Chapter 2 Nobody should go without water
The weeks flew by and before anyone quite realized it was time for the girls to leave. Tony pouted as they carried their things down to the waiting car. He pouted as they drove to the airport. He glared at the rest of their group once he met them as if they were personally responsible for taking his girls on this trip. When their flight was announced he pulled the sisters close holding them to him tightly. "You could still stay." he whispered pleadingly.
"Dad we'll be fine! I promise." Tawny reassured kissing his cheek, "it's only two months then you can lock us away in the tower like Rapunzel until I start my new job and Reese go's back to school."
"Speak for yourself." Reese interjected.
"Come on honey you have to let them go now." Pepper said prying her husband from their daughters.
The girls smiled broadly as they waved back to their parents before disappearing onto the plane.
"They'll be fine Tony," Pepper reassured, "they're just like their father."
"Pep that's actually not very reassuring."

The girls stepped out of the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka Bangladesh nearly seventeen hours later to be met with stifling humidity.
Tawny pulled out the phone Tony had made especially so they could check in anywhere and sent him a message. 'We've arrived it's super hot. Off to bring the people water 😃'
Almost instantly Tony replied with, 'why couldn't I have just given money so they could have fresh water? 😒'
'Somebody's got to dig the well pops 💧' Tawny responded before tucking the phone into her backpack.
The girls piled into the boats awaiting their group and headed down the river for their first stop a rural village in south Bangladesh.
Six hours later the girls climbed onto the small dock and wandered into their temporary home. It had taken nearly a full day to get here and the group was dead on their feet.
Tawny awoke the next morning ready to begin. "Reese get up!" She whispered to her sister still sleeping nearby.
"Five more minutes." she mumbled half asleep.
"Not happening kid the children need us." she said heroically posing like captain America as they had throughout their childhood.
Reese laughed and threw her pillow at her big sister. "Fiiiiiiine im up. let's go makes wells!"
"Yay lets go!" Tawny cheered leading her stumbling sister outside.
The weeks flew by with the group digging a new well about every week. Between her work digging Tawny would check the children for diseases and give vaccinations. She loved helping the kids more than anything. Few people knew better than Tawny what it felt like to not know where you were going to get the simple everyday necessities.
"Tawny, Reese?" The director of their relief group called.
"Yes?" The girls replied looking up from their shovels.
"We need someone to go back to town to pick up more supplies. You girls wanna do it?"
"Sure." they replied dusting off their dusty hands and climbing out of the hole.
Hours later Tawny stood arguing with the supplier. "You don't understand we're expecting a drill and twice these medical supplies!" She insisted getting frustrated.
"Supplies here." the man said pointing at a box.
"No more, more supplies." tawny replied, "where's the rest of the supplies?"
"Only supplies here. no drill you take this." he said handing her the box and pushing her towards the door.
Tawny pulled her phone and pressed it to her ear as she stood with her sister in the street. "Daddy?"
"Hey kiddo how's it going? Ready to come home yet I can send the jet..."
"No dad I have a problem." She replied frustration evident in her tone.
"What's wrong?" Tony replied instantly on alert.
"Nothing's wrong with Reese or I calm down." She reassured instantly. "We were supposed to get a drill so we could dig the wells quicker and more efficiently and about twice the medical supplies we have, but when we went to pick them up half the supplies are gone and the drill is missing."
"Ok I'll send some..."
"No dad, thank you but we worked hard to raise the money for those things I don't just want to replace them I want to know what happened. Is there any way you could have someone look into it for me?"
"Sure thing kiddo I'll call a guy." Tony replied always willing to do anything for his girls.
"Thanks pops." She replied happily, "gotta go now call again soon love you."
"Alright baby girl love you too give your sister my love."
"Will do bye." Tawny shoved the phone back into her bag. "Dad's gonna look into it. Till then I guess we make do with what we have."
"This is stupid who looses a drill that size!?" Reese grumbled frustrated.
"I highly doubt it was lost." Tawny replied looking around suspiciously at the people passing them.
