Patton’s p.o.v: 

I panicked. The wind was rushing past us. Even though we were falling fast and I cant really control my magic right now because of the broken Water Guardian crystal thing I had on me. Lets start with the start -ish. Hello, My name Is Patton Hearting. I am the only child of Lady and Lord Hearting. My father is a water Pony, and My mother is a Guardian. Im a hybrid of both of them which makes me kinda rare. I live with my friends which I consider Family, I’ll go from oldest to youngest. There is Janus, Roman, and remus who all is around the same age. Janus is just a few months from Remus and Roman, Then there is Logan and Thomas. Also around the same age. And then we Have me and Virgil. I was at the age of 20, and Virgil was at the age of 18. Janus was the eldest at 27 and Roman was the middle of him, Remus and Janus. All three were 27 now. Logan is 25, Thomas is 23, and then I was 20 and virgil was 18. We all met in high school mainly because Janus, Roman and Remus was student aids and logan had been homeschool and accidently skipped two years. He managed to get the two years caught up in the first year.

Two days ago, Me and Ve had been on a walk when Ve went to use the bathroom and I got cornered by people who knew I was a hybrid. We made a deal and they left me alone just as Virgil had came out. He was still worried about me but I managed to brush it off and continue. That Night I snuck out and met them at the park where we agreed to meet. They did what they wanted in the back of their van and I went back home limping. It had hurt me but I didnt care. The next day they wanted me to come over at noon. How they got my ohone number, Im not sure- I didnt bring my phone with me the first time so ya-. I went over now taking my phone and after they were done with me the second time I felt a collar on me. I then realised it was a water guardian crystal. That ended in panic and being knocked out and waking up bruised and hurting more. They forced food down my throat and had even told me to eat the food or they would have more fun. They didnt Just use me for a toy. They also used me for a punching bag too. The next day they dragged me out of the house and to the tallest building in the town/city which was about 20 levels I think. There was a couple missing and we had to sneak out from the back. Once on the roof they throw me down on the ground locking the door behind us.

“P-pat-” Virgil said- They had taken Virgil. They didn't tell me to behave or else, I know we made a deal but that was just to be their toy whenever they wanted. I could say give me a minute or two to get away but I couldn't say no. Which I didn't. I did beg for them to stop when they beat me but they told me to be quiet after a few. Sure I did struggle a lot and fight back as well. But they ever told me what to do. All they would do is leave everyone else alone. And now they Have Virgil. Eventually The police were there, So where the others. They were down there while we where up here. I remembered that the crystal had broke when i was pushed down. I yelled and scream as two of them slowly pushed Virgil off. Just as Virgil started to fall I broke free and went after him. It was stupid, I know it was dumb. But I needed Virgil to be safe. I had changed into my dragon form just as I was grabbing Virgil. I tried to fly or glide, But that was useless now. I held Virgil close and closed  my eyes. I was a small dragon but still big enough to hide someone under my wings and protect them from a huge fall. Granted this one would hurt me more. Even trying to slow down was hard because one of my wings wasnt working. It was most likely then not that the wing was dislocated.

“P-pat?” Virgil asked softly but terrified. Absolutely terrified. I didnt answer exactly but I did give a small noise saying that I was here and that Ill be here. The ground was getting closer and closer. I think I saw a small flash of blue/cyan. But then again, I could be wrong. The ground was still getting closer and closer. I closed my eyes and curled up around Virgil. Thats when suddenly I felt something grab me and glide down. I didnt open my eyes until we hit the ground softly. I looked up and Saw Nightlara changing from her dragon form to her human form. I took a minute and also saw everyone else coming towards us. I careful uncurled from Ve and He looked shocked as he took in that we both were alive. I start to get up but the pain finally kicks in and sends me falling down on the ground. I looked at everyone as i felt the magic act up against the crystal turning me into a wolf. Virgil looked at me and he was saying something but I couldnr hear it. All I heard was ringing and the sound of the wind. I also saw small dots at the edge of my vision.

“Patton can you hear me-?” I heard Gaurdia ask. I couldnt see her though. Where was she-? Whats going on-?

“Heart, Calm down. Relax- We are here and we will help you. What is 5 things you can see?” Elisabeth asked. I couldnt see her either. I didnt realise I was panicking a lot. There was Virgil, Nightlara, Roman and remus talking with the cops along with logan, I also saw the cops talking the people into their cop cars and finally saw Gaurdia and Elisabeth standing a bit away- Where they doing the mind reading thing-?

“Yes. we are. Now 4 things you can feel-?” Guardia asked. The ground, Pain, Cold, Pain Frozen-Pain- wait-

“OK Patton, that was about four. Not counting the repeats so good enough. Now what about 3 things you can hear?” Nightlara asked. She was here too-? I heard the girls and … More noise. Virgil- Virgil was speaking with Janny. They were staying as calm as possible. Logan said I must be a unittien for me to do it. I heard that distant ringing too but it was barely audible for me.

“Pat, Can you speak for the rest?” Nightlara asked now right in front of me. I Shrugged a bit, still laying on the ground. 

“OK then. Lets try. What is 2 things you can smell?”

“ you and them-” I said really softly. I changed again into a griffin this time. Everything still hurt.

“Ok. What about taste-?” Guardia ask. I froze. I couldn’t say what I tasted. Not outloud. So I stayed quiet.

“Pat-?”

“Hes thinking-” Elisabeth said. It was a lie and Janus knew that but He could tell that I was to scared to say it. What would they think-? If they found out-? What if they are mad at me for it. What if any of them yells at me for being forced to do it? To be a toy? That I agreed to it just because they would kill them-?

HeyHeyHey Hey- Pat. Calm- Think- Its alright- its ok. Dont worry about it- Its ok- Your ok. Youll be ok- Its fine- What did they do-?” Guardia asked pulling me into a small hug and taking off the annoying collar off. I turned back into my human form. So many scars and bruises littered my body plus, THOSE kind of marks. I was grateful that I was clothed but those phantom pain was still there. I couldnt respond back to Gaurdia. How could I. They were there. I couldnt dare tell them about that. I just couldnt.

“Shit- Pat. Its ok. You dont have to say it out loud-” ‘But I have a feeling from your racing thoughts on some of the things they did to you.’ What they did, It hurts. It hurts so much. The bruises, scars and bite marks that weren’t even visible to them. Everything hurt so much. But at least they are safe. Right-? 

“Right. Also, No diving off a building after anyone else. Especially being hurt.-” Elisabeth said sitting infront of me. I was tired but at least Virgil was safe. At least everyone else was safe. I soon felt a sudden pain from my left arm. The same side that my dislocated wing was. I yelped and whimpered softly.

“Sorry, Thought to get that taken care of now. Its wouldn’t be ideal to keep a dislocated shoulder when someone sees it was dislocated.” Nightlara said softly. I moved a bit and the world started to spin around a bit for me. So dizzy. And I think I passed out-? I dont know- 

Virgil’s p.o.v:

Patton had passed out after having Nightlara say sorry about his dislocated shoulder. I was still trying to understand what happened. All I know was that Patton had went missing around noon yesterday and this morning I went on a small walk when I was pulled back and taken. Luckily I had my phone in a mini Pocket of my sleeve so when they left me alone I texted for help to Roman. Pat’s phone Had been shattered somehow and was placed infront of our door around 6 in the afternoon yesterday. So we knew something happened to him. Thats when Logan had talked to The girls and we found out Pat was close friends with them. But the people who took me then dragged me onto the roof having me tied down. I still had my phone hidden so there was that. After a minute I see more of them and they brought Patton. He was bruised and a bit bloody. He also looked a mess and was zoned out completely. 

“P-pat-?” I asked and Patton snapped out of his small trance and looked at me with wide eyes. I could see he was scared but also thinking. He then started to beg for them to let me go and to not do it after they had me over the edge. They told Patton to be quiet and to stop struggling when they let me go. Next then I knew I saw pat jump off after me and turn into a dragon. Then everything was a blur. But we were now safely on the ground somehow and we didnt splatter. I got up and saw dragon pat try to get up but falls and turns into a crystal wolf.

“Pat-? Are you ok? Pat-? Patton-?!” I asked almost panicking.

“We’ve got it- “ Nightlara said. I nodded and we turned to a cop and began to talk to him. The people where now down here too and being put into cop cars. After a minute I see Nightlara’s hands glow a bit. Telapthically talking to someone. Maybe pat. He was panicking at first but he was now a bit more calmer. 

“What happened-?” Janus asked.

“I dont exactly know but those assholes that took me had taken Patton as well and.. Ya. Patton is the wolf. I say as I take a small glance at Patton seeing him shrug to nothing in particular. 

“Patton must be some short of unittien. It would make sense. The girls are rulers of some of the unittiens and to be friends with them means either your a unittien who was already close to them or you befriended them and were friends with anyone else close to them. In my situation, They just so happen to come around class while I was doing extra reading on unittiens and they offered to help me learn more. Granted I dont exactly know why they did it to me. But Now I might have a reason why they wanted to befriend me a bit-” Logan said. I thought a bit as I looked at pat. Nightlara was in front of him

“Pat, Can you speak for the rest?” Nightlara asked. He Shrugged a bit, still laying on the ground. 

“OK then. Lets try. What is 2 things you can smell?”

“ you and them-” He said really softly. Patton then changed again into a griffin this time. Is he going to change back to a human?

“Hes thinking-” Elisabeth said. After a good minute Pat started to shake. He was obviously in deep thought and that wasnt a good place for him right now.

HeyHeyHey Hey- Pat. Calm- Think- Its alright- its ok. Dont worry about it- Its ok- Your ok. Youll be ok- Its fine- What did they do-?” Guardia asked pulling Patton into a small hug and taking a collar off. Patton then finally turned back into his human form. And oh my god, If I could, I would kill those damn people. So many scars and bruises littered Patton’s body. I was surprised he even manged to run and jump off after me. But it did make sense as to why he suddenly collapsed. 

“Shit- Pat. Its ok. You dont have to say it out loud-” Elisabeth said. Something was going on. If pat was worried about us seeing these wounded and scars, the he wouldnt change into his human form at all. So something else was going on. But what was it.

“Right. Also, No diving off a building after anyone else. Especially being hurt.-” Elisabeth said sitting infront of pat. He was tired. So obviously tried. Nightlara went over and put his dislocated arm back into place making pat whimper softly and yelp a bit too.

“Sorry, Thought to get that taken care of now. Its wouldn’t be ideal to keep a dislocated shoulder when someone sees it was dislocated.” Nightlara said softly. Pat moved a bit and He looked a bit dizzy suddenly. Then he suddenly passed out.

“PAT!?” I ask. Guardia lifted him up and held him. Elisabeth calmed me down and Nightlara explained what she knew. We all then headed to the hospital to get help for patton. We waited as they did tests and all that.
