Baker Street

"I must say I am impressed, as well as disappointed, you did not consider the possibility of my appearing at the famous 221½ Baker Street." Ratigan scoffed as he entered his nemesis's home, looking around the room. "What I did not expect is our young friends decided to take off their 'hero costumes' for a moment to relax. And I'm disappointed they don't trust you enough to tell you who they really are."

This had to be a nightmare. Alex never imagined the day would come when she would see Padraic Ratigan at 221½ Baker Street looking for his enemy, Basil of Baker Street.

«De por si esa rata de alcantarilla es peligrosa, ahora con los poderes otorgados por Papillombre es peor.» (In case that sewer rat is dangerous, now with the powers granted by Papillombre it is worse.) Alex thought worriedly.

Severus was finally able to shake Fidget off of him, throwing him at the villain's feet and the black amber running towards his friends.

"Well, since the youngsters are back to normal," Ratigan held out a hand toward them, palm up, "give me your jewelry and all is well."

"Your arrogance is getting bigger and bigger, Ratigan, and honestly, I didn't think it would be possible." Basil said, stepping in front of the teenagers to protect them. "Do you really think the youngsters will give you their Miraculouses?"

"Actually, yes. If they don't want things to get worse."

"As if that were possible," Severus muttered sarcastically.

To his bad luck, Ratigan was able to hear him and his evil grin widened.

"I thought you wouldn't be curious."

The professor snapped his fingers and suddenly a black-purple aura covered Alex and Severus immobilizing them, another snap of Ratigan's fingers made the youngsters levitate towards him and the bat.

"Ladybug! Chat Noir!" Basil shouted running towards them.

Fidget blocked the detective's way, threatening him with his peg leg, showing him the barrel of his gun.

"This was none of your business from the beginning, Basil." Ratigan said, ushering the teens past him and the detective and out of the house. "So, find another case and then you and I will get back to our business."

The professor left the house laughing evilly. Fidget followed his boss while keeping his gun pointed at the detective. As soon as the bat was outside, Ratigan used his power to close the door from the outside, locking in his enemy and his friends. Basil ran to the door and tried to open it, to his bad luck he discovered they were trapped in his own house.

"Confound it!" the detective yelled, banging on the door.

"There must be a way we can get out of here!" Dawson said, laying Mrs. Judson down in a blue three-seater.

"Yes. We!"

The three mice looked at the door next to the blue couch and saw Tikki and Plagg appear.

Outside of 221½, Alex and Severus tried to escape from Ratigan, but the professor's power was strong, especially now the two were not transformed.

"How come I didn't think of calmly waiting for you to go back to being weak teenagers to take away your Miraculouses?" the professor asked rhetorically.

"That proves you're not as smart as you think," Alex said defiantly. "There is no doubt Basil is much smarter than you."

The sound of a slap followed by a glass object falling to the ground and breaking broke the silence of Baker Street.

"LADYBUG!" Severus yelled in concern as Ratigan slapped Ladybug so hard she knocked her glasses off. "You wretched coward!"

The professor ignored the boy, his attention completely on the girl.

"I'M TEN TIMES BETTER THAN THAT SECOND-RATE DETECTIVE!" Ratigan shouted angrily. Carelessly, and ignoring Alex's groan of pain, he grabbed her chin hard, forcing her to look him in the eyes. "Don't even think your 'hero' will come to save you, girl. As soon as I give your earrings and the ring to Papillombre, I will make a deal with him so he allows me to wear those jewels and thus become king AND ANNIHILLATE BASIL FOREVER!"

"Good luck with that," the brunette replied defiantly.

Ratigan glared at the girl. The brat was in no position to act so brazenly and yet she still had the guts to continue challenging him. He released the young woman, scratching her face hard causing it to bleed, brought both hands to the brunette's ears and carelessly removed her earrings.

The advantage of the earrings being magical was they could be removed without harming the bearer, what did hurt her was Ratigan's claws. The professor went to the black amber, took the boy's right wrist forcefully, causing him to open his hand and thus pull the ring off him. He took out a small black leather bag from the inside pocket of his vest and put Ladybug and Black Cat's Miraculouses before the teenagers' look of horror and disbelief.

No, no, no, NO! It was impossible! After so much time and precautions, someone managed to do what no one had done before: Steal their Miraculous.

"At last! AT LAST!" Papillombre shouted victoriously in his lair and in the mind of his akumatized victim. "Now, bring me their Miraculouses!"

"You know that for a fact," Ratigan replied." But..."

"But what?"

"Don't you want to know who the nosy brats have been a pain in the ass all this time are?"

"Normally it would not be, but since Ladybug is now the guardian of the Miracle Box, I have to know who she is to go to her house and take them."

"Do you want to know with them alive... or dead?"

Papillombre was silent for a few seconds before replying.

"Dead. That way they won't be able to keep interfering."

"Excellent choice." Ratigan broke the communication and turned to his sentimonster. "Fidget."

"To the order, professor!"

"Eliminate these nosy youngsters."

"It will be a pleasure."

Fidget aimed at Ladybug first. The brunette could only watch in horror what was happening before her and Chat Noir because of Ratigan's power. He managed to take away their Miraculous and not by any Papillombre villain, but a Disney villain from an animated movie! What hurt her most it was her favorite movie.

Hearing the bat gun charging, Alex (defeated) closed her eyes waiting for her end.

A shot and screams were heard followed by several happenings at once. The shot was fired, but it never hit the brunette. Alex fearfully opened her eyes and gasped in surprise at what was happening; Fidget was shot preventing him from executing the girl and drawing the attention of the professor who turned to the source of the attack in a rage, finding the detective, free from his house, pointing a revolver at both villains.

"Basil!" exclaimed Alex and Severus happily.

"Impossible!" the professor bellowed. "How did you manage to get out?!"

"I had a couple of 'magical' assists in the guise of a ladybug and a black cat before they abruptly disappeared." the detective answered, still pointing the gun at his enemy.

Tikki and Plagg! Alex remembered Basil had sent them to hide in his bedroom in the meantime, that served as an advantage for him to get out and save them.

"What do you mean 'magical help'?!" Ratigan roared.

"The kwamis!" Papillombre answered. "The source of power of the Miraculous are magical creatures called kwamis. They must have stayed hidden all this time and that's why the detective managed to get out!"

"But that won't do you much good!" Ratigan lunged at Alex, placed her in front of him, and held her neck tightly, his claws digging into her despite the gloves he wore. The professor smiled to see the detective get scared and the hand held the revolver was trembling. "Right now, she is not Ladybug, but an ordinary little girl. So, if you don't want me to cut her throat, put your gun down right now!"

"Damned!" The intellectual rivals turned to Severus, who was still caught up in the professor's evil energy. "Hiding behind someone, and most dishonorably, hiding behind a woman knowing your opponent is a true gentleman! YOU REALLY ARE JUST A DISGUSTING SEWER RAT!"

It was all, that brat had a huge mouth and it was about time someone put him in his place.

"Bad choice of words, kid," Ratigan said.

The rat tightened grip on his victim's neck. Severus yelled demanding the professor to release her; Unfortunately, the professor pressed harder in the face of the teenager's demands and now pleas. Taking advantage of this distraction, Basil found a point to shoot without hurting Alex, took aim and fired at Ratigan's right flank. The villain howled in pain as he released the girl and the boy was finally free from the evil power. Both teenagers pounced on Ratigan in search of their Miraculouses and the akumatized object.

Basil ran to help the youngsters, but Fidget (recovered from the shot thanks to the fact he was actually a sentimonster) attacked him and moved away from the fight between his boss and the young rivals.

The fight between the villain and the heroes inadvertently led them to the street and they also did not realize a cab was moving down the street towards them.

"Ladybug! Chat Noir! Look out!" Basil warned.

The three contestants turned. The three barely had time to get away from the horse's hooves; That little distraction was enough for Alex to finally manage to take the leather bag away from Ratigan, but he noticed and grabbed her by the wrist.

"Give me that back!" demanded the rat

"Before dead!" The Latina answered, struggling to free herself.

"With pleasure!"

The horse passed giving way to the cab. Ratigan put the young woman where the wheel would pass, as soon as she was crushed to death, he could eliminate the boy and the detective once and for all. However, something, or more on someone (Fidget), fell on him causing him to pull more on the bag and it broke, while Alex managed to get out of the way of the wheel in time. Those seconds of darkness were enough to pick up the Miraculouses, but three unknown hands appeared and picked them up before her and one of them hugged her around the waist and took her out of the street, taking her to the porch of 221B.

"Alex! Are you alright?"

The young woman looked up and was glad to see it was Basil.

"Yes, thanks to you. But someone picked up the Miraculouses before me!"

"That was Dawson, Olivia and me." The detective held out his closed hand to the girl to give her the magic jewel. "I'm sorry, but I only managed to pick up one of your...earrings?"

Basil opened his hand and inside it there was no earring, it was the ring of the black cat! Across the street, Severus was in the company of Dawson and Olivia and they both claimed to have picked up his ring; but to the bewilderment both mice claimed to pick up a jewel, the doctor and the girl opened their hands and discovered each had picked up an earring. They accidentally swapped the Miraculouses!

"Where are you cowardly brats?" Ratigan called, maddened with fury. "I'm not done with you or the crime buster!"

Alex looked away from the professor and returned her attention to the ring on Basil's hand. She only used her partner's Miraculous once and thought she would never use it again.

"Well, then," said the young woman.

She took the ring from the detective's hand, put it on, the jewel released a green light and Plagg emerged from it. The kwami of destruction was surprised to see it was not his bearer.

"What happened? Why do you have my Miraculous? Plagg asked.

"Miraculous mix-up, again," Alex replied.

"Again? Had it already happened?" Basil asked.

"Only once, but doesn't mean we can't take on Ratigan."

"Looks like Lady Noire and Mister Bug are back in action," Plagg said.

"Exact. Plague, Claws Out!

This time a green light covered Alex, as soon as it disappeared Basil felt a tightness in his chest when he saw the new appearance of the brunette using the Miraculous of the Cat in Black: She wore a black dress with green shoulders and trim, long gloves black with claws and green details, stockings and low-heeled shoes also black. She wore a gold bell with a green ribbon as a necklace and a wide-brimmed black hat with green edges. A black mask covered half of her face and her brown eyes turned green. Her hair turned black and was tied in a braid reached her waist, the end being tied with a green ribbon.

Basil was stunned, with appearance she looked like... her, The Woman. Impossible, why? Why of all the looks to draw inspiration from (like him) did it have to be hers?

"I know, even for me it's strange, although it's the second time I've used the Black Cat Miraculous."

The detective turned to the heroine, the now feline-rodent believed his astonishment was because right now she was not Ladybug, but...

"With this Miraculous, call me Lady Noire." said the young woman, winking at the detective. Then she turned back to the street. "Please, stay here." and without further ado, the young woman went out to fight.

"Sorry, we didn't think we'd pick up the wrong Miraculous!" Olivia apologized crying, handing the earring to Severus.

"Don't worry, nothing's wrong," the black amber said, trying to reassure the little girl. "You did it to help us and that's the important thing. The good thing about this is you both picked up the earrings and you didn't end up with one having an earring and the other the ring."

"You're right about that," Dawson admitted.

Suddenly a fight was heard. The mice looked down the street and saw a young girl dressed in black fighting Ratigan and Fidget using a silver staff.

"Lady Noir!" Severus exclaimed excitedly.

"Who?" asked the doctor and the girl

"It's Ladybug, but since she's now using the Black Cat Miraculous, she uses the name Lady Noire."

"Then you will use the Ladybug's Miraculous?" Olivia asked excitedly and curiously.

"Exact."

"But, young man, you don't have pierced ears. How can you wear those jewels?" Dawson asked.

"That is the advantage of being magical, anyone can use them."

Trusting the boy's word, the doctor handed the other earring to Severus. The black amber quickly put them on, the jewel released a pink light and from it Tikki emerged. The kwami of creation was surprised to see it was not her carrier.

"Oh no! The Miraculouses were exchanged again!" Tikki yelled.

"The good thing is we already know what to do," Severus reassured her.

"That's true."

"Okay, Tikki, Spots On!"

This time a pink light covered Severus, as soon as it disappeared Dawson and Olivia let out a gasp when they saw the new appearance of the black amber wearing the Miraculous of Ladybug: He wore an Inverness cloak, deerstalker and red shoes with black flecks. Black pants and gloves and the sleeves of the Inverness cloak protruded the sleeves of a white shirt. Despite using the fencer, you could see the boy's black hair was pulled back in a low ponytail with half of it red as well as the bangs. A red mask with black flecks covered half of his face.

"Incredible!" Olivia exclaimed excitedly.

"Amazing!" Dawson exclaimed impressed.

"Using Ladybug's Miraculous, what's your name?!"

"Mister Bug," answered the coccinellid-rodent, "Now stay here," and without further ado, young man went out to fight.

She had to admit, as cool as it was to use another Miraculous, this was the worst time not to have hers. If having her own Miraculous made it difficult for her to fight Ratigan, using another one was much more difficult.

«Lo peor de todo es que estoy usando un vestido. ¡Por el amor de...! ¿Un vestido para pelear? ¡Esto es realmente incómodo!» (Worst of all is I'm wearing a dress. For the love of...! A dress to fight? This is really awkward!)

To make matters worse, Ratigan noticed the girl's discomfort in fighting and used that advantage. Although he had to admit this young woman looked better with that than with those masculine detective outfits; even her movements were more graceful and delicate than they were hypnotizing him... What the hell was he thinking! Surely it was some trick of the brat to distract him and defeat him, but he wouldn't go down that easily. He would get those jewels back, eliminate them and his nemesis once and for all.

"Your beautiful and delicate appearance should be proof enough a lady like you shouldn't fight," the professor commented sarcastically.

"Clothes have nothing to do with this," Lady Noire said. "But it sounds to me like you're saying that more than anything because I'm kicking your butt and you're afraid I'm going to beat you."

"New look, but you're still the same rude and little girl.

Ratigan went towards Lady Noire, but something caught his ankle and made him fall.

"Appearance does not define who one is as a person. my lady is a lady."

The professor looked over his shoulder meeting the brat now dressed as a detective and using the Ladybug Miraculous. Mister Bug retrieved the yoyo and ran to his partner's side.

"Wow, Mister Bug, the detective outfit suits you very well."

"Thank you, my beautiful Lady Noire. You look great too."

"Yes, yes, you are both very cute." The Miraculous bearers turned their attention to the rat. "Although, now that I see you well, with your new outfits you remind me of two people I know, but I don't remember well. Anyway, that will be for later. Right now, if I were you, I could pay more attention to my surroundings."

Before the youngsters could say anything, their response came in the form of gunshots from behind. The first passed between them by way of warning, the second grazed Mister Bug's arm thankfully as a superficial scratch, and the third near Lady Noire's feet. As soon as the attack ceased, the Miraculous bearers saw it was none other than Fidget. The bat was going to fire again, but again he took another one this time on his peg leg causing his attack to deflect towards his boss hitting him in the left shoulder.

Lady Noire and Mister Bug looked towards the source of the shot and saw Basil approaching them with revolver in hand.

"Basil!" Lady Noire exclaimed. "I told you to...!"

"I'm not going to sit idly by!" the detective threatened. "You guys take care of Papillombre, I take care of Ratigan!"

"Right now, you can't do much because he has powers! Come back now before...!"

"WATCH OUT!" Mister Bug warned.

The hero stood before his friend and the mouse, spinning the yoyo and quickly protecting them from Ratigan's attack, to be endowed with the powers of Papillombre's akuma, apparently the professor also brought his own revolver.

"I repeat, Lady Noire reminds me of someone, but ironically the name doesn't come to mind," Ratigan said with a sneer. "I'm glad to see you want to fight me, Basil. You don't know how I'm going to enjoy taking you out myself."

"That remains to be seen," Basil said.

"I think so."

The professor loaded the revolver and fired again. Mister Bug protected Lady Noire and the detective with the yoyo.

"Any ideas?" asked the coccinellid-rodent.

"You have the power of creation! You should think of something!" Basil demanded.

"Yes, but one thing is to have the power and another is to have the brain," commented the feline-rodent

"Thank you for the support, Lady Noire."

"It's a pleasure, Bugaboo."

Basil laughed at that, the hero only said it once, but the heroine took the opportunity to return it to her partner. However, the laughter stopped when a shot hit the young woman in the right side.

"Lady Noire!"

The detective caught the girl in time before she fell, heard a laugh behind her and saw Fidget laughing, he completely forgot about the bat. With his free hand he loaded his revolver and shot the sentimonster. Fidget saw it coming in time and stepped aside as he charged at the three mice again. With difficulty, due to the pain, Lady Noire extended her staff and twirled it to protect herself.

"Will you listen to me and go to safety?" The young woman asked, noticing a touch of sarcasm in her voice.

"No! And less now you're hurt!" The detective replied.

"Don't worry. When Mister Bug casts the Lucky Charm and at the end of the fight he repairs everything, it will also heal me. The important thing now is you are safe, we will both be fine."

To prove it to Basil, Lady Noire got up and charged at Fidget still twirling her staff to shield herself from the gunfire. As soon as she was in front of her opponent, she in a quick move hit the bat squarely on the head knocking it out instantly. The young woman shrugged her staff and looked at the mouse with a gesture clearly said "See?" However, that changed when the sounds of gunshots ceased and as Mister Bug lowered his yoyo the ears of the three mice paled as Ratigan was gone. Lady Noire returned to the men and between she and her partner they covered Basil and raised their guard.

"For once in your life listen to someone and get out of here!" ordered the feline-rodent

"I told you I won't!" replied the mouse. "Even with the support of Mister Bug, I won't leave you alone!"

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Lady Noire lowered her staff and glared at the detective. "Why do you suddenly want to protect me? You know I can defend myself!"

Basil held her tightly by the arms and shook her a little as she answered:

"WHY DO YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO BE SO RECKLESS? FOR ONCE IN YOUR LIFE WORRY ABOUT YOUR SAFETY, RELDA!"

The three mice were stunned, especially Basil. What had he done? Did he just call Lady Noire as The Woman?

In Mister Bug's head there was only one question running through his mind: Who was Relda?

As for Lady Noire, she immediately understood, remembering their fight in the toy store. So, she was right there was a mousy version of Irene Adler and her name was Relda. Still, why did Basil call her that name?

An evil laugh broke the three mice out of their trance, and they looked around for the source.

"I knew those two reminded me of two people!" Ratigan said from somewhere hidden in the shadows. "How could I forget her? Mister Bug looks like you and Lady Noire looks like your 'dearest' Mademoiselle Relda. It's been a long time since I've heard that name and I bet it still hurts, huh Basil?" The professor let out a laugh full of derision.

The detective released Lady Noire and looked down in pain. It was the last straw, his nemesis laughed at his pain, one he hadn't felt for years and thought he had forgotten until he met this young girl who brought back that memory as if it had never left his mind... or his heart.

The heroine, seeing the mouse's expression, knew something was wrong. To begin with, who exactly was Mademoiselle Relda? She was never mentioned in the film so it made it clear her appearance was to be in one or more of the books in the Eve Titus saga. Second, what happened to her? It was clear something bad had to happen to her for Basil to react that way and Ratigan to taunt him; and that must be why the detective was suddenly overprotective of her. Unconsciously, even without knowing the woman, she brought back a painful memory of Basil's life.

Taking advantage of that moment of peace, Mister Bug took his yoyo and invoked its power.

"Lucky Charm!" He activated his power and, in his hand, it fell... "A flashlight? Oh, come on! I know it's night and it's dark but I don't think this will work!"

"You know it doesn't work like that," the heroine reminded herself. "The Lucky Charm doesn't give you the item to defeat the villain just like that, you have to figure out how to use it to win the battle. Use your head!"

"Okay, okay. I get it."

Mister Bug looked around looking for how to use the item. To his bad luck, he had no idea what to do. Lady Noire patted her forehead, there was no way the boy didn't know how to use the Lucky Charm yet.

"Apparently today is my lucky day!" Ratigan said, still in the shadows. "What do you plan to do? You may have knocked out Fidger, but I'm still standing and you can't beat something you can't see!" and burst out laughing.

Those last words gave Lady Noire an idea. She went to Mister Bug and whispered in his ear.

"Remember the Lucky Charm also makes an object appear according to the person's behavior. You are simple and direct, therefore..."

"My strategy must be simple and direct!" The hero whispered excitedly.

The heroine nodded. With that, the coccinellid-rodent knew what to do. Basil and the heroes looked around, back-to-back, waiting for an attack from Ratigan. The silence was heavy with tension, so much so it could be cut with a knife...or a gunshot. They heard the muzzle of a revolver, and it nearly hit Basil if Lady Noire hadn't shielded him in time with her staff by twirling it. Mister Bug heard movement behind them, he immediately pointed towards the place, from an alley on the other side of the street, revealing Ratigan and blinding him momentarily.

The hero used his free hand to capture the professor with his yoyo.

"Now, the akumatized object! It's a pocket watch!" Mister Bug exclaimed, holding Ratigan tightly.

"What?" Lady Noir exclaimed.

"Understood!" Basil replied.

"Wait!"

The detective did not listen to the heroine. Mister Bug held the professor with all his strength, that way the mouse was able to approach his nemesis and extract the golden pocket watch from one of the internal pockets of his vest. Basil walked away from Ratigan, unaware of the professor's smile.

"Here it is. Now what?" asked the detective showing them the watch.

"You have to break it, so the akuma and amok will come out." Mister Bug replied.

"Amok?"

"An electric blue feather that... gave Fidget powers. What other explanation would there be he is now stronger?"

Not very convinced by the young man's response, the detective threw the pocket watch to the ground and stepped on it, breaking it instantly. He moved his foot away, but neither the black butterfly nor the electric blue feather came out. The men looked worriedly at the smashed watch while the heroine hit her forehead. Ratigan let out a laugh, drawing the attention of his enemies.

"How easy it was to deceive you, child!" the professor scoffed

"What?!" the men exclaimed

"It's impossible!" Mister Bug exclaimed. "I myself saw how his power to go back in time was released!"

"A little trickery, naive brat." As he spoke, the rat loosened the string on the yoyo; Papillombre warned him Miraculous bearers' weapons were indestructible. "Good luck finding the item..."

"I know what it is." Lady Noire said.

Mister Bug, Basil and, above all, Ratigan looked at the young woman in disbelief. The hero and the detective were curious as to how she knew, as was the professor, but the professor was annoyed, how the hell would that little girl know that? Then he remembered her actions, more than once he got the impression she knew the story, therefore, that way she would know his bell had the akuma and amok.

"Damn little girl. I turned out to be smarter than I thought, for a woman." Ratigan thought angrily.

"You better keep your akuma and amok well-guarded." Papillombre threatened.

"For they will have to go over my corpse." replied the professor.

With that statement, Ratigan sprang into action. He managed to free himself from the yoyo, taking that end with force, pulling Mister Bug with him and catching him by the neck.

"Mister Bug!" Lady Noire and Basil yelled.

"Ha, what a hero turns out to be a brat!" Ratigan said, tightening his grip. "It shows the one who does everything is the girl and you are only the second who cannot do anything by himself. Look at you now! You cannot against me!"

"Do... you... want... to... bet?" asked the coccinellid-rodent due to the lack of air.

"Do not make me laugh! A lost bet!"

"Think... twice..."

One of his hands held Ratigan's wrist, the other took it to his right side taking the flashlight, pointed it at the professor's face and turned it on, blinding him abruptly. The rat dropped his prey and covered his face with both hands. Mister Bug landed on his feet and pounced on the villain in search of the akuma. Lady Noire and Basil running to help their friend; but Ratigan grabbed the hero by the collar of his clothes and threw them at the heroine and the detective knocking down their enemies. With his power, Ratigan went for Fidget and they both disappeared in a wisp of black, purple, and electric blue smoke, just like in the toy store.

"Damn it! He escaped again!" Mr. Bug bellowed.

"We could take that as a good thing." Lady Noire said, crossing her arms.

"How?"

"It is a reflection of the fear the professor is developing towards us. He knows we are a threat to him and he anticipates 'retiring' to being definitively defeated."

"Good point, My Lady."

"Other than that, are you okay, Bugaboo?"

"Yes, thanks. By the way, I only called you that once since we got here."

"I know, but it's not like we get to change Miraculous all the time, either." Mister Bug didn't say anything anymore, so he added. "Let's go get Dawson and Olivia." Then the heroine turned to the detective. "Basil, are you alright?"

The Miraculous bearers were shocked to discover the detective mouse was no longer next to them. The youngsters looked around worriedly for him, heard a whistle, and turned to 221B. It was Dawson.

"The three of us are here, safe and sound," the doctor explained.

"What a relief," the young woman sighed calmly. She spoke to her partner. "You better fix the street damage before we get in the house."

"What damages? You didn't even use Cataclysm."

"And the sidewalk raised by the shocks against the pavement? And the marks caused by the shots?"

The young man looked at the street and his ears turned red, like his suit, seeing the chaos caused by the fight.

"Okay, I got it." The coccinellid-rodent retrieved the flashlight he dropped. "Miraculous Mister Bug!" he exclaimed, tossing the flashlight into the air.

It's bright and thousands of ladybugs have appeared, repairing Baker Street. As soon as everything was back to normal, Mister Bug and Lady Noire entered 221½ being greeted by a big hug from little Olivia.

"Are you fine?" asked the girl, separating herself from the teenagers.

"We are ok." The young woman answered with a smile. "You guys?"

"We're fine too, thanks to you," Dawson replied.

"Didn't you have problems using each other's Miraculous?" Olivia asked concerned.

"Only a little," the young man admitted. "It's the second time it's happened to us, but it still felt like the first time."

"Which reminds me... Claws In!" The green light of detransformation ran through the girl's body and in front of her appeared Plagg standing.

"Nya... what a day. Or should I say night," Plagg commented, stretching and yawning.

"Always so delicate." the hero scolded. Spots Off!" The pink light of detransformation ran through the boy's body and Tikki appeared standing in front of him.

Alex and Severus handed the Miraculouses back to each other. After putting on the earrings, the Latina realized Basil was not in the room, which began to scare her. Where could the detective be?

"I'm glad to see you're back to normal."

Those present looked towards the door of the enclosure, finding Basil standing there. The brunette sighed in relief, for a moment she thought the professor had taken the detective or something worse. She turned her attention to the mouse and was surprised to find he was staring at her longingly. The girl immediately understood this had to do with Mademoiselle Relda. Her suspicion was confirmed when Basil turned to go further into the house and glanced over his shoulder at the young woman.

"Ladybug, I need to talk to you. In private." he emphasized privately, staring at Tikki.

The kwami of creation looked at her bearer with concern, but Alex reassured her it was nothing serious, they would just talk. Calmer, Tikki let the girl follow the detective. Severus watched them go with a frown, though it didn't show with the mask the detective gave him, or so he thought because Plagg suddenly smacked him on the head.

"Ouch! Why is that?"

"The jealous one didn't come, but he sent you, right?"

"Shut up."

"Relax, for all the cheeses! The detective said they'd talk in private, but I'm pretty sure he told her about this Relda girl."

"Plagg!" Tikki scolded him, pulling one of his mustaches

"Ouch! Don't do that, Sugarcube!"

"Then don't mess around where they don't call you!"

"I only gave my opinion!"

"Enough both of you!" Severus interrupted, with which the kwamis fell silent. The black amber turned to Dawson. "Where is Mrs. Judson?"

"While you guys were fighting those bad guys, Olivia and I carefully made our way back to the house to find Mrs. Judson scared to death at the door. I told her you three were fine and had everything under control. Then I told her to go to her room, everything would be in order. She didn't look convinced, but at least she listened to me and stayed in her bedroom ever since.

"Luckily, otherwise neither Sugarcube nor I could be out here so calm." Plagg commented. "Anyway, I'll go to the kitchen to get those delicious cheese crumpets.

"You stay here." Tikki said, grabbing her friend's tail and holding him back. "You can't go around sniffing around where they don't call you, wait for the detective to come back and ask him for one."

"But I'm hungry."

"You're always hungry." Tikki and Severus said.

Alex had to admit she was nervous, but that was ridiculous. Basil just wanted to talk to her and most likely it was about that woman, so why did she feel her heart beating so hard? So much so it made her think at any moment her heart would jump out of her chest. They reached the back door on the left and the detective opened it, stepping aside so the girl could go in first. She did and entered Basil's room. At first glance it looked like any other room; bed, nightstand with a small lamp and a book next to it. A wooden wardrobe and a desk in front of the bed. As soon as he got it, he got out and handed it to the Latina. Alex received it and saw it was a small wooden box. Before she could ask a question, Basil spoke first.

"You know I'll tell you about her, The Woman. Well, in that box you will find the answers. Once you finish inspecting it, I'll tell you more about the beautiful opera singer, Mademoiselle Relda."
