Narrator

The skies turned blue as the sun showed its rays. The atmosphere of the morning enveloped the shaky train. Inside, Lion opened his eyes, and shook Nev up.

"I need my beauty sleep..." Nev mumbled.

CHOO! CHOO!

Nev suddenly opened her eyes, her eyes widening a bit as she held her ears in pain.

"What a very nice alarm clock," she sarcastically commented.

Lion chuckled, "I know, right?"

Lion then caught a whiff of something gray, unpleasant odor.

"Is this... smoke?" he said as he sniffed the odor.

"Yep, it's smoke," Nev answered.

"Strange."

Lion's eyes peered over the side of the train. He watched the treeline in the morning sky pass by. He recognized that they were no longer near the Koji mountains, which explains the reason why he doesn't see any mountains.

Lion heard a jet fly past quickly. Looking up, he judged that the jet was a military jet.

"...what in Minecraftia is going on?" he muttered.

He peered ahead of the rail tracks, and saw what he did not expect that explained the whiff of smoke.

Behind the treeline, tall skyscrapers soared above the trees, but smoke engulfed almost all of the skyscrapers. Some trees near the city burned as well. Lion could barely hear the explosions in the distance.

"Oh Notch, what happened to Bergenheim?" Lion asked more to himself than to others.

"Lion, what happened?" Nev asked. She turned to where Lion looked at and answered the question herself.

"What the..." she gasped. "Bergenheim is the capital. How come there's a civil unrest in the national capital itself?"

"I don't know Nev, but I have a feeling that we will find out," Lion replied.

Someone else interrupted, "Ugh! Mates, where is that smell coming from?!"

"Hiya, Newton," Lion greeted.

"What's with the smell?"

Lion pointed to their destination that burned. He could hear Newton curse under his breath. Lion saw Milarite walked in in the corner of his sight. Ray and Persephone went behind Milarite.

"Dear Notch, save us from the Nether," Ray cursed as he saw the fiery Bergenheim in the distance.

"Did something happen when we were asleep?" Persephone asked. Lion just wiggled his eyebrows.

"Shut up, Lion. Don't be dirty-minded," she replied.

"What was he thinking about?" another man joined. Lion saw Caden standing in the train cabin door.

"You know..." Persephone started as she coughed.

"What? What was I supposed to know?" he asked.

"Wow," Nev commented, "So innocent, Caden."

"And here I thought you were a night-owl. When did you sleep?"

"You're not my father, Caden."

"I'm your worst nightmare," Caden smirked at Nev as she sighed. The rest of the team just laughed.

The laughing, however, ceased when they heard a loud boom that prompted them to cover their ears. The train shook violently.

"We gotta get out, now!" Athaliah screamed out of nowhere, "There's freaking bombers!"

"Bombers? Are you serious?!" Lion exclaimed.

"Why do you think I'm running if I'm not serious?!" Athaliah screamed back as she leapt off the train. Then another boom echoed throughout the train, which prompted the team to get out of the train.

The team saw the train burst on flames as jet engines roared in the sky. Lion even saw a tank barge into the city and a rocket or two fly past them.

He turned to the treeline, which danced with flames and tread marks on the ground.

"We're under attack!" Newton exclaimed as trees got uprooted from the ground and levitated in the air.

The team turned around and saw a variety of mobs surrounding them. Zombies, Skeletons, Creepers, Endermen, and Spiders. The Zombies and Skeletons stood still, the sun not affecting them.

And they all had glowing blue eyes.

Persephone whipped out her ice katana and slashed against the nearest Zombie in one hit. She then stabbed another Zombie that charged against her in the stomach.

An arrow whizzed by, but Persephone could dodge it. She summoned small ice spikes in the air and threw it against a Creeper, two Spiders, a Zombie, and a Skeleton.

Then an Enderman teleported behind Persephone and smacked the back of her head. She winced in pain, but she slashed back against the Enderman, but the Enderman teleported away.

The Enderman teleported again, this time on Persephone's front. Persephone managed to block the Enderman's attack by summoning an ice wall.

Persephone ran away from the ice wall and decapitated a Creeper before it even exploded. She sensed another Creeper creeping up behind her, so Persephone immediately threw one of her ice spikes against the Creeper.

Persephone looked up to her front and saw three Zombies and a Skeleton about to shoot her. She backed away and dodged the arrow, but that didn't stop the mobs from charging.

Persephone, without realizing it, went back-to-back with Ray, who had his raygun ready. Ray turned his head towards Persephone, then nodded.

Persephone made an ice wall surrounding herself, along with Ray. The Zombies outside started climbing the ice wall, but Milarite summoned crystal spikes to stab the Zombies.

Milarite detached her sword from her oddly-shaped shield. She swiped her sword against a Spider, cutting it into halves. On the corner of her eyes, she saw Persephone rise out of the ice wall using her hands as a propellant with ice coming out of it along with Ray.

She charged against an Enderman. She saw a tree about to crush her as it fell. At the last second, Milarite slid down the ground as the tree fell. Under the falling tree came a gap that Milarite managed to pass through. Milarite stood up, with leaves on her face, and slashed against the Enderman. But the Enderman teleported away.

Milarite then threw a crystal shard behind her, and turned around. Behind her was a stabbed Enderman.

She heard a hiss, and she immediately knew that it came from a Creeper. But she knew that she has no time to dodge the Creeper.

However, a phoenix grabbed the exploding Creeper and threw it against a group of mobs on the ground. It exploded on the group, causing all surrounding mobs to die.

Milarite nodded to the phoenix and continued to charge against mobs.

The phoenix flew around the sky as it summoned fireballs, each of them landing on the mobs. Athaliah the phoenix looked around and saw Persephone in mid-air, throwing ice spikes against other mobs. Nev also flew by, summoning purple shards that killed a decent amount of mobs.

Athaliah swooped down and grabbed an exploding creeper near Lion and dropped it against a group of mobs like a bomb coming out of a bomber. The Creeper boomed and left a crater in its place.

Athaliah flew back up and summoned fire against other mobs.

She didn't notice that there's a flash of red in the woods.

Lion fought bravely. He killed every mob in his sight. With his claws that shined like a diamond and his splash potions, he fought confidently. But he noticed that these mobs were smarter than normal. He had a feeling as if... they're controlled...

He saw a phoenix swoop down and grabbed a hissing Creeper behind him. He nodded back to Athaliah, then focused back to fighting.

Lion slashed against a Zombie, which instantly died, then dodged a Skeleton's arrow. He charged against the Skeleton and stabbed it. A Spider bit him, and he winced as he decapitated the Spider.

Lion slashed against another Zombie, but he nearly slashed someone when he recognized Jay.

He sighed as he continued.

Jay stabbed a Zombie on its chest with his diamond daggers. Jay noticed an arrow has whizzed by, and registered the fact that a Skeleton shot it.

He went to the Skeleton and disarmed it using his dagger. (His Dagger (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Raise your hands if you get it)

As he fought on, he noticed a figure lurking in the treeline. Jay did not have time to check it out as he stabbed a Spider. An Enderman teleported behind him. Jay did not have time to dodge it as he felt a loud smack at the back of his head.

Due to the impact, his senses started fading away, and he collapsed into the ground.

A very familiar laugh that echoed in the woods was the last thing he heard.

Caden and Newton went back-to-back. Caden, with his glasses took off, concentrated on a mob's mind. With deep thought, he made the mobs feel disoriented as they collapsed to the ground, with their glowing blue eyes fading away.

"Easy," he commented.

* * * * *

On the other hand, Newton kept uprooting the trees off the ground using his power of gravity manipulation.

He made the trees levitate then crashed it on the ground, crushing mobs to death in the process.

Suddenly, he rendered the gravity to zero, causing all entities in the certain area to float with no gravity. Newton felt weightless, but that did not stop him from making the mobs float higher by turning the gravity upside down. He made sure that other people did not go along with the mobs though.

When he felt that all the mobs reached his designated altitude, he rendered the gravity back to normal. The team landed softly on the ground, but the mobs fell, and the mobs splatted to death.

"Well, well, well..." a voice echoed creepily. Team Olympus (Persephone, Ray, Nev, Lion, Athaliah, and Milarite) gasped as they suddenly knew who said that.

A figure lurked behind the bushes, then walked into the sunlight, and revealed who he was.

"Blaise..." Athaliah grunted.

"Well, if that's the way you treat guests into your houses, I'll take it," Blaise told Athaliah sarcastically. "How is everyone?"

Nev charged against him, "Screw you mother–"

Blaise summoned a wall of fire against Nev. Nev stopped despite her momentum.

"Rude."

Persephone and Lion groaned. Ray, Newton, and Caden narrowed their eyes at Blaise.

"I see you have killed every mob in this area, eh? Now, the Armed Forces Mob Control Department now have less work to do."

"Go to Nether," Newton cursed.

"Calm down now; that's not going to work," Blaise said. Persephone just raised her middle finger against him.

Blaise ignored her, "Well, there's one thing I should do anyway..."

Milarite widened her eyes.

"Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll just... Hah!"

He summoned a fireball against Persephone, which she failed to dodge. Persephone felt sheer heat as she lost control of her senses and collapsed.

"Persephone!" Athaliah and Ray exclaimed.

Blaise quickly grabbed Persephone, "See you, suckers!"

He then blasted off to the sky, heading into the horizon of tall, burning buildings that was known as Bergenheim.

"You little sh–" Ray cursed when he heard more Zombie groans. He turned to see its source.

He gasped when he saw Zombies that just came from a desert and Skeletons that just came from a blizzard.

"Not the Husks and Strays..." Newton groaned.

"I'll go get Persephone!" Ray exclaimed as he dashed through the bushes and into Bergenheim.

"Ray!" Nev called back, but Ray already made distance between them.

Athaliah sighed, "I'll follow him."

"Not you too!" Nev exclaimed, but Athaliah already flew to where Blaise headed.

Nev, Lion, Milarite, Newton, and Caden turned towards the charging Husks and Strays.

Ray rushed past trees and bushes, his eyes set upon the city of Bergenheim.

He stopped for a moment to catch his breath. He looked at the outskirts of Bergenheim in ruins, with tanks rolling, soldiers shooting, and mobs, from Blazes to Witches, rampaged the entire city. Explosions triggered in the distance, as well as gunshots boomed throughout the entire city as it looked wartorn and desolate.

"I'm coming, Persephone..." Ray muttered as he continued to run. He also saw a phoenix fly by, in their journey to Bergenheim.

I expected this to go over 2000 words. And I think I did. In fact, it's 2061 words!

What will happen next? Will Ray and Athaliah succeed in saving Persephone? Will Nev and her team kill all the Husks and Strays? And will they finally overthrow the President? Find out next time on Minecraft: Arctic Fox!
