Happy: "Lucy got us lost."

The flying blue exceed says to Natsu making me sigh. I feel like we've been walking for days. Turning around I look at them, not feeling anger anymore I rest my back on a tree.

Natsu: "Oi Luce."

Lucy: "Yes..?"

I say tiredly as I look up at him. He walks up to me and chuckles.

Lucy: "Huh?"

Natsu: "We've been walking in circles for the past hour."

Lucy: "WHAT??!?!"

Natsu: "Haha."

He laughs at me and my jaw drops. I get up on my feet, swinging my arms in the air and squinting my eyes as I whine/yell at him.

Lucy: "Why did you tell me!?!? My feet are going bleed!"

Natsu: "It was cute how you were leading the way thinking you knew where to go."

He says in a sweet tone, holding in his last laugh and covering it up with a smile. I blush lightly in response and look away. C-Cute...? I thought quietly.

Natsu: "Come on."

Lucy: "...?"

Staying quiet I give him a confused look and he continues to smile at me. He then extends his right hand towards me and I shyly grab it with a hint of blush. He holds my hand tightly making me blush more.

Natsu: "I can find the camp."

Saying in a reassuring time he points at his nose with his left hand. I smile and nod my head slowly.

Lucy: "Okay."

We begin to take a few steps forwards when he then stops at his tracks, causing me to stop to.

Natsu: "Wait."

Lucy: "What's wrong?"

I say as I slightly tilt my head to my right while looking at him.

Natsu: "I almost forgot."

Lucy: "Huh?"

What did you he forget? I thought to myself as I continued looking at the pink headed dragon slayer.

Natsu: "You said your feet are hurting right? Get on."

He says to me as he lets go of my hand and crouched down in front of me. A piggyback ride? I mentally asked myself.

Lucy: "B-But..."

He's so sweet. I thought quietly while blush begins to form on my cheeks once again.

Natsu: "Don't worry I won't talk about your weight."

He says bluntly and I look at him shocked.

Lucy: "Baka! That's not what I was going to say!"

Natsu: "Yeah, Yeah just hop on."

Lucy: "..."

I hop on his back and cling onto him gently as I feel him get up and start walking. I rest my chin on his shoulder near the crook of his neck and stay quiet.

Natsu's P.O.V.

I smile to myself as I carry Lucy, following the scent of the stripping snowflake so we can find camp. Feeling her lay her chin on my shoulder and relaxing makes me smile like an idiot knowing that she feels safe with me.

Lucy heartfilia what are you doing to me? Is the question going through my mind as I walked down the rocky trail.

Happy: "Natsu I'm hungry."

Natsu: "We're almost at the camp we can get food."

Happy: "Awweee but I'm hungry."

Suddenly Lucy makes a weird low laugh as if she were planning something devious and speaks up.

Lucy: "Mmm some smoked salmon with a side salad."

Happy: "Sssshhh Lucy I'm hungryyyy."

She must be trying to get Happy hungrier than before, that's cruel. I thought to myself and let out a small chuckle.

Lucy: "Oh, oh imagine some hot steamy ramen with rice balls."

Happy: "Ssssshhhh."

Mmmm ramen and rice balls... I thought quietly, thinking of how good it would be to have a bowl of ramen right now. I then get snapped out of my thoughts when I'm surprised by a growl coming from my stomach.

Natsu: "Luceeeee you even got me hungry."

Lucy: "Haha! My plan worked!"

Suddenly another growl is heard nearby but this time it doesn't belong to me, it was Lucy's tummy growling because of hunger.

Lucy: "Awe C'mon..."

Natsu: "Genius."

I whisper as I look over at her while walking and she pouts. I smirk to myself and continued carrying her to camp. A familiar scent creeps it's way to my nose causing me to look to my right as I stand still.

That scent...I remember it from somewhere...who is it? I thought as I continued looking in that direction in silence.

Lucy: "Natsu is something wrong?"

I hear Lucy whisper closely to my ear in concern and I shake my head. It's probably nothing. I thought to myself.

Natsu: "Nope."

Lucy: "Okay."

A smile plays on my lips when I feel Lucy nuzzle her way into the crook of my neck. I go back to walking down the rocky trail that will lead us to camp feeling happy that Lucy is with me.

- 15 minutes later -

Natsu: "We're back!"

I yelled as I jumped over a bush once I saw the campfire and everyone else.

Carla: "Shhh Wendy is sleeping."

The white haired female cat with a dress scowls me and I pay no attention to her but then notice Wendy sitting up. She then yawns while stretching her small, fragile arms.

Wendy: "Not anymore...Natsu-san!"

Natsu: "Oi!"

Lucy then jumps off of my back and stands on her own two feet.

Lucy: "Mmm that smells delicious."

She says as she lets her nose lead her to the campfire with Milliana and some cooked fish. Right when I was about to follow because of my hunger someone stops me, placing their hand on my shoulder.

Natsu: "Nani?"

When I turn around I notice it's none other then the stripping snowflake.

Gray: "Where were you to?"

Natsu: "It the woods."

Gray: "Doing what?"

He says in a teasing time while wiggling his eyebrows. Pervert... I thought to myself as I glared at him.

Natsu: "What are you my mom?"

Gray: "I knew it, you guys are definitely a thing."

Natsu: " Sure I guess just like you and Juvia."

Gray: "..."

Natsu: "The only difference is that I have the balls to admit it."

Gray: ".........."

I say with a smirk plastered on my face as I turn around and walk over to the campfire. Sitting down next to Milliana I look at Lucy and Happy who are both eating fish.

Natsu: "Saved any for me?"

Milliana: "Yep! Here you go!"

She says in a cheerful tone and hands me a stick with a cooked fish. I smile widely as I grab it and take a huge bite, realizing I forgot to say thanks I open my mouth with food in it and thank her.

Natsu: "Arigato!"

Milliana: "No problem hehe."

Erza: "Don't speak with food in your mouth, have you no manners?"

I hear Erza say coldly in the background, sending shivers down my spine and making me to close my mouth quickly.

Lucy: "It's Natsu we're talking about, he obviously doesn't."

Erza: "You're right."

They both say and start laughing lowly. I do have manners! I thought to myself and shot back defensively even though Lucy lightened the mood a little.

Natsu: "Hey!"

Erza: "Natsu may I have a word with you?"

Natsu: "Aye."

I say while nodding my head only once and eat up my entire fish in only 3 bites. I wonder what she wants to talk about. I thought as my left eyebrow raises. I then get up and follow her to a nearby tree that's quiet. I'm guessing she doesn't want anyone listening to us.

Erza: "What happened?"

Natsu: "Happy and I were searching but didn't find anything."

Erza: "Why did you come late then?"

Natsu: "I wanted to take a bath."

Erza: "Oh..."

She says in a different tone then before now with a hint of sadness as she looks down. Huh? What's up with Erza? I questioned myself in my thoughts while looking at her.

Erza: "So nothing strange happened?"

Natsu: "Not really."

Erza: "We should head back then."

Erza says as she slightly turns around takes a few steps forward.

Natsu: "Wait now that I think about it there was something weird."

Erza: "Tell me."

Turning around when she hears my response she looks at me seriously and I then speak up about the familiar scent from before.

Natsu: "I was with Lucy and I could smell someone. The scent was familiar but I couldn't put my finger on who it was."

Erza: "Did you follow it??? Did you see who it was??"

She asks while grabbing onto my scarf and pulling me closer, almost shaking me for answers.

Natsu: "No, the scent was close plus Lucy and Happy were tired and hungry."

Erza: "..."

Natsu: "Erza?"

She lets go of my scarf and turns around without saying a word. Ignoring the fact that I said her name she starts walking back to camp.

I scratch the back of my head confused and follow not too far behind. When I get back to camp I look over to where Lucy was and see someone next to her.

Natsu: "Sting..."

I glare at him as I watch him laugh with Lucy. What if he wants her as his mate?? I won't let that happen! She's mine! I roared inside of me at the thought of him being with her and start walking towards them.

Sting: "I was wondering if you'd like to go to the beach with me when we finish this job."

Lucy: "Sounds nice!"

Natsu: "Yeah,it sounds really nice."

I say as I sit in between the two of them so they can be separate. I then scooch to my left a little, moving sting.

Sting: "..."

Natsu: "Just need some space."

Sting scooches a little more for me, he seems annoyed but does it look like I care? I scooch too and keep on making him move, little by little I get him to the edge of the log. Smirking to myself I push him one last time, causing him to slip and land on the floor.

Lucy: "You wanna go too Natsu?"

Natsu: "Aye!"

Lucy: "Everyone should go, we can plan this when we finish. Doesn't it sound great Sting?"

She says in a happy tone accompanied with a wide smile. He gets up dusting off the dirt on his pants and looks at her.

Sting: "Super.."

He says lowly in a sarcastic tone while rolling his eyes. Great I thought as I smirked.
