I UPDATED ON TIME
Uhhh prepare for a lot of time skips
Barely edited. Please help
^ the reason why I say this often is cause I proofread these right before I go to bed. So I'm all tired and lazy and I'm prolly having a lot of grammar and spelling errors.

"Please be nice..." I whispered. I slowly brought the seeds closer to Bertha. Ms. Rose told me to hand feed her for the first few seconds to coax her into eating, but there was no way I was going to put my hand close to her mouth. She definitely wanted to kill me. The chicken may seem nice and innocent, but I swear if I didn't lock my door at night, she'd eat me in my sleep.
"Nice chicken... Nice chicken." I slowly poured the seeds into a pile in front of her. She tilted her head, and pecked my hand.
"OUCH!" I jerked my hand away. "Son of a creeper!" I pressed the bite into my shirt to stop the slight pain. When it went away a few seconds later, I glared at the chicken, who was looking at me with her head still tilted. "You're lucky I can't fry you up."
She clucked at me loudly, and stood up. I yelped and moved back a few steps.
"Getting beaten up by Bertha, I presume?" Ms. Rose shut the door behind me, making me jump.
My face reddened. "No."
She chuckled. "She can be a wild one. However, you're being a baby."
I jolted my head back. I did not expect her to insult me like that. "Did you just insult me?"
"I believe you kids call it a roast."
I just got roasted by an old lady. Harsh.
"I just didn't see her coming." I defended myself.
She raised an eyebrow. "A big guy like you?" Ms. Rose tutted. "Maybe you need to train some. Become a better warrior."
"Okay." I pushed my hands down. "Okay. I didn't know this was pick-on-Sky Day. And I'm a good warrior."
She shrugged. "Very well. Maybe you can go have someone train you."
"There's someone that can do that?" I asked, eyebrows raised.
"Of course." She said. "Why don't you go ask Amber about it? I'm sure she'd love to help."
I narrowed my eyes. "Okay." I walked toward the door. "Goodbye then."
When I shut the door and walked outside, I gave a weird look and shrugged. Then, I went to Amber's.

"Yeah, there are good trainers here." Amber answered, sitting on the fountain's side.
"Really?" I was shocked. "Where?"
"Anywhere in the town. We have some good archers, swordsmen, miners-" She laughed, "-although, I'm the best."
"Mhm." I smirked at her. I looked around at all the people around us. They all seemed to be doing their own thing, not minding two teenagers near the fountain in the middle of the town.
I was honestly wondering when they were going to prepare for the party. I'm not saying I was expecting anything big, but I was wondering.
"Hey. When is the party again?" I asked.
"In a few hours. Why?"
"Just wondering." I shrugged. "Is it like a big thing?"
"It usually is." She stared at me, then a smile slowly formed. "Is a certain someone wanting it to be a big deal?"
"A certain someone is just wondering how fast a village can prep a party." I said in the same way she did. "Without trying to sound impatient or selfish."
"What do you mean by how fast...?" She looked around. "Ohhhhh." She laughed. "Oh my gods that's great. I can't believe you don't know yet."
"What don't I know?"
"I mean I guess you wouldn't know, but that's still hilarious."
"What's hilarious?"
She winked. "You'll see later at the party."
I narrowed my eyes.
Amber took out a gold nugget. She turned away from the water, closed her eyes, waited a few seconds, and flipped the nugget over her head into the water. It landed with a kerplunk.
"What did you wish for?" I asked innocently.
She shook her head. "If you tell a wish to someone, it won't come true."
I put my hands up in surrender. "Okay. I see how it is."
She laughed, and pulled out another gold nugget. She tossed it to me. I barely caught it. She then said, "Your turn."
I did the same thing as her, turning away from the fountain and closing my eyes.
I wish... I wish...
What should I wish for? That I would have a good life.
"Hurry up." Amber coughed.
I shushed her.
I wish that this life will turn out fun and exciting. I plainly thought. Then, I tossed the nugget over my head. I turned quickly to see it land in the water.
"'I wish I was better at life." She mocked my deeper voice.
My jaw dropped. "That's offensive. I do not sound like that."
Amber laughed. "Yes you do!"
I laughed along. Then, I stopped. "Wait, do I really?"

It was time for the party. And nothing was done in the town.
I looked out my bedroom window, pursing my lips. It was going to be night soon. There was hardly anyone in the town.
"Sky!"
I turned and saw Ms. Rose in my doorway. Wow, that lady liked to sneak up on me.
"What are you doing here?" She asked. "You should be at the party!"
"What party?" I answered her question with another, gesturing to outside the window.
She smiled. "Ah, yes. Amber didn't tell you, did she?"
I frowned. "Tell me what?"
From below, a knock was heard.
"Oh, that must be her!" Ms. Rose exclaimed, and rushed to the stairs.
I ran after her. "Don't hurt yourself!"
She quickly went down the stairs, me closely following. The old lady made it to the door before I even got down the steps. She was quick when she wanted to be.
"Hi Amber!" Ms. Rose said after she opened the door.
Amber stepped in the doorway. "Hi Ms. Rose. You're looking well tonight. Coming to the party?"
"Of course I am. I'm just going to be a little bit. You two kids go on ahead, though."
Amber nodded. "Okay. Come on, Sky."
"Bye!" I waved to Ms. Rose, and shut the door.
"Is it inside a house or something?" I looked around.
She laughed at me.
"Okay what is this big secret that no one will tell me?" I exclaimed, waving my hands around.
"Follow." She started walking away. I followed, muttering about secrets being kept.
When I looked up again, I saw we were heading toward the side of a mountain, where the set of stairs were.
Amber stepped onto the stone staircase, and started walking up.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"Just shut up, okay?"
"Rude."
When we made it to the top, I turned to Amber. "Okay, so what's the big deal?"
She laughed again. "Did you really think that this was all the town was?" She waved at all the houses, then shook her head. Amber then turned me so I was facing out of the town. Into...
The town.
There were multiple mountains, with at least a hundred wooden and stone buildings jutting out of them. There was a big valley that was a perfect bowl shape, surrounded by buildings on the ground with a bunch of people and lights everywhere. There were bridges connecting each mountain top and some leading down to the ground, even a bridge from where we were standing. It was like a bigger version of Hidenburg, spread out to more mountains and hills. The whole town was at least five times bigger than I thought.
"Honestly," Amber said, "have a little more faith in them."

I grabbed the sword hilt, and swung at their head. The zombie's skull popped off as the sword sliced through like butter. I turned and jabbed at the other zombie that tried to sneak up on me. An arrow whizzed by.
When I turned around, I saw a skeleton coming toward me. I quickly ducked under the next projectile, and came up, smashing my sword hilt under the skeleton's chin. His head snapped back, stuck permanently in the position of looking straight up. I smiled as he blindly walked around, trying to find me. To put him out of his misery, I sliced my sword through his ribs. They shattered, and he broke apart.
I heard a hiss, and jumped forward. The creeper exploded behind me, and shot me even further. I fell to the ground, but quickly got up as more mobs surrounded me. There were too many to handle at the moment, as I was too low to fight them all. I ran back to the house, killing a zombie on the way.
Then, there was a mini zombie running toward me. I sighed, and held out my foot. The mini zombie pressed its forehead against my foot, pushing and trying to swipe at me. It was completely oblivious of the fact that it could hit my leg easily. The situation was funny, yet pitiful. It was like trying to fight a 5 year old. Why was everyone so afraid of them?
I kicked it down and continued to run.
After I got inside, I shut the door. The horde of zombies, skeletons, creepers, and spiders were slowly coming closer. However, they weren't going to be able to get to me.
I sighed, and took off my diamond helmet. I was getting better. However, it wasn't good enough. I should've heard that creeper coming. I also noticed a few fatal flaws, like when I didn't look around to see where the other mobs were. I just focused on the monster in front of me, and planned on taking them out one by one. However, that was a bad decision. It could have costed me my life. And I liked my life. It was a nice life. Well, before all that junk happened, with waking up in the nether and killing a man and everything.
The spiders at the windows hissed. I pointed my sword at them, then put it away and climbed up the stairs. My limbs felt a little sore as I went up.
When I reached the bedroom, I collapsed on the bed, too tired to feel awkward about it. It was definitely after midnight. I had spent the whole day training in the room (I disabled the arrow trap). When I was on my breaks, I either ate or searched for signs of a map or traces of a town visit.
And I found it.
There was a map in one of his chests. It was of the surrounding area, too small to have my house location on it. However, it did say that a small town was up north further on the plains. I could go there and find out where I actually was.
So I went to bed satisfied.

The next morning, I headed out for the town. I had on only a diamond chestplate, and kept the rest of my armor in my inventory. I also had my diamond sword, some blocks, some steak, the map, and an iron pickaxe. No bow. I was not a good archer.
I wished the guy had a horse I could've rode. Or even a saddle. I could've saddled up a pig.
However, I had no choice but to just walk across the plains. Luckily there were no mobs, or other hostile people that could've snuck up on me. There weren't even many cave systems in the ground that they could pop out of.
There wasn't much scenery either. It was a giant flat landscape, with some small hills. Animals grazed, flowers bloomed. It was quite a peaceful and relaxing place.
Eventually, I saw some buildings in the distance. I was excited to finally get there after about an hour of walking, but I first took a break. I sat down, pulled out some steak, and ate a quick brunch. A sheep walked over and started eating some grass. I stared at it. It looked up and stared at me. Then, we both went back to minding our own business.
I got up a little bit later, and started walking to the town. As I got closer, I saw many wood buildings that didn't reach above four stories. It seemed like it was either run down, or it was a new town. Either way, not many people were there, and it was pretty small. There was an archway, but no name on it. There was no fence or anything to protect them.
I wasn't so surprised that the killer settled near a town like that. It was small, so word must not have gotten around much.
I walked under the gate into the town. Shady-looking people going through the gravel streets looked at me, but when I looked back, they turned away. A guy leaning a wall of a three story spruce wood building stared at my diamond chestplate as if he was going to steal it from me. I made sure my sword was easily accessible.
I went around the town for a good few minutes, but didn't see any library or nice place that could help me. The only things I could find were buildings that weren't labelled, and people that didn't look friendly.
I sighed, and turned around to leave. However, a woman stood in my way.
"Hi there." The blonde haired brown eyed girl said to me. She wore a faded red shirt and old jeans with holes in them. She had freckles and dimples. She actually looked around my age, if not a little younger. "You don't look like you're from around here."
"What gave it away?" I asked.
"Well." She sized me up. "I wouldn't wear armor that's that fancy around here. Also, black absorbs sunlight, so not many people wear that. Wow, you must be feeling hot."
"I don't mind the heat." I answered simply. Then, I admitted, "No, I'm not from here. I just need a wide-spreading map to tell me where to go, and I'll leave."
"Oh." She frowned. "Well if you want to leave so soon, then go talk to Ernie in the bar. He has a map at his place."
"What does Ernie look like? And where is the bar?"
"Just ask the bartender. Also, it's that building right there." She pointed to a two story, long building. "Yeah, just ask Ernie and he'll take you to his house at the corner on the left side, where the map-"
"Thank you." I walked past her.
"No problem! I've been in this town for most- oh you're gone."
I went over to the oak wood building. I walked through the fence door, expecting a typical western saloon. However, it wasn't as cliche. There was a bar in the back, with a few guys on the seats in front of it. In front of me were a bunch of round tables, where some people sat. In the back left corner, there was a set of stairs heading up, and a jukebox next to it playing some piano music. In front of the jukebox were some guys talking. The floor was dark oak wood, as was the ceiling. Okay maybe it was a little cliche.
I slowly walked toward the back. No one gave me a death glare or even a stare like I expected.
I stopped in front of the bar.
"Can I get you anything?" The middle aged, balding bartender asked.
"Can you show me where Ernie is?" I kept my voice low.
He answered hesitantly, "He's in the back." He jutted his head toward an old man who was sitting in the back alone. Of course.
I nodded as a thank you, and walked over to the man. He was the most cliche thing about this place: blue plaid shirt, cowboy hat, grouchy yet mysterious looking. He had a sick gray mustache, though.
"You Ernie?" I sat down across from him.
"Depends on who's asking." He said in a deep voice.
I wanted to sigh. Nevertheless, I simply answered, "just an out-of-town boy that wants to see a map so he can leave."
Ernie narrowed his eyes at me. "Out of town, you say? What kind of situation did ya get yourself into where you don't even know where you are?"
"It's a long story." I eventually sighed.
"I got time." He kicked his boots up on the table.
I didn't trust the guy at all. I wasn't planning on telling him anything that happened. So I simply summed up, "I got lost in the nether and wound up around here. Nothing too sketchy or serious."
He took a while to stare at me. Then, he slammed his hand down on the table.
I immediately jumped up as a few guys from the other tables got up and started to close in on me slowly. They pulled out stone swords, one with a stone axe.
"I want the truth," Ernie said from behind me, "and I want to know now."
I looked at the guys. They were all tough looking. Big, muscular; I could probably take out one before I got my face smashed in.
I took a deep breath and opened my mouth as if I was about to answer. Then, I leapt to the left and ran to the stairs.

Okay so let me say something before I move on:
These guys are not in the same time at the moment. Lily is on the third day (or is it the second? Idk I skimmed through the previous chapters and idk someone can do it for me), Sky and Amber are on the second night, and Cole is on the third day. I'd love to make them all be on the same timeline, and they will soon, but for now it'll be like this.
So guys. What do you think is gon happen at the party? And what did Cole get himself into? Gosh, that boy is such a troublemaker.
Rock on, my little rebels.
