(Mari's POV)
"Where's Sadie?" Bri asks frustrated. I shrug, "Hummm... What if..." I stick my hand out pushing all the water out from under Bri. "Can't hold it for long!" I warn her and she nods. She turns the water into a hard glass like gel. "There that should hold," she says. "So we sit here until we dry?" I ask. Bri shrugs. "I guess. Don't really know what else to do." When she shrugs a burst of air comes from her hand. "You saw that too right?" She asks and I nod. "Blow dryer?" I ask and she nods and blasts my tail with a burst of surprisingly warm wind. My legs soon return and I stand up. Bri drys herself off and works at opening the door. "Ahhh freedom," she sighs. We head outside to meet the class but they aren't there. "Where did everyone go?" I ask as Bri shakes her head and pulls out her phone. I watch her text Sadie.

Bri: Hey! Where the hell did you guys go!?

The reply came after a few minutes.

Sadie: Chloe said- oh I see what happened. She told us that you said you would meet us at the island

Bri: And there was nothing suspicious about that...

Sadie: Hey! Sorry! I didn't know!

Bri: Yea yea yea I know. Where are you so we can catch up?

Sadie: We are at the aquarium.

Bri: Sweet got it.

Bri points in front of her, "To the aquarium!"

(Adrian's POV)
"Chloe, we're friends and all but a guy need his personal space," I tell her but she doesn't release my arm from her cat like grip. "Adrihoney!" She shrieks in my ear, "You aren't dating that Maritrash, are you?!" "As a matter of fact, I am," I say, pushing her off. "Well little Miss. Clutz seems to be a no show, along with old grape head," she says while checking her nails. "You wanna say that to my face, Bleach Blond?" Someone growls behind me. "No prob,Grape Head," she smirks. "Hey let's not-" I start but Bri cuts me off. "I got this Bannana Brain, no offense," she says without taking her eyes off Chloe. I know she's not being mean and I instantly back off, knowing she's mad and serious. "The whole 'tough girl' act, I don't buy it. You're just a brat who likes to scare people to get attention," Chloe spats. Bri raises her eyebrow and glares at her, "You are spoiled and you think you're something special because your Dad is a pushover who will get you anything you want just because he's a mayor. Well guess what? The world doesn't revolve you." She spits at her. Literally and figuratively. All I can do is watch the two girls shout things at each other and hope none of Chloe's words get to Bri. I know how bad they can hurt. "Do-do you think she'll be ok?" Mari whispers to me in a voice that's barely audible. "I hope so Mari, I hope so..." I whisper back, wrapping my arm around her shoulders as she looks up at me with her big, worried, blue bell eyes.

(Bri's POV)
We spit insults back and forth until, "You little, useless, brat! You aren't anything! You've been here less than a day and already think you're something! You aren't!" She spats. I just stand there, unable to do anything. "No wonder your only friends are Maritrash-" "Don't call her that," I growl. "And that weirdo with the mismatched rags for clothes." "It's one thing to insult me," I growl lowly, "but insulting my friends is crossing the line. Their names, are Marinette, and Sadie." My eyes start to fill with hot tears. "They're names are as unimportant as you," she says so lowly only I can hear. I can't take it anymore. I take off before anyone can see the hot, salty tears running down my face. I dive into the water and cry without shame.
That's when I hear a familiar voice boom inside my head. "Honey Badger, I am Hawkmoth. That girl insulted your friends," the male voice says. "All you have to do is-" a female voice says but I cut her off. "Yea, the Miraculous, you got it." "Very smart young woman you are," I can almost see her smile in my head. I allow myself to be lifted out of the water and changed. My badger suit returns to Bella's horror but instead of black and white, it's solid black and my now red stick shoots venom. I look around with my now red eyes and grin. "Chloe, you shouldn't mess with a super hero and her friends,"

(Adrian's POV)
I stare at the place where Bri disappeared to and look worriedly at Mari. "Do you think?" I ask and she nods solemnly, affirming my thoughts. "You idiot!" Sadie shouts at Chloe. "Do you have any idea what you've done?! I'm going after her, and you can rot in hell for the things you've said and done!" She shouts and races off. I look at Chloe with a sad look and me and Mari join her. "Oh my god..." Sadie murmurs as she looks at a figure in the air. "Bri..." the figure turns around with wide red eyes and a greedy smile. "Sadie! Mari! Adrian! My friends! Join me won't you?" She grins and zoomed off toward the class. "We have to help her!" Mari says with a teary look. I nod, "Plagg, Claws out!" "Tikki, Spots on!" "Winne, Moon's out!"  We chase after our akumatized friend and watch in horror as Badger sticks Chloe to the ground with her honey stick and holds it near her head, preparing to pour deadly acidic venom on her. "Who's that?" A voice that undoubtedly belongs to Jade Turtle asks. "This is my good friend and heroine of Australia, Alpha, and that," I point to Badger, "is Honey Badger, her partner." "Doesn't seem like a hero to me," mumbles Volpina referring to her being accumatized and about to melt someone's head
in acid. "That's not Honey, she's not a killer," Sadie murmurs and jumps to stop Badger from attacking Chloe. "I don't like her either, Badger, but this isn't you! You don't kill!" A flicker of sadness and remorse flickers across Badger's face but she quickly emits a tiny yelp and flinch, then jeers. "I do now. I'm trying to protect you Alpha! How don't you get that?!" She yells and throws honey at the wolf heroine's feet, trapping her to the ground. "Ugh! I could use some help guys!" She grunts. I snap back into reality and run to help her. "It won't budge!" Jade grunts as he sticks his shield under the glob of honey, trying to free Alpha. "Wonderful, my partner and best friend is acumatized and there's nothing I can do about it," she vents. "Only one thing to do. POWER OF THE MOON!" "Um the moon's not out yet," Volpina says. "Don't matter," Alpha grunts and yanks her leg out of the honey casing. "Cool," Volpina breathes. "Guys, I don't understand why you're fighting me! I'm protecting you! She's the one you should be fighting!" Badger juts her stick at Chloe who whimpers, "Hurry up and get rid of her Ladybug!" Badger scowls and aims her stick at her. "Earrings," Alpha, LB, and I breathe at the same time. "How do we get them from her though?" Volpina asks as Jade stares at Badger, mumbling actions and numbers. "V, you need to show Chloe running over there then get her inside somewhere so she's hidden, Chat and Alpha, you need to distract her while I restrain her and LB removes her earrings," he says seriously. Ladybug nods,"LUCKY CHARM!" A honey jar lands in her hand. "What at I supposed to do with this? She obviously already has plenty," "Well while you figure yourself out of that sticky situation, I got some distracting to do," I grin and hop off toward Badger. "Hia!" I shout in her face! "GAH! STAY. OUT. OF. MY. WAY!" She juts her stick at my stomach but I use my own stick to deflect it. "I have Chat like reflections," I tease and she growls. I see Ladybug sneaking up behind Badger with the jar of honey in her hand she quickly chunks it at Badger's feet, freezing her in place. It all happens in slow motion and there's nothing I can do. She grabs the lightning bolt earrings from Badger's ears, but before she could crush them, Badger thwacked her in the stomach with so much force, she went flying back hitting a tree and being knocked unconscious. "Wh-what," My eyes slowly fill with sparkling tears as I stare at the girl I love, and one of my best friends. "did you do?" The earrings hit a rock and shatter. Badger transforms back into Bri and her eyes immediately find Ladybug. "No," she murmurs. "No, no, no, nononono!" She crawls over to her with a panicked look and stares at me with massive tears, "Did-did I?" I nod solemnly. She starts to breathe heavily. "HELP ME!" She cries. I know she could lift LB but at the moment, I'm surprised I can walk. I pick her up bridal style and carry her quickly to the Shed with Bri and Alpha by my side. We arrive and I gently lay her on the couch and cover her with a blanket. After a few minutes of all of us sobbing, Mari groans, "Ugh, where am I?" "Oh my god! Mari!" I shout and hug her close. "M-Mari?!" Bri cry-laughs. "Are you ok?!" Sadie bawls. "Y-yea I guess, who are you? Who-who am I?!" She gasps. I back away from her slowly. "No," "This can't be happening. I-I thought I could avoid it!" Bri panics. "You knew?! You knew this was going to happen?!" I don't know why I'm mad. Nor why I'm yelling. Just that I am mad and I am yelling. "I-I," Bri stammers with fresh tears. "Mari can't remember who she or any one else is and it's your fault and all you can say is I?!" I shout at my friend. She crumples to the floor and starts sobbing uncontrollably, her whole body shaking and all anyone can do is look at the two girls.
