I sensed the light of the sun go straight at me, triggering me to open my eyes. I saw the morning rays shine directly at my eyes.

I expected myself above the clouds with a choir singing as I woke up.

But nah, there wasn't.

I let my feet touch the birch plank floor and sat up. Well, this is going to be just another day...

I looked around my room. It was made of quartz with black stained glass pane windows, with birch plank floors, a dresser made of dark oak with modern design, a mirror, a flat screen that hung on the wall, and everything else you see in a modern bedroom are present.

I grabbed my phone on the end table beside my bed and typed my phone password.

I looked at my notifications and saw Chestbook friend requests, but I ignored them, thinking that they were but just stalkers.

Yep, I have stalkers.

I checked my text messages. Nothing out of the ordinary...

I then heard my door bang and someone screamed, "HAPPY VALENTINES RAY!!!"

I jumped and nearly dropped my phone.

"Oh my Notch, Nev. Do you really have to bang on my door and scream? It's like, 6 am. You know that most of our neighbors wake up at 8 am, right?" I told her, still holding my phone.

"Oh, I thought you were still asleep..." Nev muttered awkwardly.

"Nice try getting me though," I commented.

"I thought you were a heavy-sleeper," Nev said.

"Who says that? Yes, I am a heavy-sleeper, but who says heavy-sleepers can sleep at 7 pm and wake up at 6?"

"Oh," was all Nev could say.

"We could try getting Lion though. I think he slept on the couch..." I told Nev.

I was still thinking why Lion would prefer to sleep on the couch rather than the bed. He knows that he could use the bed sooner or later.

"Or we could try getting Athaliah. And we shall see das mighty glare!" Nev replied, laughing maniacally.

"I don't wanna see my second worst nightmare!" I whined.

"C'mon, ya whiney-baby! Let's go get her!" Nev dragged me outside the room.

"--wait, lemme just leave my phone you hoe!" I said as I resisted.

"You don't have permissions to do that. minecraft.ray.drop.phone," Nev retorted as she grinned evilly at me while dragging me.

I sighed as I stuffed my phone into my pocket.

I continued to resist as Nev tried to drag me to a Reign of Terror.

...wait...!

I gripped Nev's hand and dragged her.

"What the Nether, Ray!" Nev exclaimed.

"Too bad, so sad, you're not my mom," I retorted as I dragged Nev downstairs and into the living room.

Leonardo/Lion (TheSilentKiller-)

I was sincerely lying on the couch. I barely couldn't sense my environment.

"Mmm... Couch, please have fun with me..." I barely heard myself mumble.

However, my senses woke up as I felt something heavy land on my body.

"Ow!" I exclaimed, but when I looked at the weight, I saw Nev.

"Oh, hi beautiful," I greeted Nev the same time I was complimenting her.

"Oh... Hi handsome..." Nev blushed. That moment, I felt my heart skip a beat as I saw Nev's beautiful face.

"KISS!" Ray yelled as he tried to push Nev's face to mine. Moment pooper.

I let my free feet move as I kicked Ray in the stomach. Ray backed away as he coughed, "Rude."

"What's going o--" Persephone said. She just woke up, but when she saw us, she screamed, "OH! NEON! NEON! NEON! NEON!"

I then tried to picture Ray and Persephone together, but when I looked at Ray, who was standing up, I saw Athaliah sneaking up behind him.

I see what Athaliah is about to do...

Athaliah then pushed Ray towards Persephone, who was looking at us with her evil grin.

Persephone was surprised when Ray was pushed into her, but she managed to stop his momentum.

Now they were face-to-face with each other.

I then looked back to Nev, who was still leaning on me, but she looked at Perseray.

I nudged her, "Um..."

Nev shifted her head to me, then said, "Oh."

She then stood up. I also did as I watched Perseray.

Before we could even look at Perseray, Storm interrupted us, "I see that someone is getting married."

Storm was at the stairs, grinning.

"Moment pooper. You must be fun at parties," Nev commented.

Storm chuckled, "I am. But I just discovered something!"

I looked at her, "So, what is it going to be?"

"Dennerheim, a.k.a. this city, is celebrating its 500th year anniversary! Isn't it awesome?" She explained as she shook Athaliah, whose face looked like she was emotionless.

I do admit that I was surprised. Dennerheim over 500 years?

"Yeah, uh-huh," Nev replied, sounding bored.

"And I heard that they're building a carnival there. In just four days, to be honest."

"Four days? For a certain event?" Persephone gasped in disbelief.

"Yes. Four straight days," Storm repeated.

"How'd you know all of this?" I asked Storm.

"I just spent two hours scrolling on Chestbook."

"Not surprised," Ray commented.

"So anyways, I'm suggesting that we should go there. I heard the event starts at 8 am."

"But aren't we supposed to eat breakfast first and prepare?" Athaliah pointed out.

"We should," Storm agreed. "We should wake up Jay and Milarite."

I nodded, "Yeah, we should..."

Persephone

We stopped when Dennerheim's park was right in front of us. However, it was covered in an enormous, white cloth. But from the looks of it, I can tell that this will be more exciting than I thought it would be.

There are crowds of people waiting alongside us. Probably the whole population of Dennerheim are together with us. We were lucky that we got in front of the crowd.

"Time check: 7:56 pm. Only four minutes till carnival," Storm announced.

"I'm aware," I replied.

"Hi aware. I'm Ray! Nice to meet you!" Ray said.

I punched him on the shoulder, "That's not my name, you idiot!"

However, I stopped when I noticed everyone was staring at us with a creepy look.

I rolled my eyes, "Really? Bruh."

"Yiee!" Nev exclaimed.

I had no idea why did I come in the first place.

Then I felt sweat roll down my forehead. Sheesh, it's hot in here, especially that we're in a huge crowd.

"I'm so hot!" Ray said as he tried to fan himself.

"Then you should convine Persephone that you're hot," Nev told him. I felt awkward.

Suddenly, I heard a British man's voice echo from a microphone.

"Test, test," he said.

...wait, is this possible? Am I hearing someone... famous?

The crowd yelled as if we were in a concert. Flashes of cameras dot the crowd.

"Hello! My name is Grian! And today, we're going to celebrate this city's 500th anniversary!" The British man announced, making the crowd scream even more.

...oh my Notch, he really is Grian, one of the best builders in Minecraftia!

"On this park, the build team and I built a beautiful, huge monument that mark this city's 500th birthday! We spent four days to build this. And I know that a lot of you want to see it already. We also renovated the park, so there's that as well. So, without further ado, let's start the countdown!"

The whole team and I enthusiastically counted down (except Milarite, who looked like she just came from a terrorist attack), and so did the crowd.

"In 5..."

"4..."

"2..."

"1...!"

As soon as we counted one, the enormous cloth that covered the park was lifted, revealing a huge park, with custom-made oak trees, paths, ponds and rivers, along with rollercoasters, booths, and even a ferris wheel (how did they manage to build a ferris wheel?), and other things that can be found in an amusement park.

The park gave a colorful environment as people rushed in like bulls. We stayed where we were.

"Okay, so here's the plan," Storm said.

"Even in a place like this, is it really necessary to form a plan?" I questioned her as we ignored the continuous flow of people.

"Yes," she looked directly to my eye. "Anyways," she pointed to Nev and Lion, "you two go together and," Storm then pointed to Ray and I, "you go together!"

She then looked to the rest of the group, "The rest of you, do what you want. Got it?"

I didn't nod, "...wait, we didn't sign up for this!"

"Okay let's go!" Storm ignored me.

"Snob," I commented.

"Hey," Ray called me. "Wanna go for a ride...?"

I watched the rest of the team go. I mean, who am I to stop the fun, especially with Ray...

I answered, "Sure!"

"Hey fam, wanna go?" I offered Lion.

He thought for a bit, "Sure fam. Why not?"

A day with Lion could be fun...

"C'mon, let's go!" I said as I held his hand and ran towards the park.

"W-w-whoa...! Easy...!" Lion stammered as I dragged him while I ran.

I was shocked as I saw how huge this place was. Booths line up the gravel and cobblestone pathway, rides tower the park's atmosphere, and hot-air balloons and colorful airships (how the Nether did they made those) surrounded the air.

"Amazing...!" I gasped.

Lion came by, "I couldn't agree more," while holding my hand.

I was amazed at how colorful this place is. Usually, I really don't care about my surroundings, but the fact that this is so beautiful... I just can't ignore it...!

"So, where do you wanna go?" Lion asked me.

I looked around me to see what could we try with...

I noticed something that looked interesting.

I pointed my finger to it, "That, please."

"Sure, fam!" Lion replied enthusiastically.

I wonder why he's so bubbly...

We walked closer to the ride. I read the sign,

"The Stomach Twister"

The name of the ride actually is nice.

As cool as it sounds, we decided to try it out anyway.

We lined up for the ride. I saw a sign that said, "If you are pregnant or you suffer from nausea, please refrain from riding this ride. Your health is our concern."

I thought that the last sentence isn't really necessary.

"So how are you feeling?" Lion started.

"Um... Good... great, actually..." I replied.

"You don't sound great," Lion said, sounding concerned.

What? You want the truth? Sigh...

"Ugh, why is the line so slow...!" I whined.

Lion patted me on the back, "Don't worry. We'll ride it soon enough."

Thanks for reassuring me, Lion.

The ride finally stopped, and all the people that rode it looked like they were about to throw up. That made me scared, but nothing can stop me from riding this ride!

"Welp, I'm ready," I told to no one in particular.

We rode the ride, making sure that Lion was beside me.

I took a deep breath as I buckled up, just in case. Hey, it's better to be safe than sorry!

Finally, the ride started when I felt inertia made me lean forward for a bit before settling on the seat.

The ride started to accelerate, but it felt confident. I had a feeling that I will survive this.

However, the ride suddenly sped up as it hit the powered rails and the ride went up and down and kept twisting in sharp turns in a swift and continuous motion, causing me to feel dizzy.

Oh Notch... I stand corrected...

"Whoa--whoa--whoa...!" I exclaimed as the ride turned around and around, making me feel dizzier than before.

"WAAHH!!!" I screamed as I felt more disoriented. I already felt like I'm about to throw up.

"I COULDN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE!!!" I screamed even more as the ride kept trying to throw me up.

I barely Lion get disoriented as I felt uncomfortable.

I managed to keep the puke in when the ride halted. The gates opened and we stepped on the ground. However, the dizziness kept dominating my vision.

"Oh Notch..." I said while disoriented. "I am about to..."

Lion swiftly grabbed a plastic bag and opened it for me. I took it as a signal to throw up in the plastic bag.

"Urp..." I groaned.

Lion patted me on my back, despite being disgusted, "It's okay... it's okay..."

I took it as my cue to hurl whatever I ate into the plastic bag.

"We shall never ride something like that again..." I said uncomfortably.

"I agree..."

I vomited the last of the food I can throw up into the plastic bag, which was filled with gross stuff.

Good thing Lion had brought a plastic bag (I don't know why he brought it).

"Feel okay now?" Lion asked me as he brushed my hair off my forehead.

I wiped my mouth as I said, "I feel good now..."

I looked down on the ground.

"Shall we take a rest for now?" Lion offered as he held my hand.

I looked at his face, "Sure." I looked at his yellow eyes. However, the rest of his face was covered with a brown, tribal cloth.

I don't know why I found it so... charming...

But I wonder what's beneath the cloth that isolate his face.

"Hey... It's okay... You can show your face to me..." I reassured him.

"Uh... I don't know..."

"C'mon! You'll be fine!" I told him as I removed the cloth.

And my jaw dropped. Oh my Notch...

I'd never thought he'd be so... eh...!

Lion chuckled, "Why?"

Oh my Notch, the killer eye and smile... If I could scream right in front of him, I would.

I then felt my heart beat faster... Oh my...

Please kill me now...

Persephone

"How about this one?" I told him as I pointed to a booth.

"Why not?" Ray replied.

"I couldn't help but notice you always say "why not" every single time we try a ride or booth," I pointed out.

"Because why not?" he smirked.

I sighed and face-palmed mentally.

"Well, shall we try this one. Please?" I begged, even though I knew he'll accept.

"Sure."

"Yay," I celebrated as I held his hand and ran to the booth.

I saw a young woman in a light red uniform behind the counter.

"Welcome to the Killer Eye!" The woman greeted. "Please pay one emerald for three tries."

Why'd they name the booth with something like that?

Good thing I had brought emeralds with me. I paid her one emerald in exchange for three darts.

"You got three shots! Use them wisely!" The woman said cheerfully.

Yes, I know.

The woman then moved in a strange but funny way. Judging from the way she moves, I conclude she's an NPC.

She moved out of the way as it revealed three moving item frames with Eyes of Ender. I suppose I have to shoot those.

"C'mon, Persephone. I know you got it!" Ray cheered from behind.

I pretty much appreciate your cheering, Ray.

I took a deep breath as I grabbed three darts and aimed at the moving Eyes of Ender.

I then threw one dagger at the Eye of Ender. It landed right in the middle of the Eye as the item frame fell apart.

"Nice," Ray commented.

I aimed the second dart and threw it. It hit the middle again.

Whoa...

I blindly threw the last dart; yet, it managed to hit the Eye of Ender in the middle.

Ray looked like his jaw dropped. Even my jaw hung either. Am I really that good...?

"Congratulations! You hit all three in a row! You may select your prize!" The woman NPC told me.

I looked around the booth for prizes. Hmm...

My eyes landed on a cute, big and kawaii-looking pig stuffed-toy.

"That, please!" I pointed to the pig stuffed-toy.

"Sure!" The NPC replied as she grabbed the pig stuffed-toy and gave it to me as a prize.

"Thank you for playing! Please come again!" The NPC told me.

When I turned around, I saw Ray looking straight to my face.

"Since when did you become such a great thrower?" Ray asked me.

"Oh, Ray. I always have been," I answered him.

"But I never saw you throw darts precisely. You will make a great archer," he told me.

I blushed at his compliment, "Thanks!"

We then went face-to-face with each other with less than one meter as I stared at his eyes. I felt my heart skip a beat as I looked at his... charming eyes.

"Such a cute prize though," he commented on the plush toy.

"I know, right?" I agreed.

"It's cute... just like you..."

I felt my cheeks redden as I chuckled, "Thanks!"

I then felt my hands get held by the warmth of Ray's hands.

"So, wanna ride more rides together?" Ray asked me, still holding hands.

I felt my heart beat go up as I smiled, "Yes!"

In fact, I do think I wanna spend time with you forever...

Lion (TheSilentKiller-)

We sat together as I patted Nev's back, who I know was disoriented.

I admit I felt disoriented too, but it's better if I was the one who feels the dizziness rather than her.

I nearly felt like calling for a toilet, but I managed, just for her. Just to see her cute grin.

Nev and I watched the rides go up and down, round and round, as we saw the colorful hot-air balloons and airships float by.

"Leonardo..." Nev called me.

"What do you need, m'lady?" I replied to her call, sounding as formal as I could.

"I'm hungry..." She complained.

"Do you want something to eat? Cheeseburger? Hotdog? Fries? Broccoli?" I offered her.

"Ew, no not broccoli," she commented. "But yes, a burger would be nice," Nev kindly asked me.

"Sure!" I replied as we stood up from the bench and went to the nearest burger stand.

"How can I serve you?" A man behind the stand said. I immediately recognized it was Botbox, one of the members of Grian's build team.

I looked at the price. A regular-sized burger costs about 10 emeralds.

"Two burgers please," I ordered as I checked my inventory, only to gasp that I only have 18 emeralds, and two burgers are 20.

"Uh... make that one burger for m'lady," I corrected as I held Nev's hand.

"Ah! You two are BFs and GFs?" Botbox asked.

"No...?" Nev replied. "At least, not yet anyway," I added.

Botbox turned to Nev as he started cooking, "So when will you answer him?"

"What? No..." Nev told him.

"But I know you will," he winked, then he turned to me while making the burger.

"How'd you two meet?"

"Eh, it's a long story," I answered.

"Oh wow, I'm surprised that was quick," he commented as he held a burger. He then covered it with red plastic with a white "G" on it.

"Please come again!" He smiled.

I held the burger to her. She gladly accepted it, "Thanks!"

"Anything for you, m'lady," I told her, expressing my loyalty.

"Could you please stop calling me a lady? I feel uncomfortable..." She requested.

"Sure, Nev," I corrected. "Better eat dat burger before it gets cold!"

"Don't gotta tell me twice!" She answered as she put the burger to her mouth.

Yes, I felt hungry, but I only got eight emeralds left, and I doubt there's food that costs eight emeralds. Well, there's candies, but I'm not a fan of it.

"Want?" She offered with her mouth filled with food.

As much as I want the burger, I shook my head. That burger was for her, and it would be a shame if I grabbed a bite from it.

"Fine," Nev said as she finished her burger.

"Want to ride more rides?" I offered.

"Naw, I want to try something different," Nev replied.

"Hey, that looks interesting," I pointed to a sandstone pyramid. "Let's go try that out."

"Eh, why not?" Nev told me.

"Okay, let's go!" I said as we ran towards the pyramid.

We went through the small entrance of the pyramid. Inside is a small, sandstone room decorated with Nether bricks and varieties of sandstone. There is also a counter made of dark oak and a man dressed as a pharoah was behind the counter.

"Welcome to Tatankmehan's Curse! Do 'ye dare enter the depths of his curse?" The pharoah greeted us.

I asked Nev again, "Do you really want to try this out?"

"Let's just do it," she answered straight-to-the-point.

"Alright, you asked for it," I concluded as I grabbed two emeralds from my inventory.

"Entrance fee is one emerald each person, right?" I told the man.

"Yes."

I paid him two emeralds as we walked through the entrance.

"Good luck with thy journey!"

As we passed through the sandstone hallway, the floor below us opened all of a sudden as we fell and gave us a mini heart attack.

We screamed, but we landed on something cold and liquid. Water.

We looked around where we were. We were surrounded by black wool everywhere and with no lights, so we couldn't see where we are.

We were enveloped by almost total darkness. That's what it is.

"Stay close," I told Nev as we walked through the darkness.

Then I felt like I bumped on something soft. Wool.

Good thing it was wool. If it was obsidian, I don't know what happens.

I felt the wall, and it led us to a narrow hallway.

"Wait, this is a maze," Nev said.

And she's right! We're trapped in a series of dark, narrow hallways. It's like being in a maze!

Suddenly, we heard a loud, banging noise that made us jump out of our skin.

"What was that?" Nev asked.

"Let's just keep walking..."

"Yeah, we should..."

We kept walking, Nev closely hanging on to me.

I then bumped on a wall. I touched my surroundings and it ended up being a dead end.

"Oops, dead end," I muttered as I gestured Nev to go the other way.

When we did, we saw an Elder Guardian appear right in front of our eyesight as it stared straight into our soul. We gave a scream as it quickly disappeared.

"Leo..." Nev said as she hanged on more tightly while breathing heavily.

"It's okay..." I reassured her. "C'mon. We gotta escape this place."

We walked through the maze, hearing creepy and scary sounds, such as a Creeper hissing, an Ender Dragon roaring, bones clattering, Spider hissing, and a Zombie groaning. Some of them made us jump out of our skin, but we just ignored it.

Finally, I felt like we were nearing the exit. I got a bit excited, and we made our move to go to the exit.

Then suddenly, Herobrine's angry face jumpscared us as we heard a very loud screech that gave us a heart attack (not literally) and gave a scream.

Then the once impossible has happened...

Nev, within one motion, because of fear, she hugged me tightly.

She was clinging tightly on me, and it felt like she didn't want to let go anytime soon.

"Oh my Notch, Leo..." She managed to say as she hyperventilated.

That moment, I felt my heart beat faster than it should, as if something was tickling my heart.

I gave her a comforting hug as I patted on her back.

"It's okay... It's okay... It's okay... It's only a jumpscare..." I muttered to her as she clinged on me more tightly.

"I'm scared..." Nev told me like a kid trying to sleep in a thunderstorm. It felt like her tears were about to come out.

I gave her the most sincere of hugs and gave her the sweetest of smiles, just to reassure her. It felt like it was about to stop nowhere though.

I then took off the tribal cloth that's covering my face (I put it back on earlier), as I gave her my smile.

"Look at me... Look at me... Look at me..." I told her repeatedly as my arms surrounded her.

Her cute eyes then looked at my face, the expression of fear still there.

I comforted her like a kid, smiling, "It's okay... That's only nothing..."

I continued to reassure her, brushing her hair off her face to show that I'm sincere while I'm comforting her.

I then saw her smile again. That's the face I was looking for...!

But unexpectedly, she hugged me tightly, not because of fear... it it because of... love...?

I felt the warmth of her loving hug as I felt my heart beat go up. I could've stood there. I could've said, "Let's go now."

But nonetheless, I hugged her back.

Ray

It was night-time now, but that wouldn't stop me from having quite a blast, especially with Persephone!

"Are you sure you don't wanna stop and eat something?" Persephone asked.

I checked my emeralds. I still got 52 emeralds in my inventory, which would suffice for more booths or food.

Well, I can't deny to food, can I...?

"A dinner would be nice," I answered her as a matter-of-factly. I then saw something very interesting in the distance...

"Is that... Ferris' Diner?" I read the sign from the distance out loud.

"Haha. Very funny Ray," Persephone replied sarcastically.

"No, I mean, look there!" I told her, looking at the sign. Behind the sign was a huge ferris wheel that was lit with colorful lights.

She turned to where I was pointing at, then she read what I was reading.

"See?"

"Hm... Ferris' Diner doesn't sound so bad for a ferris wheel, eh?"

I nodded, "I agree strongly."

"Was that sarcasm?"

"No..." I trailed off. "But to be honest, I want to try that out."

"Let's race to the wheel!" Persephone said cheerfully as she ran towards the entrance.

"Hey!" I raced after her. I then mentally face-palmed as I could just teleport to her, but meh.

"Yes! I win!" Persephone exclaimed as she stood on the entrance.

"That wasn't fair. I call hacks," I replied in disagreement.

"I'm just better than you."

"Show-off."

She then chuckled in response. I sighed. Was her chuckle always that cute...?

I held her hand, "So, shall we go?"

She nodded with her grin. As long as I see her grin, it lights up my day. Well, it's night, technically, but I don't care what time or season it is, as long as I see her smile.

We went inside the ferris wheel, and we saw a very clean and shiny plate, fork, knife, wine glass, and a bottle, along with a lit candle as a centerpiece on a table inside the ferris wheel, and two chairs on the opposite sides of the table.

We sat in the two chairs, and almost instantly, a steak decorated with sliced potatoes and some water. Although the water as a drink isn't really fancy, but I'll take it.

We grabbed our forks and knives and started munching on our food.

"So, what do you think of this day? Good? Bad? Neither?" I asked, starting a very nice conversation.

"It's great, to be honest..." She answered as she put a sliced potato in her mouth.

The height gradually started to increase as our Y coordinate increased.

Persephone sighed, then asked me, "Ray. Be honest with me. Do you... like me...?"

I almost spat the food in my mouth, then said, "Why so sudden?"

But at the same time, my heart was screaming, wanting to unleash the truth.

"Answer me first. I'm not a hoe or something, but answer me. Do you... like me? More than... whatever they call that?"

I honestly felt awkward. Never in my life that someone asked that question. I... don't know how to answer to this...

Instead of trying to find an excuse, I reluctantly answered, "Persephone... I..."

The truth has to go out...

"I do... ugh, let's just go straight into the point! Yes, I do!" I blurted out, then realized what I have done.

Oh Notch, did I made a costly mistake?

"Because..." She then held my hand...

I think I know where this is going...

She then whispered, "I love you too..."

If I wasn't surprised, I could've gone "uh-huh". But even if you had it coming, you would still be surprised, for it makes your heartbeat come alive...

"And it has been always that way, ever since I met you..." She confessed.

...wait, Notch, are you kidding me...?

I let the warmth of her hand touch mine, still left shocked when I heard her. I'm not even sure if I heard her right...

Is this a dream?

She then held me by both hands.

"So, you're saying that... we should be... more than friends or sisters/brothers?" I asked.

We stood up, still holding hands. We went closer around the table.

Then suddenly, and unexpectedly, I hugged her tight.

Not kiss cuz ew.

"I'd love to, and I love you too..." I whispered as I maintained my position.

Then, she hugged me back, as the ferris wheel were at its peak as fireworks popped in the distance.
