baaasically, what happened was, after a long time of hearing stories about her favourite fashion designer's son, marinette finds herself infatuated with him. she collected cards and photographs -- anything as long as it contained something about him (his modelling, his autograph, etc.)

one day, after being so tired at working in the bakery, alya comes in and tells her that gabriel agreste is throwing another big party. despite having attended his old ones, marinette declines the invite. that is, until she received the news that adrien will be attending as well!
