Everyone was doing something now. Kagura and Rogue were on a date. Milliana was with Happy, Carla, Wendy and my new kitten at her dorm room. Gray and Sting were somewhere doing something they had to do. Meanwhile Erza, Juvia, Yukino, Natsu and I were out in the town shopping. Now everyone was having fun and by everyone I mean everybody except for Natsu of course.

Natsu: "Ughhhhh Lucyyyyy why did I have to come?"

Natsu whined once again. He hasn't stopped whining for almost half an hour.

Lucy: "No one obligated you or anything, you decided to come all on your own."

Natsu: "Pshh what ever, it's your fault."

He mumbles as he crosses his arms over his chest and rolling his eyes.

Lucy: "My fault!? How is it my fault!?"

Natsu: "Because you wanted to come."

Lucy: "So!? You could've just stayed!"

I roared as I glared at the pink blossom haired dragon slayer. I then hear a small giggle behind, me causing me to turn around. Noticing it was Yukino I tilt my head, slightly confused.

Yukino: "Isn't it obvious Lucy? He wants to watch over you."

Lucy: "When did I get a bodyguard?"

Yukino: "The same exact moment you got a boyfriend."

She explains with a smile as she then goes back to walking, not far behind from Erza. I look over at Natsu and raise my right eyebrow, questionably.

Lucy: "...Natsu?"

Natsu: "Let's just keep walking."

He says as he starts walking, taking a few steps forward me and not making the slightest eye contact with me. I could see a small pink color pop onto his cheeks, making me giggle lowly.

Is he embarrassed by what Yukino said? Wait why would he be embarrassed? I thought to myself. Suddenly I feel something soft and light fall onto my head, snapping me out of my thoughts.

Lucy: "Huh?"

Looking up while I placed my hand over my head I could feel what it was and it seemed to be a hat. I then hear a familiar laughter entering my ears.

Natsu: "Hahaha! Luce you look funny!"

Lucy: "Hm..."

I hummed as I moved my gaze from a laughing Natsu to a weird old hat on a near shelf. Picking it up I set it on his head.

Lucy: "Hah you look like you just got out of a swamp! Haha!"

I laugh while pointing at him.

Natsu: "At least I don't have a fish hat."

Lucy: "I wonder if Happy would've tried to eat my head if he saw me?"

Natsu: "Probably would."

He answers my question with a small smile on his lips. Natsu then takes off the hat I had put on him and takes off mine a few seconds after.

Lucy: "Yeah."

Natsu: "Don't worry, I'd protect you from the vicious man eating Happy."

Natsu jokes as he places his arm over my shoulder, pulling my body closer to his. I blush lightly but keep my cool while rolling my eyes and speaking up.

Lucy: "Ha. Ha. Ha. Very funny."

Natsu: "Hehe."

We continue to walk with his arm still over my shoulder. I try to not pay much attention to it as we look at the different stores.

Erza: "Isn't this adorable!?"

Erza yelled as she shows us all a stuffed animal. Yukino had an unconfident smile while a sweat dropped down her face.

Yukino: "It's a panda with a sword."

Erza: "Exactly! Beautiful and powerful!"

Yukino: "Just like you, huh?"

Yukino giggles as she watches Erza closely cuddle the stuffed animal.

Natsu: "Yeah right."

Natsu says lowly in a sarcastic tone. I manage to hear him and sigh knowing that what he just did was a stupid move.

Erza: "What was that?"

Erza questions as her facial expressions harden, sending out dark cold vibes towards Natsu.

Natsu: "N-Nothing! I just said she was right!"

He says as he softly elbows me so I can help him out. Not really wanting to see Erza beat up Natsu in public, I play along.

Lucy: "Yeah."

Erza: "Hm."

Erza believes me and turns her attention to the stuffed animal in her arms. She pulls out a bag full of jewels and walks towards the counter.

Natsu: "Thanks Lucy."

Lucy: "You really need to stop getting Erza angry."

I say to him as I look to my left, just so I could see his reaction.

Natsu: "Eh? I was just being honest. Honesty is a great value we must all have."

Ha funny for someone like you to say that. I thought to myself while looking at him.

Lucy: "Well next time I won't help you."

Natsu: "Why not?"

He asks me while slighting tilting his head. I smirked as I slowly removed his arm off of my shoulder.

Lucy: "Because I'll be honest and tell her the truth. Honesty is a great value we must all have."

I mock, using his own words against him as I took a few steps forwards. I then look at the shelves and observe some snow globes. Suddenly I notice someone's hand place itself next to my head. Before I could turn around to see who it was I feel that person's body near mine.

Once that person spoke up I finally knew who it was. His warm breathe tickling my neck as his lips slighting brushed against my ear.

Natsu: "I guess we both lack honesty, huh? Just proves that we have more things in common then you think."

He says to me causing my face to heat up do to how close we were. My hands slightly shake but not in fear. I was now feeling nervous. D-Does he know I'm in love with him..? What did he mean by lack of honest..? Is it because of the plan? These questions ran through my mind but were soon interrupted by someone clear his or her throat.

Erza: "Are you two going to have a make out session or go to the bakery with us?"

Lucy: "W-We're going to-..."

I stutter as I try to reply to her question. My cheeks were obviously red and the position Natsu and I were in wasn't really going to help if I objected to what she thought was going to happen. I was then cut off by Natsu's voice, saving me from more embarrassment.

Natsu: "We're going to the bakery, I'm hungry. Oi Erza keep your perverted fantasies to yourself."

Oh boy...what did I tell him about not getting Erza angry anymore!? I yelled in my thoughts as I tugged on the side of his clothing. He looks over at me and tilts his head.

Natsu: "Hm?"

He hums in a questioning way as I shake my head.

Erza: "PERVERTED FANTASIES!? WHO DO YOU THINK YOU'RE TALKING TO!?"

Erza roars at him and I swear I felt the earth shake a bit. Natsu panics and picks me up bridal style.

Lucy: "What are you doing!?"

Natsu: "Trying to live!"

He responds as he raises his voice and runs out of the store as fast as he could. I quickly wrapped my arms over his neck, not wanting to fall and hold on tightly. As soon as an angry Erza and confused Yukino were out of sight Natsu put me down. Once I was balanced I lift my hand and smack the back of his head.

Natsu: "Oi! What was that for!?"

He yelled in a questioning tone as he rubbed the back of his head.

Lucy: "That was for getting Erza angry."

I state as I then slightly lift my leg and harshly step onto his right foot. Natsu then lifts his leg and grabs onto his hurting foot, giving it a bit of rub.

Natsu: "What was that one for!?!?"

Lucy: "That was for dragging me into this mess and this is for comparing me with you."

I say to him as I flick his forehead before he can even think about dodging. He placed his hand on his forehead and pouted like a little kid while looking at me.

Raising my left eyebrow I observe his actions. Man he can act so childish sometimes. I thought to myself as I rolled my eyes and began to walk away. It difficult to understand his 'personalitys' , 'mood swings', 'bipolarness', 'man period'. Whatever you want to call it but one moment he's all mysterious, then he's cocky and next thing you know he turns into a man child. Well that Natsu Dragneel for you.

Natsu: "Lucy, where ya going?"

Lucy: "To the bakery, I'm hungry too."

I respond to his question as I continued to walk. He soon picked up my pace and began walking by my side. We walked to a nearby bakery we saw not too long ago and entered.

Lucy: "Mm, everything looks so good."

I exclaim with a hint of excitement in my tone as I lick my lips and observe all the baked goods on the shelves.

Natsu: "Aye! I'm gonna eat everything!"

Lucy: "Knowing you, you would."

I state with a small laugh while walking towards the counter. Suddenly Natsu's left arm lifts up, blocking my way. Stopping at my tracks I look over at him with a confused expression on my face.

Natsu: "What's that supposed to mean?"

He asks me as he returns my look. Slightly smiling I shake my head slowly and answer his question with one simple word.

Lucy: "Nothing."

Natsu: "Hmm, go take a seat I'll get the food."

Lucy: "Awe you're actually going to pay? That's so sweet of you."

I say to him, feeling quite happy. I twirl on my heel and right when I was about to step away I hear his voice speak up

Natsu: "Oh yeah that's right! I almost forgot."

Lucy: "Huh?"

Natsu: "Give me some jewels."

Natsu says with his toothy grin while extending his arms towards me and opening his hand ready to receive what he wants, ruining my good mood.

Lucy: "I take it back! You're not sweet!"

I yell at him as I open my purse and grab some jewels. Handing them over to him I throw a sharp glare at his now annoying grin.

Natsu: "Luce."

Natsu says to me while looking down at his hand. Glancing upwards I slightly tilt my head to my right. Man I swear Natsu is the reason why my neck hurts a lot. He confuses me so much.

Lucy: "What?"

Natsu: "This isn't enough."

He says to me in a blunt tone, leaving me shocked. My jaw drops as I stare at him in disbelief. Did he seriously just say that!? I roared in my thoughts.

Lucy: "What do you mean that's not enough!? Are you going to buy everything they have!?"

Natsu: "Didn't you hear me earlier? I told you I was going to eat everything, geesh Luce you really need to learn how to listen to people."

He says to me with an eye roll which only makes me get angrier. Stomping my right foot I speak up and raise my voice once again, forgetting we're in a public area.

Lucy: "And you need to learn how to stop wanting so much when you know you can't have it!"

Natsu: "I really should, huh..?"

Natsu says in a low and depressing tone. He hung his head down and stared at the floor. I don't get it. One moment he's the most carefree person in the world then this.

Lucy: "Natsu..?"

Natsu: "I'm going to get the food."

And with that he walks away to the counter. Sighing, not understanding the situation I walk over to an empty table and take a seat.

- Later that day -

Everyone was now on the roof of the hotel. Erza showed off her new stuffed animal and Yukino told everyone how it war like to go shopping with Erza.

Erza: "It's amazing! It's my second favorite thing now! First is obviously my one and only."

Erza says as she pulls a place of strawberry cake towards her and hugs her stuffed animal with her other hand.

Yukino: "Erza sure is special."

Juvia and Gray were you know, being Juvia and Gray.

Juvia: "Aaah...today is so hot..."

She says as she hugs him from behind.

Gray: "I told you I'm not a walking freezer."

Sting was now asking Rogue how his date went, which made Rogue blush.

Sting: "So how'd it go bro?"

Rogue: "It was nice."

Wendy and Happy laughed with Milliana who dressed up my kitten like Carla.

Carla: "It does not look like my child."

Happy: "It does too!"

I sat on a chair, looking at the city. It was an amazing view yet I couldn't get a smile on my lips. Ever since the bakery Natsu hasn't spoken to me. He's a mute near me. Was I really that mean? I sighed at my thoughts and rested my chin on the palm of my hand.

Sting: "Something wrong?"

Lucy: "Huh? Oh, no. I'm fine."

I say with a reassuring smile as I look upwards at the blonde dragon slayer. He turns around and rests his back on the railing. Folding his arms over his chest he gives me 'the look'. You know what look I'm talking about. The look that says "I know you're lying so just spill it".

Lucy: "I'm just confused..."

Sting: "About?"

Lucy: "Things..."

I say plainly while turning to the sky, not wanting to look at him because I knew I'd end up telling him everything. I mean how couldn't I? We've been writing each other for months. He's knows many things about me and I know many things about him.

Sting: "Listen Lucy if you don't want to talk about it then I won't pressure you but remember that I'll always be here for you, no matter what."

Lucy: "Arigato Sting."

Sting: "No problem."

He says to me with a hint of a chuckle, causing me to turn my gaze towards him. A smile slowly forms on my lips until I notice him rubbing the back of his neck and his expression changing into one I couldn't read.

Sting: "Um Lucy..."

Lucy: "Yes?"

I reply in a low tone as I look at him.

Sting: "Can I ask you something?"

Lucy: "Sure."

Sting: "Are you and Natsu really together?"

That question...it was hard to answer. I already lied to my friends which was difficult...but now Sting..? I didn't know what to say...well I did know what to say but I didn't want to say it. I didn't want to lie to Sting... I fall into deep silence as I lose myself in my thoughts.

Lucy: "..."

Sting: "Lucy?"

I hear Sting call my name, making me snap out of my thoughts. My eyes widen realizing that he's been waiting for an answer while I was lost in Lala land.

Lucy: "Uh yeah! Of course we are! Haha what a silly question!"

Sting: "I see..."

Lucy: "Why are you asking?"

Sting: "No reason, just wondering."

Lucy: "Okay."

Sting soon confessed...he confessed many things... I didn't know he felt that way and I felt pretty bad for some reason. I wasn't sure of what to do from that point on but I tried to puzzle everything together. Soon enough I knew my life was going to change.

Hey guys! Sorry I know this isn't one of my best chapters but I've been juggling so many things I have to do so I tried to make a decent chapter. I hope you guys like it. I'll try to do the next one with much more action, drama and excitement. Until then!
