Broken: Lady Alaina [MCD]

Before this starts guys, what this is, is part of the story line in my Role-Play book for Aphmau... This is completely made up because, I wanted to make a conflict between her, Lady Alaina Corona and Sir Garroth Ro'Meave.

I hope you all enjoy this.

Broken: Lady Alaina [MCD]

"Ow," I yelped, falling back, "Hey," I frowned.

The figure was standing there where I had been l. Their clothing looked slightly foreign. I realized it was a man when he said in a gentle accent, "I am so sorry, Miss."

I sighed before picking up my bag and standing, "It's alright. In any case, who are you?"

"My name is," He paused when I moved my hair from my face, "U-Uhm Gabriel. It's Gabriel."

I looked up at him lightly before smiling, extending my hand, "Alaina Corona."

He softly shook my hand before his eyes widened, "I am so sorry Lady Corona. I-I should have been looking where I was going!"

I just giggled, "Hey. Don't sweat it. It was just an accident," I smiled gently to him.

He smiled softly, his cheeks pink as he rubbed the back of his neck, "So, uh. It's very nice to meet you," All I could do was smile as I replied, "It's very nice to meet you too."

The man smiled. I thought for a moment, "You don't look like a Gabriel. Why is that?"

He chuckled softly, nervously, his hands were behind his back, him not making eye contact the whole time.

"Sir, you can trust me, don't worry," I said gently, walking up to him. My height was abnormal for my age, 16, me being a short person. He looked down at me. I started to notice he towered above me.

"If I tell you, you cannot tell anyone who I really am," He said.

"So, you lied to me," I said as my arms crossed, faking seriousness.

His body tensed. He bit his lip nervously before I giggled, "Calm down. It's fine."

He smiled before looking at his hands, "My real me is Garroth-"

"Ro'Meave," I cut him off to say it, "You look like your father, Lord Garte."

He smiled softly, "Yeah. I don't try to."

I pointed slightly at his hands, "Gloves came from the guard station in O'Khasis while your other articles of clothing are the new ones from here."

"H-How did you know...?"

I smiled up at him, "My mom's brother trades clothing across the region. I've looked at all the materials. And, each have a symbol from the city-state they were made."

He chuckled, "You are very smart... It's hard to find women like that now."

I giggled, "oh?"

He nodded, "Yeah. That's what I dislike the most."

I nodded, "Yeah. That's why my dad taught me himself. He wants me to be able to take over for him when I'm older."

He looked at me, "And, you are comfortable with that responsibility?"

"Well, Yeah. I do. I understand what it is I am doing and, he isn't forcing me into anything," I said, slightly frowning before saying, "You ran from it..."

He looked softly at me, "I was forced everything. You can't leave to like anything, or love someone you've never met."

I looked at him, "Learn to love? Why do you say that," I was annoyed slightly by his statement.

"I was being forced into an arranged marriage for a peace treaty," He said.

"So you just ran away," I said, looking up at him.

"Uh," He looked at me. I was slightly upset, "And you didn't try to resolve it."

"I couldn't! My father doesn't care. He just needs me to do what he says!"

"Yet you are the oldest and you decided to not try to help your cause by talking to him," I said.

"Hey, I'm not having a good life like you," He said, actually angered.

We both were fighting, starting to talk about nonsense before I froze at someone saying, "Alaina. Mr. Ro'Meave."

I turned around to see my father, "Oops."

"Lord Matthew," Garroth respectively bowed his head  to my father.

He looked at us, "Why are you two fighting? One, it isn't lady-like Alaina, and two, you both are setting bad examples."

We looked at each other before stopping, what were we fighting about," I asked. Garroth looked at me, "I have no clue..."

Father chuckled, "Alaina," He walked up, "I am very glad you did meet him before tonight."

"Uh," I laughed in confusion, "What do you mean?"

"Mr. Ro'Meave is our first while he stays here in Corona," My father said.  I felt like a bomb was dropped on me.

Garroth was standing quiet, the face I am so dead to her was what it read. I smiled lightly, which made Garroth say in a joking matter, "Why are you staring at my face? It isnt as beautiful as yours," I instantly looked away, head rising up my cheeks.

My father chuckled at my reaction, "Come on you two. Let's go."

We both moffrd. As we started walking, I said, "I just think that youte the cutest of your family..

It was his turn to blush as we continued walking.

Last Loans was in the kitchen while Christine, my half sister, was playing in the dining room with her game so hot her for her 12th birthday.

"Loans? Where are you at," Dad asked aloud as he walking inside after us. Lady Liana heard us and ran in, surprised to see Garroth, "I was in the kitchen. I didn't know our guest was coming today," She said.

Dad chuckled, "He came this morning before dawn. Sir Theodore told me of his presence."

Lady Liana nodded gently, "I see," She turned to me, "Miss Alaina, can you be able to help me get a room ready for our guest?"

I nodded lightly, "Yes, Lady Liana," I said as we both disappeared into the other room.

The next few weeks passed fairly quickly. The biggest surprise to me was how close Garroth and I grew. By the end of the third week, I had finally hit my own growth and... ended up at his shoulder height.

He looked at me as we were walking down to the market, "You know what is funny," He asked me.

"What," I answered, looking at him, my hands in my pockets.

"This is where we ran into each other but you were a LOT shorter," He said with a large grin.

I rolled my eyes lightly with a soft laugh, "Oh yeah."

We both stopped before laughing, "My gosh. We were just fighting over nothing."

He laughed lightly as we continued to walk again, "It's been a really good few weeks... mostly because of you."

I giggled softly, "I'm not that much of an influence," I softly said, lightly holding my bag.

He chuckled softly before stopping me, "Why do you say that?"

I looked up at him quietly before sighing, "I'm just the lord's daughter. I'm not anything significant-" He cut me off.

"You are everthing but insignificant," Garroth said. All I did was look at him, it was all I could think of doing.

"Look, I've never met someone like you before. My whole plan was just to leave after a few days but... then i met you," Garroth said. His voice was very gentle. My eyes just looked at his, "You're just saying that to be nice..."

He chuckled very lightly, "I'm not. I really think that... because I honestly love you," He said as I looked at him, "You love me...? I thought you said you wouldn't love anyone-"

"I said I couldn't force myself to learn love," He said. I was looking down before I felt him gently lift my chin," I never learned love for you... I can feel it," He gently smiled to me.

My eyes watched his face. He looked like he really did mean it. I bit my lip lightly, "I don't know what to think... I've just been scared for falling for the wrong person," I trailed off. Garroth smiled softly, "Believe me... I have the same fear. But, you shouldn't think... just do it," The last three words he whispered gently to me.

"Well, if that's the case," I whispered back, gently stepping to him.

He smiled lightly before he gently tilted his head, and settled a gentle kiss on my lips. Everthing was adrenaline run. I've never had someone kiss me, nor be around me because of a fear of my father. It was us in that state, in our own little world, before I gently pulled away, my eyes gently closed still before I opened them. We both looked gently at one another before he said, "I am so in trouble with your father, aren't I...?"

I giggled quietly, making him softly chuckle, "Yeah... You are, Garroth," I whispered lightly. He smiled, his nose gently beside mine, our lips still in very close proximity, "I was and is worth it," he said in a murmured tone before kissing me again.

We pulled away after a few moments, holding onto our hands lightly as we walked the rest of the way to the market. After a few more weeks, I learned of Garroth speaking to my father of us being together. But, what surprised me was that, he wanted to be with me still. I got a smei-answer from Lady Liana, who was helping him with the decision.

Garroth and I waited for my parents in the meeting room, where every year the Ru'aun Council would meet. We were both nervous for their answer. But then again, why would we?

Father and Lady Liana walked in from the back door, looking at us with two smiles. Garroth looked to them, "Good evening, m'lord and lady," Garroth said to them as he bowed lightly. My right foot crossed lightly behind my left leg as I gently grabbed the edges of my skirt sides, bowing respectfully. Father chuckled, "Alaina, your mother and I have talked about something very exciting for you two, and, the answer to Mr. Ro'Meaves's question," Father and Lady Liana smiled together.

Garroth looked up to him, waiting almost impatiently for an answer. Father chuckled before Lady Liana answered, "Yes. We are more than willing to allow you and Lady Alaina be together," She said in a gentle tone, obvious joy in her voice. My eyes lit up as we both looked at one another, almost in disbelief. I can be with him... I can be with him!! He engulfed me in a hug, making me laugh lightly and hug back.

Father chuckled, "It is our decision that, you two are free to make your own choices. We are around all the time if you both have any concerns or questions," He said. Lady Liana nodded, "We want you two to have these as well," She walked up to us with father, him sliding something around Garroth's neck, and her something around mine, "These are crystals found under the city. They brought both I and Matthew together so, we hope they give you, and your family eventually, good luck."

I smiled softly before hugging her, "Thank you, Liana," I whipsered. She smiled gently, hugging me back, "You're welcome, sweetheart."

I giggled before Garroth and I took our leave. He smiled at me softly, "I'm glad it worked out," He gently whispered next to my ear. I giggled again, "Especially after a few nights ago," I asked softly.

He nodded, "Yeah. We don't want to end up like Romeo and Juliet right," He joked, squeezing my side. I smiled, "Yeah. That would be horrible," I said.

He chuckled with a smile, "Together no matter what," He stated with me nodding in agreement, "No matter what."

Months to a year and a half passed. Big changes happened. For one, my parents became grandparents, and my half sister an aunt. Fifteen months. Two weeks. Three days to the day. Lillian Marie Ro'Meave. Garroth and I's Seven and a half month old daughter. I sat in the living room of our house, holding a bottle and Lillian, her asleep in my arms.

Garroth came out of one of the rooms, walking over to me, "Hey Lainy," He said softly. I looked up at him lightly, "Morning, sleepyhead," I whispered before he pecked my lips lightly, making me giggle.

"How's Lillian then," He asked with a chuckle. I shrugged softly, "She stayed up most of the night. She went to sleep a few minutes ago," Garroth nodded softly in understanding, "Well, I have an idea planned for today," He smiled brightly. I looked at him, "Oh? And what would that be," I asked softly before he chuckled, "YOu'll see. It's going to be really fun," He kissed my cheek, "I promise."

I gently nodded before he smiled, "Want me to go make some breakfast for you," He asked. I nodded again before saying, "If you can," He rolled his eyes with a smile before kissing me again and going into the kitchen.

I smiled lightly, "Your daddy is silly, isn't he. And he's one of the best, honey," I whipsered, gently kissing my daughter's forehead. Lillian stirred lightly, yawning, her small hands gently grasping into a fists, rubbing her eyes lightly.

Her hair was still slightly grown, the shade a very light gold tone. She was very preety already, Garroth saying a month ago of never letting her get married to just anyone. I sighed, knowing how he felt. I want our baby girl to stay safe, and not fall into the wrong hands.

After a half hour, Garroth came back in. Lillian was awake and started squirming in excitement when she saw him. Garroth smiled before picking her up from the blanket she was lying on, "Hey, honey!"

Lillian giggled, squirming even more, looking at Garroth lightly, her light baby blue eyes gleaming brightly in excitment.

I laughed softly before getting up from off the floor," Please tell me you made food for yourself too, " I said softly before he laughed and said, "Of course I did. Because I knew you would say that."

My voice giggled before we both walking into the dining room and ate, Garroth holding LIlli.

It was peaceful other than Lillian wanting to eat what Garroth was eating and my laughter of it. Garroth chuckled, "Your momma can feed you better than I can, Lily," He whispered, making my head shoot up.

Lily looked at him before at me, opening and closing her mouth. I laughed, "Okay, Lily," Garroth gently handed her to me before I got an extremely small piece of my food and gave it to her.

Lillian held it curiously before opening her mouth, and almost missing, before she giggled, wanting more.

"Garroth, I'm never going to get her to eat what she's supposed to eat again," I looked at him, teasingly making him have it his fault. Garroth laughed, swallowing his food, "Ha."

We just looked at each other in silence before laughing. Lilli looked between us with a giggle, her expression showing that she didn't understand what we were laughing about, but she wanted to laugh too.

The next hour passed slowly as we cleaned up and Garroth got some things ready for the surprise he had planned.

Lillian and I stayed in the living room most of the time, Lilli working on crawling to me and standing up on her own. I laughed lightly, smiling encouragingly to her the whole time. She fell into my arms, her eyes widened with shock from the fall. I giggled before putting her in my lap and she faced me, reaching for my dangling crystal necklace.

"No, no, honey. This is mommy's," I said softly, "Yours is in here," I leaned over to the couch side table, gently taking out a lime colored crystal. She babbled excitedly, wanting to grab it, her eyes glowing with curiousity.

I smiled gently, "Here," I gently gave it to her. She gingerly held it, mimicking how I had been holding it," My momma said that these crystals give you good luck when you are older. Maybe it will help you then and now," she giggled, listening to me talkj. She lightly held it on her own.

A small spark of red was inside the crystal, never have been there before. I frowned softly before she started crying, dropping the crystal into her lap.

I pulled the crystal away, dropping it away from us as I focused on Lillian. I was worried, holding her motherly. Her body soon stopped shaking, her going back to her giggly self. I smiled lightly, "You better, Lillipad?"

She babbled, holding onto my arms as she stood up from my lap, wobbling like a baby horse taking its first step.

Garroth came in after a few minutes saying, "You two ready to go?"

Lillian squealed, looking at him excitedly. I smiled softly, holding her gently, "Yeah. I think we are."

Garroth chuckled as we went outside. He had a medim sized satchel on his side as we walked into the treeline that surrounded Corona.

I felt uneasy, not being used to the outside of the village. Garroth moved over to me and kissed my nose lightly, "It's alright," He gently said.

I nodded quietly, trusting him. Lillian had falling asleep. I smiled softly before using the jacket around my waist as a baby sling. Garroth slid his arm around me, helping me secure it over my shoulder and around my neck. He smiled gently as he leaned his head lightly on mine and loocked at Lily.

"She's adorable whenn she's sleeping," He whispered lightly, his warm breath tickling my ear. I giggled lightly, smiling softly in agreement.

He smiled before we got to a small clearing. He set down the stuff he had brought. I sat on the picnic blanket he had brought.

"I wasn't expecting LIllian to fall asleep, though," he admitted, sitting beside me.

As if on cue, Lillian shifted in my arms. I smiled lightly, "She'll wake up soon, don't worry."

He smiled before I laid Lillian down on the blanket. Garroth gently scooted towards me. I leaned back on my hands lightly. When I pulled my head up, our noses brushed against one another's,. He chuckled softly, "It's been awhile, princess."

"A while? Since what," I whispered softly, my eyes slightly looking down, focused unconsciously on his lips when he spoke.

"Since we've been out here alone with each other," He murmured, smiling gently, his breath fanning on my face. I giggled, biging my lip softly. It was more comforting when he was close to me, knowing that we were there, knowing my knight could protect me, protect me and our baby girl.

He smiled before he gently tilted his head, bothof us locking into a gentle kiss. The kiss stood until I heard Lillian start to wake up. Garroth pulled away gently, my eyes softly opening as his did.

Garroth chuckled quietly, looking at me tenderly, "I love you Alaina," He whispered, his voice still held his O'Khasian accent.

I giggled lightly, looking up at him, "I ove you too..."

He smiled at me again.

A few hours passed. Lillian's consciousness lasted a few moments but she had fallen back asleep. Sleepy KNight Garroth had fallen asleep, his head gently leaned on my shoulder. I smiled softly, closing my eyes lightly.

Crack. My eyes shot back open. I looked around quietly, wanting to know what made the sound. I suddenly saw a flurry of red before my eyes widened.

Nether Warrior...

I moved softly, letting Garroth lay lightly on the ground before I grabbed one of my throwing knives and ran out to find it.

For minutes, I couldn't find any source of prints before suddenly, tracks were under the brush. I frowned before following them.

I quickly followed them before they led to a clearing. I looked around, my eyes wide. Oh no... I ran over to see Garroth still asleep, but Lillian was no where near.

I ran after the tracks again before hearing an ear-splitting cry. My feet barely touched the ground as I ran to the cry.

A Nether Warrior stood, daggar drawn and covered in blood. On the ground, Lillian.

"NO," I screamed, running towards the killer. He wasn't paying attention to me until my knife went through their chest. He slowly turned his armored head to me, eyes glowing before he collapsed onto the ground, half leaned on me. I threw his body away from me, screamling to Lilli.

She was crying, lying on her back on the ground, her clothes stained red from blood. I picked her up, tears brimming my eyes, my mind realizing what was happening... My daughter was dying...

I rushed to go back to Garroth, holding Lillian close to me. On my way... Lillian stopped crying. She stopped moving, looking breathing, enough that my heart shattered to millions of pieces.

"Lillian," I sobbed quietly, "N-no," my eyes were flooded with tears.

As soon as I got to the clearing, Garroth had come towards us, "Laina! What's going-" He saw Lillian.

I was a mess, her blood and the Nether Warrior's blood covered my hands and shirt. Tears brimmed my eyes.

"You killed her," Garroth quietly looked at me, shock, hurt, sadness, and a tint of anger grew in his eyes. My eyes widened, "No, I-I didn't!"

He frowned, "I understand you being angry but not so angry you'd kill your own daughter," He accused. Tears brimmed my eyes even more as he back away slowly, "You're a monster..."

"Garroth, I didn't do anything-" He was gone before i could finish. My body fell to the ground, holding Lillian protectively, not ready to let her go. I'd never be ready to let her go...

I love you, Garroth... why don't you love me enough to believe me....

And THAT, is Alaina Corona.
