Yoshi stared into the tree. He looked at the heart. He read the words "L+Y". 'did Lavender do this?' Yoshi thought.

Sunday soon arrived... Birdo woke up, to the sound of her phone ringing. "WHAT!?!" She yelled as she picked up. "um, I just wanted to tell you my choice..." Yoshi said on the other line. "oh..sorry, I thought you where Boshi, he's been bugging me all day long" Birdo explained.

"well I made my choice...no, I'm not quite ready for relationships..maybe give me some time?" Yoshi said quietly. "....okay..." Birdo said plainly. They both hung up. 'he has all the time in the world to make his choice..." Birdo thought.

The next few hours had gone by pretty miserable. She had taken a walk in the park, until half an hour later, it started raining. "at least it cools me off" Birdo said sarcastically. At home she had served herself some cereal, until she then ran out of milk. "I like dry cereal anyways" Birdo said sarcastically.

She walked to school, as soon as she got in, she remembered about her homework. "I'll make up an excuse" She muttered. She soon entered the class. She plumped herself down into her seat.

"what's wrong Birdo?" Rosalina asked. "I don't know...Yoshi said he needed more time.." Birdo explained calmly. "well, he'll make the best choice....for himself" Rosalina said, whispering the last part. Luckily Birdo hadn't heard her. "I think you should ask Peach for advice. She does have her boyfriend anyways..." Rosalina suggested. Birdo nodded and went to Peach.

"Peach!" Birdo called out. "yeah?" Peach asked. "I need some advice on getting closer to Yoshi" Birdo said. "well, you could go with him somewhere, for example the park, or restaurant.." Peach suggested. "thanks, I'll ask him" Birdo said.

A few classes passed, until finally lunch arrived. "umm, Yoshi?" Birdo asked. "yeah?" He asked. "would you like to come with me to get ice cream, later on today?" She asked. "sure" Yoshi said. Birdo smiled.

She then ran to the girls. "guess what?!" She said excitedly. "what?" Both Rosalina and Peach asked. "we're gonna go get ice cream later on today!! thanks for for the advice Peach!!" Birdo said excitedly. Both of them couldn't help but smile.

Unfortunately Lavender had been overhearing part of there conversation. 'you can get get ice cream with him today, but next you won't be' Lavender thought. She then bumped into Boshi. He then took interest in Lavender. "sorry..I wasn't seeing where I was going" Boshi said. "no, it's okay.." Lavender said.

'great...' Lavender thought. She then got in line. After getting her lunch, she sat next to Rosalina. "I've got a new stalker" Lavender said. "really? who?" Rosalina asked. "Boshi, I guess Birdo and Boshi didn't work out." Lavender said. Rosalina giggled.
