This was mingis response to his sudden depleting staff numbers. He pinned it up onto the window by the register and hoped someone passing by would be interested.

There was only a few members of staff left and mingi loved this business with his entire heart and he didn't want to see it go down so suddenly.

Are his only remaining staff there used to be loads, about three servers per average family taking shifts. The older two seonghwa and hongjoong were more like the owners as mingi struggled to make most ideas happen as he always overestimated himself and the resources he can gather with the funds his bakery gives him. So they controlled the financial side of the shop.

Mingi was in charge of everything else.
Wooyoung was in charge of music as he was the best Baker besides seonghwa and had the best music taste even though he abuses his power by blasting bts every hour of the day but after a bit of scolding from the others he adds a range of soothing music and instrumentals.

But that wasn't a problem, the problem was that no matter who mingi hired they always end up quiting within a week and it's stressing him up badly that he can't even find his escape in trying new and awful recipes. Alongside his families favourites. The stress got so bad that he couldn't leave his office for a week to find out a way to go by looking Iver every applicant he's been given but ultimately been turned down as they had found new places to go as he had stretched it too wrong.

He'd go home and collapse on his bed and burst into tears. He just wanted one person to apply so he could at least feel somewhat better but a month past and no one applied

He felt so guilty calling in the others on their days off and eating up their spare time.

"mingi ya it's fine, we can cope for now, one day someone will apply" his hongjoongie hyung spoke through the speaker of his phone after mingi had called him into work as today was a more rushed day. Mingi was close to tears as he watched seonghwa get overwhelmed with the amount of customers. His arms ached for all the mixing and baking he had done and Wooyoung went home with a family emergency. Hongjoong was the last one available as he was the only staff left.

"but hyung its your day off...." mingi whispered. "I don't want to stress you out" he added a little louder.

"mingi really I don't mind I love to work since it keeps me occupied from my thoughts. But if your really upset I can ask my friends to help out they're your age and ones younger but no promises." hongjoong spoke and mingi shook his head even though he was on the phone.
" I can't do that to them, I don't want someone to work without being paid. It's selfish if I they help out and get nothing in return "he muttered and hongjoong sighed.

" alright but the offers always there I can get there in ten minutes can you hold out till then? "hongjoong asked and mingi nodded even though hongjoong couldn't see it.
" yes hyung thank you "he muttered and they said their goodbyes before ending the call.

" Seonghwa! We have to hold out for ten minutes. " mingi said and seonghwa sighed he was sweating from running back and forth.

" alright" he called back and mingi returned to the kitchen to start on the decorating.

He hastily did them but till a decent standard and although he was exhausted he kept the inventory updated. When he had finished the cakes he placed them into the shelf and storage glass and people could just call seonghwa to ask for a piece and they'd pay before they leave. All their customers were trustworthy to pay afterwards and even if they weren't they wouldn't get far as they had to press a button to order so it goes onto the registry and it holds the info if it's paid or not. Obviously some customers pay before they eat so it's better for them.

Hongjoong arrived quickly and instantly set out to the changing rooms and changed taking half the load off of seonghwa and mingi instantly.

So as more time passed and more disrupted days off and wasted time and money mingi finally felt relief when he got applications for the open spots.

Six people had applied two of which he recognised as San and jongho hongjoongs friend and Wooyoungs boyfriend (San) he didn't mind as he needed all the help he could get but the last he didn't know, the boy looked young maybe his age and it showed with his soft looking face. He read through the file and was happy with what he saw. He gave a ring to the boy and invited him for an interview, he hired San and jongho on bias of his staff as he trusted them but the two wanted to go through it properly with an interview.

So he invited them on the same day as the other boy. He went home more relaxed and a little excited.

The day of the interviews came and Mingi was suprised to see the boy before he even opened the shop.

"oh!" he said startled as he turned the corner almost bumping into his larger frame. The boy awkwardly smiled and shifted his feet.

"why are you so early I haven't even opened up yet?" he asked the boy who smiled awkwardly.
"I live quite far and I'm moving here soon I just needed a job to pay for at least a month's rent, I came early because I hate being late to things and if I didn't arrive this early I wouldn't be here until late afternoon as I'm a heavy procrastinator and worrier. " the boy said and mingi nodded before shifting his glasses up and moving to open the door. He was almost the same height as the boy and he smiled.

" well feel free to have a seat your interview isn't until 12 so you can come back then or hang around for a bit" mingi said as he checked his stores clock. The boy just smiled and nodded.

"ill stay its only a few hours anyway" he said.
"it's yunho right?" mingi asked for clarification.

"oh yes it is" the boy replied and mingi nodded.
"do you want a drink?" mingi asked and yunho thanked him.
"ill have a caramel machaito if you do them." mingi nodded and started making it.

Silence followed as the boy eyed the place and mingi brought over his drink.
"enjoy!" mingi cheerily replied and yunho giggled.
"thank you" he answered and smiled brightly. The two sat in silence until mingi decided he should get ready for the day.

The first few customers entered and he greeted them and gave them their orders and they paid before they sat down he thanked them and moved onto to setting down the tables and chairs as most had been upturned yesterday lazily by someone, he assumed it was wooyiung as hes the omly other person to have a spare jey as hongjoong has too many.

Yunho stayed sat watching him move about and tried to memorise the layout of the place when he hopefully gets the job. As he watched the male move around he noticed a few winces as the tables.

"Whats wrong?" He asked as an ouch came from mingi.

"I just cut myself no biggie" mingi said clenching his finger to stop the bleeding. His hands had small scratches from the tables. Yunho sighed and nodded.

"Do you want to do your interview now?" Mingi asked and yungo hesitated before nodding.

"Alright well do it here " mingi said joining yunho ar his table.
He started asking questions about experience what he wants out of it before hiring him.
Yunho iffered to start immediately seeing the store start to fill up and there was only mingi working currently. Mingi seemed relieved and nodded.

So together they pulled through the day until wooyoung and hongoong came and mingi left to interview san and the other one he couldnt remember at the top of his head.

After the rush hour was gone mingi and everyone got to relax. However mingi couldnt keep his eyes off of the tallest male in his store. The way he moved around the tables gracefully as if he had been doing this for his entire life captured his attention. He started spacing out almost burning the cake he was making if it wasnt for wooyoung to snap him out of it .

"Mingi yah!!!!" Wooyoung yelled angrily. Mingi shook his head and blushed in embarrasment.
"Sorry!" He replied and wooyoung scoffed and rolled his eyes, which mingi let him get a way with as he was his best friend.

It was almost time for mingis fabourite emoyee to arrive , they always had a chat and he felt like a son to the male with the motherly tone of voice he uses daily.

San and jongho had gotten the job quite easily and were the only ones besides yunho who managed to get hired they wouldnt be working till later the last three had no chance with their stuck up and rough personality.

Seonghwa walked through the door just as mingi spaced out staring at yunho again. Seonghwa chuckled and rolled his eyes.

"Mingi your staring" seonghwa chcukled and snapped mingi out of his trance. Mingi blushed and scurried further from the front and towards the back of the kitchen which had more ovens and utensils they need to stock up on cake. Whatever isnt sold is separated between the last patrons and staff for free.

"You should first try to befriend him and see if you get anywhere, dont let him distract you otherwise I might have to fire you" deonghwa teased and mingi scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"Im the owner you cant fire me."mingi said and seonghwa chuckled while wooyoung giggled.

"But he can ground you hes the mom" wooyoung teased and seonghwa heartily laughed.

"Whatever " mingi grumbled and moved onto the cake he was decorating.

This was going to be hard for him.
