Tawny and Reese Stark sat listening to their dad's friend Moses.

"So I looked into your missing supplies." he said quietly looking around. "Thing is they were never actually ordered."

"What I don't understand I sent that order in myself." Tawny replied puzzled.

"Well before it was finalized a second email was sent to the company. They were told that there'd been an ordering error and asked for a refund to be sent to this Swiss account." He indicated an account number on a paper he'd handed the girls.

"So someone from he relief group took the funds meant to help all these people for themselves?" Reese asked disgusted.

"Looks like it. I'm still trying to trace the owner of the account." He said tucking his papers back into his bag. "For now I'm not sure you girls need to stay here, I was as discreet as possible but I started this thinking I was looking for a missing package not a scheme. You could be in danger and your dad will have a fit if I don't ship you two back to him."

Before either girl could reply Moses stood grabbing their arms. "We have to move now!"

"What? What's going on?" Tawny whispered looking around nervously.

"Don't look around just walk stay with me." he said pulling the girls briskly along next to him. "That man's been following me since yesterday at first I thought I was imagining it but I'm not. no don't look!" He snapped as both girls went to look behind them. "Ok here's the thing sometimes people who steal money from their own companies or groups simply run when someone is onto them, other times they wanna get rid of the evidence. Sweethearts as of a few minutes ago we three are considered part of the cleanup."

"So you're saying they'll wanna kill us?" Tawny questioned her tone even.

"Unfortunately yes," he shoved both girls into an alley. "Ok we're gonna split up."

"You're leaving us!?" Reese squeaked terrified. Tawny pulled her little sister close comfortingly.

"We have to split up I want you two to run. Head down this alley don't go back to the group don't go anywhere you normally would. Look for my friend Lucas Reeds," he handed Tawny a slip of paper with Luke's address on it. "Tell him what's going on he'll help get you home. Whatever happens run! Stay together." with that he gave the girls a push and ran in the opposite direction a group of heavily armed men in hot pursuit.

Tony Stark tried for the fourth time to call his friend Moses with no luck. He'd tried a couple times the day before after receiving the email detailing where the missing supplies his daughter had called about had ended up.

"Tony he'll call back you need to calm down." Pepper reassured him.

Tony was about to give up when a heavily accented voice came over the line. "Hullo hullo?"

"Hello?" Tony answered puzzled, "is Moses Johnson there?"

"This is inspector Sorkar of the Dhaka police force." The man replied, "im sorry to have to break this to you Mr...?"

"Stark."

"Mr Stark your friend was found deceased last night I'm sorry."

"What happened?" Tony questioned immediately on the alert.

"Our preliminary findings point to a mugging." inspector Sorkar replied dismissively.

Tony ended the call and turned to Pepper. "Moses is dead, they're writing it off as a mugging." Tony kicked his chair over irritated. "We have to get the girls home something's going on over there."

Tony began calling his daughter's phone next. After the fifth call a young girl with a heavy southern accent picked up. "Hello? This is Tina."

"Tina?" Tony replied confused, "where's Tawny or Reese?"

"They went to town to meet a friend of there dad's about something yesterday they haven't come back. Mr. Anderson figures they stayed the night with him." She said in a bored tone. "Who's this?"

"There dad, have them call me the second they show up ok?"

"Will do." she said before hanging up.

"Tawny and Reese went to meet Moses yesterday." He told Pepper his voice breaking with his worry.

Pepper looked up fear for her children evident in her face. "They don't know where they are?"

"No. I can't help but think maybe that's a good thing?"

"How do you mean?" Pepper questioned thrown.

"Well if they'd been with Moses when he was killed there'd have been two more... two....they'd have been found with him.." he choked out unable to even voice the possibility his girls had been killed. "Moses would have seen it coming he would have gotten our girls out of there I know it. They're ok Pep I know they're ok." he reassured pulling his wife into his arms. "They're gonna be fine they will."

"You know this is the first time I've ever felt thankful to know Tawny has so much experience on the streets." pepper sniffled.

Tony chuckled, "yeah I guess you're right. I'm gonna go call Rhody see if he can get anyone looking for them. Then I'll see what Bruce and I can come up with." Tony shook his head sadly, "and when we get them home I'm locking them in their rooms for the rest of their lives!"
