Mob Trouble
Petra's POV
As we started to climb down the tree house's hole, Olivia yelped from the ground and starting firing her arrows around.
"What's going on down there?" I shouted from halfway down the hole.
"Mobs are starting to come out and they're not too happy about us being in their new 'hangout'."
As soon as I jumped down from the tree top I saw what Olivia was saying. Zombies, spiders, skeletons, and creepers were spawning and we're coming our way looking more hostile than they usually do.
"Everyone to the horses! Go. Go. Go!" J commanded while fighting off a zombie that had gotten too close.
"Back to town!" I yelled while helping Olivia mount on my horse with me. As soon as we all got on we rode off in the direction of the town gates. As the horses neighed while trying to dodge witch potions, I remembered the time I rode a horse while trying to escape the witherstorm...
Flashback
The Formidi-Bomb failed to destroy the command block but it managed to split the witherstorm into three individuals and was raging more than ever.
As everyone was running from the storms, I searched past the fleeing people, from behind a large rock formation, for any signs of Jesse or Reuben since they had gone further into the witherstorm remains to help people out. As I didn't see them I started to worry that something had happened to her and I couldn't help because of my withersickness. Just as I put my head down thinking the worst had happened to them, I heard Jesse asking if everyone was okay and Lukas saying 'Gabriel' and when I looked back up, sure enough, I saw a very worried Jesse and what looked like a traumatized Gabriel with red eyes. Suddenly, a purple ray passed over us and ripped the formation out of the ground as Jesse yelled for all of us to move. I needed to go faster but I couldn't, so Axel tried to help me as best as he could. After a few minutes, Jesse was able to spot some horses and when everyone was getting on, Gabriel and I were left and Jesse chose to take me while Lukas took Gabriel.
As the horses began to pick up speeds, unfortunately Jesse's control over it didn't improve so I snapped at her, asking if she was trying to knock me off until she responded that it was her first time in a horse and began to dodge obstacles at the last second. I was still giving her a hard time when the bridge we were about to cross was destroyed and Jesse almost looked straight at an enderman. Lukas was shouting for her to look out when the enderman tore a block off the storm and we escaped while we had a chance...
Back to the Present
(still Petra's POV)
We were riding through the town's gates, which were suspiciously open, when the gates stayed open instead of closing, allowing mobs to storm into town while people were screaming and racing around trying to take cover.
Lukas' POV
Jesse and I had finally finished the scrapbook when I heard someone screaming and Jesse looked up from wrapping the book glancing outside where we saw a woman trying to fight off a creeper. We rushed outside to help her, only to be overwhelmed by tons of mobs invading the town.
"What's happening?" Jesse asked the lady we had just helped.
"The gates are malfunctioning so instead of closing by night it jammed and now mobs are attacking us!"
Jesse and I spotted the other Order members, and Ivor, running around, helping people and called them over so they could make a plan. Fortunately, As usual, Jesse already had a plan of action.
"Axel, Petra, Ivor, fight and kill all the mobs you can, Olivia, go and try to fix the gate controls to prevent more mobs from coming in, and Lukas, J, and I will lead all the people to safety." Jesse devised and we all got to our assignments.
3rd Person POV
Axel and Petra fought off all the mobs they saw with TNT blasts and warrior slashes after Ivor slowed and poisoned them, Olivia fixed the Redstone repeater and daylight sensor that got disconnected, after skewering several skeletons, and Lukas, J, and Jesse defended the citizens while leading them away from the mob sieges.
Time Skip
After all the mobs had been killed and the gate repaired, Jesse assured the citizens that all was well and everyone left to go home since night had fallen. After the meeting had concluded, Jesse called the Order members together.
"Where were you guys all day, I've been worried sick?" Jesse demanded to know while looking at the others.
"We were... out doing nothing unusual..." J lied not too subtly.
"Really bro?" Jesse moaned while crossing her arms, "You do know you're really bad at lying?"
"Leave him alone Jesse, it was supposed to be a surprise but things went a little south." Petra countered while looking slightly annoyed.
"All I can say is you could've at least said you were going somewhere so I didn't have to be nervous all this time."
"To be fair, we were in kind of a hurry so you wouldn't notice that we left." Olivia objected.
"Just, please, next time let me know if you're heading somewhere so that I don't have to wonder where you guys are all the time." Jesse pleaded while looking exhausted.
"We promise"
"Now can we please get to sleep since it's Christmas tomorrow?" J begged.
"Sure thing bro"
