The elf let out a quiet screech, making sure that it wasn't loud enough for the others to hear. It was currently 2:12 AM and she hasn't been able to fall asleep at all.

  Em wanted to sleep. Dear god she did. But it was never easy for her.

  That's the main reason why her and Erinna got along. They mainly bonded over complaining to eachother how much they wish that they didn't have insomnia.

But, lucky for Erinna, she had fallen asleep a while ago. Meanwhile Em is wide awake and not happy in the slightest.
  She sighs and groans at the same time, still making sure that she can't be heard, and flops downward onto her pillow. The fan rumbles slightly and she closed her eyes, hoping to fall asleep... only to no avail.

  Groaning once again, Em pulls a pillow over her head before taking it off again. She makes another routine check around her room to make sure no one is hiding anywhere.
  Being overly paranoid isn't nice either.

  'Y'know what? Screw this.' Em thought to herself. 'If I can't fall asleep, then I'll just stay up!' She grins widely, which is almost rare for her to even smile, yet she was alone and can do whatever she wants.

  'I'll just stay up until I die! Sleep is irrelevant.'
  And that was the last thought that went through Em's head before she passed out.
