△ Personality ;
she's a very strong headed character and she's incredibly stubborn, when she puts her head to something - she does it. she can be blunt to others but she's just being honest, sometimes seen as rude but she tends to speak her mind because in her head it's not insulting or anything. she's very bold and cares little about others' rude opinions. she's also just slightly aggressive, but only things like sometimes hitting people when she gets scared, annoyed, or when she's laughing. although tough and "intimidating" on the outside, she tends to bottle up what she claims are unnecessary emotions, she's at heart one of the most loyal and compassionate friend you can have. she ends up caring more about others than herself and helps more behind the scene rather than outwardly showing the person that she's helping them. she's responsible and respectful but a child at heart - a part of her that only her close friends see - she's slightly immature and her head is full of witty and odd comments to those around her. she tends to have internal monologue a lot. she's competitive, not wanting to lose in anything. she sometimes tends to overthink a lot of things but once she knows it, she knows it and she's going to do it. she's caring to those around her and is the person you can go to when you need a pep talk. she gives of a 'badgirl' type of feel but she's a mature innocent little cub wolf that hates getting in trouble and doesn't swear oddly - although the only profanity she uses out loud is "holy shit" or "what the hell".

△ Background ;
growing up she was put down a lot, but somehow rather than sulking and feeling bad about herself; she somehow used all of those mean words and sucky experiences as a way to pull herself together and love herself. her parents had a lot to do with how she now handles herself and all this confidence that she has radiating off of her. others might call it cockiness but she knows what she's capable of and she's not afraid let people know that she's aware of it. her family struggled financially a bit in busan and her parents had found better opportunities in seoul, and coincidentally this is when jaein's struggling with the constant teasing and being a social outcast. living 10 years of her life in busan she and the rest of her family finally moved over to seoul where she had a better school experience and had gained some more confidence. she did slightly hang out with the wrong crowd as an early teen but she learned from her mistakes and moved on. She finally learned and had gotten a taste of how things can change so quickly for the worse when lies are involved, probably why she doesn't lie herself. at the age of 15 she witnessed her uncle suffer with an illness that he hid from her aunt of years and it was too late when his demons had taken over and she had the guilt of keeping that secret to herself when she had found out accidentally and she had swore not to tell anyone of her uncle's  illness.
