Patton shook as he faced his mother- one of those dreaded Power canceling bands on his wrists and He was grounded by chains on his wrists. When had this all gone wrong again-? Oh right- When He got a note saying Virgil was in trouble. It matched up because Virgil was gone without a word to the others. Unknown to him at that time, Virgil was just out with Emile. So he ran right into a trap and was now basically bait ish for his crushes and possibly his teachers. And they just recovered from their last interaction with Anti-Path. His mother made sure to keep him bye her side at all times. When she moved to a new room she would take him to the room after disconnecting the chain from the ground and drags it with her. When she wanted to go out she would leave him with her minions. I had been here for about 3 days now and there was no sign of a rescue attempt or that im known to actually be gone-

"Oh Patton dear- Remember when you used to burn those little ants-? Or put little beetles on their backs-?" Anti-Path asked. I shivered a bit. I was so bad back then. I harmed little mindless creatures just because I was bored back then. And with that one girl, I hurt her as well.

" Im not like that anymore-" I begin to say

" OH yes- because your grandmother thought you were bad. That being a villain was disgusting and wrong-"

"IT IS WRONG!" I yelled out. Anti Path then slapped me. Ow-

"DONT- talk back to your mother like that!" She said sternly.

"You are not my mother- Your a villain- GranGran has been there for me more then you have been anyways-" I hissed out. Anit-path laughed a bit then.

"Oh trust me- I'll be here for you more now that no one realises your gone-" She said smirking. What-?

"I hired someone to pretend to be you- He has been spying on you for a while now while me and the others spied on the kid that was supposed to be selled to me a while ago- His father and siblings didnt have powers and he is now at your school-" Anti-path said as she walked over to the computer that was in the room. She then turned it one and the first thing I saw was Hoodie, Logan and WInny just chatting and chillin around at the local cafe. Logan was still homeschooled but His parents let him come back to the school just to hang out with his friends. They chatted like normal and soon Roman and - me? Right anti hired a shapeshifter spy- Everyone seemed like thye didnt noticed. But I did notice Hoddie- Once the imposter came over he was suddenly in edge- Like something was off- HIs powers- Of course! He told me that the shadows do help sometimes and dont always say bad stuff.

"I do admit- I never thought my son and the child who was to be sold to me would be friends- Black does seem to notice that you aren't you-" Anit-path said with a hint of impression in her voice- My blood ran cold- Hoodie was going to be SOLD- To Anti-path-? Was this why he hated his family and his powers-? Because he was told that he was a villain and was being sold to one-?

"Leave Hoodie- Wait no- all of THEM out of this! Please-" I say. I needed to keep the others safe- especially hoodie-

"Hoodie-? You mean Virgil Black-? Why are you protecting him-? And do you know his powers-?" Anti-path asked coming over to me- I just had to keep them safe

"Im not telling you-" I say in a hiss like way.

"What a shame- guess i'll get have to take the others then- " anti-path said witha small sigh. She started to walk away again when suddenly-

"Wait! Y-yes Hoodie is Virgil, And he's my best friend who i cant bare to see hurt or terrified- and - His powers are- They are pretty 'normal ordinary powers and not at all impressive'- He's just training to get the hang of using his powers now so he doesnt end up losing any control of them-" I said- I somehow knew that if I told her that his powers where't anything special and he was only there cuz a super wanted him to train to get a hold of them, she wouldn't go after him. I had to keep them safe. I couldnt let them be hurt because of me.

"Huh- guess his father really didnt want to have a kid with powers and decided to have me take him in or something-" Anti- path said- I see her go back to her computer. She typed something in messaging someone and I see the imposter pulled out a phone and texted back before saying something and leaving with a bright smile. Anti-Path went right back to me.

"Surely tho- you wouldn't try to escape if I were to let you roam around- right-? Especially if it means that your friends stay safe-?" Anti-path asked. I nodded and she smiles and lets me free of the chains and leads me to a room. A windowless room that looks a lot like how my room back at campus. They really do go into detail on rooms, dont they-? I sighed softly as I hear the door lock and footsteps leave. Mostly like my normal room but, Steal door that only had the handle on the other side and no windows. Basically a cell that was made to be like home. Great- I thought as I headed to the bed and I layed down. Never know when I'll get the chance to actually rest so might as well do it now- I thought as I closed my eyes and willing myself into a dreamless sleep.

Virgil's p.o.v:

Its not Patton

I know- you've told me the last three days- I think back to the shadows. Something happened to our patton and we couldnt tell the difference- The only reason I know its not patton was because the shadows kept telling me. Before that when I saw the imposter I noticed how he didnt have as many shadows as patton normally did. Pat doesnt have that many shadows to be honest but still. Pat's shadows were kinda bigger then normal when he went for his walk the other day and he then came back with them lower, I was plainly confused on that so ya.

We have to find Patton-

Ya, i know- please let me know where i can find him or how i can expose the imposter- please- I think back as i see the imposter move away.

"Is it just me or is something different in pat's behovor-?" Logan asked.

"I noticed the slight change but I dont think its something to worry about-" Roman said. Of course roman said that- He doesnt pay pat a lot of attention. Then again he does the same with me and winny- alot too.

"NO- it is something to worry about- The shadows are going crazy about it-" I said in a mumble

" What are your shadows saying if you mind telling-?" Winny asked kinda interested.

" That- THAT- isnt Patton- I dont know how I- or we can prove it though- Whoever that is isnt Demon nor is he anyone else we know that can shapeshift-" I said-

"Maybe you can get the teachers and the principle outside saying that we kinda wann see if they had any ideas with what we could improve on-?" Roman asked.

" We give them a demonstration of our powers and when it comes to 'Pattons' turn- He would be caught red handed-" Logan said.

" Wait- what about you logan- your being home schooled-" I asked

"Simple- I can say that my parents are out on a mission right now and I wanted to work some more on my powers- they do know that I can come here as long as im not alone until the situation in dealt with-" Logan said. We all nodded and went to do our plans. Meet up at the back in the closest training room with the teachers and the principle and have patton either go first, second or third- I walked to emile's door and knocked and emile answered. I then noticed Remy and Demon and even Maca was in the room-

"Ve-? Whats up-?" Emile asked. Time to get this plan going

"Um me and a few friends where wondering if you all, including principle Kitty can um- help us know where to improve in our powers-" I said. Emile looked at me and smile.

" Im down to it- what about you all-?" He asked to the others they nodded even tho Mr. Demon was kinda hesitate to it.

"Ok where are your friends-?" Kitty asked- She was on the other side out of view-

" We're meeting in the training room closest to here- Its me, Roman, Patton, Winny and Logan as well- He said he was joining us so he had something other then reading to do later as his parents are on a mission-" I said- It helps that his parents really where on a mission so ya-

"Ok then- Lead the way then" remy said as he and the others got up. We all then walked to the training area. We walk in and thankfully I see the others with the imposter- They went to an area where to judge us and I went to join the others.

Imposter- He's an imposter! We need to find the real one! Patton could be in trouble!

I sighed shaking my head. Winny ended up going first and then Logan and then Roman. Next was Patton was just stood there thinking. I kinda felt bad then remembered- This isnt patton- Its an imposter-

"Pat- would you like to go or Shouldn't virgil go next-?" Demon asked.

"I think Virgil should go next- I would love to see his powers since- he hasnt really showed them-" confirmed twice in one sentence- THAT Isnt patton. I could tell emile knew. I told him how they called me hoodie and sure Patton and roman slipped but patton would always immediately apologize and call me hoodie and I also said that I showed Logan and Roman and Patton- I then see Demon's face as well. Thats right- He saw my powers- My whole class did-

" Who are you-?" Emile asked the imposter who looked shocked

"What do you-"

" You are not Patton- the fact you said you would love to see Virgil's power gave that away considering you have seen it at least twice-" Emile said as him and the other teachers come down.

" Of course I am- Right guys-" The imposter said

" NO you arent- You keep calling hoodie by his name- You've seen Virgils powers- plus you aren'f using the powers the real Patton has-" Logan said.

"Wait you all knew this was an imposter-?" Kitty asked gasped.

"Ya- to be fair we couldnt just come up and say- hey- Patton really isnt patton- So once we figured it out we came up with this plan-" Winny said. I see mr. Remy come over and put on a power canceling band on him.

"How long and who hired you-?" Demon asked the shapeshifter. He wasnt much older then us to be honest.

" Why does it matter- the boss paid me not to speak and play as the boy for as long as I could-" He said.

Anti-Path Anti-Path ANTI-PATH! He's trapped- Locked up- DONT SHOW US! He's protecting you- IT WAS HER- the villain youre father was selling you too- he Lied- HE NEEDS HELP- scared but also brave- UNABLE TO TAKE ENERGY! Growing tired- SLEEP- HES ASLEEP- sleep was needed- he didn't sleep

I covered my ears- They kept talking like they knew what was going on with pat- Im scared- Dont show- Dont tell- Thats the only thing I can get out from the voices of the shadows.

"Ve-?"

"Hoodie-?!"

"We need to talk in private-" I said.

"I'll leave you all to it- Maca- your helping me-" Kitty said and the two lead the shapeshifter out. The rest of us headed to a different room it was like a sound proof room too.

"Virgil what happened-? Where the shadows speaking again-?" Logan asked.

" Y-ya It seemed like they were talking about Patton- and um- Anti-Path-? And something else too- But ya-"

"Wait- what about anti-Path-?" Remy asked.

" I dont know- They just said Anti-Path a few times then something else- It was like they screamed a few times- I remembered what they screamed- ' Anti-path, Dont Show us, It was her, He needs help, Unable to take energy, and Sleep, He's asleep-'. Thats what I remembered-" I said softly.

" I think, Your shadows where saying that anti-path took Patton, And maybe he is now asleep by some means-? It would make sense that he couldnt take her energy if she put a power canceling band on him- and maybe they know that If you show your powers infront of the person, They might find a way to get info to Anti-Path who might just try and take you for- certain reasons-" emile said. That would make sense.

"Ya- I already almost was in her grasp- rather not be a villain like my father was going to make me be just by selling me to her." I said- then realised what I said.

"YOUR FATHER DID WHAT NOW!?" I hear multiple voices ask at the same time.

"Uuuummmm- Almost sold me to a villain which was most likely anti-path-?" I said nervous.

" oh god- Hoodie- im so sorry that almost happened-!"

"Dude- your father is just the worst- and that coming from somewhere-"

"Know that you are NOT a villain Hoodie! Your father might as well have been one tho!"

" No wonder you ran away and didnt want to go back at all-"

" damn-"

" That fucker has no right to do that-" Remy said lastly- I smiled a bit happy that they dont exactly think of me as a villain because of my powers-

" all though- my question is why go after Patton-? He sweet and kind, and he said that he lived with his grandmother who didnt have powers- I can see Logan and Roman, Maybe even Ve now if she already knew- But why patton?" Demon asked

"I think I might know-" Logan said softly.

"A while ago- I had found out something about Patton that he doesnt like and asked me to keep it a secret- However- This would greatly benefit us into finding and resuing Patton- I am going to require that you all also keep this a secret between us-" He said-

"Whatever help us get Patton back-" Roman said putting up his pickie to make a promise. I followed soon after then Winny, emile, Remy and Demon joined.We all then made the promise.

"Ok- so I had noticed patton had ran off while we were watching the news that one time and I found him in the hallway in a curled up ball- Turns out that- Anti-Path is Patton's Mother-" Logan said. Oh gosh- I hope Patton doesnt feel like he is a villain because of his mother-! Thats far from true!

"Well- that is really interesting-" Roman said in surprise.

"He doesnt feel like he is his mother- does he-?"

"Not exactly- He, like hoodie, Is scared that he might become a villain- Although I have told him that he wasn't anything like his mother- and Virgil- you are also not a villain-" logan said after a bit of talking we made a plan- Logan would see how many people there are and he would also find Patton's thoughts- Remy and Demon would go and distract anti-path and Emile would work with Roman and me to sneak around and free pat from where ever they were keeping him at. Winny would be the look out/ back up- we soon got together now being in hero costumes and we headed out.

3rd person p.o.v:

When they got to the place Virgil's Shadows lead to, They hid. It had been a few hours sense they found out patton was taken by anti path so they didnt know what would have happened.

Left, the right, then another right then straight then left again. Blocked door-

Virgil soaked up the info he had been given. He lead Doc and flame as roman wanted to be called down the hallway quietly making themselves invisible almost. After going right the second time they hear alarms go off and shouting from Remy and Demon along with Anti-path's minions. They soon get to the hallway and see what the shadows ment by the blocked door- It was legit was blocked by a few boxes and chains over the door. She was definitely hiding something or someone.

One the other side of the door in the corner in the darken room sat Patton in a small ball like he was trying to protect himself from being beat up. They three on the otherside soon gets it unblocked and roman managed to melt the chains off the door and the shadows somehow gets the door unlocked they go in and ve and Roman emediantly go over to Patton who looked at them in disbelief. Then they hugged and were then on the run to get out. They did just this and they all managed to get out. Anti-path didnt find out till the next day and didnt know how they got in and out without being seen until two caused the distraction. But one thing is for sure, Anti-Path now knew that Patton was lying about how Black's powers werent that intresting. Cuz coimg out from the shadows out of no where is really interesting.
