(Adrian's POV)
We venture along the beach, picking up shells and dried coral in various shapes and colors. "So you like to design, right?" I ask, attempting at small talk. "Huh? Oh! Er yea," why does she always stammer around me? She looks up at me for a second and we both let out a quick laugh. "Why are you laughing?" We ask at the same time and laugh again. "I-it's just, you-your sunburnt. Like bad," Mari says timidly. "Heh you too," I chuckle. "Guess we should have remembered sunscreen huh?" She nods. We head back to the campsite just in time to hear Mrs. Bustier tell everyone that she will not be participating in the camp out. "And I expect no funny business!" She finishes and drives off in the boat. "Alright! No adults!" Nino cheers. Alya shakes her head. "It's only for two days, Nino. Any way where have you two been?" She eyes us suspiciously then the two bust out laughing. "You-you guys are s-so RED!!" She shouts. I blush, not that anyone can tell, and narrow my eyes. "Grr. I bet you'll be sunburnt by the time we leave here too Alya!" Mari spats. She never acts like this. It's familiar, almost, admirable. "You've got to be kitten me guys," I cross my arms and slap my hand on my mouth as soon as I realize why my three friends are staring at me.

(Mari's POV)
I roll my eyes and smile slightly, "Really? A pun, Mon Chatton?" I too smack a hand over my mouth. No. No no nonononono! Alya may jump to conclusions and I may have been able to trick her many times but this time I might as well have told her I'm Ladybug. "You-you just said a cat pun," Alya points to Adrian, "And you just called him Chatton..." She points at me. Oh no. Oh no. Oh no oh no oh no oh no! "You guys must be fans of Ladybug and Chat Nior too!!" She thrills. Me and Adrian let a sigh of relief and nervous laughs. "Yea," I breathe, "totally fans." "But more Chat," Adrian smirks. "And why is that?" I challenge turning to him. He looks taken aback at first then smirks a bit like someone I know... "Well for one he's good looking," he begins. "Even though you can only see like half of his face," I roll my eyes and instantly blush. "He has awesome puns, and he's a great hero," he grins. "One," I begin my mini rant, "his puns are awful," I giggle. Why did I giggle. They aren't cute! Uh right? "and while he may be uh slightly good erm looking you can barely see his face," WHY DID I SAY THAT?!?! Adrian looks stunned and smirks that familiar smirk. "He's a total flirt and Ladybug is just way cooler." "So you think he's cute?" Adrian asks. "Uh ER did-did I s-say th-that?" I stammer. Alya laughs and I throw her a glare.

(Adrian's POV)
"So, what are we going to do about dinner?" Nathan asks. "I brought some hot dogs. It might be enough for the whole class," Rose smiles. We all look and find sticks to skewer the hot dogs with and sit around a camp fire. "Dudes, anyone got any good ghost stories?" Nino asks the group. "Well it's not necessarily a ghost story but, one night there were three girls, but they weren't just normal girls," Alya begins her story, "these girls were mermaids." "Seriously mermaids?" Kim asks, rolling his eyes. "Yes. Deal with it," Alya snaps and every one snickers and Alix punches Kim's shoulder. "Any way, the mermaids were hanging out in their Moon Pool, inside this very volcano, when the pool began to glow. They looked at their hands which were heating up. A ring began to form on each of their hands, silver with a blue stone. The rings, called Moon Rings after the pool, gave them magic powers, The power to manipulate liquid. One could heat it, another could freeze it, and the third could shape and bend the water. One full moon, the girls were hanging out in their Moon Pool when a full moon passed over the volcano. The power of it trapped the girls inside the Moon Pool for eternity in spirit form. Now they say if you enter the Moon Pool during a full moon when the moon is directly above the pool, it will transform you into a mermaid." "It's a full moon tonight!" Rose squeaks, hiding behind her best friend. "S'MORES!!!" Nino and Alix shout in unison, scaring the crap out of everyone and holding up marshmallows, Gramham crackers, and chocolate. After s'mores we gather into our respective tents and sleeping bags. "Night Mari," I smile. "N-night A-Adrian," she replies and we quickly fall asleep.

I wake up to a rustle outside the tent. Groggily, I look around. Wait, Mari's gone! I stick my head outside and see her walk toward the jungle with some small red bug looking thing pulling on her pajama shirt. "Huh?!" I gasp. "What's she doing?!" Plagg asks zooming out of my sleeping bag. "Exactly. I gotta make sure she doesn't get hurt. Plagg, CLAWS OUT!" I say in a hushed and worried tone. After transforming, I jump silently behind my friend, following her. She seems to be entranced as she falls through a tunnel in the ground. "MARINETTE!" I yell after her and tumble down. I hit the ground just in time to see Mari jump into a pool of water. "Mari!" I jump toward her, in attempt to pull her out, but end up falling in. I grab Mari, who turns out to have fallen unconscious, as the pool starts to glow. Marinette starts to glow pink and turns into, Ladybug! I notice I changed into my pajamas also. "What?!" The Ladybug costume and my civilian clothes dissipate and we change back into what we were wearing before. "Ladybug is, Marinette?" I ask myself. I suddenly feel a surge of affection for my friend. Her eyes flutter open and she groans lightly, "Wh-Where am I?" She looks up and sees me, "C-Chat? Wh-where are we? Wh-why are we in water?!" I quickly try to calm her down. "Hey hey! You were sleep walking, Princess. As for where we are-" I'm cut off by a bright glow. The glow brightens around our legs. I look down and my eyes widen as I watch our legs elongate and our feet widen to, TAILS?! "C-Chat! My-my feet!!" Mari screams. The glow fades and I get a clear view of our new tails. Mine is solid black with a lime green fin. Marinette's is longer than mine and pale pink with a white fin and black swirls in the fin. "You- I- we-!" Mari stammers. "Princess, I need you to stay calm," I tell her calmly. "We have to get out of here. I think I see an opening down there." I point toward the bottom of the pool. We both dive down and pop back up on the other side. "Why do we have fish feet?" Mari asks slowly and I chuckle, "Hmmm..." I gasp. "Alya's story!- Uh I mean the Legend of Mako?" "The Moon Pool!" Mari concludes and she looks at her hand. There's a ring. The exact ring from Alya's story! "The Moon Ring!" She gasps. "Uh Chat?" "Yea?" "Your face is red." Oh no. My sunburn! Not to mention I'm kinda blushing. "O-oh uh," I rub the back of my neck. "Hee hee the famous Chat Nior, speechless," Mari giggles. "You're cute when you giggle," I smirk and she blushes. "You probably say that to every girl," she rolls her eyes. I can see her Ladybug showing. "Only to my Prrrrincess, anyway we need to get you back to the camp site," I tell her and we swim to the shore. After a few minutes on shore our tails turn back to normal. "I guess it only works in water," Mari ponders aloud. "Yea, and you need to head back to bed," I say and quickly rush off. In the distance I hear Mari shout, "WAIT CHAT!! Thanks!" She says with uh affection in her voice? I hurriedly change back and jump into my sleeping bag. "Awwww he's so cute when he sleeps," I hear Mari say as she slips inside the tent and I can barely hold in a laugh. I could say the same for you, Princess.
