this book is called minus 30 for a reason.

- each client starts off w 30 points.

- those 30 points will reduce slowly or drastically depending on the amount of mistakes i find in your work until you finally run out of your allotted 30 points.

- there are no fixed number of chapters that i read. i simply stop reading when i'm bored or when you've run out of points. that could be in the v first chapter or the next seven chapters. totally depends.

you lose points off of the FF:

- poor blurb/summary. a summary should have a gripping theme, outlined characters, and an obvious conflict. if it doesn't and is instead bland, confusing, full of grammatical errors or doesn't give a hint as to what your story is all about, you will lose points.

- cover. the cover is the first point of contact for the readers. the first hook. if it doesn't inspire the reader to even peruse your blurb, you have failed woefully. points will for sure be lost.

-title. among other things, it should relate to the book. otherwise... you know what happens.

- grammar. i'm BIG on grammar to the point where it gets annoying so you can bet your arm you'll lose points if your grammar is piss poor.

- irritating characters

- inconsistencies

- vocabulary

- cringe dialogue

- writing style

- plot holes

- originality: e.g bad boy/good girl narrative.

*bleeds internally* insufferable. vomit inducing. so painfully cliche. God, i hate this trope so much. if it's executed well, then you might have a chance at keeping points, but i wouldn't risk it!

- repetition. this is actually one of my pet peeves. repetitive/twin sentences are not neat and actually make your writing look like an amateur's. worse, - and this is the biggest crime yet - it makes my eye twitch! if i have to read a particular word over and over again (e.g "I". i've seen this horror slapped in so many first person books) you'll lose MASSIVE points! if you know you fall victim to this demon, fix it before you request from me.

- wow, i'm actually giving you free hints to not losing points. i'm so generous.

- anything else that ticks me off.

- p.s: if i'm feeling generous enough, i will make corrections here and there if a mistake stood out to me or if it was repetitive. but i am not anyone's editor. my tips are there to teach you so you can edit your work yourself. pray against the spirit of laziness!
