Narrator

On the ruined streets of Bergenheim, where jet engines roared, tanks rolled, and explosions boomed, Ray dashed past tanks and rubble. He mentally face-palmed. He could've teleported, but he did not know the coordinates of Persephone's whereabouts.

A soldier ran past him, and pointed his assault rifle against him. Ray wielded his raygun and shot radiation before the soldier could even pull the trigger.

He ran past the dead soldier and he encountered two Shulkers guarding each side. Ray pointed his gun against the Shulkers. The Shulkers opened themselves, revealing their glowing blue eyes.

Both Shulkers released its projectiles. Ray noticed that they fired projectiles faster than usual as he tried to shoot it. He failed to kill them as the Shulkers protected themselves with their thick, purple box.

As both Shulkers fired another projectile again, Ray heard a high-pitched whine. Then he saw a fireball explode on the ground, and left a crater.

"Stupid Ghasts..." he groaned.

He turned to see a Ghast above him. Before he could even shoot the Ghast, a Shulker's projectile struck him in his back. Ray felt weightless as he floated. He looked at the Ghast, and moments later, he saw a phoenix instantly kill the Ghast.

He looked down at the Shulkers, which still fired its projectiles rapidly. He tightened his grip on the raygun and shot both Shulkers. The Shulkers failed to protect themselves with their thick boxes, and they died.

Ray still floated around, but he kept on. He advanced further into Bergenheim. Seconds later, he fell, but he managed to land safely. He ran again, his stomach growling. Ray encountered five Vindicator Illagers and an Evoker, all with glowing blue eyes.

Ray wielded his raygun again. The Vindicators charged against him with their iron axes. A Vindicator swiped against Ray horizontally. Ray ducked and swept the Vindicator at its feet, knocking it off-balance.

Another Vindicator swiped against him, this time vertically. Ray rolled out of the way and shot the Vindicator. The Vindicator dropped on the ground, its iron axe accidentally stabbing another Vindicator on the ground.

The third Vindicator raised its arm and tried to strike Ray. Ray kicked the Vindicator's arm and lost its grip on the iron axe. The iron axe clattered to the ground. Ray kicked the axe away and kicked the Vindicator's face. He then shot the disarmed Vindicator.

He turned around to see a Vindicator about to stab him, and he knew that he did not have time to dodge the Vindicator. But a phoenix came to his aid and slayed the Vindicator.

He nodded to the phoenix and shot the last Vindicator.

However, he saw spikes rise out of the ground. He barely managed to keep his feet off of it. He turned to the Evoker, and he saw two Vexes behind it. Ray shot against the Evoker, but two Vexes charged against him.

Ray dove to the right side, and he felt pain as he landed hardly on the stone ground. He stayed low as the Vex charged past him. Ray pointed his gun against the Evoker and shot his gamma rays. The Evoker died in place, but not before summoning another row of spikes. Ray rolled away from the spikes as fast as he can.

The spikes stopped ⅛ block near Ray. He sighed in relief.

The Vexes charged against Ray, but he easily shot them.

He stood up and barged all the way to Bergenheim. Ray didn't notice a totem on the ground.

The phoenix; however, noticed the totem, and it flapped its wings down to collect the totem, not even knowing what its purpose were.

Persephone struggled against a metal pole, with her hands and feet tied against it. She gritted her teeth and stared furiously at Blaise.

"Birch," she grunted.

"This building is not made of birch, Fox," Blaise replied as he took a sip of his tea. He raised his teacup, "Want some?"

Persephone spat, and her saliva landed right in his teacup.

"Rude," he commented as he threw his tea away.

Blaise then walked closer over to her. His evil grin plastered on his face.

"Don't wory, though," he started. "Once I'm done with important business..."

Persephone's eyes then hovered over a pocket knife of Blaise's pocket. Blaise grabbed it and brought it near her head, "I can do anything I want with you. Including have some blood splattered from your neck."

Persephone gulped as he laughed maniacally. He then heard a ringtone.

"Speaking of important business..." he commented as he answered the call on his phone.

Nev levitated and shot purple shards against the Husks and Strays. The Strays tried to shoot at her, but Nev dodged their tipped arrows.

She hovered on the air expertly. She made sure that she dodged all the tipped arrows from Strays.

Nev dropped a couple more purple shards.

Milarite wielded her sword against the Husks. She knew that Zombies controlled are bad enough. She wondered how worse will controlled Husks could go.

She easily decapitated a Husk, then slashed on another. Slowly, she got surrounded by Husks.

Milarite then summoned a wave of spikes made of sapphire that pierced the Husks around her.

Newton commented, "You know what? Facing these Husks and Strays are pointless. I could just do this!"

All Husks and Strays then floated off into the air, as if gravity pulled them upwards. Then they fell back to the ground, and all Husks and Strays splattered on the ground.

"Wow," Nev said.

"That was easy," Lion remarked.

"What about Jay, though?" Nev asked.

Right in cue, a jet engine roared, and caused them to cover their ears.

"Run!" Newton exclaimed as he dove to the bushes.

Lion looked up to see what the jet was.

He saw a plane. He barely read, Minecraftian Air Force – Mob Control Department

Then he saw it drop bombs. Specifically, right on them.

"Run!" Lion exclaimed. He tried to run towards Jay's unconscious body, but he reached too late.

The bomb's loud impact made a deafening noise and a deadly blast. The bomb wrecked surrounding trees, and left a big crater.

Lion got affected by the radius of the blast. He barely felt his legs, and he felt unbearable pain throughout his body. He cried in pain.

"Lion!" Nev called out.

Lion shakily grabbed something from his inventory through pain. He successfully grabbed and splashed one of his splash health potions on him. He felt relief and he started to regain feeling.

"Lion! Oh my Notch, are you okay?!" Nev asked.

"J-J-Jay..." he muttered.

Nev and the team looked at Jay's body. Milarite went close to Jay's body and examined his pulse.

Milarite, with a pained expression in her face, looked at the rest of the team.

"Jay..." Lion muttered again. He grabbed something from his inventory and splashed another health potion on Jay. Lion then crouched and checked his pulse.

With emotion in his voice, he said, "Jay is... dead."

The rest of the team looked down.

"Jay was a good man, with good intentions," Nev spoke up.

"And thy efforts will be remembered in history, Jay. We will never forget... We will never forget..." Lion continued. A tear rolled down in Lion, Nev, and Milarite's cheeks.

"Thank you for being part of Team Olympus, fam..." Nev finished.

Ray read a barely readable sign, Inner Bergenheim – straight ahead

He tried to run towards Inner Bergenheim when he realized his stomach had nothing. His efforts for dashing came useless as his stomach started to crave for food.

Ray checked his inventory. He sighed in relief as he saw an apple and three baked potatoes in his inventory.

He ate three baked potatoes. He felt an insurgency of his energy. Ray continued to run. He saw a Cave Spider in the distance, and he shot it immediately.

He looked on Inner Bergenheim. Tall but wrecked buildings surrounded another tall, sturdy building untouched from war.

Then a building collapsed near him. He ran as swiftly as he could, trying to avoid all the falling rubble in the area.

He ran forward, but he encountered a group of Blazes blocking his way. All of them immediately shot fireballs against Ray. Ray took cover behind a statue of Jeb holding the Minecraftian flag.

Ray quickly glanced on a description encrypted on the a copper plate read, In remembrance of Jeb and all the people who died for Minecraftia during the Frostburn War.

Ray shot the Blazes from behind the statue. The Blazes approached the statue, but Ray managed to fend them off.

Ray cleared the Blazes out as he ran towards the tallest, and the only building that still stood on downtown Bergenheim, in hopes of saving Persephone.

Persephone kept struggling on her pole, still tied with chains.

Blaise walked near her, gripping on his pocket knife.

"If the world was about to end, what would you do first?" Ray asked.

"The world is already about to end, you wooden hoe," Persephone snapped.

"Of course," Blaise interrupted, "Live your life to the fullest is what you do. So before the world ends..."

Blaise then hovered the pocket knife near Persephone's forehead. He moved it closer. And closer. And dangerously closer.

Persephone winced in pain as blood started to drip on her forehead.

"Birch, fight me," a voice challenged.

Blaise stopped cutting and turned around. Persephone gasped.

"Liah!"

Blaise slapped Persephone, "Shut the Nether up."

"How dare you..." Athaliah said.

"How dare you..." Blaise replied. "How dare you come up to my office without my permission?!"

"You're not my boss," Athaliah retorted. "Fight me."

"It's a shame that not all of your friends are here," Blaise commented, "But fine; I'll give you what you want."

"Are you sure about that?" she questioned. Blaise then heard the clattering of chains. He turned around and Persephone's presence went absent on the pole, and left two untied chains swaying.

"Hello," another voice said.

Blaise turned to the source of the voice. Ray stood beside the pole, pointing his raygun at him.

"It's your weapons against yours," Ray commented.

"Good luck, Blaise. You're freaking cornered, you vermin," a feminine voice challenged.

Persephone stood beside the other side of the pole, her hands swiveled with ice.

"Well, this is going to be fun," Blaise said.

Athaliah charged against Blaise first, and summoned fire against him. Blaise managed to despawn the fire.

Persephone summoned an ice wave, and Blaise managed to melt it away.

Ray shot his gamma rays against Blaise, but he dove away to the right.

Blaise summoned two Blazes behind him, and the Blazes immediately fired their projectiles against the trio.

Ray fired radiation against the Blazes as Athaliah summoned small hydras made of fire.

"Hail Hydra!" she exclaimed as her hydras spewed fire.

Mist started to form on the room, causing disorientation with Blaise. The limited line of sight did not stop Persephone. She extinguished the flames of the Blazes using ice. The Blazes died, and Persephone summoned an ice ball against Blaise. The ice ball hit Blaise, but Blaise cleared all the mist in the room.

Blaise dueled with Athaliah's hydras. He summoned more Blazes, but Ray managed to kill them.

Athaliah engulfed Blaise with flames, but Blaise manipulated the flames out of him. Athaliah saw Persephone sneaking behind him with her ice katana ready.

Athaliah dueled with Blaise using fire, and slowly, the room went ablaze. Smoke enveloped the room as fire engulfed on flammable material. Explosions blasted the ceiling of the room, and it revealed the floor above.

Persephone realized that her katana will melt if she stayed in the sheer heat of the room.

She swiped Blaise with her katana, only to go through a couple centimeters deep.

Blaise cried in pain as Persephone backed away. His injury caused bleeding in himself, and he summoned a huge fireball against Persephone before dropping on the floor.

Persephone tried to block the fireball with ice, but her ice power wouldn't work in her current room temperature. All that came was a puff from her hands.

She closed her eyes and braced for the impact.

"Persephone!" Ray called out.

Persephone then heard an Enderman teleport, but she still waited for the impact.

But she did not feel anything.

Athaliah gasped and left the dying Blaise. She witnessed the event right in her very eyes as she noticed something drop on the floor.

Ray's raygun, and it stared deep into Athaliah's soul.
