I probably didn't know it at the time because to me it was called a CARTOON!

Bakugan, for this who don't know the premise. Basically a bunch of more-than-ordinary playing cards drop from the sky, landing all over Earth. AND NO THIS ISNT YU-GI-OH! 😂😂😂
Anyways, so basically these cards fall across the earth, originally they start off as just regular playing cards but are later discovered that the Bakugan are actually ALIVE! 😱😱😱
PLOT TWIST!
Yeah, so Bakugan are alive and the game become more then just a game..
DUN DUN DDUUUUNNNNN!
And with this new found knowledge the battle for Vestroia begins (the homeland of the Bakugan).

Now I know what those who have no clue what the show is are asking..

"WHAT THE HELL IS A BAKUGAN!!?"

Anyways, something I found quite enjoyable about this show, besides the sick battles! Is the characters. I really enjoyed watching how the different characters interacts. Most of the time it was pure comedy.. good comedy I might add. Got a fair few laughs outa me 😅
And through the anime I found it entertaining to see how these character grow and develop (if the develop that is 😅)
Here is a bit of a short, few word summary about my impressions on the main 6
(Aka the brawlers as they are revered to in the anime)

Huh.. how do these people put up with each other? 😂😂😂

Next thing I wanna mention is the plot. And DAMMMMMM! This anime has a plot that made my head spin. I had absolutely no clue what the hell was going on. Why this person was fighting that person.
But maybe that was because I was like 6 or something 😂😂😂

But after watching it a second time it began to become more clearer and that was probably because I knew the futur events that were to come. Bakugan tends to have its battles outcome mean something that isn't obvious at the time. Which I found to be... 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

GENIUS!!!!

It builds up hype really well... but the hype never actually lasts long 😅
*cough* 3 episode long battle *cough*

And last thing I wanna say about this before repealing how many cookies I'd give this anime, I just wanna slap my younger self for not realising that DAN AND RUNO FULL ON GET INTO A RELATIONSHIP AT THE END!!!!

But seriously.. was I dumb or really just that oblivious as a kid?
I mean look at this!!!

HOW DID MY YOUNGER SELF NOT REALISE THE SHIP THAT IS OCCURRING RN!!!
Disappointing. Tsk tsk tsk *shakes head*

For my first ever anime to have experienced I didn't really have much to compare it to but the concept and idea was unique, the animation was great... most of the time 😅
And the story and characters were interesting and engaging 😁👍

So over all I'd give this anime:

With the comment that you should watch it if you don't mind long battles and a REALLY long series.
No joke, the first season had 52 episodes!
And there are 4 of them!
... before the anime got cancelled that is 😅

Sooo.... not so satisfying ending I'll warn ya now if you get that far
*cough* rip 2-3 months of my life getting to that point only to get to a ending THAT DOESNT HAVE AN END!
