Captured
Erik ran as fast as his 15 year old legs would carry him. If he didn't, he knew that they would catch up. Why did he decide to take a shortcut through the alleyways especially at night? He had overheard a gang's plans of plotting to bomb the city. They had spotted him listening, and now they wanted him. To kill him.
He almost fell, stumbling over a piece of trash, but regained his balance. He felt a strong hand grab his shirt, but he ripped it out of the person's grasp. They where dangerously close.
He was tiring, fast. His legs ached, and his lungs felt explosive. He almost it had a heart attack when he rounded a corner, and came face to face with a tall brick wall. He turned around, and looked up into the faces of 4 angry men.
"Gotcha," one said, leaning down and breathing right in Eriks face. His breath wreaked of the smell of rotten fish and cigarettes. Grabbing him by the shirt and lifting him up, the man took a small piece of rope and tied his hands, then slung him over his shoulder.
"Don't say a word, or your blood will be marked on this here wall," he threatened Erik. Erik nodded. Where were they taking him? His thoughts swam in frantic motions in his head. He was only going to his dad's house, but no, he just had to take the shortcut through some alleyways, and get caught. He stopped and listened to the men.
"So, he knows our plans," one of them to the right said.
"Yea, he can't be alive, what if he escapes? Besides we aren't gonna take care of him," another one said.
"Well," one said, that had a deep voice. He sounded like the leader since when he spoke all the other men hushed. "I've done starvation, target practice, heights, poison and other numerous things to kill a person," he said in a cold tone."i haven't done drowning yet, that sounds sufficient."
"Yes!" The men chimed.
"Good good, a mere 5 minutes walk to the pier. We will take the boat, and drive a good ways out, where no one will see us, then tie him up, and toss him out." He replied, an evil smirk on his face.
A smirk was on Erik's face also, but for a very different reason altogether.

The boat swayed as they drove further out to sea, waves hitting the boat. Erik's smile stayed on his face and grew. You know why? Because he a water bender. He could produce water from his hands, he could control water, and breath water. He was going through the alleyways to his dad's house that was in the ocean. He hadn't used his powers to escape the men, because they did their best to keep their powers a secret. Now that where literally going to drop him in his home, he knew what he was going to do. These men didn't know what was coming.
"I think we are far enough!" A man on the deck shouted. "Get the boy!"
Erik heard clambering footsteps coming down the stairs, and his door was flung open. He put on his best fake worried face, and the man laughed and sneered. The man took a few coils of rope, and set to tying Erik's feet up. When he got to his arms and chest, he remembered a trick that was supposed to work, to get out of the ropes easily. He flexed his muscles. Doing this was making your body bigger, so when you relaxed, the ropes are loose. He didn't need it that much, but he wanted to get out quicker.
The man finished tying Erik up, and heaved him over his shoulder again. He walked up the stairs and onto the main deck, setting Erik down next to the rails. All of the men came out to watch, when one called and said they were going to throw him over.
That's so vile, Erik thought, but almost smiling at the same time.
The leader of the gang came over to him, and Erik quickly flexed again, as the man tugged at his ropes.
"Ah, good nice an tight," he cackled. "You'll never get out of these boy."
"Bet this'll teach you not to snoop," another called out. "But oh wait, you'll never get the chance, because YOU'LL BE DEAD." he roared, a crooked smile forming on his face, with everyone laughing along.
"Shut up," the leader said, "let's get this done with, who wants to see!?"
Everyone roared yes , and he picked up Erik, waving him around as if he was a trophy. He dangled him over the edge, and whispered, "bye bye," and dropped him. Erik hit the water with a splash, but he wasn't worried. He took a deep breath of the water. He could see the maniacal faces of the crew on the ship as he sank lower. As soon as he was sure they couldn't see him, he relaxed his muscles, making the ropes loose. With some effort, he got his hands free and managed to slip the ropes off the top of his body off. The ropes around his legs were tight, but he undid the knot and slipped them off. The ropes floated to the surface. He swam up, just below the surface, and there was the ship, with the men's confused faces, pointing at the ropes.
"He must have gotten free!" One yelled.
"Yes, that little brat." Another said in a nasty tone.
"He can't stay under for much longer," the leader said, more calmly. "When he comes up, we'll just shoot him." He took a pistol from his pocket and swirled on his fingers, as if anticipating it.
"Well, I'm right here," Erik said boldly, poking his head out of the water.
"Just wanting to die boy??" The leader said pointing his gun at Erik . "I though you'd swim away, but apparently you're to dumb, and just came right back." The pistol clicked as he pulled the trigger . Erik flicked his hand, and a burst of water came up, stopping the bullet from hitting him. The man dropped his gun, and it hit the water with a splash, as a look of horror came across his face.
"No... What..." he gasped.
"To late," Erik said flatly. Raising his hands above his head, a massive wave formed, and it crashed onto the boat, making it start to dip. The crew was screaming and shouting frantically, running around the boat. He kept at it, making more waves crash onto the boat. To end it, he raised both his hands, and a massive wave formed on either side of the boat. The sky got suddenly darker, as he slapped his hands together, and the waves hit the boat with amazing force and speed. It has gave a tremendous sound; splintering, cracking and groaning, as the ship really did, it groaned as it cracked and splintered into pieces, in a matter of seconds. Wood scattered everywhere on the water's surface, as the ship completely disappeared under the surface.
The screams the ship's crew were making, were now gone.
