I don't even know if it's classified as one, but there was an old clock in my house, and its sound reverberates throughout the house every time it rungs.

The clock needs to be turned manually by a key for it to keep moving.

Every hour, it would ring once.

But at 6 and 12 o'clock, it would ring six times and twelve times respectively.

Hearing the sound it produces at night could be scarier than a horror movie sometimes.

But as I was growing old, the clock was rarely turned anymore.

And I found myself wondering 'why did it stop ringing?'

I don't know when, but I started feeling nostalgic about it, and I missed it.

It gives me a calm feeling that I couldn't explain.

And a super worrying feeling when it suddenly rungs at night, when I perfectly aware that no one ever turn the clock again
