Adam groaned as he felt a small bump forming on the back of his head while he managed to get up. He wasn't hurt, except that small dizzy feeling he had. He groggily looked around his surroundings as he realized something. They were in a classroom, a dim one to be exact. He frowned as he saw who had accompanied him along the way. It was none other than Ty, who was laying directly to the right of him, his face facing his'. Adam let out a small shriek and got up as quick as a flash, while looking down at Ty. He can't be dead, or can he?

Adam let out a small sigh and got down on his knees, examining Ty closely. Ty's long, brown strands of hair were on his face, while his headset was gone, probably from the fall. Adam's eyes widened as he remembered what had happened. Earthquake, destruction, falling. That's all that he could recall. Shit, where are we? Adam thought to himself as he looked around. Adam then heard a small groan, which caught his attention. He looked down at Ty, who had his hand on his head as he opened an eye, "Where the fuck am I?"

Letting out a sigh of relief, Adam smiled softly down at Ty, "Well sleeping beauty, did you sleep well?"

"Fuck you." Ty groaned as he got up. "And just to answer your question, no, I didn't sleep well, I feel awful."

Adam frowned and looked around the classroom once more, "I guess you're not the only one. . ."

Ty raised an eyebrow at Adam, "You think? All I remember was. . ." Adam frowned as Ty's eyes widened in realization.

"It took me a while to figure it out too. . ." Adam added.

"Oh and uh, you have a bit of uh, drool on your mouth." Ty said softly, his voice barely audible.

Adam raised an eyebrow and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, "Anyway, we're in a school obviously, but, where? The same one?"

Ty frowned and crossed his arms in thought, "No, it's obviously not that, do you think, we're in the basement?"

"A classroom in a basement? Very unlikely if you ask me. . ." Adam answered, looking around the classroom until he decided to leave the room itself.

"Wh-Where are you going?" Ty asked, giving Adam a puzzled look as Adam opened the classroom door. Adam couldn't help but feel that after the sudden change of setting, Ty was somehow acting a bit, different, not beyond his normal self but, a bit more edgy.

"I'm going to check what's going on, because I have absolutely NO idea." Adam replied. Once Adam took a step out, he gaped at the sudden mess. The hall was a pigsty, it was much worse than the room they were just in.

"A-Adam?"

"What?" Adam talked back, looking over his shoulder and back at Ty.

"I found something, shiny." Ty replied.

"Shiny?" Adam asked, turning back to the room, curious about Ty's finding. Ty was at the other end of the room, his eyes focused on the object he was holding in his hand.

"Yeah, it's a key of some sort." Ty explained while walking towards Adam. He held out a silver key, which had a paper attached to it reading, 'Lab'.

"Lab? So, it's the key to a science lab?" Adam asked.

Ty examined the key and shrugged, "I think so. I think we'll be needing it in the future."

"Yeah, hold onto it, ok?" Adam said, and Ty nodded while putting the key in his back pocket. The two friends then continued off out into the messed up hall.

"Damn, it looks like a mini tornado hit here and fucked up everything, twice." Ty muttered to himself, but Adam could easily hear it, but it turned out a bit muffled because of the creaking of the loose floorboards.

"Hey look, how convenient, a floorboard over a large gap." Ty noted as he pointed over at a large crack that separated them from going to the other side, the only exception was the loose floorboard.

"Well, what the hell are we waiting for? Let's cross it." Adam announced as he walked over towards the large gap.

"Wait, Adam!" Ty shouted.

"What? Is something wrong?" Adam asked.

"What if the uh, if the floorboard snaps? It looks kind of unsafe. . ." Ty said, giving the floorboard an unsure look.

Adam sighed and raised his eyebrow at Ty, "Ty, if the floorboard was unsafe, then why does it look like someone crossed it?"

"Wait, what?" Ty asked.

"Look at it!" Adam said, bending down and looking at the floorboard intently, and suddenly grasping at something and holding out a small speck of brown, fluffy fur, "See? Hair."

"Fur! And it's brown!" Ty exclaimed in surprise. He looked at Adam and said, "If it's brown, it must be. . ."

"Jerome's!"

"A mustache hair's!"

Ty blinked at Adam, ". . .Did you just say a mustache hair?"

Adam blushed and he scratched the back of his neck, "Y-You probably heard wrong, because I totally said Jerome."

"O-Ok. . . Anyway, doesn't this mean that we're not alone?" Ty asked excitedly.

"Yeah! Hopefully, so that we can meet each other and whatnot!" Adam said, setting his foot on the plank, making Ty tense. Once he didn't hear anything wrong, he walked over to the other side.

Ty sighed in relief, and he glared at Adam, "Dude! Don't do that! You scared the living hell out of me!"

Adam shrugged, "Well, someone had to be the test monkey!"

"Ok ok. . ." Ty replied restlessly as he crossed the plank for himself.

"See? That wasn't that bad now was it?" Adam asked as he smirked and walked off towards the large hallway of rooms. Adam couldn't help but feel a sudden dread of nervousness and cold. He looked around as if there were people behind him, other than Ty of course. Suddenly, in the corner of his eye, he saw a bright red flame, that seemed to stare right at him. Adam stopped in his tracks and looked over at where the flame was, praying silently to himself that there wasn't a fire, but there wasn't, because the thing that looked at him wasn't there.

"Adam, is something wrong?" Ty asked as he looked at Adam's surprised face.

"N-Nothing, I just thought that I saw something but, not really. . .I guess I'm just imagining things." Adam answered while shaking his head abruptly. Adam then faced a classroom reading, 'Lab'.

"So, this is it?" Ty asked, taking out the key from his back pocket.

"Yeah. . .Unlock it." Adam said as he took a step back, letting Ty get through. Ty then approached the locked door, and used the key to unlock it.

"There. . .The deed's been done." Ty announced nervously as he turned the doorknob and took a hesitant look inside the new room. It was relatable to the past room they were in, but this one was a lot bigger including long, wooden tables with sinks.

Adam gulped, "So. . . This is it. It's just as shitty as the last one we were in. . ."

Ty frowned, "Adam, what the hell are we doing?"

Adam raised an eyebrow at Ty, "What do you mean?"

"I mean, what are we looking at here? Where should we go? Are we trying to escape or are we going to keep exploring and looking around like complete morons?" Ty asked agitatedly. Adam could tell how uneasy Ty was, and he was at least glad that they both shared the same confusion.

"We keep looking around of course! Not like morons but. . . You get my point. We should look around and find a way to escape." Adam answered, a hint of determination in his voice.

"What if there isn't?" Ty asked hesitantly.

"Well then. . . We keep trying."

All of a sudden, a large gush of wind blew, making the two friends tense. Adam then heard giggling, which made his eyes widen in surprise. "Adam, did you hear that?" Ty asked softly as he looked around in fright.

"Yeah, it sounded like-" But Adam was cut off by the wind again, as it blew into the room they were going to enter. Adam and Ty looked at each other curiously, and they both proceeded towards the awful room. All of a sudden, Adam could smell an awful smell coming from within, which made him stop in his tracks from entering any further.

"Fuck, it smells awful in here. It's as if they stuffed a pack of rotting zombies in here." Ty whined as he winced at the smell.

"Shit, and we don't have any weapons. I definitely don't want to run into them." Adam remarked as he cautiously looked deeper into the room. Adam's attention turned to the unoccupied tables, which to his surprise, had a small piece of paper with what looked like dye on it. "I guess it couldn't hurt to read it. . ." He muttered to himself as he picked it up.

Unluckily for him, the red dye smelled of flesh as well, but he tried avoiding it, and he started reading the note aloud, "Ate my hand today, it was frost bitten anyway, so I felt nothing. What would I know? All of my extra potatoes were gone before I could even remember if I had any at all. It felt crusty, and luckily, no blood gushed out, at least, not a lot. I covered my wrist with my shirt, since it was all I could use to help it stop bleeding, although I'm cold as fuck, so I had to tear some of the shirt off. Same goes for my glasses, I lost them when I was running away from a stupid ghost. The only thing I remember about them is that I left them at the Science Lab. Fuck, some of the paper got covered in blood, oh well. It's not like anyone is going to read this anyway. Well, I've got to keep moving, for what? No idea. Shit, I heard something. Might as well pester them or the big, retarded guy and fuck with him as my last "Fuck you" to the world. Sincerely, your unfriendly, random guy, T-" Adam couldn't read anymore, and he let go of the piece of paper, as it slowly drifted down to the floor. He ate his hand? Adam whimpered, but it sounded more like a gurgle to be honest, as he realized that the red dye was actually blood. Adam looked at his hands as he realized that the dark red liquid got on his hands, meaning that the blood wasn't dry.

"A-Adam. . ." Ty croaked as he walked up to his tense friend.

"What. . ."

"Read this." Ty said as his trembling hand gave Adam another piece of paper, which instead of being bloody, it was crinkled and old.

Adam got ahold of it carefully, and he read it aloud, paying no attention to Ty's reaction, "Heavenly Host Science Lab Rules, no-. . ." Realization cut him off once he widened his eyes in horror. They weren't at the regular high school anymore. They were in the damned Heavenly Host Elementary School.

"This has to be a joke, right? I-It has to be!" Ty cried. "It's just Mitch and Jerome kidding around right? They always do this shit. Please Adam, tell me it is!"

Adam continued to be silent, the feeling of dizziness falling into the same category as his confusion. They were both terrible. After a short while, Adam sighed and put his hands on his face, "I-It's not a joke Ty. . . Look around you! Does this actually look like a joke to you?!"

Ty sighed and bit his lip nervously. He took a step back, until Adam's eyes widened and he got ahold of Ty's arm while pulling him away from whatever he was about to step on. Ty had a perplexed look on his face at the unnecessary closeness both men were in, "Adam, what the hell was that for?"

"I didn't want you to step on. . ." Adam struggled to spit out his words, but he couldn't since there was fear lingering around his face which prohibited him from speaking clearly, "I-I didn't want you to step on that. . ."

Ty raised an eyebrow at Adam's remark, until he slowly turned his body to whatever Adam was nervously pointing at. His eyes widened as he saw a rotting hand that he almost stepped on. "What the FUCK?!" Ty yelled out as he bumped into Adam as he tried to back away from the misshapen hand.

"So that's the hand that the guy was talking about. . . I guess he didn't have the guts to finish it. . ." Adam muttered.

"So some guy ate his hand?!" Ty asked uneasily.

"I guess so. . . Well. . . partially." Adam added as he walked around the hand, he didn't want to waste his time staring at a lifeless hand. Adam looked around the tables, until he turned a corner spotted what he didn't expect to find. A body. He stopped right in his tracks and stared at it in surprise. The boy, Adam could tell it was a male from his facial features, was lying against the wall, with his skull split in half, which Adam could tell that something hard must have hit him, while his face had a surprised look and his mouth and lips had dried blood on them, which trailed down to his checkered, red shirt which had a piece of cloth missing. Adam looked down at the boy's remaining hand, which was clutching a pen.

"What was his name?"

Adam tensed and turned his head to his left. He hadn't realized that Ty was standing right next to him. "I don't know. . . At least, not yet."

Ty let out a tsk as he slowly approached the body. After a mere second, Adam trailed after him, and they both got a close look at the body. Ty frowned at the guy's remaining hand, and he bent down to retrieve the pen. Adam raised an eyebrow at Ty, "Really? You want the fucking pen?"

Ty shrugged, "Hey, we may need it in the future."

Adam sighed and he continued to examine it for anything important. Then, something black caught his eye. He turned his head towards the gleaming object, and to his surprise, it was a pair of black glasses, which had one cracked lense. Adam picked them up, and to make things even more interesting, the glasses had a tag attached to them, with a small drop of blood splattered on it. "Are those the guy's glasses?" Ty asked.

Adam nodded solemnly, "Yeah. . . It says 'MunchingBrotato a.k.a Tyler' on it."

"Oh. . . Poor Munching Potato. . ." Ty muttered.

"It's Munching Brotato, dumbass."

The two men's eyes widened in surprise as they realized that both of them hadn't said that. They turned over to where the voice came from, and sure enough, there was a large blue flame standing at the other hand of the table. Adam gulped and stared at the blue entity as it walked closer, while Ty was just flabbergasted. "Are you two just going to keep drooling, or are you going to try and find a way out? That's what you all do anyway. . ."

Adam shook his head and cleared his throat, "S-Sorry, uh, funny enough, my friend and I were-"

"Exploring and looking around, I get it." The blue flame interrupted, "You are all the same. Eh. Anyway. Help and advice is what you guys should expect from any of us, if you run into more of us, that is."

"Wait, there are more of you?" Ty asked.

"Well, yeah, but I guess you'll have to find out for yourselves. Only the luckiest get to be like me. Anyhow, let's not talk about me, let's talk about you. I can guess that you want to get out of here, am I right? Good. I don't need your answers because I'm special like that." The blue flame rambled. Adam and Ty just blinked at the flame's rambling.

The flame cleared it's throat, "Anyway, you get my point. It's important you know this, and remember this only. You guys may think you are alone, but you aren't. Other people, possibly your friends, are here as well. But you can't see them, because of these things called 'closed spaces'. You two are in your own little closed space."

"What about you? Are you trapped in here with us in our 'closed space'." Adam asked curiously.

"Me? Oh no, I'm not like you. Unlike you, I'm not "alive". Anyway, there are some things I want you to be cautious of. There are, spirits, other than me, evil ones that is, that are running around here right at this very moment, and they're not really good things to come across. Avoid them at all costs, because you'll end up. . . you'll end up like me, or worse." The flame answered. Adam knew this flame was a talker, but it was for the best if they wanted information about a place like this one.

"Evil spirits? How many of those are there?" Ty asked nervously.

"A few, but the one that you may want to keep away from, is the big guy, that dude carries around a hammer, and I'm sure he isn't afraid to bash it against anything-no, anyONE he sees. So I'd run away if I were you. . . Although. . . I guess I broke that rule. . ." The blue flame stopped talking for once, and it looked down at the floor.

Adam frowned, "Wait, your way of speaking seems familiar. . . Are you perhaps, Tyler?"

The blue flamed blinked and Tyler's appearance formed, but instead of it's horrid, rotten features, they were replaced with a real face and clothing. Adam smiled softly and took out the glasses and handed it to Tyler, "Here, I'm pretty sure you need these. I found them for ya'. . ."

Tyler took the glasses and ripped out the tag, handing it to Adam, "You know, you're not as stupid as the rest. Oh, and I'm giving you back the tag because it'll look like a price tag and it would seem like I stole them."

Adam let out a small chuckle and nodded, "I get it. . . Thank you, Tyler."

Tyler blinked, and he smiled softly, "No, thank you."

And with that, Tyler disappeared, leaving only Adam and Ty again. Adam frowned and walked towards the door, "I guess we should go now. . ."

Ty sighed and rubbed the back of his neck, "Adam, what if we end up like Tyler? What if we end up in a terrible situation? I. . . I don't think I can take it. . ."

"We'll make it through, the both of us, Ty, I'll make sure of it." Adam announced. But the problem was, he wasn't sure if he could do it. If both of them could do it, but he had to promise it aloud, for Ty, and for his own sanity, because he didn't want to lose it, at least, not yet.

"Promise me Adam, promise me we'll both make it out alive, the two of us, together. And don't shit around with me because I'm not in the mood for jokes." Ty said with a serious look on his face.

Adam gulped, but he confirmed his choice and nodded,

"I promise."
