer to his question and unaware of the full extent of it before another loose thread came aboard his lessening list of questions. "So, is Rayla Maray? And is she like you, or...?" the well-mannered boy anxiously asked, hoping to fill in the lingering mysterious surrounding Artemis.

"Not quite. Yes, she is Maray and while she's my ward and has the potential to become a sorceress, she's still working on her combat skills before she starts her magic lessons." Artemis replied, coming to sit on a cushioned bench near them.

"Does she know about me?" Adrien questioned Artemis as he came to stand in front of her, his arms coming to cross themselves in front of his chest.

"Yes. But she knew before I told you I wouldn't tell anyone about your identity. So your secret is safe with the both of us." Artemis assured. "After all, we have secrets of our own to keep." the sea-green-eyed woman cheekily remarked, her hands coming to rest on the bench cushion as she leaned back on it.

"If you're so secretive, why are you using your powers in a public place?" Adrien asked, now intrigued by Artemis's relaxed state after being so careless.

"Oh, that's easy to explain." Artemis said, happily straightening her posture at the question. "Seeing as you already know about Trolls and mythical creatures, then you need to know that there are also many types of magic users out in the world." the greying-brown-haired woman declared, her right leg coming to rest on top of her left one while both hands rested on top of her right knee.

"You mean like... witches and wizards?" Adrien inquired, now left even more curious by Artemis's reveal of new knowledge.

"Those and among other classes of magic users. The main ones you should know about are hedge wizards, witches, sorcerers and sorceresses like yours truly and the cream of the crop, Master Wizards." Artemis explained, glad to see Adrien so interested in the magical world.

"What's the difference?" Adrien asked as he came to sit next to Artemis, eager to learn more as she rearranged her leg to have her knees resting side by side once again.

"The most common class are hedge wizards. They are the weaker class since they choose not to practice the arcane energies of Old Magicks and instead use their magic to help mortals in everyday things from techie problems to say..." Artemis continued, quickly turning to look at Adrien with a smirk. "The fashion industry?" the older woman cheekily added, causing Adrien to immediately understand her little clue.

"This store is run by hedge wizards?" Adrien questioned his companion, his eyes going wide with his realisation before looking around the interior of the store they were in.

"You catch on quick." Artemis praised, commending the boy for his quick deduction. "Yes, it is. Any store under the 'Hex' brand is. While the majority of hedge wizards work in the tech industry, most of the percentage in Europe prefer to work in more lavish mediums. Hence the Hex Couture stores, where all magic users are welcome to use their powers and the wizards working here help either create or copy the fashion item of a client's dreams." the sea-green-eyed woman elaborated, bringing her hands into the air in front of them to summon images of the hedge wizard history she was telling Adrien.

"But if that's the case, why is Hex Couture so expensive?" Adrien asked, captivated by the images she was showing him but also still so curious about the world hidden from the mortal one.

"The hedge wizards use the profits to fund their own magical interests. And those tend to be expensive, so..." Artemis trailed off, letting the magically conjured images fade away as she let her hands rest by her side and gave Adrien a playfully pointed look.

"Wow!" Adrien breathed in amazement, followed by his turning to look at Artemis with even more wonder. "But what about the other classes? What makes them stronger?" the green-eyed boy quizzed Artemis, eager to learn all there was to learn about the magical world to relay to his partner later on.

"The other classes of magic users are stronger because they either dabble or fully use the arcane energies of magic. Such a side effect is body longevity and semi-immortality." Artemis explained, her right hand coming to play around in the air in front of them while surrounded by her black spell aura. "Quick question, how old do you think I am?" the greying-brown-haired woman questioned Adrien, looking at him with an inquisitive eyebrow as a small orb of her magick appeared in her hand.

"I don't know... early forties?" Adrien nervously replied, his shoulders coming up to his ears while leaning away from the potentially offended woman next to him.

"Cute of you to try and not offend me. But unlike most mortals, I wear my age like a badge of pride." Artemis assured him, amused by his answer as she made the magick orb in her hand disappear. "I'm actually 200 years old." the older woman revealed, the hand she had been previously using to play around with her magic coming to rest on the bench once again while Adrien gawked at her.

"Really?! Wow, looking good." Adrien complemented, surprised to hear Artemis's 'real' age.

"Thanks. But this is what I mean by the benefits of using arcane energies. Depending on how a magic user uses them, it can reap great rewards." Artemis described, knowing full well of the benefits of said magic after having wielded it for so long. "But that doesn't mean there aren't ones more powerful than others." the sea-green-eyed woman added, her left hand coming to twirl her fingers in the air next to her and causing a trail of her magic to swirl around it.

"Witches are full-blown spell casters, making them more powerful than hedge wizards since they use the arcane energies of Old Magicks after years of practice. They tend to lean more toward spells than other mediums, making their connection to the arcane energies stronger." Artemis explained, letting the magic that swirled in the air around her finger condense into an orb and roll it around on her hand.

"But it tends to make them more one-trick ponies because of that, right?" Adrien asked, watching Artemis playing with her magic with awe.

"Exactly. Though I happen to know a witch that strays from that trend and is very formidable." Artemis admitted, looking off to the side as she thought about that particular friend before extinguishing her little orb of magic. "Then you have sorcerers and sorceresses like me, who like witches can use the arcane energies too. But we mostly rely on other mediums of magic alongside Old Magicks." the greying-brown-haired woman continued, flourishing her left hand to summon a few images of different yet famous sorcerers and sorceresses in the magical world... excluding Artemis herself.

"I myself am more of a potion maker than a spell caster, so it makes me a sorceress with a wide range of spells that I can use." Artemis admitted, watching as Adrien continued watching the images she was showing him.

"What type of spells do you know?" Adrien asked, interested to know her range of magickal knowledge.

"Mostly combat. I do know a bunch of other ones too alongside them, however. Such as that little parlour trick I did when we first met." Artemis said, bringing a smile to Adrien's face at the reminder of their unknowingly first meeting. "But neither I nor my witch friend compare to the Master Wizards." she acknowledged, the images she was conjuring changing to show that class of magic users.

"They truly embrace the arcane energies of old Magicks and use them in many shapes and forms to suit their magic styles and needs. The most notable magic users in that category are Merlin's apprentice, Hisordoux Casperian, The Pale Lady and Merlin Ambrosius himself." Artemis regaled, her magic showing images of the aforementioned Master Wizards.

"Wow, that's impressive." Adrien muttered in wonderment, only to look at his new shoes in thought. "Did... did my mother know about all this?" the blonde model asked, quickly adverting his gaze back to Artemis as she let her magic fade away.

"Oh, she knew everything about me and I exposed her to this world after I told her my secrets." Artemis admitted, lowering her left hand to once again come and rest on the bench like her other one. "Just like I will do so for you in time." the older woman assured Adrien, who looked at her with slight contempt for her words.

"Why not now? Granted, you've been more open with me today, but there's obviously more." Adrien probed, not liking the idea that he had to wait to know more about the magical woman his mother was friends with.

"There's a right time and place for everything, Adrien. And right now, I can't tell you more." Artemis lectured the boy, finding his impatience amusing. "But at some stage, I promise you will know everything I know." the Changeling in disguise assured Adrien when seeing him look at the ground in frustration, placing a hand on his shoulder and making Adrien's frustration fade away as he smiled at her.

"Now come on. Let's meet with the girls to pay for your clothes and head to the theatre." she announced, coming to stand from the bench and holding a hand out to Adrien for him to join her.

"Sounds good to me." Adrien replied, taking her hand and getting lifted from the bench before they headed over to meet with Marinette and Rayla, who were just coming down the escalator as they arrived at the base.

"And the centaur said 'That's not the half I'm talking about!' " Rayla exclaimed, finishing a very humorous joke Artemis had once told her and making the two girls let out hearty laughs as they reached the bottom of the escalator.

But as they stepped off the escalator, Adrien was soon slack-jawed at the outfit Marinette was wearing after her and Rayla's time together on the floor above. Now out of her pyjamas from her hasty departure from her house, Marinette was dressed in a soft pink lace dress with a V neckline to the top of her calves. Adorning her feet was a pair of black boots to her mid-claves, which was a much better option than the slippers she had on earlier. Finishing the look was a black pleather jacket on top of her new dress and her hair in a high ponytail, adding a more casual air to the outfit. Seeing Adrien's state, Artemis smirked at the sight as she used her hand to close his mouth by the underjaw, snapping him out of his trance.

"You're mouth is for eating and talking, kid. Not for catching flies." Artemis chided the boy, followed by her walking over to the girls with a smile while Adrien kept gathering his wits. "Looks like someone found an outfit that suits them." the older woman praised, loving the look the two girls had picked out for Marinette.

"I still can't believe you brought me here! Nor that I'm wearing Hex Couture originals!" Marinette gushed, her duffle bag still slung over her shoulder as her hands anxiously clenched on the strap as she spoke.

"Think nothing of it. Anything for the girl who babysits my ward and my best friend's son." Artemis assured the girl, waving off her worries. "Now, let's pay for your clothes and get going. Adrien here thought of a good hiding place to avoid the mob." the sea-green-eyed woman announced, both she and Rayla turning to walk over to the checkout while Adrien still stood with Marinette by the escalator.

"You look... very nice, Adrien. That outfit suits you well." Marinette complemented, managing not to stutter like she normally did as she fully took in his new look.

"Thanks. And you look very pretty in yours." Adrien replied after gathering his thoughts to form a cohesive sentence, making Marinette blush at the attention while Rayla came back over to them.

"Hey, you two! Artemis can't pay for the clothes if you aren't over here!" Rayla reminded the awkward teens, feeling only slightly bad about interrupting the moment between the two of them.

"Right, sorry!" Adrien and Marinette responded, the two of them talking at the same time again before they turned to each other and laughed at their little habit. With the need to giggle at their repeated tendencies, Adrien and Marinette quickly go with Rayla to head back over to meet with Artemis, eager to try and enjoy the remainder of their day without the mob after them.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Seeing as Hex Couture was an enchanted store, its magic prevented Gorizilla from sniffing Adrien's sent out right away. Fortunately, the magic lingered around the group as they left the store and headed to the cinema where Solitude was being screened, which was a block away from Hex Couture. The walk there was once again quiet for the group and they reached the theatre just in time for the previews for both movies to start.

"Alright! Here we are!" Rayla announced as the group walked up to the theatres, throwing her arms out to present the theatre to them.

"The movies!" Marinette exclaimed as she turned to face Adrien, impressed by his choice of hiding places. "Good thinking, Adrien! This is a perfect hiding place for us with the dark theatres we can use!" the designer praised the boy, causing him to blush at the compliment from under his hood while Artemis went to pay for the kids' tickets while they entered the theatre.

"Artemis Queen, here to pick up my pre-paid tickets." Artemis greeted the Ticketmaster, followed by her reaching into her purse and pulling out her wallet while they got to work with her tickets. "And two teen tickets for Solitude, please?" the older woman added, holding out her credit card to the Ticketmaster.

"Of course." the Ticketmaster replied, grabbing Artemis's car and ringing her up before handing her the tickets.

"Thank you. Have a nice day." Artemis expressed, taking her card back too before joining the group again. "Alright, we're all set and we won't be kicked out of the theatres now." the sea-green-eyed woman declared, giving the kids their respective tickets.

"Wonderful." Marinette cheered. "But seeing as we are going to be hiding in a theatre, might as well watch it, right?" the pigtailed girl asked, pleasing the others with her assumption.

"My thoughts exactly." Adrien agreed, sending a knowingly sly look Artemis's way since they had both intended to come to see Solitude in the first place.

"In that case..." Artemis began, soon pointing to the concession stand across the room. "Snacks anyone?" the greying-brown-haired woman questioned the group, quickly bringing a smile to Rayla's lips.

"Yes!! I want Blue Rasberry BonBons and popcorn!" Rayla excitedly announced, her fists pumping into the air before she and the other chuckling members of the group went over to the counter. But before Adrien could follow, he felt a sudden spike of pain just under his ribs.

"Ow! What the...?" Adrien yelped, immediately stopping in his tracks to open his jacket up and spy Plagg looking up at him. "Did you seriously just bite me, Plagg?" the green-eyed model hissed at his kwami, not liking how he had caught his attention.

"We need to talk. Now." Plagg quietly replied, his normally aloof behavior missing and exchanged for a more serious tone.

"Can't it wait? I'm so close to seeing Mom's movie." Adrien said, copying Plagg's volume to avoid anyone hearing their conversation.

"No." Plagg stated, leaving Adrien stunned by his simple answer.

"Ugh, fine." Adrien sighed, rolling his eyes as he turned to face the others again. "Hey guys, I need to use the men's room real quick." the blonde model explained as they turned to face him, hoping to quickly take care of what Plagg wanted to talk about.

"Go on ahead. We'll get the snacks and drinks while you're in there. Any requests?" Artemis asked.

"Lightly salted popcorn, sprite and a bag of candy, please? Dealers choice on the candy, but I do prefer tangy over sweet or sour." Adrien requested, smiling at how understanding Artemis was being.

"You got it!" Rayla declared out of eagerness to help out, pointing at Adrien with a confirming nod of her head.

"Thanks! I'll be right back." Adrien assured, followed by him walking over to the bathrooms and entering them before checking to make sure no one was there before letting Plagg fly out of his jacket. "Okay, Plagg. What did you want to talk to me about?" the green-eyed boy asked, concerned about his kwami's behavior.

"I wanted to talk about Artemis/Styx." Plagg replied, finally admitting to his urgent manner while a pleased look appeared on the boy's face at the mention of the older woman.

"She's awesome, right? Who knew my mom knew a sorceress?" Adrien gushed, not seeing the conflicted wince Plagg was giving him as he spoke.

"That's part of why I wanted to talk to you." Plagg tentatively admitted, causing Adrien to look at him with confusion. "I'm not entirely sure, but I've got a bad feeling about Artemis. Like there's something she's keeping from you and; by extension, me." the black kwami explained, coming to float in front of his holder with worry.

"Well, she has admitted to still having a few secrets up her sleeve, so that's nothing new." Adrien countered while looking at Plagg with perplexion, his palms facing the ceiling as he shrugged his shoulders.

"Yeah. That's what worries me." Plagg said, looking at the floor below him.

"What are you saying, Plagg?" Adrien questioned the kwami, his arms going back to his sides as he kept looking at Plagg in confusion.

"Don't you think it's weird how she just happens to know your mom so closely, but she only properly met you now?" Plagg asked, pointing out some of the weird things about Artemis's interactions with Adrien so far. "And what about how she was so open to you today? It was quite strange of her to tell you so much compared to the first time you met her." the cheese gremlin noted, causing Adrien's confused stare to contort into a contemplative pout as his hand rose to rest on his chin in thought while looking off to the side.

"Yeah, I'll admit it's a little strange. But seeing as she is a sorceress, it's understandable Artemis opened up in a familiar environment that's welcoming to magic." Adrien reasoned aloud, thinking about what Artemis had told him earlier. "And she's been nothing but helpful to me and Ladybug since meeting her, so she's got that going for her, too." the blonde model added, letting his hand drop from his chin and looking back at his kwami again.

"Not to mention that she really helped me and Marinette out in getting disguises to avoid the fan mob. No offence to Marinette's ingenuity, but I highly doubt that she could make us good disguises with the stuff in her bag. I mean, I don't think her wearing a towel as a turban and swim goggles while I wear just a motorcycle helmet was going to cut it." Adrien said, not trying to be mean to his friend but also trying to be realistic at the same time.

"You do know how blind people can be, right?" Plagg remarked, giving Adrien a deadpan stare. "Oh don't look at me like that! You know it's true." the black kwami argued, flying to poke Adrien's nose amid his retort.

"Plagg, I know that I was suspicious of Artemis after our first meeting. But now that she's been more open with me this time, I feel like I was too quick to judge her." Adrien admitted, gently pushing Plagg away from his nose to have him float in front of him again.

"I get it, kid. She's been more open to you than your parents and you feel like she's trustworthy. But I just can't get over this feeling that she's much more nefarious than she says she is." Plagg said, knowing that Adrien did have trouble opening up to adults a bit... even if he didn't admit it.

"While you are entitled to your feelings, Plagg, I think you're being paranoid." Adrien argued, feeling that Plagg's worries were unfounded since the kwami never actually talked to Artemis before.

"Says the boy who was questioning why his mother's best friend was someone so secretive." Plagg fired back with a pointed look, his arm nubs crossing themselves in front of his tiny chest.

"She's not very secretive now, though. And even if Artemis does have some left, she's entitled to have them... like I do with you." Adrien countered, knowing that he couldn't be so judgemental of Artemis having some secrets when he had his own.

"While that may be so, there are all sorts of alarm bells going off in my head when I'm near Artemis. It's almost like... I knew her from somewhere else before you met her." Plagg explained, looking at the floor again as he tried to remember where.

"From where?" Adrien asked, now a little curious about Plagg's strange feeling.

"I don't know. But maybe we should keep our distance until I can confirm where." Plagg advised, hoping that Adrien would listen to him.

"Kind of hard to do at the moment. But I still think you're being paranoid about her." Adrien said, ignoring Plagg's warning since it entailed possibly missing seeing the movie with the others.

"Adrien..." Plagg began, his nubs falling to his sides as he looked at his holder in concern.

"Look, we'll talk more about this later. We better get back to the others." Adrien decided, opening his jacket to tell Plagg to hide inside. "Come on and hide, Plagg." the green-eyed boy told Plagg, who reluctantly went back into his holder's jacket before Adrien exited the restroom and joined back with the group. Once he was out of the restroom, Adrien quickly walked back to the others and soon found himself standing next to Artemis while Marinette and Rayla were still picking out their snacks. Upon seeing Adrien rejoining them, Artemis looked down at him with a smile... only to see the pout on his face.

"Everything okay, kid? You were in the restroom for a while there." Artemis asked, concerned to see Adrien so troubled when he had been so happy earlier.

"Everything's good." Adrien assured her, his pout turning into a soft smile as he turned to look up at her as he spoke.

"Ooookay, then." Artemis replied, feeling like he was hiding something from her but dropped the matter before they joined Marinette and Rayla at the snack counter, getting their treats for the movies too.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With their snacks soon in hand, the quartet made their way to their respective theatres. But when Rayla split off to go see her movie, it left Marinette puzzled since the eight-year-old hadn't told her why they were out and about when finding her and Adrien.

"I don't get it. If Adrien only just suggested hiding in the theatre, why is Rayla going to see a different movie than us?" Marinette asked Artemis as they entered their theatre, snacks in hand while a car commercial was playing on-screen as they found their seats.

"Actually, Rayla and I were planning on coming here before we found you two." Artemis admitted, letting Adrien and Marinette go down the aisle before she followed them.

"And the reason why I suggested coming here was because this is where I was originally heading when those crazed fans suddenly showed up. Thanks to your, Artemis and Rayla's help, my father won't find out and I'll get to see the movie." Adrien added as he sat down in the middle of the row, Marinette sitting next to him while Artemis sat on the girl's right.

"Wait. You aren't allowed to go to the movies?" Marinette questioned her crush, shocked to hear Adrien's struggle.

"I am. With my bodyguard or Nathalie, of course. But I'm not sure my father would've allowed me to see this particular movie." Adrien explained, placing his drink into his cup holder while Marinette and Artemis placed their bags on the floor at their feet.

"Oh, no! Please don't tell me it's a horror movie! I hate horror movies!" Marinette yelped in fright, scrunching in on herself in her seat as she voiced her displeasure at the thought.

"Don't worry, it's not a horror movie. It's actually the opposite of that." Artemis assured the designer, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "It's a very rare movie that not many have ever been able to see." the older woman elaborated, her words doing well to calm Marinette from her panic.

"She's right. It's not on the Internet and my father's hidden the only DVD somewhere at home." Adrien added, watching as Marinette let herself relax. "And the best part is... my mother played the leading role." the green-eyed model breathed in reverence as he turned to face the movie screen, bringing a smile to Artemis's face and leaving Marinette shocked.

"Wow. I had no idea." Marinette said, looking at the screen as well as she processed the new tidbit about Adrien, only to realise..."Wait, is that why you're here to see it, Artemis?" the designer asked, turning to the older woman for confirmation.

"That, and I worked on the movie with Emilie too." Artemis simply answered.

"Really?!" Marinette breathed in shock, her eyes wide in amazement.

"Yep. Rayla would have joined us, but she's not much of a silent movie fan." Artemis explained, shrugging her shoulders in a 'what can you do?' manner. "Though I'm glad that Adrien's finally getting to see it. While I don't know why Emilie didn't show it to Adrien when she was still alive, I know it would mean a lot to her to that he went through so much trouble to see it today." the sea-green-eyed woman said, smiling over at the boy in question after he turned to face them again.

"How come?" Marinette asked.

"It's only being shown today. In this theatre." Adrien replied, cleaning up any lingering confusion. "I couldn't talk to my father about it, so I decided to sneak out... unnoticed." he added, only to spot a movie patron coming to sit near them and have to turn his face away from them to avoid being recognised.

"I don't think the 'unnoticed' bit went too well." Marinette playfully observed, causing Artemis to chuckle at her light-hearted jab.

"Oh well. At least I'll get to see it." Adrien said, glad that things turned out well in the end. "Not to mention this is the first time I've ever come to the movies with a friend." the blonde model remarked, causing Marinette to chuckle gleefully at him while Artemis merely rolled her eyes at his choice of words. But just before she could say anything, the lights dimmed and the last preview; which was the infamous Adrien ad, was over... signalling the movie was about to begin.

"Ooh! It's starting!" Marinette exclaimed, causing the three of them to turn their attention to the screen as the 'Graham Films' logo appeared on a black background.

From there, the opening showed a scene of a rainy day in Paris with the text 'Production A. Bourgeois' shown on-screen. After cutting to the next scene, a woman is shown walking on the riverside of the Seine with an umbrella, with the text Solitude appearing next to her. Upon seeing the familiar silhouette, Adrien gasped when he saw the text 'Emilie Graham de Vanily' in the next scene, taking off his hood for a better look. But that proved to be the wrong choice when the nearby movie patron noticed him and took a photo of him, Marinette and Artemis, catching their attention.

" 'Adrien at the movies with his girlfriend!' " the movie patron read aloud as he typed the caption, quickly posting it while Adrien immediately put his hood back on. Unfortunately, the trio then hears a very familiar voice from behind the theatre entrance door.

"Adrien's at the movies!" Wayhem screamed as he burst through doors, he and the swarm of fans rushed over to get where Marinette, Adrien and Artemis were seated.

"We're trapped! What are we gonna do?" Adrien fretted as the mob of fans started taking pictures of them. Fortunately, it didn't last long when a now angry Artemis shot up from her seat, phone in hand.

"ENOUGH!! EVERYONE BACK AWAY FROM THESE KIDS RIGHT NOW OR I'LL CALL THE POLICE AND HAVE YOU ALL ARRESTED FOR HARASSMENT!!" Artemis yelled, causing everyone in the mob to immediately quiet down and back away from them. "Thank you. Now could you lot finally get your heads on straight and leave these two alone? You guys are chasing them down like a pack of hungry lions on a gazelle, all while they are just trying to enjoy their day." the greying-brown-haired woman demanded, starring the crowd down with her patented 'Fury Eyes'.

"But he's Adrien Agreste! A celebrity!" Wayhem spoke up, clutching his cutout in disbelief of Artemis's 'request'.

"Celebrity or not, both he and Marinette here are only fourteen years old. Minors." Artemis said, gesturing to the two teens sitting on her left. "And correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm seeing a lot of adults in this rabid mob." the older woman observed, making said adults shy away from the criticism.

"I don't understand how any of you can look at yourselves in the mirror with how deplorable your actions have been today. It's like you don't understand that celebrities; kids especially, are people too. They have the right to refuse your requests. And if the boy says 'no', it doesn't mean you hound after him until he does so. Seriously, why the heck were you guys even chasing after him in the first place? All because of a really cringy ad? I have half a mind to call the police on you for your stalking today." Artemis ranted, having enough of the mob's foolishness despite only getting directly involved mere seconds ago.

"We didn't mean to be so pushy. We just wanted to meet Adrien." Wayhem said, trying to defend himself and the others.

"Per recollection, this whole mess started when you posted a photo of yourself and Adrien. Did you or any of the others here bother to ask what he wanted, or did you force him to go with your demands?" Artemis questioned the boy, causing Wayhem to shrink away in shame as well. "Honestly, why is it that when someone famous walks amongst the masses, you all go berserk? It's not like the whole world is suddenly ending, you know!" the sea-green-eyed woman exclaimed, hoping she managed to get through to them on their unsavoury habits towards celebrities.

But before the mob could do so, everyone in the theatre suddenly heard loud stomps from outside, causing Artemis's eyes to widen in fear.

"EVERYONE, GET CLEAR!! NOW!!!" Artemis yelled in warning before bringing Adrien and Marinette in towards herself... mere moments before a large blue hand smashed through the ceiling. Instantly, the mob starts to run away screaming when they see the large hand, missing the moment when Adrien is grabbed from the falling rubble, taking him away from Artemis and Marinette. And as the hand lifted Adrien out of the theatre building, the boy was greeted by the giant face of Gorizilla; who finally tracked him down after Hex Coutrue's magic finally wore off, as he let him sit on his palm.

"Are you...my bodyguard?!" Adrien gawked at Gorizilla, quickly recognising him before the akuma sniffed at him. Surprised by the action, Adrien gasped and the mob took it as a sign to start throwing food at Gorizilla, thinking the akuma was attacking their idol.

"Let go of Adrien, right now!" Wayhem demanded the akuma, causing Artemis to look up from protecting Marinette from the falling rubble and glare at him.

"You need to stop that! You're making things worse!" Artemis hissed at Wayhem, only to turn and see Gorizilla about to come down to attack the mob. "Placide, don't! They're innocent!" the greying-brown-haired woman pleaded as she came to stand in front of the mob, letting Marinette get away as she protected the civilians from the giant gorilla of an akuma.

"Stop! I'm the one you wanted. Leave them alone!" Adrien yelled at Gorizilla, standing on his palm and waving his hands at him to catch his attention from the mob. Fortunately, it seemed to have worked when Gorizilla turned to face his charge, only for Hawkmoth to take this opportunity to test his theory.

"Gorizilla, you have fulfilled the first part of your mission!" Hawkmoth praised his latest akuma, glad to see his son was safe despite everything that had happened. "Now don't let go of Adrien! Not until Ladybug and Chat Noir come to rescue him!" the resident super terrorist ordered Gorizilla, cutting off the link before the giant gorilla suddenly gripped Adrien tightly in his fist, stunning the poor boy.

Unfortunately, Gorizilla didn't give him much time to recover before leaping away, looking to carry out Hawkmoth's orders as he left the theatre. But even though Gorizilla's arrival had caused most of the mob and theatregoers to vacate the premises, Wayhem was still in the theatre and had witnessed all of Adrien's kidnapping.

"Adrien, I'm coming to save you!" Wayhem declared before running to the door, exiting the theatre in the hopes of helping Adrien. Unknown to him, Artemis had run after him as well, wanting to make sure Adrien would be safe for the ensuing battle and leaving the theatre for Marinette to transform undisturbed.

"Adrien needs me!" Marinette said to Tikki, coming out of her hiding place now that the theatre was empty and grabbing her disguise runestone from out underneath her dress. After a quick donning of her Ladybug disguise, all that was left was a quick... "Tikki, spots on!" the pigtailed girl shouted, transforming into Ladybug and exiting through the hole in the roof, hoping to catch up with Gorizilla before it was too late.
