A/N- This chapter will feature how Jesse met J, Axel, and Olivia at their first Endercon, how the ocelots became their rivals, and, even, how Petra got into dealing.

Flashback
3rd Person POV
"I can't wait for the building contest!" Younger Jesse thought while zigzagging through people trying to get to the building contest sign up desk with a small pig trailing behind her, struggling to keep up. Meanwhile, J, Axel, and Olivia were heading to the desk as well, far behind Jesse.
"I can't believe we're finally old enough to enter the Endercon building contest!" J exclaimed.

"Calm down J, we haven't even entered the contest yet," Olivia mentioned, " And besides someone else could have better ideas than our build."

"Don't be such a downer Olivia." Axel groaned while watching other people around them.

"Hey what's going on over there," J pointed out at the sign up desk where Jesse was having trouble.

"What do mean I can't sign up?" Jesse echoed from the lady at the desk.

"I'm sorry sweetie but you have to have a team to enter the contest"

"But Reuben is my team!"

"I'm afraid barnyard animals don't count as a team or even a team member."

"Hey Reuben is my friend!"

"She's apart of our team", a voice from behind them came. Jesse turned around to see a girl and two boys walking toward her.

"Ok then you are all a team, now please enter your names here." The lady asked while pointing to a space in the sign up sheet. They all entered their names in and went inside the building area.

"What's your name?" J asked

"My name's Jesse and this is my friend friend, Reuben." Jesse replied shyly while looking at the ground.

"You don't have to be afraid of us, we just wanted to help you after that lady was giving you a hard time," Olivia revealed, "I'm Olivia and this is J and Axel."

"Hey!"

"Sup dude?"

"Hey it looks like the nerd joined up with the losers!" someone shouted from one of the building pens(can you guess who?). The three kids turned out to see Aiden, Maya, Gill, and Lukas inside the pen with Aiden as the insult's source(was there any doubt?). Jesse knew Aiden and was scared of him so she ducked behind Olivia, shaking. 

All the kids had gone to a camp where they all learned basic lessons of survival, building, etc. but while J, Axel, and Olivia had met each other and played together the whole camp time, Jesse had stayed by a tree with Reuben at her side reading books. Eventually, Aiden, Maya, and Gill met Lukas and Aiden began to tease Jesse of her love of books by calling her a nerd.

"Back off Aiden! Leave Jesse alone!" J yelled at Aiden.

"Isn't that nice? The nerd is being defended by an animal and a loser" Maya retorted back while smirking at Reuben who was 'growling', trying to protect Jesse.

"Everyone at attention!" a voice from the loud speakers boomed," The building contest will begin in 10 minutes" At that moment a redheaded girl was walking through with some stone in hand when a contestant called her over and asked to buy some stone from her.
"You want to buy something from me?" Petra had asked puzzled.
"Yes, my team needs some for our build, and I'll give you 10 iron ingots for a stack of stone." the man offered.
"Deal!" Petra announced and handed over the stack of stone in her hand and received 10 iron ingots in return.
"Maybe I should do this more often." Petra thought as she pocketed her earnings while heading towards the bickering group.

"Leave her alone, so what if she likes to read a lot!"

"Well you're the ones who always lose everything and now she's with you!"

Insults were being tossed left and right, except for Jesse and Lukas who stayed quiet the whole time, until Petra came over and did a high pitched whistle, commanding everyone to stop fighting and to get to their building areas since the contest was about to start.

Back to the present
(Still) 3rd Person POV
"That day your team May have won the contest with your build but I 'won' some new friends." Jesse recalled.

"I think I still remember that day, Aiden wasn't always the nicest person to deal with" Lukas remarked while remembering his former teammate.

"But at least he and the other 'Blaze Rods' are able to start over in what's left of Sky City"

"Why did you end up sparing Aiden and the others when you could've had Isa arrest them?"

"If I did that to them, I would've been no better than Aiden." Jesse answered while finishing up her cookies.

"How did you and J find out you were twins?"

"Eventually someone from town who knew us somehow remembered us and told us we were related, although I should've figured it out sooner since we both kind of look alike despite our eyes and skin color."

"Do you know who your parents are?"

"Sadly, no, after J and I got separated somehow, we have no clue who our parents are and no one else seems to know."

"I'm so sorry." Lukas whispered while putting a hand on Jesse's shoulder. There was a moment of silence until Jesse stood up.

"We should get back to the book" Jesse mentioned while walking towards the scrapbook in progress laying on a wooden table.

"Ok, sure" Lukas agreed while joining her across the table.
