<John's POV>
  After we got to know more about this mystery person, who's name was Alexander, we all became very close friends. He was beyond hot. He started singing while we drank. "I may not live to see our glory.". Laff and Herc echoed him. "But will gladly join the fight!" I loved his singing. It was so beautiful. "They'll tell the story of tonight!" He sang like an angel. I heard Laff say something about another round of beer and stood up and raised my glass.

  "Raise a glass to freedom. Something they can never take away." I sang, looking at Alexander. He is so- Not now gay thoughts!!! "No matter what they tell you.." Alexander said, looking at the ground. What is going on inside his mind?

Laff and Herc has fallen asleep leaning on each other, while Alexander and I were left outside looking at the stars. "They're beautiful." Alexander said, as he sat down. I sat down next to him. "You know what else is beautiful?" I said as I scooted closer to him. "You." He said as he kissed me.

Yeah, I WISH that's what happened.

I sat down next to him. "Yeah they are." . We sat in silence for a while, 'til he said, "So, where are you from?". "South Carolina. What about you?" I said, taking in his features. His hair was so sleek and straight, while my hair is as straight as I am. His eyes are what really caught me. They were a deep blue, with hints of violet. "The Caribbean." He said as he smiled sadly. "Woah... really? You're an immigrant! Wow! So is Lafayette!" I blabbed. Good job, John, now he thinks you're an idiot. "Y-Yeah... I'm a bastard orphan looking to start a new life here in America." He said, looking at me. I blushed and looked away. Hopefully he didn't see, it being so dark out.

  "Er... uhh... I-I gotta go... see you tomorrow?" I said, standing up awkwardly. "Sure. Bye Laurens!" He standing up and walking off. I adjusted at my binding.

I think I'm in love.
