Ibukis pov

I was sitting in the dinning hall playing some guitar. I hummed some new lyrics to myself as the music filled my ears. It was like I was transported to another world! A world filled with joy and wonder and-

"umm ibuki?" I looked up to see none other than mikan herself!

"I'm sorry for intrupting but I have to talk to you" she looked at me nervously.

"oh yeah sure" I turned to her, giving her my full attention.

She looked away nervously "umm do you remember when you tried to confess your feelings to me"

"oh yeah. That" I looked away, feeling a little embarrassed.

"I just really wanted to apologise" she looked at me with tears in her eyes "I was in such a bad mental state. I was treated like trash by everyone around me but yet you held feelings for me. You were so nice to me and let all I did was openly mock you. How could I have been so cruel" she burst into tears.

"hey it's ok" I pulled her into a hug "that was in the past. Ibuki doesn't like thinking of the past. Let's just forget and move on ok!"

"thank you. Oh thank you!" she hugged me as tears rolled down her cheeks.

I rocked her back and forth in my arms. Finally. Maybe now we can start to actually build a relationship...
